Okay, so first off I decided that with the publication of "A Not So Lovely Change" I would hit the reboot button on my account. What does this mean if you just started started following either myself or the previously mentioned story? Nothing really. I'm just getting rid of my old stories that I wrote when I first joined this website and stories that I know I wasn't going to finish that have been on hiatus for like, I dunno, eleven months.
Moving on now, I also wanted to say what the update schedule is going to be like for "A Not So Lovely Change." Last summer I wrote and completed "Her Frontier" which updated every week on Saturdays at 8 A.M. PST. I decided I'm not going to do that this time.
There are two reasons for this. The first being that I knew that I could finish "Her Frontier" during the summer if I updated every week. If "A Not So Lovely Change" goes according to plan then it will probably be the longest story I have ever written and I am definitely not going to be able to finish it in one summer.
The second reason is quality control. Looking over "Her Frontier" I realized that it definitely suffered from being updated every week. Some of the dialogue, especially Applejack's...oh god I suck at writing dialogue for Applejack, was not as polished as it could have been. By eliminating the weekly updates I can polish the story up nice so that it's hopefully easier on the eyes.
So when will the story update? At the moment I currently have the second chapter finished and have already started on the third chapter chapter. I just need to revise the second chapter which hopefully shouldn't take long. Expect it in maybe a week or two. Once the second chapter is published it may be some time, perhaps a few weeks, before chapter three is published. Once those two chapters are done and dealt with the updates might come in greater time gaps. The reason for this because I'm also writing a short Sunset Shimmer and Flash Sentry fic.
Never the less, Saturdays is most likely when you'll see this story update. [EDIT 6/30/14: I have decided that I will also update the story on Wednesdays.]
