When an anonymous man entered the pony world, ponies started going missing. Can Frisk uncover the mystery?
One day, Frisk got the news of a pony going missing. Since then, more and more similar cases have popped up. In fact, someone entered the pony world and started a genocide spree.
Being the pacifist she is, Frisk uncovers the mystery with her friends before the murderer can kill them. However, as more evidence was revealed, they all connected to a specific person. Someone who used to be Frisk's best friend. Will she teach him a lesson, or will she show mercy?
Everything was just fine in the pony world. The dawn of another great day. No weird dreams, no war, nothing bad. Just a bright sunny day outside and the vain of sunlight shone into Frisk's room in the castle. She stretched herself as she woke up when the light shone on her eyes.
'Another fine day for fun,' She thought.
She got up, did the usual stuff in her morning routine, and time to start the day.
Asriel ran into her. 'Oh, hi Frisk, having a good day so far?'
'Of course, sweetheart.' She replied.
After Twilight decided to date Nathan, Frisk decided to find someone else to be with when her friend is out. Then came a very obvious answer: She picked her brother. Although they have already been siblings for a long time, they decided they knew each other enough to the point that they can be a couple. But, Twilight still remains as her best friend.
So now we have two couples in this world!
'You know, it's certainly been a while since the war ended. Nothing has changed much when you were resting,' Asriel said.
Frisk smiled. 'Well, our adventures have been fun, but it's nice to have this break we had for a while now.'
Her brother patted her head. 'I agree, we had such an exciting journey through the years.'
As they were talking, Jessica came over.
'Hey guys, we're about to record another episode for a minigame in Minecraft, and we need one more person to join in, interested?' She asked.
'Alright, I haven't been recording for our main channel for quite some time, I'll join in.' Frisk answered. 'See you later, Asriel.'
'Talk to you later,' He giggled, blowing Frisk a kiss.
A while ago, the gamers told Frisk and her friends about the career they are doing on YouTube and asked if they were interested. Seeing that their adventures are probably come to a halt or even come to an end, all of them thought it was a cool idea to try out. But, that's a story for another day!
While Frisk thought her adventures have been put to rest, something she didn't know was happening through Equestria.
Through the town of Canterlot, an unknown person came to this world through the portal. He seemed fairly normal, just a human, like all the other visitors going around the place. However, behind his innocent look, is the true face of a genocidal killer.
At night, Twilight's old friends were having a little party at Moon Dancer's home. But what they didn't know, is that someone is about to come in and take their lives. As the party went on, there was a sudden crash from behind the house. Everypony was confused to what happened.
'I'll go and take a look at what happened,' Lemon Hearts said, walking towards the back door.
As she went out, she saw nothing. However, she did hear sounds from the bushes and checked them one by one. Then, someone tapped her on the back.
'It's kill... Or be killed.' The man said.
She turned around. 'Huh? What the- Ahhh!' She let out a deafening scream. The man used his blade and stabbed right into her heart.
'Alright. One down, three more to go here. Then, next destination.' He muttered. 'Disguise spell initiating...'
As soon as she heard the scream, Minuette came over.
'What's going on?' She asked.
As she said that, Lemon Hearts got up.
'No, nothing happened. I'm fine, it's just... something weird with me today.' She explained.
Minuette felt her answer was a bit odd. 'Oh well, let's head back then.'
When they were back at the party, it continued for a good thirty minutes, and Lemon Hearts was a bit distant from the others.
'What's up with you today?' Moon Dancer asked.
But she started laughing. '(Laughs) Wow, you guys totally fell for that one.'
As soon she said that she started to beat up the other four. They were all scared. In a little while, two of them were down.
'What is wrong with you!?' Lyra was horrified.
With her hoof, Lemon Hearts threw one of her daggers at Lyra, right in the heart. Then, she went over to Moon Dancer.
'Are you okay? What in Equestria has gotten into you!?' She shouted.
'(Evil laugh) I'm not Lemon Hearts... You fools fell for that one so easily!' The spell wore off and revealed the murderer.
'What the... Who are you!?'
The man laughed again. 'Why would I tell you... when you're about to die?'
And again, she stabbed her blade into her heart.
'Excellent. Now, grab the souls.' He thought. Grabbing the souls with his magic, he put them inside heart canisters, then put them all into a bigger container, with the label saying 'Canterlot'. It contained countless souls from the past ponies he murdered in this place. He then carefully put the large container into what looks like an infinite storage box, red in color (For those of you who play Minecraft, it's a shulker box). He picked the box up and shrunk it down as he put it into his pockets.
'Canterlot is done. Let's see where I have left...' He said as he checked off the checkbox for the town.
'Okay, let me see: Manehattan, Baltimare, Cloudsdale, Fillydelphia, Applelosa... And a lot more places. I'm gonna go and take this revenge.' He took his weapons back and used a spell to make the bodies disappear as he walked out.
In fact, this man has been a serial killer across all of Equestria. As this crime continued on, more and more ponies were reported missing. This went on the news when it got so serious that no one can hide it anymore. As he continued his genocide, he always sang a song as he went.
'Friendship and love, it sounds really great, But I have my own ways... I've become the demon of death, And made Everypony dead!
Kill them all, slay everypony! Each Stallion and mare! Genocide's my only goal... Destruction is my plan!
It's kill, or be killed in this world, There's no other way... Everyone falls into my hands, I'll change how her story ends...
She thinks that she's something special, But in reality... She's no more than a normal girl, While I'm the exception...
Look at her, being a legend, But to me, she's not... I will make Everypony fall, And she will meet her demise...
Why become a true pacifist, When you have the strength... To be a pure-blooded killer, And I will not stop... Until she falls... With my soul of... DETERMINATION!
As he stepped closer to his last destination, he just finished humming the tune, and thought to himself:
'Do you think you can stop me, Frisk? Well, we shall see.'
One day, the gamers just finished another video with the ponies.
'Alright, that's it for this episode, if you liked this video, please give us a like, it helps us out a lot, and subscribe for more videos!' Jessica was doing her outro.
'Until next time...' Stacy stuttered, shoving Frisk playfully. 'Do your outro.'
She laughed. 'The three of us love you all, go rescue a pony!'
As they turned the recording system off, they thought they were going to relax for a bit.
'Finally done... This game takes forever to finish...' Frisk sighed.
'It's not easy being such a famous group of YouTubers,' Stacy replied. 'Say, let's go for a break, shall we?'
'I can totally use a break,' Jessica said.
All of a sudden, Twilight came rushing in, levitating an issue of a newspaper as she came in.
'Frisk! You must read this! It's a disaster!' She cried as she shoved it in front of Frisk's face.
She turned into a human and started flipping the pages. Then, Frisk saw a news article saying this:
'Mysterious killer on the loose; The man who will ambush all of the ponykind!'
'Wait, what!? What is this!?' She cried.
Twilight was nervous. 'Apparently, we have another serial killer in this world... As if Zebulon wasn't enough.'
Frisk was busy reading the article. It was describing how this man continued his genocide across all of Equestria, and everypony started to fall before his hands. Everywhere... Everypony started dying. It was reported that the latest sighting of him was in the Crystal Empire. Predictions were made that his next destination is ponyville. At the time of the report, he just started his quest in that area.
'What? How is this possible?' Jessica asked.
'The last time this many ponies died was back in the war... Someone is on the loose at this moment, and his next destinations might be here...' Twilight said, sweating.
All of a sudden, the door banged open thanks to Mark.
'Did you hear!? Yo, you guys have to come watch this!' He said, pushing everyone out the door into another room.
The others were watching the news. The news about this killer going around this world has spread throughout everywhere. One after another, towns become abandoned. Only the princesses survived.
'Chaos all over Equestria... Who is doing this?' asked Frisk.
Suddenly, a loud spark of light appeared in the room; it was princess Candance teleporting in.
'Huh? Cadance? Are you okay?' Twilight saw that she was hurt.
She took out her sword and breathed heavily. 'You aren't him in disguise, right?'
Twilight was confused. 'What do you mean? I don't understand...'
She had an idea to see if this pony was the real pony, not in disguise. She did a familiar dance. 'Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake...'
Twilight responded quickly. 'Clap your hooves and do a little shake!'
The princess was relieved. 'Alright, you're the real pony. I can trust you.' She put her sword away.
'What's going on, Cadance?' Stacy asked.
'He was attacking us... You know, that killer across this world?' Her heart was still beating fast.
'Oh, of course, we know about it.' Mark responded. 'He tried to kill you guys?'
'(Breathes) He is no joke... Only Flurry and I got away.'
And as soon she said that Flurry Heart came in with a bang.
'Oh my goodness, I thought I was gonna die!' She cried.
Twilight thought about her brother. 'What about Shining Armor? Is he okay?'
Flurry had tears in her eye. 'He didn't make it...'
She sighed. She knows her loved ones will only fall one by one.
'I can feel how this is going to go... you guys will only fall one by one,' She explained.
Nathan came in. 'We need to stop him before it's too late... We cannot allow ponies to fall again.'
An emergency meeting was called, and the group of ponies and the group of humans discussed who could be behind this crime. The two royal sisters escaped and were there as well.
'We need evidence to who the killer may be,' Twilight said.
'It must be someone... Someone who we have harmed in the past,' Nathan added.
Asriel thought about possible people that would be responsible. 'Frisk, any ideas?'
'According to his song we know... It may be Flowey, but he's dead, no way it's him,' She replied.
'Alright, we need to search things that will tell us who this murderer is. Maybe we could trace back the places he has abandoned, we may find clues to this mystery. Hopefully, we will stop him before any of us gets killed. If anypony finds something interesting, or if you need help and you're fleeing from him, call us princesses or call Frisk on the phone.' Celestia ordered. 'Good luck, everypony.'
Everyone nodded, and thus dawned another period of adventures for Frisk and the crew. Quest after quest, she was exhausted, but her determination was strong, even after all these years. She had one thought in her mind.
'You will not get away... Is this really your doing... My best friend?'
For the next few days, the crew started going around Equestria to find clues and evidence to the anonymous murderer. It was much more difficult considering he took away the souls of everypony he could lay his hands on, therefore no one can tell what exactly happened at the scene. Although countless footages could have been captured, it seemed that the killer acknowledged this, and somehow managed to disable all security footages across every town.
The humans followed Frisk to the big city Manehattan. It was obviously a huge crime scene there as it was a city.
'Seriously, there's nothing that we can use to prove! No footage or witness anywhere!' Mark exclaimed.
'There's got to be something that's useful to us,' Dan said.
Frisk was struggling to find evidence as well. All of a sudden, by amazing chances, she saw a pony, standing in a narrow corridor on the street, shivering.
'I think there might be,' She told them, pointing to where the pony was standing.
Frisk went over to the pony, but since she didn't want to frighten her, she stepped close quietly.
'Excuse me, can you-'
The pony turned around and nearly passed out. 'Ahh! No! Don't kill me!'
Then, she realized who the pony was. The crusaders told her about this friend of theirs.
'Hold on... Babs Seed? What are you doing here?' She asked.
Babs was relieved. 'Oh, thank Celestia it's not that killer... You're not him in disguise, right?'
'No, I am not,' Frisk answered. 'My crew and I are trying to uncover the case, we can really use your help.'
'Wait, why do you know me? I've never seen you before...' Babs was concerned about her true identity.
'You know your friends? The crusaders? They told me about you.' Frisk explained. 'I'm Frisk, I am currently with some of my other friends trying to find evidence to prove who the killer may be. Can you give us some information if you can? We would gladly appreciate it.'
'Well... I barely escaped the scene, and I can actually tell you something.' She replied.
As she told Frisk everything that happened, she was wondering who the killer may be. The problem is that it doesn't seem to relate to anyone that she knows, or at the very least, she remembers. The only way she can tell the true identity of the convict is to see who he actually is.
