This story was heavily inspired by Akula966's Burnout Equestrian Paradise story, I recommend you read all of the current chapters, especially chapter 9!
In the last mile of a race, Rainbow Dash, in a light-blue Jansen P12 was side-by-side with a red Rossolini Tempesta, plioted by her friend and known as the ‘British Speedfreak’, DangerDean. They had been from the Observatory to the Naval Yard and their finishing point, the Wild Cats Baseball. Their doors were too close to each other, But Rainbow Dash didn’t want to end his race and most importantly, her own. If she crashed into him at the closing stages, she, along with Danger, would end up in a scrap metal sandwich. The race ended but the two arrived at exactly the same moment. So they decided to call it a tie. They both parked outside the stadium, in deep sighs of relief.
“I’m glad that massive race is over now, I’m looking forward to doing this again one day.” Rainbow said, lying on the bonnet of her Jansen. “Yeah.” Danger agreed. “Very much so, but that time... We might switch cars."
“I agree, we can’t use the same cars all the time, it would get lame otherwise. Rainbow agreed in her own body langauge. “Shall we go for a gentle cruise through the centre of the city?” Danger then asked her. Rainbow thought about it for a moment. “Sure, why not?”
The two got back into the cars and went to cruise mode for the rest of the day. They decided to go onto the interstate to test their cars top speeds before going to Lone Stallion Ranch for a rest, until...
Danger saw a car travelling on the interstate that had a familiar feeling. He then accelerated a bit to take a closer look. It was a clear-view version of a Krieger Überschall 8 and he thought to himself, “What is it doing here? I better doing something.”
He then switched lanes to try to overtake it, but instead of doing a clean pass, he managed to clip the front of the Überschall with the rear-right tyre of his Tempesta, sending the Überschall into a concrete wall. He then sighed in relief and then after a couple of hours, they turned off the interstate and headed towards Lone Stallion Ranch. They parked outside the junkyard and headed inside for a long, well-earned rest.
The next day, Rainbow was heading back towards her Jansen when noticed the Überschall parked next to her. Then she heard a angry voice shouting: “DANGER!!!” as soon as Danger was getting into his Tempesta. “Err... Danger?” Danger heard her talk before he closed his scissor door. “Yes, Dashie?” He responded because he thinks he heard his name called out, He joined Rainbow and waiting for him was the driver of the Überschall 8, a female unicorn with a complete black clothing and a black helmet on her head. She reconized one of the two pegasi, the one with the lightning bolt and a guitar shaped in a ‘X’ for a cutie mark.
“Who... In the name of Celestia… are you?” Danger spoke, not knowing what she may say next. He, along with Rainbow, are two of the seven ponies she detested so much, the other five being the rest of mane 6. She is called... Oscura Galaxia.
“YOU... IMCOMPETENT, ILL-MINDED, STUPID PEGASI OF A DRIVER!”
Danger was lost for words. He took two short breaths, and then he responded to her. “Look, before you burst into a rage, I...” Before he could finish, Oscura fired back at him. “DON’T TRY AND MAKE UP ONE OF YOUR PATHETIC EXCUSES, YOU DESTROYED MY CAR!” She was completely angry with Danger. Rainbow, wondering what in Celestia looked at her Überschall for a moment, “Ooooook.” Shee thought to himself as he noticed the amount of damage. "I'm gonna assume she didn't go through a repair shop after she crashed into a wall on the interstate yesterday. Meanwhile, Oscura was still infuriated by Danger, “SPEAK UP, NOW!” Oscura demanded, he didn’t answer because he was too busy looking at Rainbow.
This caused Oscura to lose her patience, she pulled out a Desert Eagle pistol and point it at Danger’s head. “I SAID, SPEAK UP, NOW! YOU HAVE TEN SECONDS!” She demanded a second time. But before Danger could speak, he heard a voice saying: “Drop that gun, Oscura!”
