I woke up this morning by the sun’s rays. I turned to my side, and as expected, I found lavender Alicorn sleeping beside me. It was great to just wake up with the one you love beside you. While I thought of this, Twilight began to wake up. When she opened those beautiful, lavender eyes, she gave me a smile.

“Good morning, Twi” I said.

“Morning Flutters. Are you ready for a new day?”

“When you are” I said before getting up and she followed suit.

Why were we in the same bed? Well, we just decided to have a little sleepover. Nothing much, we just a had a good chat, and fell asleep. And because Spike didn’t want to leave Twilight, he came along. Although, I’m guessing he just wanted to spend some time with Bunny. Twilight thought the same way when he brought along a story book from the castle’s bookshelves to read to Bunny.

When we came downstairs, we saw the cutest thing after last night. There, on the couch, were a sleeping Bunny and Spike! Both of them were in a sitting position. Bunny’s head was pillowed on Spike’s shoulder. Spike had a book on his lap. From what we could tell was that they must’ve fallen asleep while reading the story.

“Hey, Flutters?”

“Hmm?”

“Wanna wake them up?”

I chuckled. “I’ll get the camera”

Believe it or not, Bunny always makes me and Twilight blush from embarrassment when she says a joke for us. She is afterall, mischievous at times. And she is seven years old, making her a playful child. And this pose she and Spike were in, totally priceless! Atleast we have a way to make them feel red in the face for once.

“Spike? Spike, wake up” Twilight whispered, tapping the dragon.

Spike groaned from the tapping. But when he heard something flashed, he opened his eyes. He was staring with eyes wide because I just took a picture.

“What’s with the picture?” he asked.

I giggled, “Look who’s on your shoulder”

Spike raised an eyebrow, before his went wide from the purring sound Bunny made. He looked to his side to see my apprentice, sleeping on his shoulder. He blushed from embarrassment as me and Twilight broke into laughter.

He tried to shake Bunny awake, “Bunny! Bunny, wake up!”

My apprentice just opened her beady eyes, and rubbed one of them. “Yes, Spike?”

Before long, she noticed the position she was in. She immediately got off, and scampered to the other side of the couch. “Oops! Sorry about that, Spike!”

“No worries! You fell asleep while I read the story and I didn’t even bother!” his face was now as red as a tomato.

After that, we all had our breakfast. I fed the animals while Twilight kept laughing at the picture I took of Spike and Bunny. Spike kept rambling and making up excuses, even with his face already red. Bunny just watched the whole scenario while she fed Angel. Oddly enough, Bunny didn’t even have a hint of blush on her. Maybe another side effect of being Love Immune?

“Okay, I guess I’ll see you later then, right?” Twilight asked me when we approached her castle.

“You know it” I said before giving her a kiss on the cheek.

“I’m still getting used to your new confidence”

“I love you, Twilight”

“I love you too, Fluttershy”

We both shared a good kiss before pulling away, considering that since Bunny and Spike were just here, guess who’s gonna throw up? Twilight and Spike went back into the castle. I walked Bunny with a leash on our way to the Police. Why were we at Police? Well…

“You ready for the first day of your job, Bunny?”

“You bet”

“Just remember, rely on your Tracking Senses but keep your true self to a minimum”

“I know”

Yes, that’s right. Bunny has a job at the Police Department, as a Sniffer Rabbit. We were fully aware that since she always had this energy in her, she should have a way to bring it out, but in a way that doesn’t expose her cover. And since the Police was in need of more Sniffer animals, and she has her Tracking Senses, she would fit the job well. They found it weird at first, for her to be in the job since she was a rabbit. But when they put her through her through the test to see if she qualified, she passed with flying colors and set a new record in the Department. They decided to make her the partner of a rookie so he can get some help.

“Ah, there you are, Miss Fluttershy. Have you brought Bunny?” the chief asked.

“I have, come on, Bunny” I took the leash off my apprentice. She nuzzled my hoof before facing the chief.

She saluted, “Sniffer Rabbit Bunny, reporting for duty”

“Just in time, young Sniffer. Thunder Cloud, fall in”

A dark grey Pegasus with a red mane came in. He wore the uniform a rookie of the police normally does. His eyes were a shade of green. He gave the chief a salute, “Rookie Thunder Cloud, reporting for duty”

“Rookie and Sniffer, at ease” he said as they both dropped their arms from the salute. “Alright, remember Rookie, you and your Sniffer are supposed to work together. Try to get to know each other more”

“Yes, sir” Thunder Cloud then approached my apprentice. He carefully stuck out his hoof, and then looked to me as if asking for permission.

I nodded, “Go ahead, you’ll see how much fun she can be once you get to know her”

Thunder Cloud then nervously came near enough to pet Bunny. I could tell he was scared when he closed his eyes as his hoof finally reached Bunny’s head. “Good rabbit” he whispered.

Before he could react, Bunny licked him in the face and began to act like a happy dog.

“See? She’s friendly, but can be the opposite when needed” I said.

Thunder Cloud began to get used to Bunny. “I can see why she protects you”

I nodded before I pet Bunny and headed to the door. “I’ll see you later, okay?”

I walked, knowing while Bunny had her job, I had to spend time with Rarity. Sure, I got used to having my apprentice with me so long that I almost feel empty without her, but she will be fine.

“Fluttershy, wait!”

I turned my head around to see Bunny running to me. I was confused for that moment, what’s with her? Was she feeling upset? My thoughts were interrupted when she took jumped and placed what I thought was a necklace on me. It was a rather weird one, really. It resembled a red pepper, but it was smaller and had a few black markings on it.

“It’s one of my whistles” she said as it hid itself perfectly, as though camouflaged. “If you need any help, or ran into trouble, just blow it, and I will come”

I looked at Bunny, and I could tell she was feeling fearful about something. I could tell she just wanted to keep me safe.

I gave her a slight pet on the head to calm her. “It’s okay, Bunny. And thank you””

I began to trot to where me and rarity always spent our day bonding, Ponyville Spa. As I walked there, I kept wondering, why did Bunny seem afraid? What did she mean by trouble? Was she having another Vision that meant something bad? Whatever it is, I sure hope this whistle comes in handy. As I approached the door, I had an odd feeling. It was almost as though somepony was watching me. I turned around, and nopony was there. I decided to shrug it off and enter the Spa.

I was greeted by Aloe. “Oh! Good morning, Miss Fluttershy!”

“Good morning, Aloe. Where’s Rarity? Am I late?”

“Actually, you’re just in time. Miss Rarity just took a break and went to the bathroom, but she said you could go in the hot tub without her for now. She even told us to use this little Fur Conditioner; she said she wants to make sure your coat is in tip-top shape”

“Well, I guess it’s nice to see that, although I’ll be fine without it”

“Oh, but she insists, Miss Fluttershy”

“Well, okay” and with that, Aloe began to pour the contents in the water. It was a beautiful pink, and smelled sweet. I began to relax in the smell as Aloe walked away.

I heard her whisper, “Sweet dreams, Miss Fluttershy”

I was surprised at that. What did she mean? “Aloe…” but I didn’t get to finish my sentence when the smell of the liquid kicked in, and I fell asleep.

I woke up groggy and groaning. I had no idea how long was I out, nor did I care much. All I remember was Aloe whispering me sweet dreams, the smell of a pink Fur Conditioner, and falling asleep. As I opened my eyes, my vision was at first blurry. But then, as it began to clear up, I felt a small tingle of fear in me. I tried to shake it off, but something else behind me just made that harder. I looked behind me to see I was strapped in place on a steel table. It bonded up my hooves and neck so I couldn’t turn around.

Where am I, and why am I strapped on a table?

It didn’t take long for me to look around and see where I was. From the looks of it, it was a basement. It was dark and I barely saw anything. I could only make out one silhouette. I watched as the taller one approached me. Only when they got closer was when I realized who it was.

“Hello, darling! So glad you could make it!”

It was Rarity. For a moment, I felt calm because I know Rarity. Maybe she knows what happened.

“Rarity, where am I? Why can’t I move?” I asked.

“Well, that’s because you’re strapped down, darling”

“But, why? Rarity, what’s going on?”

“Oh, Fluttershy, you’re always the curious one! No worries, I just need your help so may be able to chat with Twilight”

I felt fear in my spine again. Why would she trap me if she was after Twilight? “Wait, why Twilight?”

“Because, my darling Fluttershy, well, I need to make my point”

I was struggling again. “Rarity, come on, this isn’t funny.”

“Then why were you laughing?” Before I could answer, Rarity grabbed the cloth and whipped it off the cart. On the cart was a tray containing various sharp medical tools and knives, carefully organized and wickedly sharp, as well as a large medical bag.

I was now in full panic mode. I was starting to hyperventilate. My mind raced as I tried to reason with the marshmallow pony. “You can’t do this, Rarity! I’m your friend! Rarity please, I’m sorry if I did anything to you. I didn’t mean it. Please let me go. I promise I won’t tell anybody.”

“Oh, Fluttershy, we can’t turn back now.”

I was tearing up. How could this be happening?

“Aww, don’t be sad, Fluttershy,” said Rarity.

I didn’t have anything to say. I just sobbed and writhed in my tight bonds. Was this the same Unicorn I used to be close with? I couldn’t even tell if she was still my friend. I didn’t even have the time to react when I felt something cold and sharp against my skin. It felt…pointy. When I looked down, my eyes widened in horror to the object. It was a scalpel.

“Rarity, what are you doing?” I asked, fear in my voice. She wouldn’t. She couldn’t.

“Oh, this should work well” she said, before I felt the blade cut through my flesh. She went directly for my cutie mark. The marshmallow pony gripped a scalpel in the cleft of her hoof and walked over to my right flank. Without any flair, Rarity placed the blade an inch above my cutie mark and began a circular cut around it. I shouted in pain and tried desperately to pull away, but the braces held me still. Finishing the incision, Rarity grabbed a curved skinning knife from the tray. Screwing up her face in concentration, she worked it under my skin and sliced the hide away from the muscle. I ground my teeth as I tearfully watched my flesh peel off. Rarity then moved to the other side and repeated the process on my left flank. Once she had finished, Rarity held up both cutie marks in front of me. I just whimpered. My thighs burned like nothing I had felt before. She then put both down on the table

“Rarity, please no” I tried through the pain. “Why are you doing this?”

“Because, dear. You know we each have our little secrets of why we are what we” she then came closer, like in a position where one could pin you. I felt a shiver up my spine when I heard her whisper in my ear, “And here’s my little secret; I want Twilight”

She…wanted my marefriend? I mean, I noticed her interest in Twilight before during the “Fanciness Elevated” Party. But, she would go so far as to kill one of her own friends?! It’s just not like her. She’s the Bearer of the Element of Generosity, and my best friend. But, from the look in her eyes, she was really serious.

“The bleeding in your flank will eventually kill you, and then, Twilight shall be mine!” Rarity cackled out. “And don’t worry, darling. I’ll make sure none of your fur goes to waste when I turn it into a coat”

My head snapped up. “A coat?! But, why would you turn me into a coat?!”