'Interesting... But, I don't think it relates to anyone I know, at least with what you have so far,' Frisk said.
'There is one thing I feel suspicious about, though,' Babs replied. 'You know when he sings that song? He briefly talked about someone... Someone who was a legendary savior of the pony kind... A girl who changed the world... A true pacifist...'
Frisk gasped. 'I see... Could he be talking about me? No, that can't be true...'
Suddenly, Frisk's phone rang. It was Mark.
'Hello? Mark, what is it?' She asked.
'Frisk, we need to get away from this place at this instant!' He yelled into the phone. 'We heard footsteps of someone... It's not you, nor the others, as I checked on my phone. It must be him!'
Frisk was shaking. 'Alright, meet at the train station. Good luck.' She hung up the call and turned to Babs Seed. 'We have to go right now.'
The two immediately ran to the station as fast as they could. As they got to the station, the others were already there. To save time, Asriel was there and called the train to arrive faster, but it was no big deal considering it was almost there already.
'Phew, glad we made it,' Frisk gasped.
Asriel came out. 'Just in time! Guys, we have to go now!'
As they were about to go into the station and find the train, someone landed behind them.
'Oh, I don't think so...' It was the murderer!
Stacy gasped. 'I knew it! He's been lying around here when we came!'
Everyone got their swords at the ready and were about to fight.
The man laughed. 'Challenging me to a duel, huh? Well, it's a great day today, isn't it? On days like these, humans like you...' He pulled out his demonic blades. '(Evil laugh) You should be burning in hell.'
Frisk was about to start the fight. 'Babs, find the train for us. We'll be there in a minute.' She nodded and ran away quickly.
Although it was a one versus seven, he was no joke. The seven got brutally destroyed, all by one person. Not dying to him was a very lucky thing.
'I cannot believe you are so weak against me, guess I was right, you aren't a legend after all!' He laughed.
Frisk trembled as she was trying to get up. 'Guys, change of plans. Follow me!'
The group ran into the station, fleeing for their life from the killer by taking the train back to Ponyville.
'Oh, and where do you think you're going, Frisk!?' He charged in to catch the humans.
As they found the train, the convict was fast. He found them and started shooting. Everyone tried to get on the train as soon as possible, and Frisk stayed on the platform to defend.
'Darn, out of bullets? Close range time!' The killer charged in and had a sword fight with Frisk. They were surprisingly at an impasse, though.
Frisk sighed as they looked each other in the eye. 'Why are you doing this?' She asked.
'It's simple...' He replied. 'It's kill, or be killed in this world. Don't you understand that? You killed him... You stole the spotlight from me... And you even banished my father. I will get you one day... Just remember that, Frisk. I will find you, and you will die on my hands.'
'How did you know me?'
'We may be friends once, but you have changed. You are not the Frisk I remember. I realized who you are, a person who steals the spotlight from everyone else. I could have saved you all... You took that chance away from me. Not to mention, my father was banished... Because of you. But, why in the world am I saying these things...' He apparently had an extra load of ammunition, and loaded it into his gun.
Frisk was tempted to run into the train. She didn't want to die again.
'Oh, why am I so outspoken when you are about to die!?' He pointed his pistol directly at her heart.
She waited for the right moment, just as he is about to pull the trigger. 'I have escaped death once... I won't fall into his hands again.'
The second he pulled the trigger, Frisk rolled into the train and shut the door shut. The second she got in, the train departed.
He got up. 'Ha, you got away this time. But, I won't go easy on you next time.'
Inside the train, the group departed back to Ponyville. They were still horrified by the killer, they could've died right there! As the gamers were trying to calm each other down, Frisk and Asriel were at a side.
'What's wrong, Frisk? We did get quite a bit of evidence from this one, why the long face?' He asked, comforting Frisk.
She sighed. 'I know who he is...'
'Who?'
'It's my old friend... Felix.' Frisk sighed again. 'We used to be best friends, we were always there for each other. However, something was wrong. Yes, that decision changed our paths.'
'What happened between you guys?' Asriel asked.
'After I defeated Gromiz, and stepped up to be the leader of Britannica, I never saw him ever again. Not even in the war. He hid from me for all these years. I know he must have used an age spell to still survive till today. It all makes sense now... He is the son of Gromiz. Zebulon was the true villain... The emperor I thought was evil was trying to save us, but he must be controlled... Either that, or he wanted to take the power for himself.' She explained.
Asriel was confused. 'Forgive me, but how does Felix fit into this stuff again?'
'Something else made sense now. Felix joined my school when we were still young, only two years after Gromiz won. That's when we became friends. He didn't start at the beginning. He joined the school when I moved up to 2nd grade, he was in the same class with me. This means after he realized Gromiz became evil, he tried to leave him alone. After I defeated Gromiz, I suspect he must have hated me for killing his father, but when he realized the true secret behind Zebulon, he wanted to save me in the war. However, he must have failed.'
'Okay, so you are saying that Felix is the murderer, correct?' Asriel said.
Frisk nodded her head. 'Exactly. We don't have much time to stop him, we need to prove to the others that he is and must be the one behind all of this.'
When they got back to the castle, it was already a bit late, and everypony was fast asleep. However, a deep and peaceful sleep was one thing that they couldn't have, considering a killer is on the loose and could kill them in any minute.
'You guys go back to the human world for now. We don't want you guys to get killed during your sleep here.' Asriel told the gamers.
Mark was exhausted. 'Alright friends, time to tell our viewers about this issue...'
'Right, I don't think they know about this yet. We should tell them just in case because, with all the stuff we have to do now, we can't upload videos and stuff,' Stacy sighed.
'Hopefully, we see you in the morning,' Frisk said.
Joseph grinned. 'So do we, Frisk. Sleep well, don't let that murderer bite you!'
The next morning, as soon as Frisk woke up, she heard princess Celestia screaming.
'Oh no... It can't be!' She thought.
The princess was staying in Twilight's castle at the moment, considering that being back at Canterlot would get her killed easily. When Frisk found her, everything was fine, but she looked very scared and was very nervous.
'What happened, your highness?' She asked.
Celestia was trying to calm down. 'This isn't good... I just had a very bad dream!'
Then, she told Frisk everything that happened in her dream. It showed almost all of the remaining ponies at this point will get killed, even the mane seven and the princesses. She woke up when she got killed in the dream.
'But, it's only a dream, no need to worry about it,' Frisk said.
Luna came over. 'Oh no, it's a big deal if she has a bad dream. Through dreams, she can predict the future. Unlike us, she doesn't usually have dreams, but when she does, everything that happens in it becomes reality.' She explained.
'So... Long story short, we are all finished at this point, yes?'
Frisk had an idea. 'Do you know who the murderer is from the dream, by any chance?'
'Actually, I do happen to know that,' Celestia replied. 'I think he was called Felix... He said that when his identity was revealed.'
That caught the girl's attention. 'Eureka!' She boomed in a loud voice, stomping the ground and pointing to the princess. 'It was him! My predictions were correct!'
'How did you know it was him?' Luna asked.
'We go back a long way, and I was thinking about what happened to him after he left me. Many things made sense, and after a lot of analyzing, I am very sure he is the killer we are looking for.' She explained. 'Now that I have you to prove his identity, I finally have strong enough evidence to confirm that he is the person behind the crime!'
Celestia was curious to the backstory of these two. 'But why would he do such a thing? Why would he kill everypony?'
'We can talk about that later. Right now, we have a villain to stop.' Frisk said.
After explaining the situation to everypony, the ponies set out first to stop Felix first. Twilight is the commander, she will try to communicate with the others, while the other princesses are for backup, in case the first batch fails.
'Alright, this is our plan everypony, so listen closely. Earth ponies are a team, unicorn ponies are a team and pegasi ponies are a team. The princesses and the gamers will stay for the next round. We'll communicate with you all when things go out of the plan. Now, get yourselves decked out, and I wish you all good luck.' Frisk explained.
Little did Frisk and the gang know, Felix was much stronger than they thought he would be. Two out of the three teams were down very quickly. It's down to Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash, and they knew they couldn't escape forever, even if they are in the air.
The two were on Cloudsdale. 'Okay, if he can get up here, he's a beast,' Rainbow said.
'Hopefully, he can't fly... It would be horrifying!' Fluttershy cried. 'Plus, I'm not really assertive...'
Rainbow immediately shook her friend. 'Suck it up, Fluttershy! Do you want to die to him!?'
As soon she said that someone came up.
'(Laughs) You think I can't fly? Too bad, I am the other chosen one.' It was Felix!
Both turned around and were shocked. They know they can't get away.
'Well... There's only one way to end this...' Rainbow thought.
'Oh, let me guess... You're going to die before me!' Felix reached out for his blades.
As they engaged in another fight, Felix was losing at first, but then acknowledged their advantage: Their wings. Thus, he damaged their wings pretty badly, so they couldn't fly. Then, it would've been much easier to kill them.
Fluttershy's wings were badly hurt. 'Dash... I can't fly!'
'(Grunts) So can't I, my wings are hurt so badly!' She cried.
As Felix aimed his guns at the duo, he had a menacing smile. 'Ha, do you realize why I am here? To erase everything and everyone she loved!' He shouted as he pulled the trigger.
At the castle, the group saw what happened on the screen that was displaying the view from the trackers that they gave.
'What!? No! Not again!' Twilight cried.
Asriel was nervous. 'Fluttershy? Dash? You okay?'
Seeing as they heard no response, they confirmed their last team has fallen. Soon enough, they were right; Their trackers are turned off.
'Oh, for heaven's sake... Everyone is gonna die!' Jessica cried.
Mark slammed the table. 'That's it, we're calling out the big guns.' He winked at the princesses.
'You can count on us, Mark.' Flurry Heart was very confident.
'Alright, second round: The royal princesses will be up next. Humans stay here for round three. Twilight, you and I are the last ones, since we are the strongest.' Frisk said. 'So, your highnesses, I wish you good luck. I hope it ends here, considering you four have the strongest levels of magic known to Equestria.'
Celestia nodded. 'We'll make sure he falls. This murderer cannot go any further.'
The four princesses return to Canterlot for another stand against Felix. While they have the highest levels of magic known to the pony kind, they surely cannot underestimate their opponents power. Seeing as he killed almost every last pony in Equestria, they know he is not an easy person to defeat.
As they entered the castle, they were very confident. Just think about it: Four alicorn princesses against a genocidal killer? They have won against even stronger foes before.
'If only the security cameras were working... We wouldn't have to search for him for long.' Luna whispered to Cadance.
'I know right? He could literally kill us any minute now!'
As they walked to the entrance of another hallway, Celestia saw someone there.
'Target is right there, everypony. Let's end his actions,' She said.
As they flew in and tried to shoot beams and the same time, he turned around and yielded the attack. It didn't last long, though, considering this kind of magic was the most powerful magic in history. He got knocked back into the wall behind him.
'What!? How is this possible!?' Felix yelled.
The four landed back, and all of them had a furious face.
'This ends right here, right now! You have harmed our subjects for long enough! Now, it is time for you to pay for your crime!' Celestia boomed in a loud voice, pulling out her sword. The others also got ready.
Felix gasped. 'Wow, stepping out the big guns, Frisk?' He thought to himself, then turned to the group. 'If you die here, your entire group is finished! Don't you see? You four have the strongest levels of magic, and without you, Frisk can never stop me!'
'We may have other plans, but this is not your matter!' Luna yelled. 'Now brace yourself and get ready to die on our hands!' She flapped her wings up angrily.
He smiled mischievously. 'So be it, then.'
It was a one versus four, but the princesses had magic so strong, enough to overpower Felix. They were winning at first, but Felix started to really get into the action soon after he realized he was losing. However, the pony side still kept on pushing forward.
