    Nightmare Moon AU

I keep musing about ways Cadence being canon before S2 could have fun influences on fics and the story but I just had an idea for an AU where upon returning Nightmare Moon steals the Elements of Harmony before anyone even gets close to them. Twilight and company still become friends, but then they barely escape the castle being collapsed on them and have to be saved by Zecora; as they recover,

    Original Fiction Idea

Anyone who has been following my blog recently may have noticed I posted a rather detailed fic concept, for anyone who missed it there should be a link in the side bar to the various post.

DBZ Aftershock Characters: Kin, Pepper & Villains

The primary antagonist! I've temporarily named her Kin for another OC I adored.

DBZ Aftershock Characters: Azure & Isheen

Azure, (filler name) the Samurai psychic. Azure in a tall, blond-ish haired man/woman (I originally planned woman but am thinking maybe guy now) is based of General Blue from the Mystic Adventure movie, both in appearance and uniform. (Blue was nominally a good guy in that film so food for thought.) They may be a reincarnation, maybe not, chances are folks wouldn't mention it or notice unless

DBZ Aftershock Characters: Yancy & Ran

    Set up For Cast:

The story follows a new generation of 'heroes'. Though most of them are more aptly called protagonists and in come cases are outright antagonists. Some of this cast fall under the guidance of Bulma, Korin and Roshi while others have their own support networks & agendas.

Fun Post: Crazy Canterlot Wedding Fic · 6:30am Sep 19th, 2013

This has nothing to do with the C!verse, it's just a Maneverse fic idea I've had for awhile and I wanted to throw down the outline in case someone feels like taking it (I can't write comedy) and because it would be fun.

Crazy Canterlot Wedding:

Is and AU/What if crack fic based around a simple premise; what if the season 2 Canterlot wedding was between a different Canterlot native and romantic partner. Each chapter or small collection of chapters focuses on a different pairing and wedding; but they all more or less start in the same manner, the mane cast are relaxing at a picnic when, through some means, they find out about one of the princess's (or another Canterlot native) getting married and that they're invited.

Then the chapter and pairings just follow what ever comedic or romantic direction is most entertaining. The only technically "requirement" for the story is that one of the soon to be married characters lives in Canterlot, the same does not have to be true of their partner. Chrysalis doesn't have to invade but her trying tp be there r pull something could always add to the fun.

Here are some suggested pairing: Naturally Sombra, Crystal ponies and Discord can't be on the list due to being shadow/stone.
Cadence/Chrysalis (it's a political marriage that Cadence is overjoyed about and may have been involved in making part of the deal. Suffice to say a shape shifting partner is an idea she finds appealing. Celestia's sort of awkward and uncomfortable and Chrysalis, probably very confused and culture shock gags abound)
Luna/Iron Will (ham to ham combat)
Celestia/Saddle Arabian delegates "they arrived early" (It's partially political and because they are about the only thing her height so Celestia is really excited. Ponies are sort of like her kids and really tiny making romance awkward. "Look I can look them in the eye without breaking my neck; isn't that fantastic!?")
Celestia/Gilda (Blame a certain oneshot for this one)
Princess's/princess's (because why not XD
Luna/Shining Armor (she picks him as her royal concubine/consort. After all she's very traditional)
And more or less so on in that fashion. Some pairing would be, semi-repeats, Celestia/Chrysalis ETC.

I've only gone beyond a singular gag/idea for one pairing and honestly it could perhaps even work as a solo fic, that I probably won't ever write, sadly.

Trixe/Celestia

The basic idea is that Trixie got the money together for the alicorn amulet sooner and went to Canterlot to make her purchase. After slipping it on she opts to take it for a test drive and settles a few petty grudges, in relatively benign fashions as an experiment of her new abilities. Pranking Blueblood for bumping her in the street ETC.

Celestia is out and about for the day and catches wind of some evil magic and goes to investigate (it's a perfect excuse to skip that meeting with s stuffy nobles about the length of mane cuts in schools) she finds Trixie and opts to isolate the area of all civilians hoping she can talk her into giving up the amulet.

That, doesn't go down great; finding that Celestia can counter her magic Trixie starts tapping into the power more deeply and it quickly starts affecting her mind. Celestia manages to lure her into an attack that forcefully flings them both out of the city and into a meadow. Eventually Trixie gives into her anger and essentially becomes berserk; while Celestia continues trying to reason with her and limit the damage. She eventually allows Trixie to "win" and when the blue unicorn is standing over her ready to "strike her down" Celestia asks the armor piercing question. "Is this what you really wanted?"

This manages to make Trixie realize she's about to "kill" a perfectly Innocent pony and how dangerous she's become and how far she's fallen from what she ever wanted to accomplish, even before the Ursa. She tears off the necklace and confesses what happens and why she went so far Celestia offers to let her stay in the palace, nominally to ensure no linger twisted magic is in her but mostly because of the princess wanting to help her.

Trixe manages to come back to herself fairly quickly, arrogant, abrasive ETC, but still with underlying doubts and worries, but somehting else starts happening Celestia opts to spend far more time with her, wanting to hear her grand tales and see her fantastic illusions. Over the months the two grow closer until, well a confession and a soon to be wedding.

(I actually love this pairing because, as a commentor on a piece of art said, "’Perhaps the most intriguing crack ship. It works because Trixie would be arrogant enough to treat Celestia as an equal, and little does she know that that’s exactly how Celestia wants to be treated.") That's essentially why Celestia initially opts to keep Trixie around, she wants to help her get back on her hooves but later finds herself very renamed with the illusionist.

Of course the story itself actually starts with the picnic, but rather than it being Spike who delivers the letters it's Cadence and they are more like, pre-wedding invitations, to come and meet the soon to be brides. She's come by, because in this little AU she's interested in Twilight, there's background story element with her trying to seduce Twilight throughout that particular wedding chapter, not necessarily in others.

Celestia was nervous about telling her student, due to the, tense, history she and Trixie have. But upon meeting, with some hints from Celestia Trixie apologizes as do the others (there were many wrong party's in that episode, even if Trixie was a pratt) Celestia has been working to improve her partners personality, without, controlling or overtly teaching her and Trixie's bringing freedom and adventure into Celestia's life.

But the next time the cast go back to help with the wedding Trixie seems to have fall back on bad habits and this time Celestia is completely unaware of it. As it turns out Chrysalis stole Trixie and is feeding off Celestia's love for her. Cadence and Twilight know something is up and eventually rescue Trixie. Who manages to use her magic to "re-ignite" Celestia's magic leading to the S2 finale and a wedding. At some point Cadence confesses to Twilight as well.

The epilogue, to me, is just Trixie sitting on Celestia's throne leaning against the alicorn while sleeping with her eye's open (pretending to pay attention to the court) while Celestia does paperwork. Then the Crystal Empire returns and it sort of ends there depending on how far I got into the various versions of that scene.

Thoughts? XD

P.S sorry about this, it's been in my head for awhile.

it's been in my head for awhile.

...and a strange, strange head it is. Which to be clear is a quality I appreciate.

:rainbowlaugh: Funnily enough it all started with just the Tixie/Celestia idea and started snowballing months back.
But I like to think that, we're all strange here.

we're all strange here.

And damn proud of it! :ajsmug:

Very true! In hindsight it may also have been a tad inspired by six brides/mares fro two princess's but I can't remember which came first.
