The Rules of the Approver · 4:54pm Feb 12th, 2013
Hello, peoples. I am the Approver, and I approve of things.
Let me lay down a few rules on things that I do:
• I look at accounts.
☼ I either disapprove or approve of them and make a comment on their page.
☼ I usually follow them.
☼ I occasionally give them recognition† by making a blog, with the title: "User Recognition: [Author/User]". There will be a brief summary of his/her works, what s/he has done for the community, and a link to their profile.
†NOTE: Users can be recommended to me through PM.
• I look at stories.
☼ I read them and like them
AND/OR
☼ Put them on my read later list and read it on my alternate account.
☼ If I like a story enough†, I will make a blog for it, with the title: "Story [Dis]Approved: [Story Title] by [Author]". It will have a brief summary, my opinion on it, the summary given by the author, and a link to the story. The story will also be favorited.
†NOTE: Stories can also be recommended to me through PM.
• I look at blogs.
☼ I approve/disapprove of them on occasion.
☼ If I like it/don't like it enough, I will make a blog with it, usually with the title: "Blog [Dis]Approved: [Blog Title] by [User]". It will basically be a copypasta of the blog, along with why I like it and a link to the original.
• I look at groups.
☼ I join them and approve of them.
☼ If I like it enough, I will make a blog for it, usually with the title: "Group Approved: [Group Title] by [Founder]". It will have a brief summary of the group, along with mention to all the admins and a link.
• I look at photos.
☼ Photos may be MLP or non-MLP related.
☼ I will have the photos on a blog, along with the title and artist for each respective piece.
Other stuff:
♪ I try to stay away from opinionated topics, but if I do talk about something like that, I try to give an unbiased view and give reasons for both sides of the argument. (This is something I usually do by nature)
♪ I will only favorite a story once I have reviewed and approved of it. All other stories that I like which are not reviewed will be favorited on my alias.
Most groups are run by teams of Admins. I'd mention all the Admins.