“Well, Fluttershy, it’s obvious that there are some things which Twilight likes about you physically. I, for one, believe she just loves you for your color. Come to think of it, apart from Bob Bon who is already dating Lyra, you seem to be the only one who is yellow. And Twilight just adores Celestia, whose sun give off that majestic yellow light. So, it makes sense that, she only loves you for your color because you remind her of Celestia’s sun”

I tried to talk back at her, but between the bleeding out and what she said, it was getting hard. “That’s…not true”

“Oh, darling, it’s too hard to accept what is true”

I was beginning to doubt about what she was saying. I used to look upon Rarity as my best friend. But now, all I see is a murderess who is crazy enough to pull off such a crime to obtain love from somepony who already was the lover of another. It was hard to accept this; this mare was no longer my friend. I felt myself weaken as I bled. It was all too much. I’m sorry, everypony. I’m sorry, Poison Rose, Rainbow, Twilight, and Bunny…

Bunny, I thought. The whistle she gave me!

I knew I felt too weak from the amount of blood lose, but I just had this one last chance. This was my last hope. I saw the whistle just made it seen, as though it was aware of the situation. It took some trying and struggling as Rarity watched in amusement. But I finally got the end of the whistle in my mouth. With a strong breath, I blew on it for as hard as I could.

“Nice try, but it’s too deep down here that nopony could hear you” Rarity mused.

But she was so wrong when there were knocks on the door. It was very fast and loud, like there was an angry mob outside. After a second of pounding, it broke open, sending large parts of the door flying. It was a relief to see who came; the Police, and Bunny with them. I can tell they were all led by her when she heard it. I wasn’t able to hear and see much of what happened next as I felt weaker.

The last thing I knew was I felt paws trying to break my bonds, and a voice calling to me,

Fluttershy, hang on…Hang on

And then I blacked out.

I was sure I was a goner by now. I woke up in a room of pitch black and darkness, nopony was there except me. I opened my eyes to see I was no longer in the basement, just a dark room. I looked to see that my thighs were no longer cut up, but fully healed. I looked around to see a Skeleton-like creature in a suit, Skeleton Jack, Bunny’s uncle. Was I dead? Was he about to guide me to where I’m supposed to pass on?

He shook his head, “No, not yet. You must return”

I felt relieved from that. It wasn’t my time yet, thank goodness. Skeleton Jack then seemed to point at right behind me. I turned around to see what he meant. I looked down to see what looked like the inside of a hospital room. I, or rather my body, was on hospital bed, eyes closed. There was an IV drip attached to one of my hooves, and a screen on the other side which seemed to show my heartbeat. I also noticed I wasn’t alone since two were in the room with me, Twilight and Bunny.

Bunny was in a praying position in a corner with a cross. She seemed very upset and looked almost as though she choked back tears and sobs every now and then. I could tell she was praying that I would wake up.

Twilight had her head pillowed on the bed, her front hooves covering her face as she cried. She looked as though she was already mourning. I just wanted to go right to her now and hug her.

I looked to Skeleton Jack, as I wanted to go back. He nodded with a smile. All I saw next was a blinding light.

I opened my eyes as the light swarmed my vision. It took me a while to get accustomed to the light. I finally got see what was going on. The entire room looked exactly as the way I saw it from above. I looked to my right to find Twilight, still sobbing her eyes out. I wanted to move my hoof to comfort her, but even that took some trying. I noticed then that my skin turned a bit pale, probably from the whole ordeal. I finally got to raise my hoof and caress Twilight’s mane.

“T-Twilight?” I whispered my voice a bit raspy.

Her ears seemed to perk up at that. She turned her head up as I pulled my hoof back. “Fluttershy, you’re alive!” she said as she hugged me.

“Mistress!” I heard Bunny’s voice call out as I felt her hug me too. “Oh, praise the Lord. I’m gonna go call the others”

I felt Twilight release me as Bunny ran out of the room and practically down the hall. Twilight smiled as she laid me back down. I always loved it when she held me, but, I kept thinking about what Rarity mentioned earlier.

So, it makes sense that, she only loves you for your color because you remind her of Celestia’s sun, her voice still echoed in my head.

“Is something wrong, Flutters?”

I looked up to see Twilight’s face, full of concern. I knew rarity was mad at that point, but I began to question myself if Twilight only loved me for my color. Let’s not forget, I was about to made into a coat.

“See girls?” Bunny’s voice rang out. “I told you she made it!”

Twilight and I turned to see the rest of the gang.

Spike wiped a sweat of fear from his head. “Phew! For a second there, I thought you were a goner! You should’ve seen how upset everypony was!”

Rainbow flew right above us. “Oh I’m so glad I didn’t lose my little sister”

“Ya’ll should’ve seen how soft Dashie got when she thought ya’ll were about to die” Applejack smirked.

“I would’ve cried for a week if you went bye-bye!” Pinkie cried out.

My head shot up at that. “What do you mean, I was about to die?”

Bunny seemed to just appear to my side. “Well, about that, you see…”

“…and then that was when we all got here” Bunny finished.

“Well, that explains it all. Aloe and the others were part of it all along?” I asked.

Bunny nodded. “Now, Ponyville Spa has been closed down for good and all the employees went to jail along with Rarity, all lost their license for spa duty. My guess is that there are gonna be a lot of ponies who are gonna be cranky for a massage”

Everypony giggled at Bunny’s joke.

“One thing I don’t get though, WHY DID SHE TRY TO TURN YOU INTO A COAT?!” my apprentice raised her arms wide to express.

I looked down at that; the reason why was making me upset and unsure now.

“Oh! I’m sorry about that”

“No, Bunny it’s okay”

“Fluttershy, what’s wrong? Do you know why?” Twilight asked me.

I looked away as to try and avoid the question.

My efforts proved futile when Twilight’s hoof lifted my face and caused me to look at her. “Fluttershy, please. You can tell us”

I gave up. “She said that she was gonna turn me into a coat so she can wear me and get you love her”

“WHAT?!”

“She told me you only love me because I was the only single mare left who was color yellow. And that you only loved me for my color because it reminded you of Princess Celestia”

“Fluttershy…”

“I’m trying to believe that it’s not true, but it keeps ringing in my head”

“Fluttershy…”

I stopped my rambling and faced Twilight; she had a sad look in her eyes. I had no time to react when she pulled me in for a kiss. It was a very long one and she closed her eyes and wouldn’t let go. I found it a surprise, but I soon closed my eyes too and joined her for the kiss. I don’t even care right now that Bunny was covering her eyes or that everypony else was watching. After a few seconds, we pulled away from the kiss.

“She’s wrong, Flutters” Twilight said, her hoof caressing my mane. “I love you for who you are, not just how you look. I love every part that makes you you. You’re sweet, you’re caring, and you’re kind. If anypony just tells you I love you physically in any way, they’re just jealous”

I blinked some tears off. “Thank you, Twi”

“Are you guys done?!” Bunny’s voice rang out, catching our attention. We looked to see she was still covering her eyes. “I don’t want to puke again!”

I chuckled at my apprentice’s behavior. I moved my hoof to her, until I was within reach of her neck. Without warning, I scratched the back of Bunny’s neck. She flinched a bit, but began to enjoy it. I rubbed against her neck, then the back of her ear, before I went in for the best part, an area under her head. When I did, her eyes went wide and she fell on my side. She purred as her eyes closed and she smiled, she looked like she was taking a nap.

“What did you do?” Twilight asked, trying not to giggle.

“Oh, that? It’s just a little thing I just recently found out about her. I gave her a belly rub one time and tried to see how she reacts in various spots when scratched. Eventually I found that if I rub on her on the neck, the back of her ear, and then a certain part of bellow her head, she goes into that Happy Limbo for a while. She’s fully conscious, and can sense Visions when needed”

Spike seemed to approach the now Happy Limbo Bunny. “Can you show me how to do that?”

“Maybe some other time”

“Um, excuse me?” Nurse Redheart’s voice rang out. “Am I interrupting something?”

“No, it’s fine” Twilight said.

“Good. Miss Fluttershy, may I check your wound?”

I nodded a little. She went over to me and slightly lifted the blanket. I can tell she gasped a little.

“Everything okay, Nurse?” Rainbow asked.

“One second” she said before darting outside. A moment later, she came back in. “Miss Sparkle, may talk to you for a moment?”

Twilight nodded. She gave me a kiss on the cheek before leaving. We couldn’t really hear what was going on from the other side, but it seemed serious. I tried to keep my mind off it by focusing on something else. And that was when I heard something.

I turned my head to the side to see Bunny, at first she was just purring like normal. But then, I noticed she began to look upset, like she felt something wrong. I thought she may just be having a bad dream, but then she began to move about, as though squirming. She even mumbling something, and holding her head.

“Bunny, are you okay?” I whispered as soft as I could to try not to frighten her so much. She only wiggled and whimpered in response.

Spike approached the Limbo alien cautiously, before putting his claw on her back. “Bunny, what’s going on? Are you having a Vision about Rarity?”

At the mention of the Unicorn’s name, Bunny’s ears perked up and she opened her eyes wide. What’s worse, she began to growl like a wild animal, not like her normal growl. Her eyes weren’t their normal cerulean; they turned completely black like somepony pulled them out. She then glared at Spike; the baby dragon just cowered when he saw what just happened to his best friend.

“Bunny? Are oka-“but he didn’t get to finish his sentence when he was pinned to the wall beside me. Spike was frightened when he opened his eyes to see the face of my apprentice. I don’t know what’s wrong with her. Just a while back, she was a Happy Limbo Servant, now she’s gone Savage.

“Bunny, what are you…” Spike tried calling out her name, but she just went mad.

“LOOK AT WHAT YOU DID TO HER, RARITY!” Bunny’s yelled in anger, her tones no longer like her cute one, and it turned completely like a lion’s growl.

“Rarity? Bunny, it’s me, Spike! Rarity is in jail…” Spike tried to speak to her.

She didn’t seem to listen. “YOU THINK THIS IS FUNNY?! WHEN I’M DONE WITH YOU, YOU’LL SO REGRET THAT YOU KILLED FLUTTERSHY!”

“Bunny, listen to me! Fluttershy’s fine! You must be having a…”

“DON’T YOU GET IT?! WHEN YOU CUT HER IN THE THIGH, YOU CUT A VITAL NERVE AND NOW SHE BLED TO DEATH WE THOUGHT SHE WAS FINE UNTIL IT GOT WORSE AND MADE ITSELF KNOWN! IF YOU DIDN’T LET YOUR JEALOUSY GET THE BEST OF YOU, SHE WOULD BE FINE AND NOW…” Bunny’s fangs began to show themselves, and grew larger and sharper. “…YOU’LL HAVE TO TELL HER WE SAY HELLO!”

At that, I finally knew what was going on with her. Now I know how to wake her up and snap her out of it. And my reaction time was perfect; she was about to bite Spike! I finally reached in and hit her on the head as hard as I could. I know that may hurt her in this state, but it’s the only way to wake her up.

The trick worked as expected; Bunny let go of Spike and held her head and groaned for a few seconds in pain. Spike just shook off the fear as he seemingly prayed that she would go back to normal. It took a while, but she finally opened her eyes. They were back to their normal cerulean. She got back on her paws and shook her head as though she came out of a dream. After a few seconds, she looked at Spike in confusion, and then just panicked.

“Oh my goodness!” she said, back in her normal tone. “Spike, I am so sorry!”

Spike quivered in response, he didn’t even answer Bunny.

Bunny looked down. “Oh, he’s scared of me now, isn’t he?”

