So for the past while, I've been working on a collab story with fellow equine-word enthusiast, totallynotabrony. 
Well, now that story is finally ready to be foisted upon the unwitting masses!
There it is. It was a real blast to work on, and hopefully it'll be just as fun for you all to read. 
It's part of the Vampire Cheerilee series of stories. A series I've been a big fan of for a long time. Don't worry too much about reading the rest of the series. I mean, you should read it because it's awesome, but Hearts and Hooves Day Hurts is self-contained, and the rest of the series is not needed to understand it.
It was an honour and a joy to work on this story over these past... weeks? months?
I don't even know...
Anyway, huge thanks to totallynotabrony for the amazing opportunity, and for many super fun nights of writing.
Now everyone go read it.
Now, to any of you wondering about Mother of Invention, don't worry. Work on it is still progressing. I should hopefully have a new chapter out before too long, and the next chapter should follow relatively quickly (quicker than this one, at least).
I feel absolutely dreadful that I've taken so long, and you have my sincerest apologies. Please, try to bear with me. I promise that I will finish this story. I have not burned out on it in the slightest, and it will never go the way of Mare of War. No matter what else happens, there will always be another chapter of Mother of Invention on the way until I finish it. That's a promise.
Oh, and to the people who are wondering about my drunken Q/A video, that's also on the way. The footage has been recorded, but needs to be edited down. I put that project on the backburner while I was working on the collab, but I can get back to attempting to make it somewhat watchable now.
That's all the nonsense I have for you, for now.

I'm do sad about Mare of War. That was already one of my favorite stories.
