Updates! Bonus Chapters! The Votes Are In!

Good to be back! First, have some copy-paste:

New story (kind of): Private Party

The much-requested PinkieDash scene from Romance Reports. Doesn't really stand on it's own...I guess I'm considering this a bonus chapter. Tone shift, watch out!

Now then...

What's next?

Projects in the works:

1. Romance Reports editing, revisions, new scenes, alternate ending.

2. Romance Reports sequel. Kind of. Same continuity, but focusing on Fluttershy and Big Mac. Mostly outlined, should start on it at some point.

3. Short ideas. The votes have been counted, and number two (Older Rarity X teenaged Spike) won by a landslide. Tentative title, "Like Fine Wine"

I'm gonna start with the Rarity X Spike, we'll see about the bigger projects as they come along.

And that just about brings us up to speed.

Someone on the last blog post inquired as to my thoughts on Twilight X Spike...I'll say right off the bat that I'm not a huge fan. I much prefer them to have a brother/sister or almost mother/son kind of relationship. It seems more canon and more comfortable to me.

That being said, I don't think it's impossible to write, and write well, at that. Grown-up Spike and older Twilight could have all kinds of interesting dynamics. RagingSemi's "Our Last Goodbye" was a beautiful take on that, in my opinion. There's also comedic potential, with desperate, adorkable Twilight pouncing on Spike as a measure of last resort. There's a fair amount of comics by Weaver (Glitter Glue?) running jokes on that premise, and they're amazing.

As a serious ship though, I'm not big on shota/pedo stuff, so don't expect any material in that vein from me. Not that I'm ragging on people who write it, it's just not something I'm interested in.

For keeping young Spike out of this.
There are WAY too many disturbing stories out there of poor Spike being introduced to adult subject material. Keep the poor baby dragon out of it!

What I'm curious about now, is how you're going to age Spike enough to have some "fun" without Rarity looking like Granny Smith. I mean, think about how slow that guy ages!