Spike snapped out of his fear-induced trance. “B-Bunny? Is that really you?”

“I just hope you can forgive me. I was in a Daze! I’m sorry!”

“Yep, that’s definitely you” Spike said, picking my apprentice up and pulling her in for a hug. “Only the real and normal Bunny gets that emotional when she does mistakes”

“Does that mean you forgive me?”

“You’re too cute for me to stay mad at you, and like you said, you were in a Daze. What is a Daze in your speak anyway?”

“A Daze is when a Servant is in Happy Limbo for a moment, senses a Vision, and starts to whimper. If it gets provoked like somepony tries to wake them up, their eyes turn black and their voice goes weird. They also tend to act as though it was real and that they were there. One way to wake them up is by bonking them on the head” Twilight said upon going back inside the room. “In this case, it was about Rarity and she thought you were her”

“Okay, but that doesn’t explain why you mistaken me for Rarity”

“You smell a bit like her”

“And how does she smell like?”

“Mostly gemstones”

“What did the Nurse say?” I asked so as to avoid a freak out.

“She said that you may have to stay here for a while, and they have to make daily check-ups on you to avoid accidents. You had a really deep cut”

I nodded. “Bunny, what did you see?”

My apprentice just looked down. “I’m not supposed to say”

“I’m sorry, everypony” Nurse Redheart said upon entering the room. “But visiting hours are almost over”

Twilight seemed disappointed, but I nodded to her to assure it’ll be okay. With a sigh, she gave me one last kiss on the cheek before leaving with the others. “See you tomorrow, Flutters”

“Okay, Twi”

Redheart counted them as they left. “Okay, there’s Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Spike, Twilight Sparkle…” her eyes widened at the last part. “Wait a minute! Where’s Bunny?”

We heard a small whimper. Redheart looked under the bed to see where my apprentice hid herself. “Miss Bunny, you must understand, but your Mistress Fluttershy needs her rest”

“I don’t wanna go! I wanna stay here with Fluttershy!” her voice rang out.

“Bunny, please”

But my apprentice just zipped to my side. “I want to stay!” she cried like a baby as she hugged my left hoof.

“You’re afraid that Rarity would come back to finish her off, aren’t you?”

Bunny nodded, hugging me tighter.

Redheart sighed. “Miss Fluttershy, would you like that Bunny stay with you? She seems attached to you”

I looked at my apprentice as she begged with her eyes. “Um, if that’s not a problem”

“Well, okay. But she needs to wear a leash”

Without waiting, Bunny grabbed her leash, put it on, and tied it to the bedpost. “Done!”

“Okay, goodnight. Now, try and get some sleep you two” Redheart said, closing the door. “I could’ve sworn you looked bigger”

I furrowed my eye a little at that. I looked to see what she meant. “Bunny, you don’t have to shrink to the size of a baby rabbit to show you’re afraid” I said as my apprentice grew back to normal size.

“I’m just scared of the Vision”

“We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it, my little alien” I said, petting her. “Now, get some rest”

“Yes, Mistress” Bunny said as she curled up on the bed and slowly closed her eyes.

Over the past few weeks, everything seemed fine. I didn’t even need to worry about the animals as Bunny assigned Dino and her pets to watch over them. Twilight and the others made their visits, there were regular check-ups to make sure things were fine, and I hadn’t heard from Rarity in a long time since. Things look like they were just alright, well, until one day…

“If I don’t make it, Twilight, do me a favor” I said to her.

“Yes, Flutters?”

“Take care of Bunny for me”

She looked at me in confusion.

“When the Master or Mistress of the Servant dies, the Servant must return to E-arth, whether they finished their mission or not. And I don’t want Bunny to leave like the way she did with Poltrust. Servants can still stay if another one, who is close to the Master or Mistress, takes them in. Poltrust didn’t have anypony to watch her after he died so she had to leave”

Twilight looked at Bunny, then back at me.

“Please, Twilight” I said, holding onto her hoof. “My animals will leave if I die, but I want that Bunny finishes her mission”

Twilight just looked at me, before she finally decided. “Okay, I’ll make sure she’s safe”

“Thank you, Twi”

Before I could react, she kissed me and held on. I was surprised at first, but gladly kissed back. We were in that for a while as Bunny covered her eyes. When we pulled away, we just stared deeply into each other’s eyes.

Then I felt something wrong. I coughed a little, but it became worse. I felt something in my throat, and I coughed it out. It came out to be my own blood. We stared in horror at what was happening. What’s happening? I tried to calm down, but I kept coughing up my own blood.

It was a nice morning that fateful day. I woke up by the sun’s rays as it flooded Fluttershy’s bedroom. Why was in Fluttershy’s cottage? Well, it was just a simple sleepover. Spike came along too, practically because he wanted to spend time with Bunny. Anyway, I woke up to see a pair of beautiful, cerulean looking at me. I smiled at the sight of my marefriend.

“Good morning, Twi” Fluttershy greeted me.

“Morning, Flutters” I greeted back. “Are you ready for a new day?”

“When you are” she said before getting up and I followed suit.

“Hey, Flutters?”

“Hmm?”

“Wanna wake them up?”

I heard her chuckled. “I’ll get the camera”

Believe it or not, Bunny always makes me and Fluttershy blush from embarrassment when she says a joke for us. She is afterall, mischievous at times. And she sometimes seems to do it because she can show off that she doesn’t have to be embarrassed since she can’t feel it. And this pose she and Spike were in, totally priceless! Atleast we have a way to make them feel red in the face for once. And if they fell asleep mid-way in the story, it’s payback time!

“Spike? Spike, wake up” I whispered, tapping the dragon.

Spike groaned from the tapping. But when he heard something flashed, he opened his eyes. He was staring with eyes wide because Fluttershy just took a picture.

“What’s with the picture?” he asked.

My marefriend giggled, “Look who’s on your shoulder”

Spike raised an eyebrow, before his went wide from the purring sound Bunny made. He looked to his side to see the alien, sleeping on his shoulder. He blushed from embarrassment as me and Fluttershy broke into laughter.

He tried to shake Bunny awake, “Bunny! Bunny, wake up!”

She just opened her beady eyes, and rubbed one of them. “Yes, Spike?”

Before long, she noticed the position she was in. She immediately got off, and scampered to the other side of the couch. “Oops! Sorry about that, Spike!”

“No worries! You fell asleep while I read the story and I didn’t even bother!” his face was now as red as a tomato.

I knew it!

After that, we all had our breakfast. Fluttershy fed the animals while I kept laughing at the picture she took of Spike and Bunny. Spike kept rambling and making up excuses, even with his face already red. Bunny just watched the whole scenario while she fed Angel. Oddly enough, Bunny didn’t even have a hint of blush on her. Maybe another side effect of being Love Immune?

“Okay, I guess I’ll see you later then, right?” I asked Fluttershy when we approached my castle.

“You know it” she said before giving me a kiss on the cheek.

“I’m still getting used to your new confidence”

“I love you, Twilight”

“I love you too, Fluttershy”

We both shared a good kiss before pulling away, considering that since Bunny and Spike were just here, guess who’s gonna throw up? I and Spike went back into the castle. Fluttershy walked Bunny with a leash on their way to the Police, Bunny’s new part-time job here. I gave Fluttershy the idea because it may be nice for Bunny to use her abilities to fix things around here. It was quite easy, as she passed the test well and is now a Sniffer Rabbit. But due to her uncommonness, she was put in charge of rookies. I just hoped I may see Fluttershy later at the meeting with the others later. Oddly enough, when I thought of Fluttershy, I had a weird feeling. It felt like something bad was gonna happen. My head snapped back to reality when I noticed Spike staring blankly at the road my marefriend and her apprentice took.

“Aww, you like her, don’t you?” I snickered at him.

He blushed from that. “No, she’s just my best friend”

“Really?”

“Really!”

“Really?”

“Twilight, you know I love Rarity! Bunny’s just a friend”

I chuckled.

He tried to change the topic. “So, what’s the schedule today?”

“Well, we already had breakfast so that’s off the list. Now, we clean the library and start getting ready for the meeting today. Remember, we’re looking for a way to fix the Cutie Map completely”

“Got it” Spike said as he took that down on the scroll he was carrying. “Well, if you need me, I’ll be in the Throne Room”

“Thanks, Spike”

For the rest of time, I just went to unpack what we took last night. Nothing much, just the usual; scrolls, notepad, quills, the book we took. When I asked Spike if he and Bunny finished the story, he just nodded quickly before resuming to his sweeping. I knew he would do that; he was afraid to tell me they fell asleep mid-way. I just decided to move to the other room to add in the notes I got from Bunny that night. Yep, I had a book to keep what I learn about her. Don’t worry; it’s in a very secure place that Bunny enchanted to make sure the cat is not out of the bag.

Last night, we just learned about Dazes and how a Servant acts in it. I just hope that since they were different Visions, they would be atleast kept to a minimum if it happens in public. Dazes were a whole more different than Visions. Visions cause Servants’ eyes to turn white while they chant in Latin the prophecy. Dazes make their eyes turn black while they tend to act what they saw. Visions stop and make a Servant faint, but in Dazes, you have to hit her on the head to make them normal again.

By the time I was almost finished with summarizing the notes I took from Bunny, there was already a knock on the door. I quickly went to it to see who came first. I opened it to see that it was Rainbow Dash and Applejack.

“Heya, Twilight!”

“Howdy, Twilight!”

“Hey girls, so glad of you to come”

“No problem! Are we late? Rainbow took a while to wake up”

The cyan Pegasus blushed. “Hehe?”

“No, in fact, you’re just first ones who came. Please, come in” I said.

“Thank you, Twi. How was the sleepover with Fluttershy?”

“It was fine, but you should’ve seen what we came downstairs to” I giggled at the memory.

“We were asleep, okay?!” Spike’s voice echoed through the entire castle.

I finally finished transferring the notes to the book and hid it where it would be protected. I went to the Throne Room to see that there were only four of us inside; Spike, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie.

“Where are the others?”

“Rarity and Fluttershy may be at the Spa today” Applejack said.

“Don’t you think she would send Bunny ahead of them to tell us they may be a little late?” I asked

“Bunny’s got a part-time job at the Police Department, remember?” Spike mused.

“Says the dragon who woke up with her sleeping on the shoulder”

Spike blushed again.

“Ooh!” Pinkie chimed in. “Does our little Spikey-Wikey suddenly have eyes for Bunny-Wunny? Why didn’t you tell us, Spike? It would be fun to see this for the first time, a dragon and an alien! Wait, isn’t Bunny Love Immune? Are you cheating on Rarity?”

“Bunny’s just my friend, and I love Rarity. I was just reading a story with her when we fell asleep, okay?! Case closed!”

Everypony giggled.

Just then, we heard a door open. Was there an intruder? Was somepony sent by Celestia to give an urgent message? Was there an emergency? We looked to see who came inside. There, at the entrance, was Bunny. She looked very upset, her uniform collar still on and tears in her eyes. She looked like she was going to a funeral.

“Bunny?” Spike called as her approached her. “What’s wrong?”

“Why would she do this?” the alien said between the sniffles.

“Why? Bunny, what’s wrong?”

“Fluttershy…almost killed…bleeding…hospital…terribly” Bunny choked through the sobs.

