The Crusaders managed to get some chocolate mousse to the Very Important Pony who missed dinner. There may have been some breaking and entering involved, but hey -- it was for a good cause, and the adorable little foals made a friend in the process.
The fact that their new friend turned out to be the youngest Equestrian Princess was a surprise to everypony. 
It turns out there's some turmoil in Zebrica surrounding the paleontological dig that the Crusaders are headed to on their field trip, and Princess Twilight the Equestrian diplomat now has six new assistants to help resolve the issue.

The Crusaders make a new friend!
No vent, or door, shall bar their fight.
To deliver baked goods to the princess twilight.
With charm and with wit, their smiles shine through.
To bring a great night, under luna's new moon.
From red robin with glee, a serving delight.
To simile whom dared, embrace his fright.
Moon dancer and smile, to charm open hearts.
And torchlight stood strong, with affirm and with grace.
Gin gear to help, in the plight they all faced.
And twilight anew, to find friends in this place.
All the while longer, terre amber waffle faced..
