I've been trying my hardest to to write a new story for my all those watching me. I've pushed and pushed myself, striving for an amazing story that everyone would enjoy only to come up short, throwing crumpled pages at the wall, screaming in frustration. I want to provide a great story. Not only great, but the greatest that I can achieve, even with my mediocre talents and limited experience.
But my wanting has came with a steep price. I've been running myself ragged, going for 30+ hours with no sleep every time. I did not slept longer than four hours between those 30+ hour runs. Then I developed an 102.7 fever and I sleep for 18 hours straight, and when I woke up, I discovered that I had severely neglected myself and had lost 13 pounds from the lack of eating.
I realize nothing is worth pushing myself that much, even writing, so I'm announcing that I'm going on a hiatus. I'm taking a much needed break to clear my head and rethink some things. I'll also reread some of my favorite books, call up some of my friends, and - most importantly - sleep. Celestia knows I need to do that.
And now, as a gift, my favorite book in one link! The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss.
Made by me, in an hour of boredom.
Take the time you need, and get better.
Oh and when you come back, I might be interesting in helping out when it comes to editing and stuff.
Get well soon!
Writing yourself sick is kinda not good!
Rest well, write when you can. I look forward to seeing you return!
You know trying tour hardest to think of something actually is going to take your inspiration away? This is why some of the greatest story are invented when someone is doing something like pooping.
