WRITING UPDATE: TATSATC Epilogue, Story 2, and The Legacy of Twilight · 10:32pm Nov 11th, 2013
Hey everyone! Got back from Nightmare Nights Dallas yesterday, having volunteered at the con. Awesome experience, totally recommend it.
Took the weekend off because of said convention, but I am almost 5k words into the epilogue, and almost a thousand words into Chapter 1 of Story 2 (which doesn't yet have a name). I'm hoping to get the epilogue of TATSATC done and released on/by Saturday, which is the one-year anniversary of me first publishing the fic... and receiving 7 dislikes and 0 likes right off the bat. 68 more likes and 11 more dislikes later, how far I have come. Some people even retracted their dislike and added to the thumbing-up. Which is good. I managed to get people to change their opinions on it.
Now that being said, allow me to speak about my other story. The one I haven't written anything on in months. I'm speaking, of course, about "The Legacy of Twilight." Fear not, it is not cancelled. I'm actually going through the process of fleshing out some things for this shorter story. However, until further notice, The Legacy Of Twilight will be going on hiatus. Hate to do this to you guys, but with the end of the semester approaching, with me wanting to get a head start on this sequel, and with me generally working on two stories at once, I'd rather only be worrying about writing one story, instead of two. I really don't want to cancel this, but I'm afraid that if I end up getting so piled high with stuff, I just might.
Now, on to something more light-hearted. Want to see how far I've come since I first started writing? Have a look at my fanfiction.net page! If you pay attention to dates, you may notice that my first fic was published almost 4 years ago. The account is older, dating back to 2007, but that just means I didn't write on it for three years. Well, I hope to God you guys cringe at least once when reading this stuff. There are a few gems in here that I still look back on and like, such as some of the one-shots and the brief chapters of my last two Zelda fics, but for the most part, I think I've abandoned that site in favor of this one, in no small part due to the rating system (you can't get any better when people just leave "OMG so gud!!1!" reviews). But anyway, indulge yourselves! And keep brain bleach handy at all times! I suggest kittens.