My head jerked at that. Fluttershy was almost killed? No wonder she’s so upset.

“What?!” Spike exclaimed. “But…but who did…” he was about to continue, but the state in which his friend was in made it clear she wasn’t okay to speak.

“You can tell us along the way when you can” I said, levitating both her and Spike on my back. “Spike, you help her calm down”

Spike nodded before he hugged Bunny, rocking her to atleast try to get her to stop. “Shh, it’s okay, Bunny” he cooed, petting her. “It’ll be fine”

Worried about my own marefriend, I ran with the others heading to Ponyville Hospital. I could tell everypony had their own reactions aside from Bunny’s outburst and Spike’s tearing up. Pinkie wasn’t looking like her normal, poofy self. Applejack was wide-eyed. And Rainbow Dash looked like she was about to explode with anger when she gets her hooves on who did something so cruel to her sister. I, of course, was getting both upset and enraged. Who would do such a thing to Fluttershy? Making her cry is one thing, but killing her?! Boy, when I get my hooves on who did this, I’m going to send them to Tartarus! We burst through the door, and Spike and Bunny got off my back.

“Where’s Fluttershy?” I asked out loud.

Rather than an answer, an ambulance arrived and out came a yellow mare in a stretcher; she was pushed by the orderlies into the E.R. From the sight, I could tell why Bunny was so upset. Fluttershy’s thighs were bleeding; the skin was gone. There was a gas mask on her muzzle, and a life support system showing her vital signs. Her eyes were closed, and dried tears were evident on the sides of her face.

“Sorry, misses. You can’t pass through here”

“But my friend is in there! You have to let me through!” Rainbow cried as she was held back by one of the orderlies. I just stood there in shock, tearing up from the state my love was in.

“I’m sorry, miss Dash. But all you can do now is let the doctors do the work, and hope for the best”

“Hope for the best?! She’s bleeding badly!” I could hear Rainbow’s voice booming for her sister’s fate.

“Sorry, but you must wait in the Waiting Room. We’ll do the best we can”

I could see that Dash was about to charge, but Applejack held her back. It took quite a while of restraining, but Dash finally gave up as the doors closed and she collapsed on the floor, sobbing hysterically. Applejack hugged her, and tried her best to comfort her.

“Twilight, are okay?” Spike asked me. I didn’t answer as I just broke down in tears.

“Why?” I sobbed. “Who?”

For the next few minutes, we all just waited there in the Waiting Room, hoping Fluttershy would be alright. Everypony had their own way of showing their worry. Applejack held Rainbow Dash close in a hug to make her stop crying about her sister for a minute. Rainbow just passed out from her sobbing a while back and was now just asleep in Applejack’s hooves. Pinkie tried her best to make us be optimistic that she would be alright. Spike just kept comforting Bunny until she stopped and looked at the floor blankly. I just kept thinking about what Fluttershy was going through.

I finally broke the silence. “Bunny, do know what happened before you reached the castle?”

Bunny nodded. “I was just having a normal day with Thunder Cloud, the one I’m working with. All of the sudden, I heard Fluttershy blowing the whistle I gave her and immediately reported the others and lead them to the source. What we saw in Rarity’s basement horrified me”

Spike’s eyes shot up. “Wait, Rarity?”

Bunny nodded. “Rarity was the one who tried to kill Fluttershy”

I was shocked to hear that. “Are you sure? That’s not like her to hurt her best friend”

Bunny shut her eyes tightly. “I saw it with my own eyes! She had a scalpel in her hooves, dripping with Fluttershy’s blood!”

I noticed she was about to break down again. “Go on”

“We fought her off; I bit her to make her sleep. The police called the ambulance while the chief allowed me to go tell you girls, knowing I was close to her. He said I can come back later if I found something. Then, I just ran to the castle crying. And you know the rest”

I nodded, patting Bunny to keep her from crying again. Spike seemed to be in shock. Finally, the door opened and Nurse Redheart’s head poked out.

“Please, tell me, is she gonna make it?” I asked her as I approached.

She looked down. “We don’t know for sure if she lives or not. She lost a huge amount of blood, and her skin is ghostly pale. We did our best, now it’s up to her”

I nodded.

“We did however; hear her whispering something while in operation. I don’t know if I got it right though, but I guess it was…” she paused for a minute before remembering. “Rarity, why?”

Everypony gasped in surprise. Rarity was the killer? That just can’t be true; she was Fluttershy’s best friend.

“Can we go see her?” I asked as Bunny hopped to my side.

“Sure, she’s in Room 7B, but still unconscious”

“Thank you. You coming, Spike?”

He shook his head. “Not until she wakes up”

“Okay. Bunny, what about you?”

She nodded. “While we’re there, I’ll try to see her memories to see if it’s really true”

We were escorted by Nurse Redheart to where Fluttershy was. All the while, we walked by and noticed the other rooms with other ponies in various conditions. Some were serious, others were minor. Some were just sick, but others were injured. Some even were about to be discharged, and others just came in. Some others were even dying. But none of them had the same situation Fluttershy was in.

We finally got to Fluttershy’s room. She was lying on her back, the bedsheets covering her from the waist down. I didn’t even dare to look under the sheets to see the damage. One of her hooves had an IV drip attached and another one hooked to a device that showed her heartbeat. Her eyes were still closed.

The nurse left us alone to take care of some other things. I immediately walked to Fluttershy’s side. I have to admit, even asleep she’s cute. I held her hoof and noticed her skin was indeed paler ans she was a bit cold, like that time with the demon. I began to tear up at the sight of my marefriend. I began to pray mentally that she would survive. She didn’t deserve this.

My thoughts were interrupted when I heard Bunny gasp. I guess I was so caught up with Fluttershy that I didn’t notice Bunny looked through the memories already. I looked up to see she was on the bedpost, just above Fluttershy’s head.

“Well, what did you see?”

“Rarity really did it!” Bunny gasped out. “She was gonna turn her into a coat!” she then turned from shocked to angry. I was in confusion with her behavior when she jumped from the bedpost to the floor. She then marched to the door. “I’m gonna go to the police now that I have more info. You stay here and guard Fluttershy. Tell the others to not go the Spa anymore!”

“Okay” I stopped. “Wait, why?”

“Aloe and the other spa ponies were in on it!” she yelled before she stormed out.

“Okay” I whispered before looking back to Fluttershy. The Spa ponies were in on the plan? What’s going on here? First, Fluttershy is in a fatal state. Then, Rarity is revealed to be the killer. Now, the Spa ponies were the ones who assisted Rarity in the plot? Things are going from bad to worse. I just stayed and wept for my marefriend, praying under my breath for her life.

For a long time, I just stayed, my head on the bed, waiting for any sign of Fluttershy waking up. It was just too much to bear with. Bunny already came back inside. She said nothing as she headed to the corner in the room and placed a cross there to begin praying. I noticed her uniform collar now had a badge. I said nothing as I continued my wait. I felt small movement, before I felt a hoof caressing my mane.

“T-Twilight?” I heard a familiar voice whisper my name.

My ears seemed to perk up at that. I turned her head up as I saw a miracle. “Fluttershy, you’re alive!” I hugged my marefriend, but with care.

“Mistress!” I heard Bunny’s voice call out as I felt her hug her too. “Oh, praise the Lord. I’m gonna go call the others”

I watched as Bunny disappeared down the hallway. I looked over to Fluttershy, but I noticed her cringe a bit. Those made me wonder why she cringed. Did she feel afraid?

“Is something wrong, Flutters?”

She looked up to me.

“See girls?” Bunny’s voice rang out. “I told you she made it!”

Fluttershy and I turned to see the rest of the gang.

Spike wiped a sweat of fear from his head. “Phew! For a second there, I thought you were a goner! You should’ve seen how upset everypony was!”

Rainbow flew right above us. “Oh I’m so glad I didn’t lose my little sister”

“Ya’ll should’ve seen how soft Dashie got when she thought ya’ll were about to die” Applejack smirked.

“I would’ve cried for a week if you went bye-bye!” Pinkie cried out.

Fluttershy seemed shocked. “What do you mean, I was about to die?”

Bunny seemed to just appear to my side. “Well, about that, you see…”

“…and then that was when we all got here” Bunny finished.

“Well, that explains it all. Aloe and the others were part of it all along?” Fluttershy asked.

Everypony giggled at Bunny’s joke.

“One thing I don’t get though, WHY DID SHE TRY TO TURN YOU INTO A COAT?!” the alien raised her arms wide to express.

Fluttershy looked down at that; did Bunny scare her?

“Oh! I’m sorry about that”

“No, Bunny it’s okay”

“Fluttershy, what’s wrong? Do you know why?” I asked Fluttershy.

She looked away as to try and avoid the question.

I knew something was wrong. I used my hoof to make my marefriend look at me. “Fluttershy, please. You can tell us”

She sighed. “She said that she was gonna turn me into a coat so she can wear me and get you love her”

I couldn’t believe what I heard. “WHAT?!”

“She told me you only love me because I was the only single mare left who was color yellow. And that you only loved me for my color because it reminded you of Princess Celestia”

“Fluttershy…”

“I’m trying to believe that it’s not true, but it keeps ringing in my head”

“Fluttershy…”

She finally stopped her rambling and faced me, a sad look in her eyes. I couldn’t believe Rarity said to her that I only loved her for her color. That was not true; Celestia may be my mentor, but I love Fluttershy for who she is. I’d even love her even if she wasn’t yellow. Without warning, I pulled Fluttershy in for a kiss. I closed my eyes and wouldn’t let go. I knew she hesitated for bit, but she finally kissed back. I don’t even care right now that Bunny was covering her eyes or that everypony else was watching. After a few seconds, we pulled away from the kiss.

“She’s wrong, Flutters” I said, my hoof caressing her mane. “I love you for who you are, not just how you look. I love every part that makes you you. You’re sweet, you’re caring, and you’re kind. If anypony just tells you I love you physically in any way, they’re just jealous”

She blinked some tears off. “Thank you, Twi”

“Are you guys done?!” Bunny’s voice rang out, catching our attention. We looked to see she was still covering her eyes. “I don’t want to puke again!”

Shy chuckled at her apprentice’s behavior. She moved her hoof to her, until she was within reach of her neck. Without warning, she scratched the back of Bunny’s neck. She flinched a bit, but began to enjoy it. She rubbed against her neck, then the back of her ear, before she went in an area under her head. When she did, Bunny’s eyes went wide and she fell on her side. She purred as her eyes closed and she smiled, she looked like she was taking a nap.

“What did you do?” I asked, trying not to giggle.

Spike seemed to approach the now Happy Limbo Bunny. “Can you show me how to do that?”

“Maybe some other time”

“Um, excuse me?” Nurse Redheart’s voice rang out. “Am I interrupting something?”

“No, it’s fine” I said.

“Good. Miss Fluttershy, may I check your wound?”

She nodded a little. She went over to the yellow Pegasus and slightly lifted the blanket. I can tell she gasped a little.

“Everything okay, Nurse?” Rainbow asked.

“One second” she said before darting outside. A moment later, she came back in. “Miss Sparkle, may talk to you for a moment?”

I nodded. I gave Fluttershy a kiss on the cheek before leaving.

“Yes, Nurse, what is it?” I asked.

She looked down; I could tell something was wrong. “In your opinion, how do you think Miss Fluttershy will fare?”