Back at Twilight's castle, Frisk and the remaining people are watching as this fight went on.
'Yes! We're winning!' Stacy gasped.
'Woo! Go, princesses! Beat him up!!!' Mark was so excited he almost cursed.
Frisk was very pleased. 'This is perfect... Totally perfect! Will it end right here?'
'Maybe it will, maybe we don't have to deploy our third round!' Dan exclaimed excitedly.
'Yeah, I am really scared to go up there and face him,' Joesph shivered.
Felix was losing big time. He underestimated their power, he didn't think alicorn magic was this strong.
'No! It can't possibly be!' He cried.
Flurry was wrecking him to bits. 'It's no use, just give up!'
She threw him high into the air, Cadance responded quickly and shot him with magic. Luna then waved her sword at him to send him flying. Lastly, to finish that combo attack off, Celestia used magic and crushed him hard on the ground. And now: The finishing blow.
'Kill him!' Celestia commanded, and everypony shot their laser at once, incinerating the cruel killer's heart. Suddenly, he seemed to regain some kind of consciousness.
'No! You misunderstood me! I didn't mean to do this!' He shouted. But before he could say what he really wanted to say, he was already killed.
Landing back on the ground, everyone, including the ones watching, were waiting to see if he was actually done for.
'Is he killed? Is it over?' Twilight asked Celestia through the communication device.
She was waiting for the smoke to clear up before confirming. When it cleared, she saw a corpse, unconscious. Then, she knew he was finally banished from this world.
'I think that... Judging by what I see...' She smiled. 'We got him!'
Everyone at the castle was overjoyed and were celebrating. He was finally put off to rest!
'Finally, he's gone!' Jessica exclaimed.
'Haha, yes! They did it!' Nathan was on cloud nine.
As Celestia confirmed Felix was dead, the other princesses were very proud and glad.
'Yes! Finally!' Flurry said happily. 'Bring it in everypony, we deserved this win!'
The four had a very warm and cheerful embrace, and they were all very glad he was finally gone.
'It's over... At long last!' Cadance exclaimed.
'I can't believe we actually did it... This is an amazing comeback!' Even Celestia was proud.
However, what was about to happen, meant they were celebrating too soon. Luna saw it at the corner of her eye.
'Wait wait wait! Everypony! Stop stop stop!' She boomed into the device. 'Is that... supposed to happen?'
The corpse started levitating in mid-air and seemed to be sucking dark magic around it.
'Oh my goodness, not again! This is what happened last time!' Flurry cried.
As more and more magic was sucked toward it, they soon realized where the source was. They realize it because Felix's voice was ringing in their ears.
'With all the souls I have collected... It will make me immortal, and mark my words... I will have the last laugh!'
The magic was all released at once, and Felix immediately transformed into his stronger form. Demonic eyes, deadly swords, draconic armor, and his skin was dark red, the color of what he loves most: Blood.
'(Laughs) Don't you understand? I am the god of this world... It's kill or be killed! And everyone will die before me!!!!' He laughed.
Cadance was scared. 'We better run...'
Luna thought for a second and felt the same. 'What are we waiting for!? Go!'
As soon they tried to run out from the entrance, Felix blocked it off quickly, and grabbed them with magic.
'Now to really have some fun...' He giggled evilly.
Suddenly, he started to seemingly change the direction of gravity, leaving the four slamming back and forth into each other and the walls. Then, he kept on using magic to stun them. When they were all timed correctly in a straight line as they were flying across the hallway, he charged up another attack.
'Ahahahahahahaha, you're finished!' He yelled, firing his huge laser, demolishing the four.
In only a second, all four cameras of the four princesses were fried.
Twilight gasped in horror. 'No no no no no no no!!!! Celestia! Luna! Respond to me!' She was crying after she heard no response.
'Flurry Heart? Cadance? Are you there?' Nathan cried.
'Error: Unable to detect cameras. Searching... Error: Target not found.' The program confirmed their deaths.
Mark was furious. 'Is he insane!? How did he just revive from death!?'
'He's crazy! He's not a human!' Jessica cried.
Asriel was getting worried. 'Will we actually lose?'
'No, we won't lose.' Frisk said confidently. 'Although he is now immortal, we have no choice but to show mercy.'
'What!? Are you going nuts!?' He screamed at his sister.
Twilight calmed him down. 'Asriel, please... Through my experiences, Frisk... may not be wrong.'
'What!?' Everyone said in surprise.
'Remember this: Friendship always prevails. Also, Frisk and Felix used to be friends. If he is willing to show mercy, we can get the two back together.' She explained.
'But why would he spare us?' Dan asked.
'I heard his voice before he died. He said we misunderstood him. He said he didn't mean to do all of this.' Twilight explained further.
'Could this mean... He is consumed by dark magic?' Frisk asked.
'Very likely.'
Suddenly, the screen was buzzing, and the next thing that was shown was the face of the convict.
'Guys, look!' Stacy said, pointing to the control panel screen.
Felix managed to control the camera of the system, and he now finally shows himself to the rest of the group.
'Ah, hello my friends! Having a sweet time cause you thought I am dead? Well, it sucks to be you, I killed them all!' He laughed.
'You'll be punished badly for this!' Joseph proclaimed.
'Oh, you're all stupid people... I will kill you guys before you can even do that!'
Frisk stepped up. 'Felix... What happened to you?'
He gasped for a bit. 'Oh, it's you, Frisk. You know who I am, don't you? It's been a long time... How have you been? I've been really busy being shadowed by your spotlight recently!'
'Listen, I understand you, my friend. Please show mercy to me.'
'No, never!' He shouted. 'I will never do that! I am going to have my revenge on you for killing my innocent father!'
Twilight gasped. 'Wait... What? Gromiz was innocent!?'
'And I see that you made a bunch of new friends... You've forgotten about me all along, haven't you!? After all these years, my dreams have been shattered by you...' Felix was faking that he didn't mean to do all of this.
'Felix... Please, listen to me...'
'No way! In fact, I have a plan...' He yelled. 'Meet me at the castle of the two sisters, don't upset me!'
As soon he finished, the camera went off.
'Wh-What does that mean?' Jessica asked.
Frisk sighed. 'There is only one way left to end this... You know what to do.'
'You mean... we're up next?' Dan was shivering.
Mark nodded. 'There's no turning back now... We must prepare ourselves for round three.'
'You're right, even though he is immortal, we'll have to try.' Stacy said.
Twilight had an idea. 'Maybe if he shows mercy... Or if we convince him enough, we may be able to lure him into getting himself killed. I just hope we will be victorious...'
Joseph was getting ready. 'Come on everyone, let's go!'
As everyone got ready and were about to leave, Frisk had a different idea.
'Someone has to stay behind,' she said.
Asriel was shocked. 'Aren't you coming, sister?'
'If I go, and I die, my friend will be alone all by herself. She doesn't deserve this, after what happened last time. I won't make that mistake again.' She smiled.
Twilight gasped. 'Frisk... You're such a wonderful and loyal friend...' She was crying a bit and hugged her friend.
'Don't worry guys, we'll be okay. Just... Do what you have to do.' Frisk told them kindly.
The loved ones of the two were both crying to see them staying.
'Twilly... I won't stop you, but... I can't leave you here...' Nathan cried.
Asriel kept stuttering because of the tears. '(Sobs) Frisk... (sobs) My sister... I love you so much...'
Both couples hugged each other tightly, both crying.
'I love you too, Asriel. I've always loved you. But this time, I must leave you to do this task. Please, just go. I promise you, if you die, I will avenge you.' Frisk said to him.
'Okay... I will do it for you... I will do my best to stop him, much better than I have ever fought.' He said confidently, finally letting go of his sister.
On the other side, though, the two were still crying.
'No... I can't leave you down here if I die!' cried Nathan.
Twilight dried her tears. 'I've been waiting for this day to come for a long time... I know we made that promise, but I'm afraid it must be broken. If we follow you, and we die, ponykind will be eradicated from history. I never expected all of this. Please forgive me, and... You'll do a great job, okay?'
The two had one last kiss before they let go. They knew they may not see each other again.
'I love you, Twilight Sparkle...'
She smiled, and let go. 'And I feel the same way, Nathan.'
The other five came to hug the two as well, taking turns to say their last goodbye.
'If you have to fight him... Good luck to you,' Mark said.
'You too, I hope you guys succeed,' Frisk replied.
'We'll always remember the bittersweet memories we had together,' Jessica smiled.
'Friendship really does last throughout the ages, doesn't it?'
'You're going to be okay, we will help you stop him,' Dan patted Twilight's head.
'I hope you guys can do it,' She said.
'You both changed our lives, we couldn't thank you enough. Now, it's time we repay you,' said Joseph.
'We love you both, and we love all the ponies,' Stacy added.
The two smiled. 'You're very welcome.'
Finally, the seven humans set out for what's possibly the final quest of their lives. They don't know how strong he really is, but they all hoped at least one of them makes it back safe and sound. The two opened the castle doors, and they marched towards the old castle.
Nathan kissed Twilight again before he went out. 'Goodbye, my sweet girl.'
'(Giggles) You'll be a hero, you know that?' She smiled.
Asriel did the same with Frisk. 'It's all come down to this. Just remember, I will always love you, Frisk.'
'Do you promise me? Because I will.' She giggled.
'Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye,' He promised.
And so, the castle doors are shut, and they saw those humans for possibly the last time.
Twilight sighed. 'Do you think they will be okay? He killed every single other pony that lived in this world...'
'Only one way to find out.' Frisk replied. 'However, if they fail... It's just you and me, Twilly. Just like old times. Fighting together again.' She added as she pulled her close.
After losing the first two battles, the seven humans set out for the third battle. Although the saying goes, 'Third time's the charm', they don't want to be cocky just yet. They still have to battle him to make sure.
'Well... My last journey is here,' Asriel whispered to Nathan.
'I really wish it won't be, Asriel. You know that all of us don't want to die.'
The group kept on chatting and they were suddenly right by the castle. They walked towards the throne room, and finally stopped in front of the door. They know this may be the end of their paths.
Mark touched the handlebars. 'Well... This is it, guys.'
Jessica nodded. 'Everyone ready?'
'Time to shut him up!' Dan exclaimed.
They opened the doors, and on Celestia's throne, sat the violent killer.
'Ah, it's about time you guys-' He opened his eyes and saw the group. 'What the-'
'We know it's you, Felix! Stop hiding it from us!' Mark shouted.
He gasped. 'Mark? What are you doing here!?'
'None of your business!' Nathan yelled back.
'Hmph, very well.' Felix muttered. 'I wasn't expecting you guys, though. But, that's just gonna help me more. I could use a little one versus seven-fight right now, I am so bored. You're just here because you don't want Frisk to be killed. All of you are just trying to protect her. Sounds good? No! You guys just fail before me! You know she couldn't hide from me forever!'
Asriel was furious. 'Shut up, you bigot!'
He was shocked. No one has ever called him that before.
'Heh, here we are again, just me and you guys, right? With your weapons, your golden friend on the line, you should better be prepared because soon...' Felix pulled out his swords, and everyone did the same.
'Your last hour strikes!' And then while fighting, everyone started to sing as they go.
'One more step now, it's almost time... Show you what my determination has still left for you to get back to, You should prepare to just die! Like all your friends, you'll have a really good time...'
'But kids like you don't play by the rules, And guys like us, It ain't easy to be played for fools... So let's go, let the room get chiller... Let's go, dirty pony killer! (Let's go, just another killer!)'
'Go ahead and try to kill me if you're able, But inside you know that death can't be evaded... I know you're getting really sick of trying, But I even come back after dying...'
'You're not gonna win, We'll be here together, Fighting in this throne room for forever, I know you'll just respawn each time we beat you, But we'll always be right back here to meet you...'
