Procrastination and Featured! · 7:01am Apr 4th, 2014
So we'll start off with the good news.
I got featured. That damn box has been my goal for a while now, and I finally got in. With a one shot... that I put 3 hours of work into... Ugh. I was not expecting that one to make it there. I spent literally days on some of my other fics, including Cheated Dreams, but whatever, I got featured, a nice follower boost (hi new people!) and it's still going! It's going on 48 hours up there, and I can finally have a featured fics box on my user page! HUZZAH! So yeah, that's kinda awesome for me.
Onto the procrastination part of the title. I said a while ago I'd start releasing Cheated Dreams chapters. I did mean to do that but... instead of editing the chapters to put them up... I just kept writing them. I just finished chapter 21, and I've only posted up to 16. I want to start editing and posting over the weekend, but I'm really crunching to get this thing done. I just wrote the climax, so now I just have to wrap it all up. And I still have to explain why the antagonist framed them... ugh, I don't want to write that. It's gonna be hard to work it in a make it believable....
But I'll pull through it.

With how many TL;DR dropouts on this site and beyond. Is it really any wonder the smaller oneshots get more attention? They are the delicious 50cent honeybuns of the fiction world.
But hey, we all love cute. Comedies are always nice. And SombraPie has a bit of following.
Personally though, I think it deserved its feature. Some people really do take that holiday to extremes, and that sort of thing has happened a fair few times that Pinkie did to Sombra. Such things are never funny.
In any case, grats on the feature! I for one am all for procrastination!
(Not the biggest Twidash fan but I'll check it out! Those two can be cute in certain situations.)
Both the procrastination and the featured story deserves some epic victory music!