Danger turned to see who made that voice and saw a light-pink racing edition of the Carson 500 GT parked next to the Überschall. He noticed it was another one of his friends, Starlight Glimmer. “Starlight... Wha... What are you doing here?” Danger exclaimed. Starlight approached him as Oscura was prepared to fire the Desert Eagle at his head. “Oscura?” But she was at breaking point. “SHUT UP!!!” She demanded. Normally, ponies would stop aggrivating Oscura’s anger. But, Starlight refused her demand. “Oscura, I mean it!, if you fire that gun... You will be teleported to Equestria and you will be locked in Tartarus for the rest of your life, and you will kill the British Speedfreak himself.”
Danger’s heart was thumping at the speed of the light. “Wait, she knows my nickname? That’s pretty scary! I mean, she’s one my friends so I can’t really blame her for standing up for herself.” He thought as he heard the words that came out of Starlight’s mouth. “I want to you know this, Oscura. That Danger is my friend and I don’t want to see him hurt in any way, shape or form. I swear to Celestia, that if you lay a hoof on him, I will destroy your car.” She added.
Rainbow looked confused as she is Danger’s friend as well. But Danger is the sort of pony to become friends with anyone. “So put that gun down, and leave the junkyard, please.” She asked Oscura, with a small tear rolling down her eye. She put into the gun into the her car and she turned towards Danger. “YOU ARE MY NEMESIS, I WILL LET YOU GET AWAY WITH THIS ONCE. IF YOU SCRATCH MY CAR AGAIN, I WILL... DESTROY YOU... AND YOUR STUPID FRIEND, RAINBOW CRASH TOO!”
Rainbow heard her say that nickname the Wonderbolts gave her, she wanted to tell her off but Danger advised her not to.
“And on that day, I will be waiting for the first wave.” He said. Oscura then got into her car and then drove off.
Danger’s heart was still beating because of what Oscura said to her eariler. He groaned as Rainbow approached him with a hoof touching one of his wings.
“She called you, Rainbow Crash! I dread to think what she’ll call me.” Danger spoke with a sense of defeat in his voice. “Ah, don’t worry about that, Danger.” Rainbow reassured him. “I got that nickname when I joined the Wonderbolts for the first time.” Starlight had something to say. “I think she may be challenging other racers in Paradise City. Not many have won against her as she is a fierce opponent. I raced against her yesterday, and I won, so she may screw up at any point of the race. It’s rare that she does this as she is one of the ultimate drivers in Paradise City.”
“I’m one of those drivers, Starlight. But I will say this: I never raced against her and judging by the fact she has a Uberschall 8 and I have a Tempesta, I think the odds are heavily in her favour. ” Danger claimed as he listened to Starlight’s upcoming plan. “Well, Danger. She has about twice your skill and about three times your cunning.” Starlight responded. “There is also only three of us and we don’t know what she may throw at us. I mean, she could bring in more of her own friends to tear our cars apart.” Danger had a thought. “Yeah, I agree with this because there may be a lot we don’t know about Oscura.”
Rainbow was rubbing her hooves together. “Sounds like a plan.” Starlight and Danger agreed and the three headed out of Lone Stallion Ranch towards the city.
It’s only been a few minutes since Danger and Rainbow first encountered Oscura, and with the intervention of Starlight while Danger was been held at gunpoint for about two minutes, but to him, it felt like ages, Danger felt more relaxed. But then, out of nowhere, he was starting to have flashbacks to when he first encountered her. “I regret been held at gunpoint by Oscura, but the real question is: how did I get in the middle of this?” He thought as he, Rainbow and Starlight headed towards the center of the city as Rainbow was leading the convoy because an idea struck her.
The idea was to get more racers on their side just in case of a rampage led by Oscura. As they were apporaching the western portion of the city, Danger notices a golden Kriger Racing WRT cruising, A though came to his mind. “Conisdering I don’t want to piss off anyone else, I don’t think I should make Grogar’s life a misery today.” So the three left the F1 car to it.