'We are all made, of~ Love~ Oh.... Love~ Love~ Oh...'
While the humans are powerful enough to kill Felix over and over again, it was no use since his powers got to the point where he could just revive himself, over and over again. However, the humans never gave up trying, and sometimes tried to show mercy. But, the two sides were at an impasse.
'This is where it stops... This is where it ends... If you want to get past us, Well, you better think again...'
'But even if I hear you, I won't give up my attack... Do you just like the feeling, Of your sins crawling on your back?'
'Go ahead and try to kill us if you're able, You should know by now that mercy's off the table, Think that you can try to spare us like we're some pawns? Well, you didn't spare the others, SO GET DUNKED ON!'
'Why not let me win? You can't dodge forever! Even if the pain is more fun together, You know I will just respawn and come back newer, And with every time, I'm getting even faster than you are!'
'I am made, of~ Love... Oh~ Love~ Love~ Oh....'
As the battle raged on, the humans were slowly getting exhausted. This made their winning chances significantly dropping. Felix was slowly powering through the humans, but they still tried their best to stay alive.
'This is where it stops... This is where it ends... You keep telling me those words, And hope that I will understand...'
'But no matter how we stall you, You don't give up your attack... Can you just not see the truth, Or can you not see what this all meant!?'
'Go ahead and try to kill me if you're able, But inside you know that death can't be evaded... You think I might decide to stop if you show mercy, But I am getting you with my DETERMINATION!'
'We know you made our friends all disappear, (You know I made your friends all disappear,) But everything they cared about... (Erasing this whole world...) Is why we're here. (This is why I'm here.) We are their mercy, (I will keep fighting,) We are their vengeance, (You should be dying,) We are DETERMINATION! (That is your DESTINATION!)
'We're entirely made, of~ Love~ Oh... But I think we're stronger than you! Love~ Love... Oh~ I am stronger than you... (High pitched) Love~ Oh~ Love! We are stronger than you! Love~ Oh... Love...'
As the song finished, the humans were getting thrown one by one.
'You guys are finished!' Felix roared.
Jessica was blocking his attack. '(Grunts) No! I won't lose!'
A minute later, Felix swung his sword, and he flipped her sword away, and with a loud roar, he stabbed the sword right into her soul.
And she was gone.
'Jess, no!' Mark cried. He turned to Felix and charged at him furiously. 'You'll pay for this!!!'
As the two engaged in a sword fight, it didn't take long for Felix to knock Mark out, giving him the chance to control gravity and let him fall right onto the tip of his blades.
'Oh no! Mark is down!' Asriel cried.
Felix levitated the souls right out of their bodies. They both had a mystical glow, one of them is magenta coloured and the other is yellow.
'Aha! This fight wasn't a waste! This is not any ordinary soul, it's one of the exotic souls! I have been looking everywhere for this type of souls!' He exclaimed, pulling out a crystal chest. 'Let's see here... This one goes here, and this one goes there.'
Twilight and Frisk were confused to what he was doing.
'What is he doing? Frisk, any ideas?' Twilight asked.
Frisk thought for a bit. 'Wait a minute...' Her mind sparked a terrible thought. 'The exotic souls... I know what they are! They were the ones representing them all along!?'
'What are they?'
'I've heard about them from a book, it said that the exotic souls consists of eight human souls: Soul of Bravery, Soul of Justice,Soul of Kindness, Soul of Patience, Soul of Integrity, Soul of Perseverance, Soul of Hope and Soul of Determination. When a user uses all eight souls at the same time, they will become a god or goddess.' She explained. Suddenly, another thought came into her mind. 'That's it! I understand why he's killing us all now!'
Twilight gasped. 'Why? Tell me!'
Just before Frisk was going to say anything, they heard another scream.
'Another one is down!?' She gasped in horror.
Twilight tried to speak to the remaining ones. 'Nathan, who went down?'
He was trying to attack Felix. 'It's Stacy! She just got wrecked to pieces!'
'Oh dear... The girls are both down!' Frisk cried.
'Get off my sight!' Felix spun around in a insane speed, and threw them hard into the pillars.
'No! Not like this!' Joseph cried.
He charged up energy balls in his hand, and fired them towards the two defenceless warriors.
'(Grunts) No!!!!!' Shouted Dan. And then, both of them were gone as well.
Asriel was extremely worried. 'It's only the two of us...'
'There's no way, he's too strong!' Nathan replied.
Felix laughed. 'Don't you understand why I am doing this? I am the the god of this world! I will get all eight souls, and I will finally fulfill my dream!'
Frisk was very nervous. 'Come on, brother... You got this!'
Nathan signalled Asriel to attack him on both sides. They both got ready while Felix was talking to himself.
'Now, to get your souls and-' He saw the two weren't there. 'What in the-'
'Do it now!' Nathan shouted to Asriel. They both jumped up high in the air, and tempted to use their swords against him. Felix was blocking both ways, but still surprisingly held on.
He managed to fight them off. 'Shockwave spell!' He used the soul of bravery, and made a sword that initiated a shockwave when he stabbed it to the ground. The two were powerless after they got thrown.
'Just give me your souls already!' Finally, Felix threw the sword across the room, and it got caught straight into the two's necks.
And thus, the third round, too, had failed. Even with the power of their souls inside, it wasn't enough. He grabbed all the souls of the five remaining humans.
'Yes... YES! It's mine!' He exclaimed joyfully. 'These seven souls... I wanted them for so long, finally they are in the palms of my hands! Bravery, justice, kindness, patience, intergrity, perseverance and hope... I just need one more soul... before I become god.' He put the souls inside the slots of the crystal chest, leaving one slot remaining. That last soul, was the soul that represented Frisk: Soul of determination.
'One last soul... I am coming for you, Frisk. I hope you are prepared.' He thought to himself, as he took his belongings and his new set of treasures, and set out once again.
Back at the castle, the two just saw what happened, and were both heartbroken.
'(Gasp) NO! Asriel, no!!!!' Frisk cried in horror. 'How is he so strong!?'
Twilight was crying again. 'Nathan... How could you have failed me? I won't blame you, but now you are gone... I'm all alone again...'
It's almost all over. Twilight and Frisk are the last two survivors of the pony kind, but the true final survivor is the princess. Ponies are at the brink of extinction. However, with that kind of an enemy, it's almost certain they will lose.
Frisk calmed herself down and dried her tears. She tried to comfort her friend. 'Hey, it's okay. I'm still here.'
Twilight pushed her away. 'No! It's not okay!'
'(Sigh) Twilly, please don't be like this again...' Frisk was afraid what happened last time will happen again.
'There's nothing you can say... You can't change it back!' She replied, still crying.
'Please... Don't argue with me...'
Finally, Twilight can't hold it anymore. She never thought she'll be doing this to her friend, after what happened.
'Just shut up!' She cried, and she ran back to her room, crying loudly.
And Frisk was alone for a short while.
'Maybe she's just mad because he killed Nathan... I think she'll be alright if I comfort her.'
Later during the night, Twilight was about to go to sleep and let her tears gradually flow out.
'Oh, Nathan... You have left me alone in this world... What chance do I have? The princesses struggled, you guys struggled, and now he's immortal, how can Frisk and I kill him?'
Just thinking about it, she was asleep. A while later, she felt something on her side.
'(Groans) What the- huh?'
All of a sudden, a little glow shone in the midst of darkness. It was Frisk, in her pony form. She brought her close with her wing.
'Twilly, I don't want to hear you say anything like that again,' She said calmly.
It's been a long night, and she had forgotten about it. '(Chuckles) Haha, Frisk. I... I always was a crybaby, wasn't I?'
'(Laughs) You kinda were.'
Twilight dried her tears. 'I know... I'm sorry, my best friend. I didn't mean to.'
'Don't worry, it's not a big deal.' She replied. 'We'll take him down. I believe it's possible.'
'But how? He's immortal!'
'We'll think about it later. But for now... (yawns) I'm a little sleepy. Good night.' Frisk turned off the light. Suddenly, she felt a warm embrace.
'(Giggles) I wanna have someone that I can snuggle with tonight... Do you mind?' Twilight asked.
Frisk giggled and hugged her as well. 'It's okay.'
The next day, the two friends were looking at the view from the balcony of the castle.
'You know, we've been so worked up with all of this fighting and all that, we didn't have the time to enjoy our normal lives recently.' Frisk said.
Twilight sighed. 'Well, it's not like if anyone is left at this point. Everypony died trying to defend us. So now... It's just the two of us.'
'I don't know about you, but... we haven't been fighting together for a long time, correct?' Frisk asked. 'It's been a long time since we first met.'
She nodded. 'Yeah, we never really did. By the way, you said you know why Felix is killing us all just now, what exactly happened?'
'He wanted to kill every single one of us, just so he could get the exotic souls for himself. However, he knows without enough power, that wouldn't be possible. That's why he killed many ponies before taking on the humans, also to see who has the exotic souls. The more souls he collects, the stronger he becomes. So by the princess fight, he was powerful enough to revive himself. But, he didn't kill me straight away for a specific reason.' She explained.
'Why? Because you guys were friends in the past?' Twilight asked.
She shook her head. 'The last exotic soul....(sigh) Belongs to me.'
'What!?'
'In fact, my soul is the strongest out of the eight. If he kills me, he would have so much power, and no one can stop him.'
Twilight was confused but knew he had to be stopped, no matter how strong he is.
'Felix has to be stopped before he could kill us,' She said.
'We both feel the same way. Let me tell you what plan I have come up with...'
'Seems like it would work,' She replied.
'I have my own plans if you die too. So don't worry about me, please don't,' Frisk told her.
Twilight would usually be worried, but this time, judging by what she has experienced, she thinks her friend will be okay. 'Alright, I trust you this time.'
'So... Should we have a normal chat or something? Just to pass the time before the last fight. Probably we'll lose to him. If not, at least one of us will.' Frisk asked.
'Yeah, it's not like I have anything else really fun to do now.'
The two friends had just a casual chat with each other, knowing that when they fight, they won't get their chance again. They kept talking until they realize it was sunset. It's turning night soon.
'It's pretty beautiful, don't you think?' Twilight asked.
'(Chuckles) It surely does.' Frisk answered. 'Honestly, I really love you, my best friend.'
'Not that kind of love, though.' The two laughed.
'I felt like this would be the only chance I have left to say it, so I did. I know you love me too, right?' Frisk held up her head.
'(Laughs) Of course, just friendly love.'
The two hugged each other, seeing as they were being so friendly and kind towards the other. And all of a sudden, Frisk couldn't resist kissing her friend again.
Twilight was embarrassed. 'Oh, Frisk... You little girl.' She kissed back.
Both of them felt their face turn red. They were very embarrassed about what they did and laughed.
The time has come. Once again, Frisk and Twilight stand against another great challenge of their lives. It's not the biggest compared to the final battle of the pony war, but still, going up against an immortal being is no easy task.
For convenience, Twilight turned into a human for this fight. The two got the best gear they can possibly get through their powers, and a day after their final, casual chat, it was finally their turn to face the genocide king. After a few months, three failed attempts, the two set out for one last time. Right now, Spike, Frisk, and Twilight are the only ones left representing ponykind. If they fall, ponykind will be eradicated from history.
'Are you ready, my friend?' Frisk smiled.
Twilight nodded. 'I was born ready!' She gave her a high-five.
Spike was at the control panel, so he gets to communicate with the two while the fight goes on.
'I never thought this guy can kill all of our kind,' Spike said sadly.
Frisk sighed. 'We tried to stop him... However, he is too strong. We have hidden our powers away from him for a while. It is the time he deserves the punishment he should have accepted a long time ago, and he will see just how strong I have gotten in all the years I left him. There's no chance for Felix to win.'
'This is the moment of truth. Either we'll persuade him to show mercy, or... Well, you know what I mean.' Twilight explained further.
