Exalted Third Edition

A Kickstarter to help fund the production run of Exalted Third Edition launched last Thursday. The Kickstarter ends on June 8. Donations can be anything upwards of $1 USD, and Onyx Path Publishing has already exceeded their goal by more than five times, with over 2,000 people backing the project. (They still have stretch goals, with the next goal to be reached in about ~$5,000.)

Rewards for backing (beyond, obviously, getting the product released!) stretch from a "thank you" in the credits for $1, to getting John and/or Holden to run an Exalted session for you and your friends via Skype for $3,000. (... Nobody's paid 3,000 yet, but two people have paid 1,000 to become a "consulting developer" on an upcoming Exalted project.)

Several of the donation tiers include PDFs of Exalted Third Edition (starting at $30) and PDFs of First Edition novels, setting books, and caste books ($25, $35, and $40 minimums, respectively). At $110 you can get a leather-bound foil-trimmed copy of the Exalted Third Edition book ($130 for non-US), at $125 you can get the Storyteller's Screen ($145 for non-US) at $165 you can get a full-color canvas map of Creation ($185 for non-US). At $375 you can get the deluxe book that's available starting at $110, except the cover will be insert with a golden metal and inscribed with Old Realm (rather than simply leather with High Realm). You can also get some of the rewards à la carte by manually increasing your donation:
+$15 for the First Edition novel PDFs.
+$20 for the First Edition setting PDFs.
+$30 for the First Edition Caste Book PDFs.
+$20 for the EX3 PDF. (adding a PDF can only be done if you're at a tier that's already giving you one or more PDFs)
+$100 for each extra Deluxe book (US)
+$120 for each extra Deluxe book (non-US)
+$15 for a Storyteller's Screen
+$55 for each Cloth Map of Creation
+$350 for each Ultra Deluxe book (adding a physical object can only be done if you're at a tier that's already giving you one or more books)
+$265 to upgrade from Deluxe to Ultra Deluxe (US)
+$285 to upgrade from Deluxe to Ultra Deluxe (non-US)

The "Ultra Deluxe Orichalcum Edition" book requires that at least 200 people want it, or else they won't be able to print it. If they don't meet that quota, anyone who wanted it can get an appropriate refund.

Most of the reward tiers that are limited by their very nature (such as picking a dinosaur to add to the bestiary, getting your character's name used in the book's text, etc.) are already sold out. The only limited tiers that are not sold out as I write this are the game with John/Holden ($3,000 and only one available), and a customized interactive character sheet plus portrait of your character ($350, seven left).

Reward tiers that only have digital items have an estimated delivery of October. The other reward tiers have an estimated delivery of December.
