Welp...I'm still alive...

So yeah...it's been a long time.

First things first...A House Divided is still happening. I'm terribly slow and lazy at the best of times, and I've also been doing a bit of a rewrite and trying to write the entire thing before posting. I'm honestly not a fan of writing a chapter, posting it, and then continuing. When I write ideas tend to change and adapt. Something becomes bigger than it used to be or something I thought was important early turns out not to be the case. Sometimes I find there's no reason for certain characters, and I need to cut them from the story.

So I have done some writing and I'm trying to get the story at least mostly finished and cleaned up before I start posting it. That way I know what I'm posting is either the final product or as close to it as I'm going to get. I've also vastly underestimated the scope of what I'm working on. I've managed to get about 70 pages (unedited), and I'm still in Act I.

Not that I'm complaining mind you or trying to make excuses. I could have gotten this show on the road and I've been lazier than I would have liked. However, I thought I should share some of the factors in contributing to the wait-besides being lazy of course.

Okay-enough chit chat. I need to get my sorry butt moving!