'So... I guess this is goodbye... I'll be okay if you both fall. I wish you both good luck,' Spike said.
Twilight picked him up and cuddled him tightly into her heart. 'I'm going to miss you, my sweet buddy.'
'(Giggles) I will too. You've been my pet for a while as well,' Frisk said. She lightly kissed Spike goodbye after she said that.
They put him down again, and he ran back to the control panel after they reached the door of the castle.
'Let's go and end the suffering,' Twilight told Frisk, holding out her hand.
She took her hand, and the two were lightly holding hands as they walked to the royal castle in Canterlot, where Felix was waiting for them.
As they finally got to the throne room, they both knew one thing: Once they go in, there is no turning back. Only one side will stay alive in the end.
Frisk looked at the door to the room. 'I remember this scene...'
Her friend nodded. 'Yeah, you were only fifteen when you faced Gromiz. But now... We have grown so much through the years. Our friendship grew much closer as we went on.' She touched Frisk's shoulder. 'But, I just wanted to say something, just in case we die. Honestly, you have always been the most beloved friend of mine. Of course, Nathan's my boyfriend but... You mean a lot more to me than just a friend. You may not know, but I missed you so much when you weren't with me in those few years.'
Frisk did the same thing with Twilight. 'It feels if we share the same soul sometimes. We're a destined pair.'
The two friends hugged, and both touched the handles of the door, ready for their last fight.
'Open it on three.' She said.
'One... Two... Three!' They both said, opening the door to reveal the villain.
Inside the throne room, sat the infamous convict, Felix.
'(Sigh) Finally. I was so tired of all this fighting I had to go through with the others.' He muttered.
They both got their swords ready. 'This will be your last fight!' Frisk shouted.
Felix turned to them. 'Don't you still not know I can't die? It's useless to fight me. You will still lose. You failed numerous times already. Just give in, and let me take your souls.'
Twilight stomped the floor with rage. 'No, never! We'll never give up trying to stop you, no matter how much effort it takes to persuade you to mercy us!'
The moment she said the word 'Mercy', Felix started to feel awkward, and he felt as if he had an extremely painful headache. Suddenly, his body went dead for a bit, and some kind of ghost came out.
'Frisk? Are you there? It's me, your best friend.' It said kindly.
'Shut up! You are not my friend anymore!' She angrily responded.
'Please listen to me.' It said. 'I am the soul of the real Felix. Dark magic has consumed me into this human being. Now, I am nothing now but a spirit. The only way to free me is by doing exactly what you guys just said.'
'You mean... We have to mercy him and show him true friendship?' Twilight asked.
The ghost shook his head. 'It's not that simple. Only when you have the golden soul... That is the only way he can be affected by your kindness. Then, if you can break his heart with all of your warmth and love, you will successfully give me the chance to escape his soul, and free myself from this curse.' He realized something. 'I don't have much time left to tell you guys about it. Just remember what I say, and good luck to you both.'
As soon he finished, he was sucked back into his body.
'What was that!? You didn't hear anything!' He yelled.
'We know your secret... And we will force you to show it!' Frisk yelled back.
Both Frisk and Felix were furious at each other.
'Fine then! Let's fight, shall we?' She asked.
Felix started a little song.
'So much blood... So much pain... Just to see... My friend again...
Oh, my friend... I'm sorry... Now you must face the... Genocide king!'
He was ready to fight when he had one last thing to say.
'(Chuckles) Frisk, it's been nice to meet you again. Goodbye.'
He pulled out his swords, and the two sides started to fight, while a song was ringing in their ears.
'This will be... The last soul I need. I will not, Accept your mercy... With your pain, My heart will fulfill... It's final destiny!'
'No, you'll fall, You'll pay for your crimes. You must die, We'll claim victory!'
As they sang, the voices of their past friends were counting on them for the future of ponykind.
'No more pain, Our saviour be! Come on, Frisk and Twilight! They will stand tall, It's come down to this, The future's counting, On our last warriors...'
'Can't hold back... My breath is all gone, My vision is blurred... I'm asking myself, What have I done!?'
'The pain you have caused, Our friends you have killed, You must pay the price, You shall burn in hell!
You changed their lives, You broke all the laws, We will see the sun!
'Frisk... I'm so sorry!
You killed everyone, Now it is your turn, They'll never give up, They will make us smile!
We cannot delay, And after this fight, Someone has to die, And I hate to say goodbye...'
Suddenly, the sound of the real Felix was ringing in their ears as well.
'Should I embrace... This last chance that I have? Should I erase... All the ponies I've killed?'
'Maybe you didn't mean to, And we could forgive you.' 'Could have been just normal, And go on with my life. If we could reunite, How good that'll be! Relive the old days, As best friends for life.'
'NO! That's just me dreaming, I need to wake up! My heart is hungry for it, Your souls will be mine! And when this fight is over, I will see the sun! And all the memories that we made, Will all be lost! I'll have the last laugh! Farewell, my best friend! For tonight... The villain has won!'
In the end, Felix had the upper hand, and Frisk and Twilight were already almost dropping dead. Their past partners were all afraid they'll lose, but it was no surprise.
'No, they're losing! He's gonna win! They have fallen! It's all over!!'
'Time to finish you!' He shouted, performing a huge explosion spell against the two and sending them flying to seemingly oblivion in the sky.
Both of them had a long scream as they flew, and it was seemingly all over.
'Finally... I have won this battle,' He sneered. 'You know what, I don't need their souls. I have already proven myself as the ultimate fighter. I'll just wait for them to perish, now that they are defenseless. There's no chance for them to escape the added poison spell in that explosion. And THEN I will take their souls and become a god.'
And so, Felix had a very loud evil laughter, thinking he has won and eradicated the ponykind.
Meanwhile, on the other side, Frisk and Twilight were being blown far away by the blast. Crashing into her castle, the defense had failed once again.
'I... I lost... How could that happen?' Frisk muttered to herself. She wanted to turn to her friend. 'Twilight, we have to go back and stop him!'
But there was no response from her.
'Twilight? Hello? Oh no, are you dying!?' She panicked.
'(Grunts) Frisk... Over here...'
She immediately ran to her, who was on the other side of the room. The princess was severely hurt, and the chances of her dying right here are high.
Twilight smiled. '(Chuckles) Frisk... That was... a great fight, wasn't it?'
'What!? We lost!' Frisk yelled.
'It was a great final fight. My time is running out now. I... I'm sure you'll be okay. I just know it,' She said, with blood dripping down her face.
Frisk hugged her friend tightly and cried. 'Twilly.... Don't leave me alone...'
'There is one last thing I can do for you, though.' She said. 'Have you tried the fusion spell you've been working on? If you can use the spell on me, and fuse with yourself, you will have much more power than you will ever have. The only problem is, doing so will kill me, as I am already very close to dying right now.'
The girl thought about it for quite a while and finally accepted the idea. Holding back all of her tears, and performed the spell on her friend. The second before the spell was initiated, Twilight waved Frisk goodbye, for one last time. When it was complete, the girl had changed. Her mane was a mix between blue and purple, and now some parts of her skin are yellow, some are purple. It sounds weird, but she didn't care.
The new girl looked at the perished body of the princess.
'Twilight Sparkle... I promise I will avenge you! I will fight him for you, for all our friends, and for the future of Equestria!' She proclaimed. Then she busted through the ceiling of the castle, and had one thing to say, before dashing over back to Canterlot castle.
'Felix... You've slain all my friends, now I will find you, I will force you to give in, and I will not stop until you are free!'
She flew back to Canterlot and busted through the top of the castle, where she was fighting a while ago. When Felix turned around, he couldn't believe was he was seeing.
'What in the flipping world are you!? I have worked on that spell for so long... how are you still alive!?' He shouted.
'That doesn't matter. Please, show me mercy and I will let you go if you mean it.'
'No, never! I don't need you! I don't need anyone!' Felix cried.
The girl was worried. 'Come on, Felix. I know your real self is not like this. Your real self, the real Felix, was sunken deep down into your dark heart. You need to snap out of it!' She touched Felix's shoulder, but then he pushed her away.
'I said... I don't need anyone's pity!' He yelled at her. 'It's too late to turn back to what I have destroyed... And now, I must finish this genocide...' He pulled out his swords again. 'BY DESTROYING YOU!'
Hanging on to her hopes and dreams, she took her last stand against the villain, who was singing again.
'Now hold on... To the dreams... You created... For a happy life!
It's alright... All the things... We sought for... Will soon be all worth this fight!
I will not... Destroy this world, I control time... Frisk, you will be mine!
Your friends and your memories, Will all fade... We'll do it all over, Frisk, you will not forget!
The best part? I know you'll do it, And you'll lose to your best friend! Lose again, Over and over, That's what you'll do for your best friend!
Cause you want a happy ending, You love your friends, Who could blame you? You're filled with determination, Frisk!'

'Stop trying to live, Just stop your dodging, Stop standing in my way! Please let me win... This final battle!'
'Frisk Dreemur's not my name!'
'You think you are something special? You're just a kid playing pretend! Don't get cocky now, Frisk Dreemur, Soon enough you'll meet your end!'
'You think you are something special? You're just a kid playing pretend! Don't get cocky, little Felix, Soon enough I'll free your true self!'
'You think you could ever defeat me!? No, my friend... We'll be fighting for eternity! You have lost everything, Your friends and dreams! Now you will fail here, I'll be victorious!'
'We'll never give up on our hopes and dreams, We'll never give up for all eternity!'
'But I've been holding back on you till now, let's see if you can survive this... Die for me!!!'
'This time, you will surely die!' Felix shouted, performing the explosion spell he used to kill his friend the first time.
As the explosion was triggered, she thought she had no hope left, this was the end for her.
'Not like this!!!' She cried.
But nothing happened.
'Wh-What?'
In fact, something seemed to be protecting the girl, some kind of border shone around her.
'What? No, what's wrong with me!? What is happening to me!?' Felix was feeling much pain through his body. Suddenly, the seven souls levitated out of his treasure chest and flew to the side of the circular border.
'NO! The souls! Why are they disobeying me!?' He yelled.
She was pleased. 'Wow... They never forgot about me after all...' She thought, turning to him. 'Don't you get it, Felix? Even with all that magic and power... You'll always be alone if you continue on like this. The true magic I control now, consists of Bravery and Honesty...'
Suddenly, what looks like the ghosts of the seven humans and the seven ponies, started to appear one by one in her command.
'Laughter and Justice, Ultimate Kindness, Patience and Generosity, Integrity and Loyalty, Perseverance and Friendship, Hope and Magic!'
Soon, the seven pairs were sending some kind of magic towards her.
'I understand you, Felix.. and I have the permission to use the most powerful magic in existence!'
When she was transforming, the voices of her friends started to sing to her and encourage her on this final battle.
'Hear our voices, As we sing again, We'll write a new symphony! Lost in this silence, Used in his violence, We'll keep you company!'
'He lost his way long ago... We'll punish him, even so...'
'What is this!? You broke from my hold!? Impossible! I'll regain control! I'm your god, your king! You can't do anything... Anymore!'
'Fight with determination! You've had your fun, But now we're the ones, Who hold the determination! We have the way, To pass her the gold soul, So that she'll win this fight!
'No! This isn't right! I can't lose this fight!'
'Free from this dark age, We'll stop your rampage, Protect the ponykind! This is our last chance, We'll do one last try. United as one!
'Your chaos will end, We will prevail, Give the human an opening! Blow after blow, You will fall closer, Into the pits of hell!
'No, I refuse! I WILL NEVER QUIT!'
'This fight is over, We will get the win, And you'll be punished for your crime! It'll be easy, To put you to death, Before we all vanish...
It's up to you now, Determined legend! You've got the ultimate blow! Unleash your power, On that killer, Three, two, one, LET'S GO!'
