Obligatory Reblog: Royal Guards now active! Plus status updates! · 2:40am Jan 29th, 2014

A few of you may have heard of a little project going up on FimFiction—the Royal Guard, a group dedicated to highlighting quality fanfic. If you’d like to find out more about us, you can check out our original blog post, but that’s not what we’re here for tonight.
As the Princess in charge of the queue for The Royal Guard, I am pleased to announce that we are now open for submissions! If you have a fic that you’re confident about, feel free to submit it to us for evaluation. If it’s up to our standards, we’ll be happy to post it!
A few rules, by the way:
—No [Mature] stories. Sorry, but it’s not up to us. Adsense doesn’t like clop or the like, so we can’t advertise it on siteposts.
—You’re permitted one story submission every week (i.e. every seven days). This is just to make sure that we don’t get flooded with a ridiculous amount of fics, especially during opening week. Any stories submitted after the author has already submitted one that week will be automatically marked as duplicates in the queue and deleted.
—If you’re unsure of our standards, check out our Omnibus. If you’d like some clarification on our process and infrastructure, glance over the Prereader’s Constitution.
—FimFiction stories only. Sorry, GDoc/dA folks.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask them below. I’ll be happy to answer them! In the meantime, keep on keeping on. Expect to see our first compilation post next Tuesday, and then biweekly posts after that.
Anywho, with that taken care of, I have some updates for y'all. Project Thesan chapter 6 is pretty much done, just going to give it another coat of polish to make sure it's good to go before publishing. Dogs of Winter 9 is underway, though I've somewhat stalled out on it for now. Right now, my main focus is on completing the next chapter of Arceus and the Displaced Village, including more revelations of what happened to our beloved Ponyville characters these past ten years! So stay tuned, because things around here are going to start looking livelier again

A pity that this can never apply to me, not even to my non science fiction stories.
