Writing Soundtrack · 3:33pm Jul 19th, 2019
Nothing beats writing an (hopefully) epic battle scene than listening to songs from the newest Sabaton album π
For those that write, do you listen to music while writing, or do you prefer to write in silence?
Hope to get another chapter out within a month or two
I usually end up reading to soundtracks, but occasionally music will add to a scene. I once wrote an unpublished Undertale story completely to the works of the Youtuber Lucas King who writes a lot of sad, slow, or dark music which fit perfectly. But I prefer to accompany reading fanfiction to various songs. Sometimes it will add to a story's value, and make it better!
5091192 I know what you mean about music adding to a scene. I was reading an Appledash fanfic on here while listening to the newly released Hobbit Unexpected Journey soundtrack. An Ancient Enemy started at a certain point (when the main bad appeared) and the score fit too perfectly.
I donβt write as of today, but if I were to do so, I see myself listening to videogame soundtrack while at it
