Found a good Scootasad story · 2:23am Feb 18th, 2013
I was browsing the site and found a short but poignant story about Scootaloo, and her idol Dash who kept ignoring her. I nearly produced some 'liquid pride.'
The Four Little Words
It's based on the lyrics of a song, and wow did it hit me in the feels. Like 'sucker-punch to the kidney' in the feels, and it was literally four little words.
Not much else to say. It's cold or snowy all the time, I've been cooped up for weeks with nothing to do but work, write, and sleep. If this keeps up for another 2 weeks I'm pretty sure I will be certifiably insane. I think waiting for story updates on my favorites, combined with waiting for editors, is going to seriously damage my brain cells.
Be sure to check in for more Scootahappy moments! It's my last bastion of sanity. I think tomorrow I'll write some more flying lessons, along with a visit to the totally-not-filly-grinding Rainbow Factory. Soon after, a ghost from Scoot's past will pay her a visit. I'll also be starting the "Dash learns to be a good parent" story arc. I could picture it now: Scootaloo using black make-up, joining a heavy metal band, attending goth dance clubs, drinking under age... mwahahaha!
Also, I was serious. I can feel myself slowly going insane, it may be due to the pony hypnosis tapes or the snow or the schizophrenia.... But this accurately surmises the weekend I just spent trapped indoors with nothing but the season finale of MLP and my cat for entertainment:
Yeah. My cat most certainly does not love me.
BOOM!! SHE IS EPIC!!
Do you really have schzophrenia?
858897 No, but I sure felt like it waiting for my editors to help me on Sanctuary.
Part of me wanted to be patient, and the other part wanted to hunt down the editors. Mostly I just couldn't stop thinking about what horrible errors they might be finding, whether I'd be sent to writing kindergarten, or be banished to a distant country and locked in a prison there.
