Maybe not so much dreams, but cool things that you imagine would be cool from way back that end up happening, and just feel really cool.
Like today, getting the chance to meet the illustrious Short Skirts & Explosions! That was one of those things I jokingly imagined, before I realized he how close he lives to me, and that I work about 5 minutes from where he does... Yeah, that revelation blew my mind.
^ I actually wasn't that bad, but half the time I felt I was >_<
So anyways, all that fancy stuff aside, he announced here that he was going to Megacon, and so I ended up hooking up with him just inside the sexy doors, and spent a couple of hours just hanging out and chatting. He's a really neat guy, and it was great hearing insights into his written stories as well as his own story. We were also joined by this cool dude a little later on.
Near the end of our time, our attempts to pretend we weren't complete fanboys failed with the autograph requests, of which he was awesome enough to grant. In addition, as a token of thanks for his stories as well as his time, I left him with Harmony:
I commissioned her around a year ago now, and had decided back then that if I ever had the chance to someday meet SS&E, to give her to him. Mission accomplished! =)
All that rambling aside, the highlight of the morning was getting a picture with him! That's right, finally, photographic evidence of the existence of everyone's favorite lemur!!! Scroll down to see!

Yeah, I'm just as surprised as everyone. He's an actual lemur, go figure.
So anyways, that's all I have to share for today. Going back tomorrow, hopefully for another chance to stalk this majestic creature. Afterwards, I should have enough time to finish up Chapter 2 of the audiobook and have it ready to upload (maybe as late as Sunday).
And all in all, totally worth the cost of parking =P
