I Do Voices Now, Voices Are Also Cool

Both my blog post titles, if you didn't know yet, are a pun from Doctor Who. Aren't I cheesy...

Following up from my last blog, I'm well at work on the second chapter for The End of Ponies audiobook. By that, I mean I finished the recording and cutting for the narrative and Harmony's lines a few days ago, and as of today I've done Gilliam and the Dirigible Dogs, which means recording (by far the most difficult stage to find time for) is finished.

And holy cow did that hurt my voice. Being as raspy voiced as the diamond dogs are, I opted before-hand to record voices separate from the narrative to keep me from killing myself, and I'm so glad I did. Periodic coughing breaks were pretty much necessary to get through it, but thankfully that's over and done now (and as of yet, not more diamond dogs in the main EoP arc to voice), which means onto the editing portion! I had said somewhere before that it would be up by this next Saturday, but sometime in the middle of this week actually seems more plausible.

So with that, I'll post up another blog once it's out. Not that anyone actually reads these: I've got like, 1 follower, and not actually sure why I have even that (we're both in the Brony and Pegasister Scouts group, so I'll attribute it to that). Whatever, I post for my own sake as a journal, to one day look back and remember why I started this crazy project ;)