But then, Rainbow decided to pull over, for some reason, Danger and Starlight then followed suit. All three of them got out of their cars. Something seemed fishy to Rainbow Dash.
“Danger?” Rainbow asked him. “What’s on your mind, Dash?” Danger responded, thinking he may have spotted a trap unbeknown to Rainbow Dash. “Wasn’t that... Grogar we just saw a few seconds ago?” Danger nodded. Starlight then decided they should get back on the road, searching for more allies.
But as soon they got back into their cars,
The roar of three echoed the streets
Danger decided to bring out his customized Scorpion EVO III to see who was coming, but they were coming towards 3rd Street which, concidently was the same street the heroes were parked. Two hundred milliseconds later, Danger’s jaw eventually dropped to the floor.
Approaching towards them was a blue Carson GT Concept, a dark green Hunter Spur and a Rossolini LM Classic in pearlescent purple and they parked about eight feet away from the front of Rainbow’s P12.
Danger was lost for words from what happened in the two seconds that elapsed . “Er... Dash?” Danger said as he tried to put the Scropion in the front of the car because he couldn’t put inside the back as his Tempesta was mid-engined. One of Danger’s classic mistakes. All three driver doors opened and revealed not a familar face in Starlight’s view. But to Rainbow, an old rivalry which started back in Equestria. In Danger’s mind, one of them, he previously raced before he and Rainbow encountered Oscura.
It turns out... a ponified version of the Dazzlings somehow, with the Elite licenses, are in Paradise City. Danger quickly reconized one of them, as they were approaching to the red Tempesta. “Hi, Danger!” greeted one of them, preferably the one driving the Hunter Spur. “Now, how long will it be before they hypnotise the three of us.” Danger thought as he noticed that it was none other than Aria Blaze who was greeting him. Aria was looking worried over him as Danger descended into a dimensional thought of him and Oscura battling on the streets of Paradise City. “Er... Danger?” Aria spoke as she tried to bring him back to the ground.
Danger shook his head multiple times to get rid of the Oscura phantom out of his mind. The next time he blinked, Aria was waiting for him. “Oh sorry, Aria! I was completely inside a world of my own with some crazy pony.” He answered to Aria.
She understood what he said and turned to other two Dazzlings: Adagio and Sonata. “Do you mind?! I’m trying to have a conversation with Danger here right now!” Aria demanded as Sonata was giggling about something, probably to the fact that Danger gave a facial expression when he dove into his fantasy. Meanwhile, Adagio hoofpalmed by Sonata’s recent actvity and got so mad, so mad, in fact, she got into her LM Classic and drove off. Sonata realised this and got into GT Concept in mid-laughter and chased after her.
Danger was confused. “Aria, is she always like that?” He asked Aria, while was looking at the two cars on the horizon. “Don’t mind them, I’m not ‘really’ on their side.” Aria, responded after she faced Danger again. “Because I saw a LMP-style car approaching towards me last week and it crashed into all three of cars and we wondered, what in Celestia’s name did we do to anger her.”
Danger was interested in Aria’s problem with Oscura. “I think I know who was driving that Überschall that day.” Aria was slightly shocked by the fact he knows who it was. “You mean...” Aria realised as Danger knew the name of who attacked the rest of three. “She’s called, Oscura Galaxia.” He also nodded.
Rainbow, meanwhile, was wondering what all the talking was going on. She then got out of her P12 and noticed Aria talking to Danger. “You two know each other?” She asked Danger, wanting to what was going on. Danger wanted to speak, but Aria beaten him to it. “Oh, we previously raced each other, before you showed up.” Aria replied, stealing Danger’s thunder in the process. “So you have nothing to worry about.”
Rainbow looked confused.
Danger had an idea, “Do you want to join our team, Aria?” He offered to her. “Sure, why not! It gives me a break from those two idiots.” Aria accepted the invitation and with them getting into their cars and drove out of 3rd Street and headed left. But then, Danger, in the span of a few seconds, noticed the Überschall again, and he clipped the Überschall and sent it into parked cars and somasulting. Danger thought to himself: “Ah, yes! Our first catch of the day!”