“I think she’ll be fine. Why? Is there something wrong?”

“We’re still unsure if Miss Fluttershy will live or not”

“What? But, she’s fine now”

“For now, that is. But we just found that a major nerve has been cut in her left thigh. It’s nice to see she’s awake now, but we’re not sure if she’ll be fine for so long. She may have about an average of a few weeks left before it’s determined. I suggest you enjoy the time left”

“But…but…”

“I’m sorry, but it may be better if you don’t let her know so she may be happy until she knows”

I held back tears as I put a hoof to my mouth. “How will we know?”

“When she starts to cough up her own blood”

I nodded.

“I’ll leave you to her”

She left me there in the hallway. It was just too much to bear. My marefriend was dying, and I couldn’t stop this. I sighed in sorrow. It took a while, but I finally stopped the sadness and headed back to the room. What I saw next was Bunny in a Daze, pinning Spike to the bedpost beside Fluttershy. She looked like was going mad.

Spike struggled. “Bunny, listen to me! Fluttershy’s fine! You must be having a…”

Fluttershy then hit Bunny on the head really hard, causing her to drop Spike and fall on the bedside. The trick worked as expected; Bunny let go of Spike and held her head and groaned for a few seconds in pain. Spike just shook off the fear as he seemingly prayed that she would go back to normal. It took a while, but she finally opened her eyes. They were back to their normal cerulean. She got back on her paws and shook her head as though she came out of a dream. After a few seconds, she looked at Spike in confusion, and then just panicked.

“Oh my goodness!” she said, back in her normal tone. “Spike, I am so sorry!”

Spike quivered in response, he didn’t even answer Bunny.

Bunny looked down. “Oh, he’s scared of me now, isn’t he?”

Spike snapped out of his fear-induced trance. “B-Bunny? Is that really you?”

“I just hope you can forgive me. I was in a Daze! I’m sorry!”

“Yep, that’s definitely you” Spike said, picking the alien up and pulling her in for a hug. “Only the real and normal Bunny gets that emotional when she does mistakes”

“Does that mean you forgive me?”

“You’re too cute for me to stay mad at you, and like you said, you were in a Daze. What is a Daze in your speak anyway?”

“A Daze is when a Servant is in Happy Limbo for a moment, senses a Vision, and starts to whimper. If it gets provoked like somepony tries to wake them up, their eyes turn black and their voice goes weird. They also tend to act as though it was real and that they were there. One way to wake them up is by bonking them on the head” I said upon going back inside the room. “In this case, it was about Rarity and she thought you were her”

“Okay, but that doesn’t explain why you mistaken me for Rarity”

“You smell a bit like her”

“And how does she smell like?”

“Mostly gemstones”

“What did the Nurse say?” Fluttershy asked.

“She said that you may have to stay here for a while, and they have to make daily check-ups on you to avoid accidents. You had a really deep cut”

She nodded. “Bunny, what did you see?”

My apprentice just looked down. “I’m not supposed to say”

“I’m sorry, everypony” Nurse Redheart said upon entering the room. “But visiting hours are almost over”

I was disappointed, but I nodded to her to assure it’ll be okay. I knew it would not be since she was dying. With a sigh, I gave me one last kiss on the cheek before leaving with the others. “See you tomorrow, Flutters”

“Okay, Twi”

I closed the door as me and Spike entered the castle. I noticed he was still shaken from the experience earlier. “You okay, Spike?”

He nodded. “Why wouldn’t I be? I just got mistaken for somepony that my best friend saw in a Daze and she nearly bit me”

“Right and the bite from an alien can kill a dragon”

He nodded again. “But it’s fine. How about you? Are you okay?”

I looked down, thinking back to what Nurse Redheart said about Fluttershy. She was gonna die, and there’s no stopping it. I wanted to deny it, but Bunny’s Daze confirmed it. I felt my eyes tear up as I was about to cry.

“Twilight?”

“I’m fine” I said before running to my bedroom. I just locked the door, and jumped on my bed. Spike kept knocking on the door as hard as he’d dare. I just didn’t stop. I cried the whole night. It wasn’t fair.

I kissed my marefriend as if she would die tomorrow. She was surprised at first, but gladly kissed back. We were in that for a while as Bunny covered her eyes. When we pulled away, we just stared deeply into each other’s eyes.

Then it finally happened. She coughed a little, but it became worse. She coughed out what I feared. It came out to be my own blood. We stared in horror at what was happening. What’s happening? I tried to calm down, but she kept coughing up her own blood.

Bunny! Bunny, wake up!

I woke up this morning by somepony shaking me and calling my name. I also couldn’t help but hear laughing in the background. Who gave me the wake-up call and why was there laughing? I opened my eyes to notice it was Spike waking me up. I rubbed one of my eyes before I asked him,

“Yes, Spike?”

My vision was blurry at first, much like every other being when they open their eyes in the morning. Believe it or not, despite being a Servant, there are still some normal things which we managed to retain. When I could finally see clearly, I saw what Spike woke up me for. I was sleeping on his shoulder, and Twilight and Fluttershy were watching!

“Oops! Sorry, Spike!” I quickly got off his shoulder and scampered to the other side of the couch.

“No worries! You fell asleep while I was reading the story and I didn’t even bother!” he said while his face turned bright red.

After that, I jumped off the couch to notice Fluttershy had taken a picture of the whole thing. Twilight couldn’t stop laughing. Spike kept rambling one thing after another; I swear he looked like a tomato! My Mistress went to make breakfast while I went to feed Angel. All the while, I kept wondering how we got in that position. All I remember was one minute; I was listening to Spike reading me a story on the couch. The next thing I know; I was Dreamland and woke up on his shoulder. No, we’re not lovers, just close friends.

Oh well, gotta get ready for work today. The Chief waits us in an hour or so.

We walked our way through Ponyville, heading to Twilight’s Castle. I just played along with Fluttershy as I walked with her on leash. I got used to wearing a leash since this was part of making my cover doesn’t blow. Sure, I had to pretend to be an ordinary rabbit every now and then by munching on a carrot and acting like the animal I once was, but it was worth it.

Eventually, we got to Twilight’s castle. I and Spike said our byes and I thanked Spike for the story. I also held back the urge to puke when we saw Twilight and Fluttershy kissing. My Love Immunity didn’t just make me unable to fall inlove, but I’m sensitive to vomiting if I see shows of affection. Why else do you think I cover my eyes when they do that? Or that when we have a sleepover, I sleep on the couch or the ceiling? Finally, they were done with the kiss and my Mistress and I walked to the Police Department for my job to start.

“You ready for the first day of your job, Bunny?” Fluttershy asked.

“You bet” I smiled.

“Just remember, rely on your Tracking Senses but keep your true self to a minimum”

“I know”

I knew I had to keep my instincts in check in public or they all know what I am. I just had to that, even if this hurts. Yes, Servants like me feel no pain when caused my mortals or other inferior creatures. But we were still vulnerable to pain caused by either our own abilities or our superiors. Who are our superiors? Well, Angels like Nathaniel, Prophets, Priests, Pastors, and of course our God. It hurts like heck when any pain like that is inflicted. But, nonetheless, it’s for own good.

We finally reached the Police. The Chief gave me a uniform collar when I aced his test, and I put it on before going inside. It was just a normal blue collar with black lining. He said he’ll give me a badge when I solve a case.

“Ah, there you are, Miss Fluttershy. Have you brought Bunny?” the chief asked.

“I have, come on, Bunny” Fluttershy took the leash off me. I nuzzled her hoof before facing the chief.

I saluted, “Sniffer Rabbit Bunny, reporting for duty”

“Just in time, young Sniffer. Thunder Cloud, fall in”

“Rookie and Sniffer, at ease” he said as we both dropped our arms from the salute. “Alright, remember Rookie, you and your Sniffer are supposed to work together. Try to get to know each other more”

“Yes, sir” Thunder Cloud then approached me. He carefully stuck out his hoof, and then looked to my Mistress as if asking for permission.

I nodded, “Go ahead, you’ll see how much fun she can be once you get to know her”

Thunder Cloud then nervously came near enough to pet me. I could tell he was scared when he closed his eyes as his hoof finally reached my head. “Good rabbit” he whispered.

Before he could react, I licked him in the face and began to act like a happy dog.

“See? She’s friendly, but can be the opposite when needed” Fluttershy said.

Thunder Cloud began to get used to me. “I can see why she protects you”

I felt Fluttershy pet me before she headed to the door. “I’ll see you later, okay?”

I pretty sure she would be fine, nothing bad today. Not even a Vision…oops! Thought too soon! I felt a sudden fear in myself again, before I heard Nathaniel’s voice in my head.

The whistle, child. Trouble happens today.

I knew what he meant; I had theses whistles that resembled fruits in red that when sounded off, a Servant can hear it no matter how far and came running to assist.

“Fluttershy, wait!” I called.

I ran up to her and placed the whistle on her neck.

“It’s one of my whistles” I said as it hid itself perfectly, as it was designed to, unless for emergencies. “If you need any help, or ran into trouble, just blow it, and I will come”

She gave me a slight pet on the head; I know she does that just to calm me. “It’s okay, Bunny. And thank you””

I watched as she left the Police station and headed down to Ponyville Spa to meet with Rarity. Rarity…I felt something odd when I thought her name. Thunder Cloud and I went on to our station for work. We were just supposed to stay in the post of the Bank unless and make sure there were no robbers. For a while, me and my partner just waited there in our post for a signal of action. I saw this as an opportunity to get to know him better.

“So, how are you?” I asked.

“I’m fine. You?”

“Fine as well”

“How are you able to talk, if I may ask?”

“Twilight Sparkle used a spell that allows animals to talk” I used the cover Spike gave me.

“I see. And your owner, Fluttershy, I heard she and Princess Twilight are in a relationship?”

“Indeed”

“It must be nice that your owner is the love of a Princess, do you enjoy it?”

“It’s normal, and just hang around with her assistant as she and Fluttershy go dating”

“You know, I heard that when the news about Princess Twilight and Fluttershy went famous, Flash Sentry couldn’t stop crying” he giggled.

I giggled at that too. “Yeah, he had eyes for Twilight, didn’t he?”

He nodded. “Word has it, he’s stalking them!”

“He isn’t, right?”

“It’s a rumor, why?”

“If he so much as hurts any of them in their relationship, I will hunt him down and call a tiger” I sad as I growled at thought.

“You must really be protective of your Fluttershy, are you?”

I nodded. “As her companion, I care about keeping her safe and happy and protecting those who mean a lot to her. She did, after all, save me once. I must return the favor”

“Now that’s loyalty”

I nodded. But then I heard something; my ears twitched at a sound.

“Hey, what’s with your ears?”

I didn’t listen to him as I closed my eyes and focused on hearing the sounds. I finally knew what it was: inside robbery. There was a thief who just got inside by blowing up a sewage pipe. I opened my eyes again.

“Somepony got inside, they’re heading to the fault” I said.

“What?! I’ll call back-up!”

“Better hurry, he’s near the fault. I can hear him”

He then picked up the walkie-talkie hidden in his uniform, and began to call Chief. I waited as I hopped in place.

“Sir, somepony is nearing the fault. We need back-up and quick”

“We will be there! Just go and stop him ahead!” I heard the chief say.

