No, I'm fairly certain I can be as unpolite as I want, so long as I follow the rules. Fact of the matter is this; I don't really mind criticism, so much as I mind a particular manner of criticism. But when you say that, you might as well say you don't like criticism, cause then nobody believe you when you say you're okay with it. Rather than debate the finer points of critique, I decided to eliminate any and all doubt.

If this disappoints you, I am sincerely sorry. That it disappointed you. Not that I'm a jerk. In a web site filled with jerks, at least I'm being honest about it and not pretending I'm some good sameritan who donated my precious time to telling you I'm better than you.

(In case there's any miscommunication - I am not saying I'm better than you, in fact, I am trying to make it clear I am better than no one)

1618283 I think it's more the fact that the rules usually state to try to not be a jerk (Wheaton's law, love and tolerate etc) that confuses me at first.

Secondly, I'm disappointed more at your statement as you imply there are no good people on this site and I confess I must respectfully disagree. Other than the occasional disagreement, most of the folks I've interacted with on here are very friendly and welcoming. I accept not everyone will be like this but not all.

I guess it's less disappointment hearing your clarification and more sympathy to the fact you seem so bitter.

I apologize for coming across as harsh as I think I did earlier, I was overreacting somewhat and I appreciate your patience.

I wish you had clarified your point on critique though. I would be interested to discuss it.
