I'm pretty sure this is the last one for a while now, but I just wanted to let everyone know just what's going on.
Perhaps you noticed that Alliteration has been replaced by a story with a much longer name. A Selection of Sappy, Sweet, and Sometimes Somber Short Stories and Snapshots is a compilation of shorter Twinkie stories that includes Alliteration. It was tempting to just let Alliteration stand on its own and make a completely new story to house the other short ones that are coming, but this will be much cleaner and easier to keep track of.
What this means is more short things are coming! I've been struck by a few fun ideas the past week or so which I've pounded out. I think that they'll be enjoyable since they're short and sweet and sappy just like Alliteration; although one or two of them will be a bit more dramatic or even sad so that should be interesting.
I really enjoy writing snippets and snapshots, so I think that this will prove fun for all of us.
I'm also not sure if that's the image I'll end up keeping. I don't feel right using other people's work without asking so I'll probably try to make a cover image myself later, but for now it'll just have to be adorable umbrella hat shenanigans.

Yeah. TwiPie is more widely used, but I prefer Twinkie because I subscribe to the belief that all Pinkie ship names should sound like desserts.
Nononononono..... separate stories are separate stories! >_< It irks me when authors do that... erg.
Cute stories, still a big fan, but unless they're actually connected, separate stories really should be kept separate, in my opinion.

You know, the little TwiPie doodle I made the other day was inspired by this post. I had the idea of drawing something and offering it to you to use as the cover image (I don't use artists' work without permission, either), but then I realized you're a lot better at drawing ponies than I am and would probably just wanna use your own artwork. But, um, the thought was there? My heart was in the right place? I guess?
Anyway! Glad to see some new short TwiPie/Twinkie stories from you while we're all waiting for "Dissertation of Affections" updates.