But then, Oscura was at breaking point. “NO NO, NO, NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” she screamed as once again, her Überschall was destroyed by the British Speedfreak himself: DangerDean. “I HATE YOU, DANGER! I... HATE... YOU!” she also screamed in her own rage,
Imagine Oscura’s eyes burning in bright red flames because that’s when you know Danger did a good job of pissing off Oscura.
Chapter 3 - The Search for Allies Part II (The First Wave Begins)
After Danger’s second success of the ‘How to piss off Oscura’ saga, the convoy continues their search for more of their friends. Danger felt more relaxed this time as he already made Oscura’s life a living hell, twice. So with Rainbow leading the convoy consisting of her friends: Danger, Starlight and Aria who recently joined. Danger saw two familar car parked on the side of road outside the Wild Cats Baseball stadium: A white Carson Marais and a pink Montgomery Hyperion. Rainbow decided to park behind the Hyperion, Danger and the rest parked on the same street and when she got out of the P12...
Pinkie, being the most craziest racer of Burnout Paradise, was her usual self when one of her friends turns up. “DASHIE!!!!” Pinkie exclaimed as she turned and tightly hugged Rainbow. Danger, having witnessed this, was a bit surprised. “If I got hugged by Pinkie right now, I’d be asking for oxygen from Nurse Redheart in the first second.” Danger sighed as he was having a solioquy of Pinkie. “Pinkie just will neveeer change, will she?”. Rarity was quite responsive to Pinkie hugging Rainbow to death.
“Pinkie?” She asked Pinkie, thinking that’s quite enough. “Don’t overdo it, darling. You don’t want to Rainbow to be cramped the next day, do we.” She lightly pulled Pinkie away from Rainbow, but she was having none of Rarity’s advice to Pinkie. “Relax, girls. I’ll heal easily. As I’m dangerous.” But then heard Danger shouting because he had his window down. “THAT’S MY NAME YOU KNOW, DASH!” Rarity heard his comment and raised her eyebrows in a ‘why did he do that’ expression.
“Don’t mind him, Rarity. He always like that, with his nemesis, Oscura.” Rainbow stated as she wanted Rarity to know this, but that comment just ticked off Danger slightly. “CAN I MAKE IT CLEAR THAT I CAN STILL HEAR YA?!” he exclaimed in his own style of a Royal Canterlot Voice.
Aria heard Danger comment as well, despite being the last one parked. “Danger, Danger never changes, does he?” She thought as Starlight hoofpalmed.
Rainbow then decided to return to the topic at hand.
“So girls, do you want to help Danger with his Oscura problems, we need all the help we can get.” She asked Rarity and Pinkie. “OK!” Pinkie accepted instantly. Rarity took a little longer, as you would expect from somepony who has a fashion business. “Sure, why not!” Rarity also accepted.
A few seconds later, Pinkie shotgunned back to her car after Rainbow and Rarity shook hooves. After they got into their cars, Aria led the convoy towards the Observatory for some preparations if Oscura does strike. A couple of minutes later, on a junction just north of the Naval Yard, Danger decided to lead the convoy, upon doing so, the Überschall was cruising towards Lone Stallion Ranch.
But then...
Danger didn’t see the Überschall coming and his Tempesta sideswiped Oscura into parked cars, again. Danger’s Tempesta had taken a battering from the crash but he was alright and his Tempesta was still driveable. “Won’t be doing that move again in the future,” he thought to himself having Rainbow Dash overtaken him after the crash.
