Hello everyone, hope you are all well, and enjoying the summer. It’s hot here in England, but we’ll manage.
I thought I might give you all the low down of my stories, and how they are progressing.
So to start, An Expression Of Love. I have finished chapter 13, which I have split into two parts because the second half needs some major re-working on it, and work has begun on chapters fourteen, fifteen, and sixteen. I’m thinking I might put this story on hiatus for a bit; so I could finish off the story, make it look as neat as it can be, then publish it a week until the end. Then again, I may not.
Secondly, Last of the Dragonlords: A Good Mare Goes To War. Chapters one to five are published. Chapters six to twelve are finished with work to be done to them over a monthly period each, and chapters thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen and seventeen are being worked on bit by bit (I’ve even gone a bit further and written out the entry of the villain, whose name will remain in my mind).
Now, something had been bugging me for a while now, and I don’t know whether to do it or not. I’ve been thinking about re-writing the first quarter of Last of the Dragonlords, and add a prologue that shows Firewing leaving Canterlot after another nightmare.
It would mostly be the same, except chapter one will begin when Fluttershy wakes up from her coma, meets Twilight, who then tells her through flashback the dragon attack, her death, and then her resurrection as a Dragonlord. Chapter two will begin just as Twilight finished her story, and end the same. Other bits and pieces will change, but it will follow the same story up to chapter nine. Should I do that, though?
Oh, and I have had seen a very high lack of stories on celestiashy, or flutterlestia. Time to remedy that, I think.

Hot. Yes, it was about a week ago. Now we have the middle of autumn suddenly. Oh, well, summer is still quite young.
Hiatus or no, I will wait.
If you believe that the rewrite will make the story better, then by all means, do it!
CelestiaShy... can't say I've ever seen that but your story will be a very good place to start!

1215222 Just to put it up to scratch with the rest of my writing. Compared to the rest of the story, chapters one to eight look horrible, and the rest will simply need a look over with a proofreader. I'm just not sure whether to do it, though.

They are coming along great. True Sight is just about to shift tones and come to the part where my duo starts "world hopping" if you know what i mean. I know I asked your permission to use your stories timeline eventually. I'm not even close to that though heh. My mind is fully on Comic Con. 1215244

1215254 Oh, yes, Comic Con. They're going to be showing a season 4 preview there, which is fantastic, cause winter is a long wait. It makes the winter the Starks have been predicting look like mere seconds

I like the beginning as is. Mainly because we don't know who Firewing ever is in the beginning and just adding him would be confusing. In fact, you don't even mention Fluttershy being adopted until after chapter 2 or something, so it makes even less sense.
Also... Fluttershy can't have children is possibly the most heart wrenching thing I've ever heard.
1216131 Well he won't be mentioned by name, and would be completely seperate to the rest of the story as he dreams about the world on fire, then him leaving Canterlot in the dead of the night, and later shows Fluttershy waking up from a wierd dream in the spa, before going to sleep again. Which explains why Fluttershy has her head in the clouds in the first chapter.
Or, I could just leave out the prolouge and write out the first eight chapters again with better writing.
And I know, it was painful for me to make her barren, but I couldn't think of any other way to keep her as the last of the Dragonlords.
