New Twilight Sparkle Group! · 2:30pm Mar 5th, 2014
Hey all, Timaeus here.
Just gonna pop in to let you know about a new Twilight Sparkle group here on fimfiction. This group is meant to be another option for those who are tired of dealing with the more prominent Twilight group with crippling, strangely enforced, and rather tyrannical submission rules. Also, this new group isn't run by a dick of an admin. So that's a plus.
The group was started by Jondor. Note, if you guys aren't already following him, get on that.
Without further ado, I give you Free Twilight Sparkle!

Special bonus: if you make an error for whatever reason in fic placement with regard to folders, you won't get banned. Downside: you will make Twilight sad. Not sure which is worse.

Peppy Greyskull is kind of a dick. He can be very professional, but also a dick. Also, the rules are unnaturally harsh for folder placement. After a bunch of people were bitching about it Jondor made the new group.

Nopes. Just jumped ship.
Oh wow this group is all ready better then the other one in terms of sorting.
Being big in to ship fics this is amazing i can just go in to the romance folder and find the twilight x pairing i'm mostly interested in.
Instead of having to go thew all of the lets say twilight x any of the other mane 6 i can just pick twidash right of the bat.

I know Peppy is a dick. But he's a dick for a reason: He's sick and tired of fixing other people mistakes. So he set up a set of rules, clearly explaining how to properly file your stories.
You miss once? Okay; honest mistake. You miss twice? You should probably go back and read the rules. Missing three times? Well, you obviously have no interest in reading rules and file things where they are supposed to go, so your privileges have been completely revoked.
Twilight might do the same if you'd piss her off enough.
That's the reason why I prefer to handle Twiliy's Library on my own. That's the only way to ensure proper organisation.

I'll be honest, i missed the rules Peppy made twice. For some reason, I didn't exactly get the concept, but after that I did.
Then on the third occasion after I had submitted a story correctly, I took off one my tags because it didn't seem to fit. However, the story was already in the folder, and I was banned as a result. I explained the issue, but he thought I was lying and even went to pinpoint the exact time of a screenshot of my story I had posted in a blog post of mine, before I took off the tag. So he refused to comply, using this as evidence, when he could have taken the time arguing with me to just remove it from the group.
I'm unbanned now, but I haven't submitted anything since.
