For four pony visitors to Earth, practically everything is new and overwhelming, including food: not only in the wide variety of foods available for delivery, but how do you eat them with hooves?

Things in bowls are easy to figure out, but how should a pizza be approached? Is it, in fact, a flat breadbowl, a combination of soup and fondue held in by the crust?

Story was almost cancelled, but then I realised that I still wanted to keep writing just a little further.
Just some forewarning though. This story is not for everyone. It is a slow-burn slice-of-life which lacks much serious threat. There is no big villain, and the storyline progresses quite slowly and you may get bored.
I am still new-ish to writing, so the writing quality (especially surrounding characters and dialogue) may leave something to be desired.

A story about someone with limited knowledge of the show, (basic facts on a small scale, no timeline stuff) wakes up as an alicorn (early-teen) in Canterlot. He is not happy about this fact.

General info:
No, they do not have OP alicorn powers. Yes, they are sort-of a foal, but not of baby age and this will not affect their personality or emotional-capacity in any way.
Gender swapping? No, I asked in the comments, people want a male alicorn.
Will this impact my other story (Clouds)? Probably, depends on if people want me to continue it or not.

While playing the Equestrian version of Jenga with Eric Reed, Starlight Glimmer found herself facing seemingly imminent defeat. However, as a pony with a devious streak that rarely minds "bending" the rules, she chose to use her magic in unfair ways as a last resort. Obviously, she was met with objections from Eric.

But unluckily for Starlight, she forgot her human opponent knew how unicorn magic works quite well...

This story is one of a series of stories that all take place after A Giant Adventure to Equestria. However, it is not necessary to read any of them to understand this story, but "A Giant Adventure to Equestria" does show how and why the human OC Eric Reed is in Equestria and how his bond with Starlight formed.

If you enjoy this story and would be interested in reading any of the other stories with Eric, you can find the list of all current ones here.

EDIT on 08/26/22: Now has an audio hearing by The Mystery Fluttershy Fan!

This story is a sequel to Jury Duty II: Jury Harder

Technically, the good news would be that the paperwork for Chrysalis' current disguise is so perfect, that cover identity can be summoned for jury duty. It's not just any changeling who can manage such a feat! Really, when you think about it, being called to serve on a trial would require a mistress of the art! And surely an entity who used to rule over her hive (and will get it all back and more, just you wait!) can deal with a simple matter of dealing out vengeance!

...justice?
...what? It's not as if there's any real difference.

(While this story is listed as a sequel, its only real connection to the previous tale is in theme, and so it can be read as a stand-alone.)

Meteors fall. There's a blaze of fire across the sky, a moment of impact and since everypony was lucky, nopony was hurt. It means there's a meteor embedded into the soil of the Acres and for just about everywhere else in Equestria, that zero-injuries landing would pretty much be the end of it.

But it's Ponyville. And for Applejack, the meteor was the easy part.

The attached documents are currently pending investigation from the Solar Corporation’s Risk Management Team.

The following documents were taken from the employee email communication servers and the AMIS Hard Drive post-incident, with personal notes filed under “private”.

Please note that the AMIS system should not have a “private” section of its hard drive. This security oversight is also under investigation.

Back in Equestria, the spring equinox is a hard line, the last day of snow, winter is over, full stop.

On Earth, that’s not exactly the case. The equinox might have come and gone, the clocks might have been set to a summer schedule, it might be April and still snowing in Missouri.

Somewhere in the multiverse, there is a bar. It's small—the kind-of a hole-in-the wall place which you might find open late at night while walking down the streets of Canterlot City in the 1920's.

But unlike most bars, this one is not actually there… or rather, not where you think it is.

The entrance to Sunset's Isekai will be found in passing; an archway made of stone, emerging from a wall that you could have sworn had nothing there before, and in fact seems impossible to actually lead anywhere.

There, a door of solid oak—lovingly worked and stained to look almost golden-red—with a thick, crystal version of Sunset's cutie mark at eye level awaits visitors under the soft light of a gas lamp.

This door opens to all worlds, and can only be found by those that need that drink to be just the right type of different.

Note: This fic is best read like nursing your drink - Don't rush it. Enjoy each flavor for what it is. Don't mix it all up by reading it one chapter after the other in one sitting. It's intended to (mostly) work in a way that each chapter can be read without having to tackle through the rest of the story. (Also, for the last time, the concept for this is NOT based on Restaurant to Another World or any anime.)

The Kingdom of Louisianne and the World Seafarer's Union are cooperating in exploring and connecting any ones pony groups to be found at former major cities. This is about the first of the new riverboats, the Mississippi Voyager, its captain and crew, and what can be found along the rivers of inland America. What will Captain Crane and his mixed crew find along the way? Come on aboard! We got room for passengers! (We got a great cook, too!)

Sequel to my Tidalverse: The Fearsome Foursome, which is itself a sequel to Along New Tides. Both of them originate from Starscribe's Ponies After People, a seminal work well worth reading. ALL of them.
