A friend of mine suggested this, so I thought I'd give it a shot. OK, so since I have too many stories, I've decided to hold a contest. For the stories listed as such, I will allow people to write the next chapter and PM them to me. Whoever writes the best chapter will earn the right to continue the story. I will also send my plans to the winners, but you can choose not to follow them if you want. The continuation status of my stories is as follows:
An Experiment
The reason I haven't continued this one lately is because the plans I had for it are too ambitious. Literally, with what I planned, this story was turning out bigger than Kyrodian Legends, and with no end in sight. It also ties in with several other of my stories, though I won't spoil which ones. I might consider letting this one go, but it'll be tough.
Hippophobia
Actually, I'm very close to the end on this one. The problem is, this is my most popular story, and I'm terrified that the ending won't do it justice. I can't say how many times I've rewritten the final chapter. I might even split it into two instead anyway. I do intend to finish this one, just let me get the nerve. I dunno whether to blame you guys for liking it so much or myself for making something better than I thought, but I'm afraid I'll screw this up, because truth be told, I wrote is as a joke; I never intended for it to get so big.
Hunter the Shadewing
Not planning on opening this one up. Sorry. However, if anyone's interested in using shadewings, just let me know, and I'll post info on how they work.
I had an idea for an alternate version of this story. If you remember my previous post regarding this story, I'm still not sure if I'm able to write a convincing war story. I was thinking for a possible rewrite, Hunter isn't aware of Equestria and fights Nightmare Moon, but I've already seen several stories like that. The difference in my idea, aside from the main character not being human, is that the deus ex machina of the second episode doesn't happen. I dunno, what do you guys think?

Just take it. If you guys wanna write about a depressed amnesiac changeling with a foul mouth and an addiction to tea, you be my guest. With how much I've been working on the Kyrodian Legends version of Shacklebolt, I just don't like the Fimfiction version anymore, and it's not like I own changelings or anything, so there's no stopping you guys from doing your own versions of the changeling Shacklebolt. I just don't like him anymore.

Rum Raisin Brandy
This... ugh, this was the most shameless self insert ever. Heck, it was so shameless, I was considering crossing over with My Better Life if Sharky White allowed it. That and, well, I just don't feel right writing a story that includes another real person (talking about Crescendo here) and possibly making him do something he wouldn't really do. Dunno what I'm gonna do with this, but since it's an RL insert, I don't plan on handing it over, except maybe to Crescendo.

I have no plans for this. It was just an interesting concept. I'm very happy to take submissions for this, since a lot of people seem to think it's a good idea, and I'd like to see something come of it as well.
Stunt Double
I actually like this one a lot. The reason I stopped is cuz I had the second chapter written; it just got deleted and I never rewrote it cuz rewriting something that I like but got deleted is a pain cuz I try to make it as good as it was before, and it just never seems right. I have an ending planned, as well as some more funny scenes. I just can't get over this block. But just to be clear, no, this one is not open.

Oh yeah, there was that one story from a long time ago, Transcendent Bonds. I had planned pretty far on that one, but never came up with an ending, and what I had planned was full of holes. I still have the files somewhere, so if anyone wants to try, I'll send you what I had, and you can write your entry based on that.

Sounds like a good plan you got there. I might try my hand at one or two of those stories up for grabs. I have two questions, though.
Will you alert us when/if you hand a story over to someone? I'm following all four stories we can try to claim and wouldn't be too happy if one or more suddenly disappeared with no clue as to where they went.
Can we change the rating for the stories? Like I said, I'm probably gonna try writing a chapter for one or more of those four stories. I've made some plans for Source Code, but those plans touch on some subjects better suited to a story that's at least rated teen, as opposed to the everyone-rating it's on at the moment.
