On a more serious note, there was a lot a bad news that came my way at the start of the new year. Some of it was handled then, the rest of it has been spent playing the waiting game. Well, this week some of it came into fruition, and I've been spending a good deal of my time trying to provide my family moral support to get through it. (Thousand miles away means a lot of long phone calls.) The afore mentioned coupled with the fact I've worked, literally every day since Christmas has me a bit wore out at the moment. And unfortunately I'm unable to take any time off from work to be there in a more engaging role.
I don't know that there's any reason to delve into any specifics as to what's happening in my personal life, but I felt it necessary to at least say 'hey I got some stuff going on'. Not because I wish to gush over the internet, but I wanted to let you all know as "followers" (I don't like that term) friends here, that updates for Fancy Mathematics and my other stories are behind schedule and will be slow for at least a couple weeks it seems.
Also, I have some ideas jotted down for a couple of short one shots, just to give you guys a little something to look forward to. Those may be coming your way in short(ish) order as well. They're both heartwarming little tails. One will be called Ink On The Page and will feature Twilight. The other is to be called My Very First Friend and the character will be a mystery that will be revealed in the story. No it's not an OC, it's a character from the show, so just put that thought out of your head right now.

812104 813067 Thanks. Yes, life definitely has a way of getting in your face and saying "oh hi there, remember me?" in the most annoying way possible sometimes. For some reason, January and February seem to be particularly popular times for 'life' to happen in my family.

813158 That actually made me laugh. I agree though, your friends and family will get you through. I've always been the "stable" one that people lean on, (damn me for being level headed) but a good support network can get you through anything.

And don't worry, I think you're safe from any flammable lemons. Everything that's happened has been outside anyone's control, unless you have any omnipotent powers you haven't told anyone about.