As soon the song ended, enough magic was transferred to the girl, and she unleashed it all at once, transforming to her ultimate form. The explosion of magic knocked Felix far away. When she opened her eyes, a mythical glow was surrounding her, and her skin was navy, even the wings! Then, she saw a very special soul levitating before her.
'No....No no NO! You're supposed to belong to me!!!' Felix cried.
'(Gasp) The golden soul! He was telling the truth!' She thought. A second later, the soul went inside of the girl's body, and now she is fully prepared and ready to show the power of friendship on her consumed friend.
'Why... Why are you still standing? Why are you still trying to stop me, Frisk!?' Said Felix angrily, looking prepared to fight.
She had a little grin. 'My name... Is Dreamlight Sparkle!'
And so the fight and the previous song continues, but this time, Dreamlight is winning.
'In my heart... There's something strong... That will keep me moving on! In my hopes... Proof that my... Happy days will never be gone!'
In harmony, the voices of her friends cheer on for her in this final fight.
'Here we are, Here we stand, Fight together again! Our hopes and dreams will not fail, We will win and see the sun!
We've come far, Here we are, To reach what we 're destined to do, It has been tough, But we won't give up, For a new day is on the rise!'
'Oh, Felix... Please do not quail, You have walked a lonesome trail, Peace and love will sure prevail, Help me end this sorry tale...'
Seeing her trying so hard, Felix's soul was hoping to escape soon.
'Deep inside, I feel a fire, Burns within me, ever higher... Knowing I will soon prevail, Knowing I can end this tale...'
'In every dream, There is a chance, We grabbed it at our first glance, Life plays the song, We make the dance, It's been like this forever!'
'Following our hopes and dreams, Although nothing's quite what it seems, Life keeps flowing like a stream, So let's stay together!'
'Time to open up your eyes, Time to see who you truly are. I won't give up the chance to save you, And I know we could go far...'
'I heard the tales they told to me, This happy ending cannot be... Let's go together, we shall see... Together for eternity!'
Suddenly, the memories are flooding back!
'Wh-What? What happened?' He asked. '(gasp) Frisk? What are you-'
'Felix? Is this really you?' Dreamlight was surprised.
But as soon he wanted to say anything, his dark version of himself managed to take over him again, and pushed her far away with a spell.
'NO! I don't need you!' He screamed.
And then, the moment of truth finally came. This was her chance to save him.
'Wait... This is my chance! I can break his heart right now!'
As both sides got ready for their last resort, the sounds of her friends were shouting and cheering for her from the surrounding souls around her.
'You are in charge now!' Twilight said.
'You're the future of the ponykind!' Jessica said with joy.
'Yeah! You can beat that murderer to dust!' Mark said, determined.
'We're here for you, Dreamlight!' Fluttershy said, feeling unusually great.
'We'll always be with you, no matter what!' Rainbow swore.
Even the princesses were cheering for her. 'We believe in you, our legend!'
Finally, Asriel was levitating before her.
'Frisk... No, Dreamlight, you are fully ready now, time to finish him!!'
With all of the magic sent from all her friends, her power grew and grew, and it was finally her turn to overpower him. Felix, oblivious to the situation, was still charging up his attack.
'Just let me win!!!' He cried loudly, firing the explosion spell.
As soon he did the spell, Dreamlight responded quickly by firing her rainbow beam. The moment it contacts the bomb, it destroyed it like it was nothing! As Felix struggled to keep himself alive with a magic shield, the girl had one last trick up her sleeve.
'The golden soul belongs to me now... And because of it, I carry in me the most powerful magic of all, the magic of friendship!'
At an instant, the beam grew multiple times stronger, shattering the shield in a blink of an eye, and finally broke his heart, all of the dark magic seeping away.
'(Screams) NO!!!!' He cried, as his dark soul was finally broken. As it broke, the power of the dark magic knocked Dreamlight back, and she passed out after the blast.
In her mind, she can merely hear her friend, softly speaking to her.
'Do you know why I am doing this?'
'Do you understand my feeling?'
'Why don't you see how I felt, Frisk?'
As the sound faded, memories were flooding into both minds.
It was a bright sunny day for a new school year. Birds are singing, flowers are blooming, just a very nice day for another school year to start in Britannica. Frisk was still only 2nd grade back then. The young little girl was normally going to school again. Her brother was still five at the time, so she was on her own.
'It's the start of a brand new school year, my child,' Chara told her daughter.
Frisk smiled. 'I can't wait to go back there again, I have quite a lot of friends I want to meet.'
As she got to the school, Chara kissed her goodbye and she went to her new classroom and waited patiently for her new classmates to come. Her class was going to change, and not many friends she knew last year showed up. Though, some were in her class.
'(Sigh) Not many friends I knew are in my class, huh?' She sighed.
As the bell rang, and the teacher came in, she had some words to say, and then she introduced to a new student that joined the school starting from this year.
'Alright class, I forgot to mention: Your class is lucky because you all will have a new student of our school that just transferred here!' She explained. 'You may come in now,' She called out to someone outside.
The boy came into the classroom and introduced himself as Felix. He was very charming and kind. However, some classmates laughed at him because he looked a bit awkward and he was very nervous when he was talking.
'Be nice to him, he just came here,' The teacher warned. 'So, Felix, you'll be sitting over there, right next to the girl in this group.'
He nodded and went over to where Frisk was sitting. Frisk looked at him and smiled.
During recess, some were out and about in the school playground, while some stayed in the classroom.
'(Sigh) Wow, bullied on the first day of school here, so much for trying to make friends with my classmates.' Felix muttered to himself.
Frisk went over to him. 'Hey, what's the matter?'
'Friends are difficult to find... Especially because of my secret.' He replied.
Frisk was curious but didn't want to bother him. 'Don't worry, I'll be your friend.'
'Thanks, what's your name?'
'I'm Frisk Dreemur. You are Felix, right?' She held out her hand.
'(Chuckles) Nice to meet you, Frisk.' He said, taking her hand and shared a handshake with her.
All of a sudden, the others saw what was going on.
'(Squeals) Frisk and Felix, sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g!' One of the boys laughed. The others laughed as well.
'(Sigh) Why are we so unlucky with classmates?' She asked.
'I don't know... But we'll work past it.' Felix replied kindly.
And thus dawned a new friendship between the two kids. They had their differences, but soon they learn to work past them. Funny enough, they were always in the same class for the next few years and usually sat in the same group, or even right next to each other. Even when Frisk's passion for fighting started, Felix was surprisingly okay with her being a bit aggressive.
Their friendship only drew closer when Felix decided to take a risky move one night. He wanted to sneak into her house and have a sleepover with her.
Frisk was getting ready for bed, after her practice session. When she was asleep for about an hour or so, she heard the door creak open.
'What was that?' She opened her eyes and looked around.
Someone came from behind the door.
'Oh, Felix? What're you doing here?' Frisk was confused.
He looked a bit embarrassed. '(Giggles) I just felt like having someone to snuggle with... Do you mind?'
Her face immediately turned red. 'Oh, uh... (Giggles) Don't worry, it's okay. Just... make sure you leave earlier so they won't be suspicious.'
When he got on the bed, the two had a little chat.
'Well, I kinda have a reason to why I wanted to sleep with you all of a sudden.' He said.
'What is it?'
'The truth is... You know that evil emperor? I'm his son.'
Frisk gasped. 'What!? How is that possible?'
'I knew if I told anyone about it, they will try to stay away as much as possible. Seeing we have been friends for quite a while, I decided to tell you about it. But don't tell this to anyone, okay?' Felix confessed. His friend nodded her head. 'Good. Before all of this happened, I looked up to my father. I studied magic with him, he taught me everything. But then, one fateful day, he declared war on our previous ruler, Zebulon. As soon I knew about it, I was very angry and I opposed of my father's actions. After he won, I was furious. I kept running away from him and told everyone that has seen me to not tell him that I am still alive. That is why I've actually been going around some of my new friends' homes having sleepovers with them and stuff.'
'So... You never saw your father again? That's a little going overboard, don't you think?' Frisk asked.
Felix shook his head. 'I don't really know. I still love my father but... I hate how he ruled this place after he won the war. He didn't even tell me exactly why he wanted to overthrow the other one in the first place! Now I am kind of stuck in between, part of me hates him and part of me loves him. What can I do?'
Frisk put her arm around her friend. 'Don't worry, someday it'll be alright. And also... Look at the friends you've made since you came here! I am still around to keep you company, you can turn to me about your problems, you can trust me. You have certainly changed a lot, and I think you did quite a good job of hiding your past.'
'Oh, th-thanks. I really appreciate it, Frisk,' He stuttered.
'(Yawn) Good thing the next day is a weekend. Anyway, it's getting late, goodnight for now,' She said.
Felix went closer to her, feeling very shy and embarrassed.
'Hey... Frisk?' He asked.
'Yeah? What is it?'
As soon Frisk turned around, Felix accidentally kissed her on the lips.
'Oh! Sorry! I didn't mean to kiss you there!' He was covering his face.
Frisk grinned and had a little giggle. 'Aw, Felix... Don't be shy, come here.'
She went closer to him and hugged him. Then he hugged back as well. Both friends were smiling as they slept together.
It was now the end of their last year in the school they were studying in. They grew up pretty fast, and time flew like an arrow. Now, they are going to apart for quite some time, or maybe they may never see each other again after their graduation. Frisk was walking out of the school for the last time when Felix rushed over.
'Hey, Frisk! Wait for me!' He said, panting as he came to her.
'Well... Time really flies, doesn't it? It's the end now.' She smiled.
He had a tear in his eye, but he smiled anyway. 'Yeah, it really does go by fast. But... I guess this is goodbye, my best friend. I... I will surely miss the times we had together when you're not with me.'
'We'll keep in touch, won't we? That way, we can still talk to each other even if we're far away.' Frisk comforted. Then, the two exchanged their contact information, and their last conversation is coming to a close when Frisk's mom came over with Asriel. She went to pick him up from school.
'Frisk, are you going to join us back home?' Chara asked.
'I'll catch up later, mom. You guys can go first,' She replied.
As they left, she turned to her friend again.
'I guess I better go now.'
'Come on, Frisk... You know you don't want to leave me just yet,' Felix giggled.
She sighed. 'I know. You're my best friend. And... to see you won't be with me for the next few years... I'll be a bit alone, to be honest. But, we can't prevent it from happening, now can we? So... I wish you the best of luck, Felix. Just remember: You're always in my heart.' She then lightly kissed Felix's cheek and hugged him with tears flowing out her eyes.
'(Chuckles) I don't want to leave you... But, I'll be okay. Don't worry about me.' He said.
After that, they let go and it was time to say farewell.
'Well, make sure to keep in touch, Felix. I guess I'll see you around someday.' She turned around and went back home.
'Goodbye, Frisk! I will always remember and miss you!' He cried, walking the opposite direction.
As Frisk caught up to her mom and her brother, she was feeling a bit sad.
'Dear Frisk, what's the matter?' Chara asked.
'(Sigh) I wonder... When will I see him again?' She replied.
Asriel patted her on the shoulder. 'Don't worry, Frisk. He'll be alright. Also, you're never alone, I'm still here for you, don't you remember?'
They both put their arms around each other and smiled.
'I guess I'll have to agree. We're not only siblings, we can be friends too.' She answered. The three continued to chat and laugh as they went back home.
After they went their ways, they never knew each other again until the fall of Gromiz. When Felix knew about the news of his father dying, he was the only one in the midst of the cheering crowd that was shedding tears. He knew he would never see him again.
'Oh, why... Why would my best friend kill him? She told me everything will be alright soon... But this was her way of making that happen? Really!?' He cried. He put his hands in front of his heart. 'Father... I will avenge you. And Frisk... no matter where you are, I'll find you, and you will pay for what you have done!'
