So, due to popular demand (well, three or four people, anyway), I did a sequel to Love Is Patient. I used another quote for the title, though this one's from Nietzsche, which is kind of the opposite of the source for the other quote. I had to do another Nietsche quote for the chapter title (only chapter there is, of course), which is really a partial quote. For those who didn't get it right away, he's talking about death being able to "sweeten every life with a precious and fragrant drop of levity." So, yeah, as you can tell, this sequel is full of sad feels. Well, it also has nice, nostalgic feels, as much of it is flashbacks to earlier events, but if it doesn't bring liquid pride to your eye then I have failed you for the last time, Commander. I have to admit, though, I am so in fictional love with Kilala's character, Nidra. She's just got that je ne sais quoi that piques my interest. She's not really complex, per se, but her motivations aren't really what you expect in a "good guy" type character with whom you can sympathize, because she really is kind of selfish and mean, even when she learns to be caring and nice. I also like Anthea more now that I've been able to pervert her mind sufficiently. Really, though, I like to think that the Mane 6 kids would not necessarily exemplify their parents' EoH, and that Annie would be more of a Laughter type, even if she did get plenty of kindness from her adoptive mother (but, really, laughter and kindness can go hand-in-hand... or hoof-in-hoof). I hope I got that across. Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys.
Just gotta say again that I LOVED this story. I love all the other fanfics for these characters as well but you definitely picked my favorite genre. FEEEEEELS! The characterization was spot on and I love you took them a step farther than I have. I espescially loved pervy Annie XD Great job once again!

Thanks, though it was really your portrayal that inspired me. I couldn't help giving Annie a pervy side, either. I think it's mostly because I've had female friends a lot like her, and they usually end up being... well, every bit as dirty minded as anyone else around people with whom they're comfortable. Not only that, but I apparently have a knack for dirty humor, so it's natural it would shine through.
There was actually a lot of other stuff I probably could have done, too, but it wouldn't have fit this particular story. Like having all Pinkie Pie's kids come up with their own versions of the Pinkie Promise, and Cloudy Skies ends up being the Sky Swear, but it's actually just cursing. It'd be like...

Sky: Don't f***in' do that sh**.
I'm still wanting to do something about Nidra meeting T for the first time, too, kinda like the Claire/Illusion first meeting comic. It'd almost have to be comic form, too, 'cause I want Nidra to do a "dat wingspan" with Kanye shades (courtesy of Pinkie who she met earlier) when she sees him fly in. And she can be all princess-y with her kiss-my-hoof routine to which he does a hoofbump. Yeah, I might have to see if I can do that.
Anyway, sidetracking aside, I really enjoyed being able to mess with your OCs. I've seen a lot of 'em, but few are as engagingly well-thought-out.

Yeah, it might have to happen, eventually. I can imagine Illusion introducing her to Claire, first, and Claire trying to be ladylike in spite of her being super annoying, like Rarity on diva-roids. Maybe she hatches some diabolical plan or something, too. Oh, and Luna realizes that Celestia was not necessarily wishing her well when she said she hoped Luna's daughter was just like her.
