Random Thought of the Day. Cheers! · 8:28pm Feb 9th, 2013
I was talking with my literaturally-savvy friend the other day, and he brought up a term that I was familiar with, but had never actually used myself: plot complications. A literature device used in fiction to contribute to the conflict in said story, to make the reader/watcher sit on the edge of their seat, to add to the overall quality of the work in question.
I wasn't thinking about that, you see. This community has poisoned my mind, you see. The mundane words passing in a conversation now have entirely new meaning for me.
In the real world, a plot complication is used to enrich the storyline . . . in our world . . . it's an STD.
Ba dum tss.