Meanwhile, Oscura was totally, totally, angry by this. Tears of rage was flowing down her cheeks. “WHAT ARE THE ODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDS! EVERY TIME! EVERY TIME I HAVE A NICE DRIVE ON PARADISE CITY, I GET MY CAR WRECKED BY DANGER! WHY!!!!!!! YOU STUPID PEGASI! I GONNA KILL YOU, THEN I’LL RESURRECT YOU THEN I’LL KILL YOU AGAIN. THEN, I’LL SUMMON THE LEGION OF DOOM, WISH YOU BACK AND KILL YOU THRICE. THEN I’LL FIND YOUR SOUL IN THE AFTERLIFE, KILL IT AND COMEBACK TO DANCE ON THE ASHES OF YOUR CREMATION! BY NUKE, FOLLOWED BY A PLANET CRASHING TO EARTH, THEN TO FINISH IT OFF, A LASER THAT WILL DESTROY EVERYTHING IN THIS DAMN PLANET! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”
Afterwards, Danger found a repair shop drivethrough and was back to having a fully repaired car again. Rainbow was a bit concerned over the crash Danger had with Oscura. She pulled over on the one of the shortcuts of the Naval Yard. The rest were all concerned over Danger so they joined Rainbow and stopped their cars.
Rainbow open her door and headed towards Danger’s Tempesta, looking quite concerned because she wouldn’t see her favourite pegasi in the universe, wounded or even worse, dead, which is what Oscura would have wanted. “Danger?” Rainbow asked him while he wiped his brow. “Yeah, what is it?” he replied as Rainbow sighed. She could tell that Danger was OK. “That Überschall completely came out of left field. I mean, what in Celestia’s name would she...”
But before Danger could finish, he heard the roar of a light green Hunter Civilian,
Rainbow quickly reconized the driver of the Civilan. “It’s CHRYSALIS.” Danger looked and his mouth went agape.
The Civilan locked up and slid in a 180˚ turn and parked about three feet away from Aria’s Hunter Spur. Chrysalis had a facial expression akin to Oscura on the first time Danger and Rainbow encounted her back in Lone Stallion Ranch.
“YOU...”
“YOU...”
Danger thought to himself. “Is she going to say what I think she is?” A few seconds later, Danger was correct.
“TOTAL IMBECILE OF A PEGASI!” Chrysalis bellowed out.
Danger knew that something bad was going to happen after Chrysalis called him a stupid pegasi. “I fully resent that comment, Chrysalis,” he thought as he didn’t to Chrysalis to hear, he then decided to dash straight for his Tempesta and sped of into the distance with his friends following suit.
Chrysalis was lit with rage, so much in fact, that she decided to follow wherever Danger was going. But she was not alone. Four grey, matte, heavily modified Hunter Civilians, driven by her loyal changeling subjects were also in hot pursuit.
Meanwhile, Aria decided to speak to Danger about what Chrysalis was going to do after she destroyed the heroes’ cars. “Danger?” She asked him, after pressing a button on the radio to communicate with her friends. “What’s on your mind, Aria?” Danger responded. “Something’s just occurred to me,” Aria said after she was shocked about seeing Chrysalis.
Danger was concerned. “What’s that, Aria?”
Aria was ready to explain. “Did you know that she is planning to make a film about her pursuit against us? Well, she doing this to destroy our cars and put it all on flim when she takes us prisoner and show it to her subjects.” Danger wasn’t really interested in what Chrysalis was planning. “If it gets premiered, I don’t will be buying any tickets.” Aria chuckled upon hearing Danger’s comment. “And do you know what she’ll do to us afterwards?” She continued.
“I dread to think, but carry on.” Danger didn’t like the look of the situation. “She will drain us of our love!” Aria finished, worried over her love being drained but, knowing Danger, Aria thought he’ll make a remark so crazy that she will laugh in return. She was right. “She shouldn’t bother with me, there’s barely a snack in the Tempesta, Aria,” Danger spoke. Aria bursts out laughing after a moment. “You do make me laugh, Danger” She said after sighed, post-laughter. “It’s basically my job.” Danger responded.
Rainbow then spotted something coming on the intersection, she gasped at she saw, a grey Hunter Civilian was approaching to towards her, ready to sideswipe her P12, similar to what happened to Oscura and Danger.