Thunder Cloud ended the call and looked at me, fear in his eyes. I knew since he was a rookie, he was scared of how he can handle apprehending a robber, and his only companion now is a rabbit! Well, maybe I can make use of one other ability that can help him settle into being a police.

I ran through the door. “You heard the Chief! We must stop him!”

He quickly ran behind me. The Bank had an elaborate way of making robbers confused by making so many passageways that not all of them led to the fault. But I managed to figure out where the thief was by my hearing. I led the way as my partner struggled to keep up. He then picked me and began to soar in the air.

“You lead, I’ll drive” he said as I was put on his back.

I nodded as I pinpointed the directions to where the thief was. We finally made it just in time to stop him before he could actually try and break the fault open. They saw the thief had a gun with him, Thunder Cloud had only two weapons: the gun with him and his Sniffer Bunny.

“Surrender now or I release my Sniffer”

The thief chuckled at the sight. “Oh, a small rabbit, how cute! What could her little buck teeth do to me and my strong flesh?”

Thunder Cloud was scared, I could sense it. I looked to him, giving him a nod. “Trust me, Cloud”

Thunder hesitated for a bit, but I guess my words assured him. He nodded and let me attack. I ran to the thief, baring my teeth. The thief kept shooting at me, but I dodged every time. Finally, I got to him and jumped in the air and bit him. He screamed in pain but I let go as though it were a mere nibble. He was about to shoot again, but he fell to the floor asleep. Cloud came up and put the hoofcufs on the thief as he looked to me, practically for any signs of damage.

“I’m alright” I said.

We walked out, the thief still asleep. When we got out, the rest of the team was there. They were impressed that we, a rookie and a Sniffer Rabbit just single-hoofed, caught the thief. The Chief was impressed. Some of them took the thief into the cab.

“Well, Rookie and Sniffer, I have to say I’m impressed. How did you do that? Rookie, this is your first mission. Sniffer, this is yours too but you actually did this, even for a rabbit”

Thunder Cloud spoke up. “Well, most of the credit goes to Sniffer. She was able to hear the thief when they broke in, and led me to where he was. I was afraid, but she just attacked the suspect and bit him. The next thing that happened, suspect was asleep and she didn’t even get scratched” he then turned to me. “Hey, how did you make him sleep anyway?”

“Another spell from Twilight” I said the cover as I bared my teeth, or rather fangs. “She used a spell that not only gave me fangs, but also allowed me to inject liquids when it pierces flesh. Before leaving the house, I always placed sleeping potion in them”

The Chief nodded. “Outstanding, Rookie and Sniffer. Do that again and I’ll give you both a badge”

“Yes, Chief” we both said.

My ears twitched again at the feeling of a sound about to be sounded off. It felt weird and unfamiliar at first, but I realized what it was, the whistle! Fluttershy was in trouble!

“What’s wrong, Sniffer?” Cloud asked me.

“Trouble! We got trouble! Carousel Boutique! NOW!” I stammered out.

“How could you tell? We’re so far away!”

My nose twitched at a smell. “Murder! WE GOT A MURDER!”

They didn’t wait anymore as they let me led the way. I ran as fast my paws could carry me. I know that scent meant blood, but who would do this? The Chief would be surprised at my senses being heightened like that, but now we had to save Fluttershy!

We finally reached Carousel Boutique as I heard the whistle as close as ever. They heard it too, which led us to the basement. We barged in, and I got the scare of my whole alien life. There, on a steel table, was Fluttershy strapped and bleeding in the thighs. I saw that she had company. Rarity had a knife with her, dripping with blood. I felt my fears replaced by rage as the Servant’s Gene kicked in and my instincts took over.

“Attack, Sniffer!” Cloud yelled out.

I ran toward Rarity, who tried to stop me with needles before I finally clamped my fangs into her flesh. She screamed in pain as my fangs injected their liquid of sleeping potion.

“Bunny, get off me!” she yelled as she tried to shake me off. But she finally gave in to the fluid as she collapsed on the floor.

I finally let go as my fangs went back to normal size. I growled at her as the Servant Gene stopped its control over me. That Gene is always the most potent thing in a Servant, designed to become active and take control enough to make us finish a task at all costs. It always has a strong aftermath when no longer controlling, but it’s always the best thing in Servants.

I snapped out of it when I heard Fluttershy groan. I turned to see she was losing too much bold and was about to pass out.

“Fluttershy!” I cried as I ran to her.

“Call Ponyville Hospital, ASAP!” the Chief’s voice rang out.

I just ran as fast as I could to Fluttershy, she was getting deathly pale from blood loss. I went into overdrive as I used my claws to try and undo the locks. I did this as fast as I could. I heard the ambulance and noticed Thunder Cloud just watching me as I broke the bonds. As I finished the lower half and moved on to the forelegs, I looked to see that Fluttershy’s eyes were now half-closed.

“Fluttershy, hang on” I said to her as she closed her eyes. “Hang on”

I finally got her out of the steel table’s bonds, but she already passed out. She was alive, just on the brink. I felt my sadness return again; it felt like I was watching Poltrust die all over again. The ambulance finally arrived and they got a stretcher ready. They quickly took Fluttershy in the ambulance and began to try their best to keep her alive until they got to the hospital. I backed away as they did so, tears clouding my vision.
Why would Rarity do this? Of all ponies, Rarity, Fluttershy’s best friend, tried to kill her! I know she was jealous, but I didn’t expect her to do something so insane. This was just too much to process. I felt Thunder Cloud’s hoof on my shoulder, as though trying to comfort me.

“I’m sorry, Sniffer. I didn’t know somepony would try to do this to her” he said to me.

I just bit my lips as I tried to keep myself from breaking down too soon.

“Sniffer Bunny” I looked up to see the Chief. “I know she’s very close to you. You may be able to go and tell her friends and come back later. I know this is strong sorrow for you. You can come back later if you found additional information. Go ahead, I know you need it”

I nodded. I didn’t even waste a second as I ran off to Twilight’s Castle. I remember we were supposed to have a meeting with the others, but atleast that means that they will all be in one place. I kept crying all the way.

It took a while, but I finally reached Twilight’s Castle. I ran up as fast as my paws could carry me. I didn’t even bother to knock as I barged through the door. I know it was impolite, but this was an emergency. It took some tracking, but I finally found the door to the Main Hall where the others were. I saw everypony else of the group: Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Spike, and Twilight Sparkle. They all took notice when I came in the room.

“Bunny?” Spike’s voice rang out as I looked up to see him. “What’s wrong?”

“Why would she do this?” I sniffled.

“Why? Bunny, what’s wrong?”

“Fluttershy…almost killed…bleeding…hospital…terribly” I choked through the sobs.

“What?!” Spike exclaimed. “But…but who did…” I couldn’t even speak anymore as I broke down in tears and sobbed uncontrollably.

“You can tell us along the way when you can” I heard Twilight as she levitated us on her back. “Spike, you help her calm down”

I didn’t say anything as I felt Spike hug me “Shh, its okay, Bunny” he cooed, petting me. “It’ll be fine”

I didn’t think so as I continued to sob. I know Spike was trying best to prevent himself from breaking down too. I felt Twilight’s rage build up as she ran to the Hospital with us. I didn’t even notice until me and Spike got off Twilight’s back after as got into Hospital.

“Where’s Fluttershy?” Twilight asked out loud.

Rather than an answer, an ambulance arrived and out came a yellow mare in a stretcher; she was pushed by the orderlies into the E.R. I couldn’t even stop anymore when I saw the state my Mistress-slash-friend was in. Fluttershy’s thighs were bleeding; the skin was gone. There was a gas mask on her muzzle, and a life support system showing her vital signs. Her eyes were closed, and dried tears were evident on the sides of her face.

“Sorry, misses. You can’t pass through here”

“But my friend is in there! You have to let me through!” Rainbow cried as she was held back by one of the orderlies. Twilight just stood there in shock, tearing up from the state her marefriend was in.

“I’m sorry, miss Dash. But all you can do now is let the doctors do the work, and hope for the best”

“Hope for the best?! She’s bleeding badly!” I could hear Rainbow’s voice booming for her sister’s fate.

“Sorry, but you must wait in the Waiting Room. We’ll do the best we can”

“Twilight, are okay?” Spike asked her while he held me. I only heard her sob in response.

“Why?” she sobbed. “Who?”

For the next few minutes, we all just waited there in the Waiting Room, hoping Fluttershy would be alright. Everypony had their own way of showing their worry. Applejack held Rainbow Dash close in a hug to make her stop crying about her sister for a minute. Rainbow just passed out from her sobbing a while back and was now just asleep in Applejack’s hooves. Pinkie tried her best to make us be optimistic that she would be alright. Spike just kept comforting me until I stopped and looked at the floor blankly. I just kept thinking about what Fluttershy was going through. I knew Twilight was doing the same thing.

Twilight finally broke the silence. “Bunny, do know what happened before you reached the castle?”

I nodded, and put on a brave face as I did my best to remember without breaking. “I was just having a normal day with Thunder Cloud, the one I’m working with. All of the sudden, I heard Fluttershy blowing the whistle I gave her and immediately reported the others and lead them to the source. What we saw in Rarity’s basement horrified me”

Spike’s eyes shot up. “Wait, Rarity?”

I nodded. “Rarity was the one who tried to kill Fluttershy”

Twilight was having her doubts. “Are you sure? That’s not like her to hurt her best friend”

I shut her eyes tightly. “I saw it with my own eyes! She had a scalpel in her hooves, dripping with Fluttershy’s blood!”

“Go on”

I did my best to keep myself from crying out again as Twilight pat me. Spike seemed to be in shock. Finally, the door opened and Nurse Redheart’s head poked out.

“Please, tell me, is she gonna make it?” Twilight asked her as she approached.

She looked down. “We don’t know for sure if she lives or not. She lost a huge amount of blood, and her skin is ghostly pale. We did our best, now it’s up to her. We did however; hear her whispering something while in operation. I don’t know if I got it right though, but I guess it was…” she paused for a minute before remembering. “Rarity, why?”

Everypony gasped in surprise. Of course they thought it would be unbelievable that Rarity would do that. They thought The Element Bearer of Generosity couldn’t be so cruel do such. If they saw what I did, they would believe.

“Can we go see her?” I hopped to Twilight’s side as she asked that.

“Sure, she’s in Room 7B, but still unconscious”

“Thank you. You coming, Spike?”

He shook his head. “Not until she wakes up”

“Okay. Bunny, what about you?”

I nodded. “While we’re there, I’ll try to see her memories to see if it’s really true”

This wasn’t even Fluttershy’s time to die. Uncle Jack told me that she would die of old age, not by murder. If she does die, I could bring her back, for a huge price. But, this was already too much. What if they changed her fate?

The nurse left us alone to take care of some other things. I immediately hopped to Fluttershy’s side. I then went up to the bedpost above her head. I then began to focus on the spell that allows me to see her memories. I saw everything that happened through this entire day. I finally found something.

Fluttershy was greeted by Aloe. “Oh! Good morning, Miss Fluttershy!”

“Good morning, Aloe. Where’s Rarity? Am I late?”

“Well, I guess it’s nice to see that, although I’ll be fine without it”

“Oh, but she insists, Miss Fluttershy”

“Well, okay” and with that, Aloe began to pour the contents in the water. It was a beautiful pink, and smelled sweet. I felt her began to relax in the smell as Aloe walked away.

