So last month, not long after I posted about Pia-chan's gorgeous fanart, I glanced at the #greenfire tag on Tumblr, not expecting to see anything new. But what should I stumble over but another awesome piece of fanart? I linked it in the story description as soon as I saw it, but just in case you didn't see it already, here it is! Thank you so much, Fukaï, I absolutely love it. You got my mental image of their comparative size just about perfect.
How are things going for me? Not well. I'm drop-dead sick at the moment with some kind of cold/mild fever. Had it since Thursday. My wonderful girlfriend has provided me with soup and NyQuil, though, so I'm hopeful I can kick the bug out by tomorrow. Already missed two days of work.
So glad to see everyone's been enjoying chapter 6 of Greenfire! It's broken past 1,000 favorites, which just amazes me. We're halfway through the story now, can you believe it? I've been seeing a certain question asked a lot in the comments, so I'm going to let you all in on a teensy little spoiler. I've been hinting at it here and there, and maybe teasing just a bit. But chapter 7 will make it clear exactly where in the original timeline this story takes place. I won't say any more than that.
Well, except that chapter 7 came very close to being titled "Everything is Ruined Forever".