She slammed to brakes to avoid collision and the Civilian drifted at a 170˚ angle towards the front of Rainbow’s P12. It was a changeling. A flashback of Cadence and Shining Armour’s wedding suddenly came to her mind as she and the rest of the mane 6 were battling against Chrysalis’ forces, back in Equestria.
Danger then saw the changeling but he didn’t applied the brakes, instead, he crashed, head-on, into the front of the changeling’s Civilian, causing it to barrel-roll multiple times before coming to rest on it’s side after it was t-boned to the passenger’s side by a parked civilian pick-up truck.
Danger just a bit of damage from the crash but was satisified by what he had done. “Ladies and gentlecolts, we got’em,” he thought as they were apporaching Lone Stallion Ranch.
But before he could rest, two more Hunter Civilians were slipstreaming Starlight and Aria, the two changeling were about 10 feet away from the rear of the cars.
Aria knew she was in trouble because of the Hunter Civilian that is now about two feet from the left side of her Hunter Spur. “Danger, I’ve got one at three o’clock.” Aria said to Danger as she tried to shake the Civilian off. “Don’t worry, Aria! I’ve got this.” Danger replied as knew she had company so he break-tested the changeling, caused it to crash head-on towards a wall.
Aria sighed in relief afterwards. “Thanks, Danger. You are the best.” She said to herself as the convoy headed towards the windfarm after passing a repair shop on the way, because Danger, Starlight and Aria picked up damage from the skirmish. For a moment, they all felt safe.
But that, was only a pause.
The last of the four changelings Chrysalis sent to destroy the heroes’ cars created a road block of just itself and nothing else. Before Danger could say anything, Rarity, who had the toughest car in the team, t-boned the changeling, resulting in a rollover and one of the wheels breaking off.
Danger thought to himself afterwards, “That was a close one.”
Rainbow thought they all need a rest after their encounter with the changelings, so she told everyone to return to Lone Stallion Ranch.
After the heroes u-turned towards the garage, a familiar car was on the same road. Danger saw it and he knew it, Oscura.
Danger accelarated towards the Überschall and pitted Oscura and to his surprise, Oscura didn’t crash into any cars, instead... she pitted Danger into a wall. Danger felt the impact. “I knew she would come back to bite me.” Afterwards, Oscura quickly got out of her car and she opened the door of his Tempesta and dragged Danger out and pinned him to the floor.
“WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING!” Oscura yelled at Danger as he tried to get up but she put her front hooves on Danger’s wings. “Oscura, please get off me?” Danger begged but Oscura didn’t oblige. “NEVER!” she spoke, venomously, with tears rolling down her eyes, but suddenly, her irises turned red from her normal purple eyes. “YOU SHALL PAY DEARLY FOR WHAT YOU DID TO ME, DEARLY, YOU HEAR ME.” Danger wondered where the nearest headphones were.
But he heard a Royal Canterlot voice, “LET HIM GO”, he turned his eyes towards where it was coming from, and it was a purple Hunter Mestique, driven by, another one of his friends, Princess Twilight Sparkle. She approached towards Oscura and used her magic to pull Oscura away from Danger. She then grabbed Danger’s hoof and they both hugged.
Danger wanted to speak but Twilight advised him to talk later and she didn’t want Oscura to hear.
Luckily, Danger’s Tempesta wasn’t wrecked so he proceeded to the Junkyard in Lone Stallion Ranch with Twilight following him.
Oscura was beyond breaking point with her temper. “YOU WILL NEVER GET AWAY THIS, DANGER. I WILL KILL ALL OF FRIENDS, INCLUDING YOU!” she yelled and her voice echoed.
As Twilight and Danger headed towards the junkyard, Pinkie was checking for any damage on her Hyperion from their encounter with Chrysalis but she found no dents so far. Rainbow wondered where Danger was, so she headed towards Starlight where she was tuning the radio in her car.
