Huh? "Just write faster," you say? Ha ha. This is silly, and you should feel silly for suggesting it.
No. Instead what I'll be doing is updating a widget on my userpage. It'll say when I've last updated the widget, as well as the status of the current chapter (in progress, under review, complete rewrite, etc). This will enable you, the loyal reader, to make informed statements like, "Oh good. He updated his userpage yesterday. Guess he's still alive. Wait, it's been three weeks since the last chapter, and he's only 25% through the next one. What a bum."
I would rather you take your time and write something brilliant instead of rushing out crap.

Oh, to be sure. I'm just busting my own chops. I just want to be more efficient with my limited writing time, is all.
Limited writing time has its perks, though. Plenty of time spent brainstorming and outlining.
A hard balance to maintain to be sure, but one well worth the effort.
