The Hour Approaches-A House Divided · 2:24am Sep 14th, 2013
So, most of you probably don't know that I've been working on a story.
For about 6 months or so I've been compiling characters, outlines, locations, and everything else that a story needs. It has been slow going for me, I've been stalled by writer's block, poor time management, simple laziness, character/plot blocks, and many other things that a writer faces. But, despite it all I stand ready to unveil my work. However, even though I'm happy with what I've produced for about 2 weeks now I've been coming up excuses why I shouldn't begin publishing.
-"I need to edit it some more!"
-"I need to get cover art for it first!"
-"I need to get a couple more chapters in the works before I publish!"
Are the 3 biggest excuses that keep coming to mind. While these thoughts do hold merit they don't help when they're never solved, which conveniently lets me keep my work safe from hateful comments. So, as it stands I've set the blockades and have prepared to hit "publish." On September 21st, I will publish the Prologue and Chapter 1 of my story, A House Divided. No excuses.
I will make the necessary arrangements and adjustments to insure that my work is as clean and as appealing to you, the readers, as I can. I hope you enjoy my work and I look forward to pressing onward. It's do or die mares and stallions.