Many years later, he got both age spell treatments, so he was locked at the age of 27, 4 years after Frisk got the spell done on her. When he was almost done preparing himself to take his revenge on his friend, it was about the same time the pony war was declared. It was then, he realized his father's true intention of waging the war he won: He wanted to save the country from the evil emperor. However, after he obtained the country, his greed for power grew. That's why what he originally intended had taken such a sharp turn.
'Oh... Maybe this is why he wanted to wage that war... I misunderstood him.' Felix thought. 'Maybe... I should help her then?'
Frisk didn't know that all along, Felix was helping her in her conquest to take back everything the ponies lost. But, Frisk never noticed him. Not even in the final battle. That's right, the person who actually backfired Zebulon's attack at the end, wasn't Frisk, it was Felix. However, Frisk stole the spotlight from him once again. After the war ended, he was much more furious than he had ever been. He actually did a lot on winning this war for Frisk's side, but he never got noticed or anything.
'What I did... Was it not necessary?' He thought. 'Would they have won anyway if I didn't help? I can't believe my friend had harmed my feelings so many times... Why? Just... why!? Why did I even try!?'
Suddenly, dark magic was warping around him in the open area he was standing in. He suffered a lot of pain, but as soon he transformed into the dark version of himself, his thoughts immediately changed. He adapted to the idea of 'Kill or be killed'. He started killing everyone. Even Frisk's friends. He slaughtered everyone that tried to stop him. Hundreds or even thousands of souls were gathered by him, and he used them just to get more power for himself.
Just thinking about all of that... It was enough to make him cry...
Felix was back in his normal form, crying streams and streams of tears. Although he was finally free, there was no excuse for what he had done. Dreamlight was at a side, just about to wake up from her unconsciousness.
'(Groans) What...happened just now?' She thought.
She turned around to see her old friend crying.
'Felix... Is this your real self?'
She walked through the hallway of the castle, and standing in front of him, she smiled.
'Hey... Felix, it's been a while.' She said.
But he didn't hear anything. 'Just leave me alone!' He pushed her away and turned to the other side.
Dreamlight sighed. 'Don't be afraid of me. I know you have a lot of explaining to do, but I'm not mad at you. I'm not angry with you for what you did.'
His tears were still coming out rapidly. '(Sniff) I'm so sorry...'
'It's not your fault. It's the evil version of yourself.'
'I didn't mean to do all of this in the beginning... (sobs) I didn't want to lose the friend I had once known to be so caring and kind, but... (sobs) seeing you stole the spotlight from me, I was so jealous. But, I didn't think it would be so strong to the point it will take over my entire body,' Felix explained.
'Well, maybe it was my fault that triggered you. If that's the case, I'm sorry,' Dreamlight comforted.
He shook his head. 'No, how could you say that? This is my fault, all of it! I killed everyone you once loved so much, even your new best friend. And I will have to pay the price...'
'I know. You will pay that price someday. But, that doesn't mean it's too late to change.' She said.
'I can't repay you for what I have done. I've hurt so many people... They were all innocent, and I just went in and killed them all, and I hurt you.' Felix sighed. 'I know there is no excuse for what I did, and I am ready for whatever punishment is fair, even death. So, Frisk... I suggest that you should just forget about me. Go on and have a new life. And if you hate me and you never want to see me again... I understand.'
As his tears continued to run down his face, he expressed his feelings through another song.
'There's a world out up above, It would not show me love... I thought I could stop the end, Be here with you, my friend...
Somewhere deep down, I believed... I'll bring you back to me. I thought we could have some fun, Can my damage be undone?
I've forgotten how to feel, Not sure if that was real, If I am no longer me, Then what can I still be?
By your side until the end, I'll always be your friend. I held on to that promise, No matter what I am then...
So please just leave me behind... I couldn't win this time... I don't want to let you go, I'll be okay alone...
You deserve far better friends, Now you're here at the end. I can let all of them go, I'll be okay alone...'
As Felix continued to cry, Dreamlight was crying a bit too.
'Oh, Felix... You're breaking my heart...' She thought.
She immediately rushed over and hugged him tightly.
'I never forgot about you, Felix. I never did. You're still my best friend. I remember that. Don't cry, my friend, it will be alright. Honestly, I love you. I love all my friends. And you're my best friend in my childhood. I don't hate you, I thank you for being my friend. I'll always be your best friend, nothing can change that! Not even a small fight between us can break that bond we've had in our memory for so long,' She confessed.
As soon he heard what she told him, for the first time in years, he has really found warmth, happiness, and love. The two hugged each other close to their heart, both crying.
'(Chuckles) I... I really don't want to let go of you. I love you, Frisk,' Felix stuttered, due to the tears.
As they let go, Dreamlight wanted to talk to him a little more.
'Felix, do you mind if we stay and talk for a bit?'
'I don't mind at all,' He replied.
As they sat down, Dreamlight used her powers and made a bunch of flowers in her hand, and gave them to him.
'Oh, haha, thanks.' He put them inside of his shulker boxes. 'I... I was always such a foolish child, wasn't I, Frisk?'
As he saw her confused face, he knew that wasn't her name.
'I can tell... You're not Frisk Dreemur, are you? I know she has been gone for a while. She isn't "herself" anymore.' He sighed. 'But then... What is your name?'
'Finally, he listened to me...' She thought, grinning. 'My name is Dreamlight Sparkle.'
'Dreamlight, right? That's a nice name!' He giggled.
As they talked, Dreamlight thought about how her friends can come back to life, since all of them are dead.
'By the way... What am I going to do now? My friends are all dead...' She sighed.
'Actually, I have a solution to that.' Felix replied.
He got all of the boxes out and showed them to her.
'Are these boxes storing the souls you've collected?' She asked in curiosity.
He nodded. 'I have a very complicated spell, that can help bring all of these ponies come back to life at the same time!'
'Really? That's great!'
'However, stay here for now. I have to set the spell up first.' Felix said, flying away with the shulker boxes.
After he set up all of them in all the different areas of Equestria, he flew back to where they were.
'Do you have the exotic souls?' Felix asked. 'Ha, you don't. They are inside you!'
'Wait, what do you mean?'
'The golden soul is currently inside your body. This soul is made from the eight exotic souls, that are shared between some ponies and one of those humans. You'll have to unleash its power in order to revive your friends.' He explained.
'But... Does that mean I can't ever use this soul again?' She asked.
'Sadly, you can't. But, isn't it a good trade? The golden soul for your friends? You love your friends, don't you? You care more about friendship than power. I'm sure it's a fair trade.'
Dreamlight thought for a bit and then accepted to perform the revival spell. As Felix taught her the spell, she understood it very quickly, and they performed the spell together. It was quite a painful spell, though, since it requires much energy in order to revive somebody. And no, Felix doesn't have his revival powers since he is not in his evil form anymore.
'(Grunts) I can't hold on much longer!' Dreamlight cried.
'Come on... We're almost there, hang in there!' He cheered on.
A while later, the spell was successful, and with a loud and bright bang, the spell created a shockwave that revived everypony in its path. However, due to the amount of magic used, the two collapsed at an instant, holding hands.
(Once again...) It's a bright sunny day in Equestria, and all the ponies are alive and well again, going through their daily activities. However, the group at Twilight's castle were different, they were all happy to see each other again, especially Twilight and Nathan.
As the group was talking with each other, Twilight just woke up from her sleep that morning.
'(Gasps) I'm alive again? Wow, she must have been busy!' She looked around, and saw that Frisk was sleeping very quietly on her bed beside. She wasn't really conscious yet. Beside the bed, there was a little table, stacked with cards.
'(Chuckles) She must be tired. I guess she did win in the end. Maybe I'll give her a little card to thank her, then I'll just let her come to me,' She wrote down what she had to say in the card, placed it on the table, and walked out of the room.
Twilight wanted to check if Nathan was up yet. She couldn't find him with the group, which was what she expected. So, she went to his room, and he was just casually relaxing on his bed.
'Hey, Nathan! It's me!' She called out as she entered.
He gasped. 'Oh my gosh, Twilight! You're okay!'
They both rushed over and hugged each other. They were both so glad to see each other being safe.
'What happened? Did you guys win in the end?' He asked.
'I don't know, I died while trying to fight him. But, Frisk is still sleeping at the moment, seeing her still alive, I'm pretty sure she won.' She answered.
'Well, we'll know soon enough. But I'm just so glad you're safe and sound!' Nathan exclaimed.
'Haha, I feel the same, and everyone else also has the same thought.' said Twilight.
At the same time, when no one was watching, Frisk woke up.
'Phew... I'm still okay. I thought I died there...' She thought. She looked at the cards that her friends gave. 'Wow... My friends are so kind, how long have I been passed out for?'
Just when she was reading, princess Celestia came in.
'Good morning, Frisk, feeling any better?' She asked.
'Pretty good now, thanks.' Frisk replied. 'It's great to see everyone alive and well again, isn't it?'
She nodded. 'Yes, on behalf of all my subjects, I thank you for saving us once again. I know beating him must have been no easy task. You truly are the chosen one.'
Frisk shook her head. 'I didn't do it alone. Without the help from all of you, I wouldn't have reformed him and helped him to revive you all. You guys gave me the strength, the power of friendship to help his true identity escape. When I found out what happened to him, I knew how to beat him. I needed to find a way to break his dark soul in order to free him from the evil murderer. So, I owe you all a thank you as well.'
Celestia beamed. 'You're most certainly welcome. Now, you must be really tired after what happened. You can still take a rest or you can jump back into meeting your friends. We have some things to do later. I'll leave it up to you then.' She left the room after she finished.
Frisk smiled, and left the room a while after the princess left.
She went to Twilight's room, just to see if her best friend was alive again.
'Twilight Sparkle, are you there?' She knocked on the door.
She beamed, and used her magic to open it.
'Frisk! You're here!' Twilight said happily, then walking over to her.
Frisk turned to a pony and chuckled while doing a familiar dance. 'Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake...'
'Clap your hooves and do a little shake!' She responded, and they both laughed. 'Wow, I don't recall teaching you that!'
'Oh, it's nothing, Cadance and Flurry Heart taught me. Seriously, it's so good to see you again!' Frisk immediately cuddled her friend for a bit.
'(Giggles) Love you too, Frisk. You finally did it!'
Nathan was at a side, clapping his hands. 'Nice, he deserved it.'
'Speaking of which... What happened to Felix? I don't see him anywhere.' said Frisk.
'Oh, about him? When you two collapsed in the castle, everything returned to normal when the spell was initiated. An hour later, the princesses decided to find what happened in the blast. They found you both easily. Flurry took you back here while you passed out, and the royal sisters captured Felix, and he'll be banned from this world for what he has done.' Twilight explained. 'And I know what you're thinking, and yes, they told us about it before you got up.'
Frisk was a little bit sad he will be banned forever from Equestria, but thought he deserved it.
'You know what, he said to me he's ready for whatever punishment was fair, so I won't judge what Celestia and Luna have planned. I'm okay with it.'
Nathan had an idea. 'Say, you should probably go and meet the others now.'
'Good idea, let's go!'
When she entered the throne room, which was the place where the others were chatting, everyone bowed down to her.
'Whoa, what's with everyone being so formal all of a sudden?' Frisk giggled.
'Come on, you saved all of ponykind! Why wouldn't we be so thankful to you?' Asriel replied, getting back up.
Cadance went over to her. 'On behalf of all the ponies, we thank you again for saving us from disaster.'
Frisk shook her hoof. 'You're very welcome, I always do what is best for everypony, and I am very honored to save you all... again!' Everypony giggled a little bit.
'Alright, soon enough, Felix will be banished from Equestria, and he can never return.' Luna said.
'Great idea, your highness.' Nathan replied.
