Going to Bronycon! (Also State of the Author) · 7:25pm Jun 25th, 2014
Alright so, I feel I owe you guys an explanation after the amount of time that I've been gone. I haven't written anything in around 4 months, and yet my stories are managing to get me followers and favorites every now and again, which admittedly is a little weird to me. However, since I know you guys don't wanna read ten million words, I'll simplify everything and bold anything that might be eye-catching.
I've been gone for a while because of college. Long story short, my depression made me get C grades during my first year, so I had to pull back on my writing in order to bump my grade up to a transferable GPA. I'm at that now, and to make a long story short, a lot happened since then. I'm at that range now, so a good question would be, now what?
I still want to write out all the ideas that I have, the only problem is that my main fic idea is going to take at least a year to finish, assuming I write 1k words a day (which I'm not.) I'm thinking of writing all my one-shot ideas so that I have nothing but the big idea to do, but I'm still thinking about it.
There is a Dash's New Mom sequel, that's for sure. That's also the reason why I tagged it, to let you know. I'll also finish Therapist Visit: Chrysalis relatively soon since the fic idea that I got from it is no longer viable to write.
I am going to Bronycon 2014. I was there last year and I had a boatload of fun, but this time, I'm going to be on the Crossovers Panel.
I'll mostly be talking about The Coltbert Report and basically how hard it is to be funny when you're not a funny person. I'll maybe also help other writers or maybe you if you want advice and don't have time to ask us questions during the panel. I'll post another reminder once Bronycon comes around, but yeah, yay, I'm on a panel.
On The Wings of the Moon is my first priority. I love that fic, and I want to finish it. After that, probably my big crossover fic. I might do a Watamote crossover one shot, just because I love that anime so much. Maybe Kill la Kill too, we'll see.
I'm currently a judge in Obs' Dangerous Group contest. If you want some judgment from me (for some reason) and some other dudes like Jake the Army Guy and Alexstrasza, then write an entrant for it. You got two days, go.
EQAD schedule is secondary, which is why it sometimes hasn't really been updated.
In Retrospect's episode on the finale is up to Alex. HEY ALEX GET OFF WILDSTAR YOU FUCKER.
And I might start doing fanfic readings in my spare time, since I never read Last Tears in Tartarus and I told Skirts that I would. Depends on how that goes. I like reading and I need to read more stuff. Perhaps suggest some stuff I could and should read? I'll make note of it. Thanks in advance.
That's it so far. Thanks to everyone who has been sticking with me. To those who actually like my clop, I'll probably do a clopfic or two before Bronycon comes around. Horse fucking is fun every now and then.

I first started following you just after Dash's new mom started up. I was expecting it to be a comedy, but I liked it even after it firmly established itself as a dramatic piece. The emotion present in the argument scenes felt absolutely genuine. It was very well-done