I heard her whisper, “Sweet dreams, Miss Fluttershy”

I was surprised at that. What did she mean? “Aloe…” but she didn’t get to finish her sentence when the smell of the liquid kicked in, and she fell asleep.

That was when I saw everything that Rarity did; he plan, the assault, but one part got blurry. Nonetheless, I gasped as the spell ended.

“Well, what did you see?” Twilight asked.

“Rarity really did it!” I gasped out. “She was gonna turn her into a coat!”

My instincts then kicked in again. I got mad again and hopped off to deal with the rest Fluttershy’s assailants. I knew just who and where they are, Aloe and the Spa Ponies at Ponyville Spa. “I’m gonna go to the police now that I have more info. You stay here and guard Fluttershy. Tell the others to not go the Spa anymore!”

“Okay. Wait, why?”

“Aloe and the other spa ponies were in on it!” I yelled before she stormed out.

I ran down the hallway as I adjusted my uniform collar. The Spa ponies were in on the plan? What’s going on here? First, Fluttershy is in a fatal state. Then, Rarity is revealed to be the killer. Now, the Spa ponies were the ones who assisted Rarity in the plot? Things are going from bad to worse.

“Woah, Bunny, are okay?” Spike’s voice rang out as I passed by the Waiting Room.

“I’ll be right back. I know who else was in on it” was all I said before I left. I ran off in rage.

After a while, I told what I found to the Chief. We had to investigate and we spoke to those Spa Ponies, but I think you better know what happened when it was Aloe and Vera, the Lead ones.

We were in the office with Aloe and Vera at the table with me, Thunder Cloud, and the Chief. The next question was the one that made them give an answer that sent them to jail.

“I’ll ask you one last time” I said with a stomp from my paw. “What’s more important; the life of one of one is safe or just money?”

“Um…” Aloe began. “Depends how much?”

I was deadpan in the face. “Take them away!”

After those words came out of my mouth, the rest of the Police placed the cuffs on their hooves.

“You’re under arrest!”

“For what?”

“For aiding a murder!”

I watched as them and the rest of the Spa ponies were taken to their prison cells. I began to calm down now that the rest of my Mistress’ assailants will be taken to justice. I felt sad again for how she was doing back at the hospital. I then noticed the Chief approaching me and that Thunder Cloud had a badge on him. The chief then strapped something on my uniform collar. When he pulled away, I saw what it was: a Police badge.

The Chief then nodded. “You earned it, Sniffer. You may now leave to attend to your friends. I know how much the victim means to you”

I nodded with a smile. “Thank you, Chief”

He then just let me go as I ran back to the Hospital. I know this was good news, but it was no time to think about this since I had to get there as fast as I can. I finally reached the Hospital. When I walked through the Waiting Room, the rest of the gang was still where I last saw them. I knew that meant Fluttershy still didn’t wake up.

“Where were you?” Spike asked me.

“Finishing the murder case” I said before I left to Fluttershy’s room.

When I opened the door, Twilight was still crying over the bed. Fluttershy was still unconscious. I just silently went to the corner in the room. I then placed a cross there and began to pray for Fluttershy to live. I kept thinking about what Rarity did, it was so wrong. I didn’t even look up for a long time for a fear that she wouldn’t wake.

I didn’t move from my spot until I heard something. I finished my prayer and looked to see Fluttershy was awake. I gave a small prayer of thanks and ran over to hug my Mistress.

“Mistress!” I cried as I ran and hugged her. “Oh, praise the Lord! I’m gonna tell the others!”

I quickly ran off in happiness to the Waiting Room. I finally got there to see that they were all waiting.

“She’s awake!” I said as they all ran with me back to the room.

Rainbow woke up from her sleep. “She is? Oh thank goodness! Let’s go!”

“See girls?” I said as we entered the room. “I told you she made it!”

Twilight and Fluttershy turned to see us.

Spike wiped a sweat of fear from his head. “Phew! For a second there, I thought you were a goner! You should’ve seen how upset everypony was!”
Rainbow flew right above them. “Oh I’m so glad I didn’t lose my little sister”

“Ya’ll should’ve seen how soft Dashie got when she thought ya’ll were about to die” Applejack smirked.

“I would’ve cried for a week if you went bye-bye!” Pinkie cried out.

Fluttershy was shocked to hear that. “What do you mean, I was about to die?”

I hopped over to her side. “Well, about that, you see…”

For the next minutes, I was explaining everything that happened while Fluttershy was asleep. The others said some things from their own perspectives. But all in all, we managed to give her all she had to know about since she passed out.

“…and then that was when we all got here” I finished.

“Well, that explains it all. Aloe and the others were part of it all along?” Fluttershy asked.

I nodded. “Now, Ponyville Spa has been closed down for good and all the employees went to jail along with Rarity, all lost their license for spa duty. My guess is that there are gonna be a lot of ponies who are gonna be cranky for a massage”

Everypony giggled at my joke. That was when the blurry memories clicked at my mind.

“One thing I don’t get though, WHY DID SHE TRY TO TURN YOU INTO A COAT?!” I raised my arms wide to express.

She didn’t answer; she just looked down. I began to think that I may have scared her.

“Oh! I’m sorry about that” I apologized

“No, Bunny it’s okay”

“Fluttershy, what’s wrong? Do you know why?” Twilight asked her.

Fluttershy looked away. I could tell that it may be something bad.

Twilight then lifted her face to make them face-to-face. “Fluttershy, please. You can tell us”

Fluttershy gave up. “She said that she was gonna turn me into a coat so she can wear me and get you love her”

“WHAT?!”

“She told me you only love me because I was the only single mare left who was color yellow. And that you only loved me for my color because it reminded you of Princess Celestia”

“Fluttershy…”

“I’m trying to believe that it’s not true, but it keeps ringing in my head”

“Fluttershy…”

Fluttershy finally stopped her rambling and faced Twilight; she had a sad look in her eyes. The next thing I saw was them kissing it out. I covered my eyes so as to avoid throwing up.

“She’s wrong, Flutters” Twilight’s voice rang out. “I love you for who you are, not just how you look. I love every part that makes you you. You’re sweet, you’re caring, and you’re kind. If anypony just tells you I love you physically in any way, they’re just jealous”

Then came Fluttershy’s response. “Thank you, Twi”

“Are you guys done?!” I called out. “I don’t want to puke again!”

I could tell Fluttershy was chuckling. Without warning, I felt Fluttershy’s hoof scratch the back on my neck. I flinched a bit, but began to enjoy it. I felt her go for the neck, back of my ear, then finally, an area under my head. I was hyped at that, and then fell into Happy Limbo.

Then next thing I felt was sure bliss. I was in a field of happiness and joy. There were flowers everywhere, hymns that played in the background every now and then. There was even a scent of catnip that drifted in the air. In short, I saw everything a Servant would if they were in Happy Limbo.

I didn’t want it to go away, not too soon. But there was something that then made everything changes. I felt a familiar thing: a Vision. What I saw made me whimper and nearly cry. I saw that Fluttershy was coughing her blood, and then an image of a cut nerve in her thigh was shown. The next image was that of a gravestone, and the rest of the gang crying.

I just couldn’t believe what I saw seeing, Fluttershy was gonna die. I was on the very verge of tears, but I heard something that made things worse.
I turned around to see Rarity, laughing it all up maniacally.

I felt my sadness replaced with rage again. But this wasn’t my normal anger; it was more anger than I felt before in my whole alien life. I felt my fangs grow into their long and sharp selves. I began to growl and go mad as I ran over and gave Rarity a piece of my mind.

“LOOK AT WHAT YOU DID TO HER, RARITY!” I yelled in anger, my tone now the vocal range of a lion’s growl.

Rarity just laughed nervously.

“YOU THINK THIS IS FUNNY?! WHEN I’M DONE WITH YOU, YOU’LL SO REGRET THAT YOU KILLED FLUTTERSHY!”

“Fluttershy’s dead?” she seemed to ask me. “But, I thought that it didn’t get her all the way through”

“DON’T YOU GET IT?! WHEN YOU CUT HER IN THE THIGH, YOU CUT A VITAL NERVE AND NOW SHE BLED TO DEATH WE THOUGHT SHE WAS FINE UNTIL IT GOT WORSE AND MADE ITSELF KNOWN! IF YOU DIDN’T LET YOUR JEALOUSY GET THE BEST OF YOU, SHE WOULD BE FINE AND NOW…” I then bared my fangs and got ready to bite her neck. “…YOU’LL HAVE TO TELL HER WE SAY HELLO!”

I was about to bite her. If this really kills her, I don’t think I’ll care anymore. As my teeth neared her flesh, something hit me on the head, literally! It hurt so much, and I didn’t notice as the whole scape began to fade. The next thing I knew was that I was back at the Hospital, and Spike was cowering at the side. I didn’t know at first, but then it hit me.

“Oh my goodness!” I said, back in my normal tone. “Spike, I am so sorry!”

Spike quivered in response, he didn’t even answer me. I should’ve known I was under a Daze, now I just scared a friend.

I looked down. “Oh, he’s scared of me now, isn’t he?”

Spike snapped out of his fear-induced trance. “B-Bunny? Is that really you?”

“I just hope you can forgive me. I was in a Daze! I’m sorry!”

“Yep, that’s definitely you” Spike said, picking me up and pulling me in for a hug. “Only the real and normal Bunny gets that emotional when she does mistakes”

“Does that mean you forgive me?”

“You’re too cute for me to stay mad at you, and like you said, you were in a Daze. What is a Daze in your speak anyway?”

“Okay, but that doesn’t explain why you mistaken me for Rarity”

“You smell a bit like her”

“And how does she smell like?”

“Mostly gemstones”

“What did the Nurse say?” Fluttershy asked.

“She said that you may have to stay here for a while, and they have to make daily check-ups on you to avoid accidents. You had a really deep cut”
Fluttershy nodded. “Bunny, what did you see?”

I just looked down; I already learned my previous tries. “I’m not supposed to say”

“I’m sorry, everypony” Nurse Redheart said upon entering the room. “But visiting hours are almost over”

I didn’t want to leave my Mistress after her whole ordeal, not even for a night. I simply ran down and hid myself under the bed.

Redheart’s voice rang out “Okay, there’s Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Spike, Twilight Sparkle…Wait a minute! Where’s Bunny?”

I tried not to, but I couldn’t stop myself from letting out a small whimper. Redheart then managed to find me. “Miss Bunny, you must understand, but your Mistress Fluttershy needs her rest”

“I don’t wanna go! I wanna stay here with Fluttershy!” I cried out.

“Bunny, please”

I didn’t listen, but I just zipped to Fluttershy’s side. “I want to stay!” she cried as I held onto Fluttershy’s left hoof, as if clinging onto it may keep me from leaving her side.

“You’re afraid that Rarity would come back to finish her off, aren’t you?”

I nodded, hugging Shy tighter.

Redheart sighed. “Miss Fluttershy, would you like that Bunny stay with you? She seems attached to you”

My Mistress looked at me as I begged with puppy eyes. “Um, if that’s not a problem”

“Well, okay. But she needs to wear a leash”

Without waiting, I grabbed my leash, put it on, and tied it to the bedpost. “Done!”