“Starlight, can I ask you something?” Rainbow asked her, as she was finished. “Sure, Rainbow. What is it?” Starlight replied, knowing that something was wrong with Danger. “Where’s Danger, have you seen him anywhere?” Rainbow spoke with a hint of worry. “’Cause I think he may have got lost or... Or...” Rainbow then broke into a small tear, when a few seconds later, something brought Aria’s attention for a moment. “Err... Girls?” Aria announced as he heard the roar of four cars. The roars of Danger’s Tempesta, Twilight’s Mestique and Sonata’s GT Concept in the span of a few seconds. Following them was the Überschall 8. Rainbow was relieved to see the Tempesta coming so she knows that Danger didn’t get killed by Oscura. But what she didn’t know was Oscura was chasing after Danger.
The four cars parked outside the junkyard, and when they got out, Twilight had something to say. “OK, everypony, I have to something to speak to you all about.” Upon hearing what Twilight said, Aria was wanting to know what happened to Danger. “What’s that, Twilight.” Twilight took a deep breath and before she could speak, Oscura butted in. “You are total idiots, ALL OF YOU!” Danger was ready to step in to defend his friends. “Look, Oscura. You totally didn’t see me coming towards you, but I never saw you blistering to me at mach four and putting me to the ground and standing on my wings for about a minute!” Danger was showing his true colours. “We were recovering from an attack from Chrysalis and you being a total jerk and crashing my Tempesta is all we needed!” Danger continued as his voice turned into rage.
But then, Rainbow then heard a roar of a car and it was approaching to the junkyard.
“Err... Danger?” Rainbow spoke, trying to get his attention. “Wait, what.” Danger realised as he shook his head after about a millisecond as a black Carson Annihilator Phoenix was doing doughnuts at the entrance. When it had finished, the Annihilator did a drift tap on Oscura’s Überschall 8. She didn’t like that one bit. “HEY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!” she boomed as the Annihilator sped of into the distance. She then turned around to face Danger but he had already gone.
“Whew, that was close.” Danger thought as he followed the Annihilator, while Oscura screamed, Danger decided to get into his Tempesta while the smoke from the Annihilator caused it to be hidden from Oscura’s view.
Danger got a close-up view of whoever was driving the Annihilator, he then noticed a red and light yellow mane was waving inside the car. Danger realised who it was. “That’s... That’s Sunset Shimmer!” he thought.
Sunset knew that she was being chased by Danger, so she decided to pull over ahead at the entrance of the stock car dirt track.
“That was pretty epic, Sunset!” Danger complimented to Sunset as he got out of his Tempesta. Sunset looked at bit supicious with what Oscura happened to him, judging the couple of bent feathers on his wings.
“I heard what she did to you, Danger. She is not a nice pony. She is more evil than my human demonic counterpart.” Danger wasn’t surprised at Sunset’s comment about Oscura. “No shit, Sunset!” He thought in misbelief. “Well if she comes back with a vengeance, either you, Aria, Rainbow, Twilight, Starlight and the rest would be a likely target.” He then pointed out.
Danger knew that Oscura will plan her revenge on him and his friends any minute, the clock is ticking and the fate of Paradise City lies in his brain, waiting for her endgame.
Meanwhile, Starlight was wondering where in Celestia’s name did Danger escaped to. She didn’t know herself, so she asked Aria for any answers. “Aria, where did Danger scarpered to?” Aria was telepathically memorising every move he made. “He just outside the Dirt Racing Track. He also safe and he’s with Sunset. That was enough to satisfiy Starlight. “OK, then. Let’s go.” Starlight, Aria and the rest of the heroes headed towards Danger and Sunset.
However, Oscura had driven to the marina to gather her thoughts on the ponies she hated, most specificly Danger. “Why does he do this? I wanted him to know that I’m the ultimate racer of this city!” She said as tears dripped like a tap. “He’s making me very... ANGRY!!” She bellowed and at the same time, the sky was turning to a different colour, from a yellow sunset, to a near midnight blue. “This is my showtime! Danger, your time in Paradise City... Has come... To an end!” She then concluded.
