While I'm not one of those types who obsesses over dreams and is always searching them for deeper meaning, I do feel that they tend to show off our mental state in a way that's a lot more intimate than your normal reply to "how ya doin'?" The subconscious holds a large part of who we are and how we're feeling, and--as I mentioned in discussing other fics of mine--I believe that tapping into your own subconscious is a clear path to better understanding yourself.
So when my good friend blogs about the blood-chilling dream he had, I see how much this weighs upon his thoughts. I see how this bleeds into the real world. I better understand how it shapes the kind of stories he writes, because on conscious and subconscious levels, it impacts the lens of existential tragedy that he views the world through.
Last night, I had a dream too~
Due to a glitch in the website, Fimfiction was blocking a small handful of users from being able to upload. No new stories, no reaction images in comment sections, no new blogposts, nada. As I recall, the bug affected people with very particular usernames, and the system wasn't able to link these usernames with user IDs, thus no new content uploads. Knighty and Xaq were working around the clock to fix the bug but... You know Fimfic. There was a MASSIVE conspiracy on the rise that this was the mods intentionally abusing their power to censor the freedom of speech of specific users blah blah we've heard this song and dance before.
While this is going down, I am attending a... ahem... a launch party for a new product release for a company that... celebrates misbehaving winged lizards. In the middle of the... festivities, I receive a text message from Knighty, summoning me back to Fimfic HQ.
Because Knighty wants to establish good PR with the blocked users, he wants me to assist with smoothing things over. I'm the perfect blend of being kinda associated with the site due to the Seattle's Angels bit, while also giving Knighty enough plausible deniability with "he's not actually part of the site staff". Plus, like Liam Neeson in Taken, I have a certain set of skills.
Thus, Knighty literally whores me out. I take on the role of Official Fimfic Gigolo, given out as a token of goodwill for any Fimfic user experiencing difficulties with their horsewords.
Upon waking, I felt that this dream explains much about my subconscious.
Knighty, if you're reading this blog, I'm not necessarily opposed to upgrading this from a dream to a premonition. Your people know how to get in touch with me. 
You didn't mention the misbehaving firebreathing lizards part of that dream.
Time to burn the sheets you slept on.

I had numerous dreams about breaking into bakeries and eating donuts. :B What does that say about me?
Oh god, I'm such furry scum. I didn't get halfway through the "misbehaving winged lizards" section before both realizing exactly who you were talking about, and thinking how much it must have sucked that you were interrupted.