'So, anypony not coming today?' Flurry asked. No one dared to say no. 'Okay, so it's about time he gets punished for his crime.'
A while later, the whole group was standing near the Canterlot portal, ready for Felix's banishment to be official.
'Bring in the convict,' Celestia commanded.
As Felix came over, his face was full of guilt and regret. His hands locked in place behind him with handcuffs, he is ready for his punishment as he was surrounded by the royal guard.
Dan got the settings ready. 'There, the moment he goes through the portal, the portals will make it so that he may not pass through any of them from Earth to get to here.' He whispered to Luna.
Mark sighed. 'You should be very ashamed of yourself, my friend.'
'I know, Mark. I can't believe I hid this secret from you.' Felix replied, walking along.
He walked all the way to the front, and just as he was about to go through, Frisk spoke up.
'Please wait for a second.'
They all stopped, and Felix turned to her.
'Apologies for the holdup, I... have some words to say to him, since this is the last time we'll see each other.'
'Alright, but not too long.' Cadance warned. 'Let him loose for one moment.'
Frisk went over to him, and sighed.
'Felix, I'm not mad at you for what you have done. As an old friend, I've always loved you with all my heart. It's been great to see you again, even though you are a serial killer and tried to kill everyone. I can't tell when we'll meet again, or maybe we won't even see each other ever again after this, and I don't know if you'll remember any of this or not, but I will always keep you in my heart.' She took out a piece of paper, and passed it to him. He put it in his pocket. 'With Celestia's permission, I hope we can still keep in touch with each other, and I hope you'll be okay alone. Just remember, if you need me, don't hesitate to reach out to me.'
Felix had tears in his eye as he was handcuffed again by his friend. 'I deserved this. I'll admit it, it's my fault.'
'You thought I always tried to steal the spotlight from you, but don't worry, I know someone out there cares about you. Someone like me. I don't think I will see you again, so I pray you'll be alright without me around.' Frisk tempted to comfort him, but resisted.
Looking down, the guilty murderer finally admitted his crime.
'Take care, Frisk. I won't try to compete with you anymore.' He finally sighed.
As he stepped up to the podium in front of the portal again, he looked at Frisk again.
'It's okay. Go.' She told him.
He took a deep breath, and walked through the portal. Now, he can never return to here ever again.
Flurry put her wing around Frisk, and dried her tears. 'You'll get over with it.'
'Alright! Who's ready for a party to celebrate that we won this fight!?' Pinkie exclaimed.
The girl who was just sad was laughing again. 'Ha, you bet! Anyone else?'
Everypony felt great that she suggested that idea.
'Wait a minute,' Nathan called out. 'I have something to say... Particularly to Twilight.' He turned to her.
'Huh? What about me?' She asked.
He signaled her go to the middle of the two lines of humans and ponies, and he held one of her hooves.
'Twilight Sparkle, for the past years we've been together, it was all so much fun and such an exciting journey. Our relationship grew and grew through the years, since I have met you. I may not be the best in the world, and I am a little foolish and all that sometimes, but... I have something I want to ask of you...' He digged into his pocket.
'(Gasp) You don't mean...' Twilight let go and gasped.
Everypony saw what he was holding, and they all cheered in excitement: He was proposing to her!
'No way! He's proposing!!!!' Stacy gasped.
Down on one leg and holding the ring, Nathan smiled.
'Your highness... I'll be very, very honored to marry you,' He confessed.
Twilight was crying tears of joy. 'Of course I will!' She said excitedly.
She turned into a human, and he carefully put the ring on her finger. As the two embraced tightly and kissed, everyone was really excited and overjoyed. However, Asriel had other plans.
'Sorry to ruin the excitement, but... Frisk, come with me.' He called out to her.
They stood next to the other couple, and held each other's hands.
'We've known each other for a long time, and we did everything together. We grew up to this day as siblings, and we were life-long friends. After the war, which was a few years ago, we even became a couple. Ever since birth, I looked up to you. And now... I don't know about you, but I would say we are ready for our biggest stage of relationship yet.'
Once again, everyone gasped, since they knew what he was doing. That's right, he made this a double proposal!
'(Squeals) A double proposal!!' Rainbow screamed in excitement.
'(Chuckles) Frisk, I love you so, so much. I know we have always been a destined pair. And to make that happen... I only have one question to ask.' Asriel was down on one leg, to bring up the question.
Everyone was extremely excited. 'Say yes! Say yes! Say yes!' They all chanted to Frisk.
'Will you marry me, my dear sister?' He asked.
Frisk gasped, and she had the biggest smile on her face in her entire life. 'Oh, Asriel...' She nodded to him.
At last, he put the ring on her finger and they kissed each other. Most of them started cheering and bouncing and clapping for the two engaged couples.
Celestia went over to Twilight. 'Congratulations, my faithful student.' She kindly gave her a hug. 'And congratulations to you as well, Nathan. You'll have a pretty good life with her.'
'Thanks, your highness,' He shook her hoof.
Asriel winked at Nathan, smiling.
'(Chuckles) I didn't think you'll propose to her today,' Nathan whispered.
'What? It's not my fault my timing is so good!' He laughed, and they both gave each other a high-five.
On the other hand, the girls were really happy for each other.
'Congratulations, Twilly. I'm so happy for you!' Frisk said.
Twilight beamed. 'Haha, I can say the same for you!'
Around a year later, both couples got married, and all had a great life afterwards.
One evening, Frisk and Asriel were taking a casual stroll through a nearby park (In the human world). As a married couple, they were always together now. Their lives didn't change much after their marriage, but they were glad to be together. They sat down at a bench and talked.
'You know, Asriel... I've been wondering about some things.' Frisk said.
'What is it, sis?' He was curious.
'Do you think we could be parents someday? And having our own child and all that?'
He chuckled. 'We haven't been married for long yet, maybe we should save that question for another day. Besides, it will surely change our lives.'
'Well, I just hope our friends will be okay. I mean, we'll be pretty busy taking care of our child if we do have one. I wonder if Twilight is thinking of having a child too,' She told him.
'Sure sweetheart, I know.' Asriel said. 'So... I'm a little bored, what to do to kill time at this moment?'
'You wanna play for a bit?' She asked.
'Sure, why not?'
As they were playing their version of 'patty cake' and singing a little tune as they played, a man walked by near them. He turned to them, and kept on walking after sighing.
'Excuse me sir, what's wrong? You seemed to be bothered about something...' Frisk went over to him.
The man gasped. 'Frisk? Is that really you?'
'Well, yes but... How did you know me?'
He took off his hoodie that covered his face. 'Haha, wow. I never thought I'll see you again.' It was Felix!
'(Gasp) Felix? It's really you!' They hugged each other. 'Wow, I missed you so much!'
'(Chuckles) We haven't seen each other for like, a year now, how have you been?'
She let go of him. 'I have a little confession... Sorry I never told you.'
Felix saw Asriel behind her, and knew what happened.
'You're married, correct?' He giggled. 'Congratulations then. Not gonna lie, though, I had feelings for you before you saved Britannica. I was just nervous.'
Asriel giggled. 'Actually, we already got engaged since you left. I proposed to her the same day you got banned.'
'But, what have you been doing then, Felix?' Frisk asked.
He sighed. 'I was put into prison for murder. I would've got the death penalty, but since no one was actually dead since we revived them all, the punishment wasn't as big. That was the worst year of my life.'
'That's horrible!' Asriel cried.
'I know. But, there really wasn't any way to get out of that one. Since then, for the few months before now, I have changed quite a lot. I redeemed myself from my mistake, and my fans on YouTube trust me again. For the year I got punished, my subscriber count dropped heavily. After I finished my sentence, I went to explain what happened, and owe everyone a huge apology. Now, I'm all okay again. But, it would've been better if I had someone to accompany me.' He explained.
All of them laughed. Then, Frisk had an idea. 'I wonder... where exactly do you live now?'
He opened a portal. 'Come, I'll show you.'
His house was pretty special, it was one of the best places that any YouTuber has lived.
'Wow, this is amazing! You never told me about all of this!' Frisk exclaimed.
'Oh, it's really cool. Being the biggest youtuber in the world is awesome. Not to brag, but really, I have like, what, 70 million subscribers? No one has came close to catching up to me. I've held this record for quite a long time now.' He said.
'One day we might beat you, you never know.' Asriel whispered to him.
'Wait, you guys have a channel?'
Frisk giggled. 'Yeah, our pony friends decided it would be cool and interesting to make videos about games or other funny things. Not to mention, we even collaborate with five other youtubers!'
'Let me guess... One of them is Mark, right? I saw him.'
'Yup! And the other four are pretty awesome as well, each with different kinds of videos. Joseph does the kid-friendly games, Stacy does the mod packs for Minecraft, Jessica is keen on role-playing videos, and Dan is all-rounded.' She answered.
As they walked to another room, it was so beautiful. Out of the ordinary, there was a piano on the other side of the room.
'What's with the piano? I don't think you know how to play it, at least that's how Frisk told me,' Asriel said.
'Oh, I started actually learning it. I'm not that good, but I'm trying.' He answered.
Frisk had an idea. 'I used to play the piano to kill time. Hey, I have a little song that I kinda used to play, hope I still remember it.'
With a snap of her fingers, the music sheet for the song appeared in her hand.
'I saw this song the other day, and I decided to see if I can play it.'
And then, while playing the piano, she was singing the tune.

As soon she finished, they both cuddled each other.
'You're never alone, Felix. I told you, I will always remember you.' comforted Frisk.
'(Sniff) Thanks, I love you too.' He cried.
Asriel was at a side, grinning. 'Aw, look at you guys being so cute together...'
'Hey, I heard that!' She yelled at him.
Asriel was embarrassed, and they all laughed. Suddenly, she received a phone call.
'Hello, who's this?' She asked.
'(Giggles) Hey Frisk~ It's me, Twilight! What's taking you so long? I thought you guys were only having a casual walk at the park,' She said.
'Oh, sorry about that. I'll tell you what happened when I come back. I will be back in a little bit. Bye for now!' Frisk replied.
'See you later!' Twilight said.
Turning to Felix, she sighed. 'Forgive me, Felix. I have to go, my friend is curious on what's going on with me and Asriel.'
'That's okay. I think I have pushed my luck as far as I can go.' He replied, smiling.
'Now that you've redeemed yourself, you guys can talk much more freely,' said Asriel.
'(Laughs) That's great! So... I guess we can always hang out with each other now, right?' Frisk asked.
'Sure we can. Maybe we should catch up sometime soon?'
'Alright then.' She smiled. 'Goodbye for now, and although you're not going to be my soulmate, I still love you. For now, take care.' She lightly kissed him goodbye.
After they left through a portal, he had a big smile.
'Checking... Yup, she really kissed me.' He thought.
Back at the castle, they just teleported in.
'Ah, finally you guys are back!' Twilight said. 'I was worried.'
'Sorry to keep you waiting for a while.' Asriel replied.
'Right, what happened was that I randomly ran into Felix just now. Don't worry, he's fine now, he's changed and now he's a good guy.' explained Frisk.
'Interesting! Well, I gotta go, I have dinner planned with Nathan. See you around!'
'Alright, bye Twilly!' Both of them waved at her.
'So... what now?' Asriel asked.
'It's good to see him change for the better. Now, he's a good guy, he's a famous celebrity, and he's charming in his own way. Well, not as charming as you, though.'
As they walked to the balcony of the castle upstairs, they were still talking.
'Do you think you guys would have been great together instead of us?' He questioned.
'Hmmm, I don't know... He can't be my special someone now,' Frisk replied. 'But, one thing's for sure.' She added as she walked closer to the edge, holding the rail.
'What is it?'
She looked at the night sky, and her heart was filled with warmth. Holding her hands close to it, she thought of her friend.
