Good evening/morning, how are we all? I am really sorry for my moments of silence lately but things have been busy for me, if any of you didn't know.
In September I started by second year of university and so far it's been going well. But to get the grades I want and get into the third year I have to up my game and get on with what I have to do, which is a presentation, an essay, a project for a museum, and then whatever I like to do for the end of the year. So that has been holding me back from working on these stories. Which is what I made this blog for so I should get into that.
Firstly, An Expression Of Love. By all accounts, this story is not dead, and I will never cancel it or stop working on it. After the mixed response of the last chapter, I decided to work on that chapter and have a more show-friendly beginning rather than... y'know, that. Something a bit funnier than Twilight almost dying, which is also something she can freak out over. After that is done, the rest of the chapter needs updating to go with this turn of events, then after that I can continue with the story and get it finished.
Secondly, there is a problem I have concerning the story. I haven't heard anything from my proof-reader of AEOL in ages, and though I wouldn't like to do this out of respect for him, I fear I may have no choice. I need another proof-reader/pre-reader for this story, as well as Last of the Dragonlords: A Good Mare Goes To War. If anyone would like to be another proof-reader for me, then please let me know.
Anyway, onto Last of the Dragonlords: A Good Mare Goes To War. With this story, I have an announcement concerning the development of this one. I'm not cancelling it nor putting it on hiatus, this one is too important to me. So after looking at the word count of the story and seeing it soon to surpass the first's by a landslide, and we're only a quarter of the way through, I decided to go with this idea.
I'm splitting the story into two parts, similar to George R. R Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire stories, namely A Storm of Swords and A Dance with Dragons. The first part will be given the sub-title The Passing of Harmony, while the second part will be called The War of the Realms.
The main reason(s) I'm doing this is because with An Expression of Love to finish, I can finish the first half of the story, then finish the twishy romance while writing up chapter twenty five onwards for the second half (I finished all but one of the chapters (which the last one is chapter twenty-four) for the first half as well, so that's another reason I'm doing this). I know it's a silly thing considering this is the internet and the story chapters can be as many as I want, but I honestly don't want to put on hiatus on AGMGTW; I would rather have an incomplete or a complete tag on there than that. So that's another reason. This might seem like a rant, and I apologise if any of you think that, it's not, but it's a personal choice.
Anyway, Last of the Dragonlords: Retirement of a Dragonlord will have new chapters up once the first half is completed, so I will work on all three over a long period of time, and hopefully university work won't get in the way once the essay and presentation work is completed.
That's about it, I believe. I hope you are all well, and have been enjoying the winter so far. Has anybody seen The Battle of the Five Armies yet, and what did you all think of it? I thought it was bloody epic!

Actually there is very very little carbon dioxide in the air. The two main components by far are Nitrogen and Oxygen. Argon makes up almost a percent. CO2 is less than 0.04%.

I saw the new Hobbit yesterday, and I really enjoyed it. I would say it was better than the other two. Brought me back to the original trilogy with the fight scenes.

2665414 So did I, the battle was awesome (I loved the orcs more in this one than I did in the Lord of the Rings trilogy (except the uruk-hai) they just seemed more threatening with the way they looked) the deaths, the ending... gosh I teared up at that ending. I really hope Christopher Tolkien realises that people wants to see the Simirallion and The Children of Hurin on the big screen and gives the rights over

3272192 No not dead, totally not dead. I just have had a hard time lately trying to find the moment to write some more, or write over the last chapter anyway. But no, it's not dead, and I do plan on completing it, just please be patient with me
So, A Good Mare Goes to War... Based off of the comments present here, as well as on the story itself, I would assume it isn't dead. That said, doesn't it state above that you have up to chapter 24 done, or am I just misreading that? It's just that it has been almost a year since anything was posted, and I'm getting worried.
3450497 Hello, so yeah, basically, the stories aren't dead, absolutely not. What is happening however is the time to go through the few chapters and change a few (technically speaking, a lot of) things that I once thought were a great idea, but now seem really crap and completely OOC. The main reason to this is University, and now that I've started my third and final year, I hope once this is over I get to actually get on with these stories.
I just ask for people's patience and understanding and that I will have this and the second half completed.

I just finished reading the first last of the dragon lords and was about to read the sequel when I saw the incomplete tag!
At least it's not dead! Gonna keep this in my read later, can't wait till' it's finished!