“Okay, goodnight. Now, try and get some sleep you two” Redheart said, closing the door. “I could’ve sworn you looked bigger”

I watched as she left the room, before Fluttershy’s voice rang out. “Bunny, you don’t have to shrink to the size of a baby rabbit to show you’re afraid” she said as I realized what I did and grew back to normal size.

“I’m just scared of the Vision”

“We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it, my little alien” I felt her pet me. “Now, get some rest”

“Yes, Mistress” I said as I curled up on the bed and slowly closed my eyes.

Over the past few weeks, everything seemed fine. I made sure Fluttershy didn’t have to worry about the animals I assigned Dino and rest of my pets to take care of them. Twilight and the others made their visits, there were regular check-ups to make sure things were fine, and we hadn’t heard from Rarity since the Vision. Things look like they were just alright, well, until one day…

“If I don’t make it, Twilight, do me a favor” Fluttershy said to her.

“Yes, Flutters?”

“Take care of Bunny for me”

She looked at her in confusion.

Twilight looked at me, then back at Fluttershy. I don’t want to leave yet, even if Fluttershy will die when it’s not her time.

“Please, Twilight” Fluttershy said, holding onto her hoof. “My animals will leave if I die, but I want that Bunny finishes her mission”

Twilight just looked at her, before she finally decided. “Okay, I’ll make sure she’s safe”

“Thank you, Twi”

Before I could react, those two kissed again. I covered my eyes, as always.

Then I heard something. Fluttershy sounded like she was coughing, and something came out. I opened my eyes again and saw what it was. It was her own blood. We stared in horror at what was happening. What’s happening? I tried to calm down, but she kept coughing up her own blood.

I woke up by the smell of Sweetie’s Belle’s cooking. Oh, I could never get tired of her burning the ingredients at the crack of dawn. I decided to go downstairs as much as possible before she sets the whole house on fire. As much as I love my sister, I could almost never trust her to cook. As I walked down, I passed by my cat, Opal.

“Good morning, Opal” I greeted her.

She meowed in response.

I just decided to go on and see my sister in the kitchen. I finally found her nearly burning what looked like toast. Oh, Sweetie Belle.

“Good morning, Sweetie Belle” I greeted her.

“Good morning, sis” she greeted back.

After I convinced her that I should make our breakfast, I made sure she got a good, healthy treat right enough to start the day. She volunteered to clean the dishes, which I trust her with. After that, we both got ourselves ready for the day ahead of us. She had to go to school, and I had to do…well…my own business.

“Be back before dark, Sweetie Belle” I reminded her. “That is, if you’re Crusader friends have a meeting today”

“I will, sis” she told me before leaving.

Truth be told, I had no work to do for today. I remember the fact that Twilight told us we’d all have a meeting later today at the Castle. I also recalled that she and Spike had a sleepover last night with Fluttershy and Bunny. Oh, how I just wish Twilight declined. No, not because I didn’t want Spike around Bunny. It’s because spending her time with…Fluttershy.

Make no mistake; I love Twilight, I do. But I never got to tell her that. Why? Because she was inlove with my best friend, Fluttershy. And Fluttershy loves her back. The princess of Friendship, of all ponies, fell inlove with a shy caretaker who is afraid of her own shadow! She deserves somepony so much better, a dressmaker known all throughout Canterlot, perhaps? I could try, but the last time Pinkie Pie did without the realization of a Love Poison ended up summoning a demon. I can’t even try to say those words without a certain apprentice guarding her Mistress to keep them together and “protect the balance”. I swear, Bunny’s matchmaker skills are questionable. It like one couple disrupted could kill them.

But then I thought, does a match still have to be precise if one of them is dead? Bunny didn’t mention anything like that. And last time I checked, she did the Exorcism pretty well. Today was just perfect to test something about “balance in couples” as Bunny called it. Me and Fluttershy were going to the Spa today before heading to the meeting. Bunny has a job at Ponyville Police as a Sniffer Rabbit. And one thing I knew about Ponyville Spa that none of my friends didn’t: the ponies working there have been offering various extra “services” to costumers, especially their best ones. And I even had a sleeping drug inhalant mixed in a fur conditioner. Now, it was time to set things up.

Everything was set, all I had to do now was wait for Fluttershy at the Spa and when she falls asleep, I’ll be able to do the rest. It wasn’t very hard to convince Aloe and the rest of the crew to do my bidding. I just paid them all a large amount of bits I had been saving up, and they even agreed on keeping this all secret. Especially since I am a more frequent customer than Fluttershy.

I hid myself in a nearby tree, just waiting for Fluttershy to come. I finally caught sight of her and her little yellow self. Bunny wasn’t even with her, perfect. I watched her very closely as she neared the door. I was about to think she would open the door, but then she stopped for a brief moment and looked behind herself. I hid behind the tree immediately so as to avoid getting caught. I stayed there for a few seconds until I heard the door swing open. I peeked out and saw that she went inside.

I slowly walked out of my hiding place and got to a window to see if it had all taken place. It turned out to be much quicker than I expected, but she did fell asleep from the inhalant. I watched in anticipation as they dried off Fluttershy’s coat. Finally, I went inside to claim her. They promised not a word about it to anypony else as I dragged her away.

All that’s left now is to have a little chat and teach a lesson to Fluttershy. And, after she is no more, Twilight will finally be mine.

I waited for a long time for Fluttershy to wake up from the effects of the inhalant. I must’ve used too much since it took her a while to come to. I was getting impatient with her, and the meeting would start very soon. I swear, when she wakes up, I’ll make sure it will be her last time. I know this was cruel, but desperate times call for desperate measures. I failed a lot of times previously with Trenderhoof and Prince Blueblood; I will not fail to get Twilight. I finally heard something in the dark basement. Why did I bring her to the basement? Obviously, I wouldn’t want anypony else walking in and seeing what I was up to. My reputation would be ruined.

“Hello, darling! So glad you could make it!” I called out atlast.

“Rarity, where am I? Why can’t I move?” Fluttershy asked.

“Well, that’s because you’re strapped down, darling”

“But, why? Rarity, what’s going on?”

“Oh, Fluttershy, you’re always the curious one! No worries, I just need your help so may be able to chat with Twilight”

“Wait, why Twilight?”

Oh, she’s making me mad. “Because, my darling Fluttershy, well, I need to make my point”

“Rarity, come on, this isn’t funny.”

I could tell she was panicking now, I could hear her hyperventilating. “You can’t do this, Rarity! I’m your friend! Rarity please, I’m sorry if I did anything to you. I didn’t mean it. Please let me go. I promise I won’t tell anybody.”

“Oh, Fluttershy, we can’t turn back now.”

I saw her tearing up, perfect.

“Aww, don’t be sad, Fluttershy,” said Rarity.

She sobbed and writhed in her bonds as I picked up a scalpel. She didn’t even notice me approach her with it. I could tell all she was thinking about was the mare I wanted. She finally paid attention to me when I positioned the blade on her chest.

“Rarity, what are you doing?” she asked fearful.

“Oh, this should work well” I said, before I began to cut through the flesh of her cutie mark. She screamed in pain as I cut through her flesh and cut out the thighs of where her cutie mark was. I decided to make thing worse by waving both pieces infront of her as she cried. I finally put both down on the table.

“Rarity, please no” I heard her. “Why are you doing this?”

“Because, dear. You know we each have our little secrets of why we are what we” I then came closer, and whispered to her the truth and reason why I did this. “And here’s my little secret; I want Twilight”

She was really afraid now, I could tell. She even looked as though she was shivering from fright.

“The bleeding in your flank will eventually kill you, and then, Twilight shall be mine!” I cackled out. “And don’t worry, darling. I’ll make sure none of your fur goes to waste when I turn it into a coat”

Her head snapped up. “A coat?! But, why would you turn me into a coat?!”

Those words seem to strike her well in the heart, and I could tell she was already losing too much blood. “That’s…not true”

“Oh, darling, it’s too hard to accept what is true”

I could tell she was getting weaker as her skin color seemed to pale. Atleast that means when I turn her into a coat, it make it look like it’s not hers. This was getting better. Soon, Twilight will be mine, all mine! Though, I wonder, if Fluttershy dies, does this mean I either get Bunny or she goes home? If it’s the latter, atleast that meant there will be no annoyingly child-like aliens bothering me. If it’s the former, I could always use her to help me with the work. Sure, its slavery, but her race is called Servant.

I then noticed something popped out of nowhere on Fluttershy’s neck; a red pepper-shaped necklace. I had no idea where it came from, but Fluttershy just blew on it for as hard as she could.

“Nice try, but it’s too deep down here that nopony could hear you” I mused.

But I was so wrong when there were knocks on the door. It was very fast and loud, like there was an angry mob outside. After a second of pounding, it broke open, sending large parts of the door flying. It was a relief to see who came; the Police, and Bunny with them. I can tell they were all led by her when she heard it. That necklace must’ve been given by that alien!

“Attack, Sniffer!” one of them yelled out.

Bunny ran towards me, I tried to stop her by throwing needles at her, but she managed to dodge every time. She must owe that to the fact that she is part-cat for her reflexes. I screamed in pain as she bit my hoof. She must’ve made her fangs sharp as she dared because it was piercing my skin!

“Bunny, get off me!” I yelled as I tried to shake her off. But I began to feel woozy. Did she add sleeping potion in her fangs today? Because I fell asleep as she released me. The last thing I saw before I blacked out was the face of the angry Servant before me.

The next thing I knew when I woke up was that I was no longer in the basement of my Boutique. Sure, it looked gray in here, but still wasn’t like that of my basement. I was still groggy from the bite Bunny gave me, but I managed to get up. Oh, how I hate when that Servant gets so protective. When I stood up, I finally got a good point to see where I was, jail.

I looked around to find the usual things you would if you were put in jail; a bed, a mirror, and the door with a protective glass. What bothered me though was that I didn’t even get a trial. I peeked out the window to see that there were guards outside.

“Hello?” I called out from inside.

“Keep it quiet, miss” one of them said. How rude!

“Don’t I get a trial?” I asked out loud.

“No”

“But, why?”

“You tried to committed murder, and jail is the direct punishment for so. Especially since it was on somepony close to one of our comrades”

“Is she dead?”

“Not sure, but we can bet ten bits that our comrade is in a weeping state right now”

“You sent me in here without trial, how inhumane!”

“Murder is inhumane, and punishable. You should be lucky that they didn’t say to kill you, or that the victim is dead yet”

I huffed in anger at that. I didn’t even know what to think anymore. Sure, I nearly killed Fluttershy because of a fit of jealousy, and maybe even Bunny is crying a flood of tears now. But still, I was beginning to question myself: did I really have to do it? Fluttershy was my best friend, and I was hers. But she stole the mare I loved! But, I could always just move on. But, I could never get back Fluttershy if I killed her for real. And even if she did live, I don’t think I could ever show my face to her again. As if things couldn’t even get any worse.

I felt something suddenly pin me to the side of the room, it felt like little paws. I looked around, there was nopony there. It felt like there was an invisible force just pinning me in anger. I blinked again, only to find myself in a new scenario. This looked like a cemetery, as though a funeral just occurred. I looked to see who it was, it no other than Bunny. She didn’t look like her normal self, she had black eyes rather than her normal cerulean and she was growling angrily.

“LOOK AT WHAT YOU DID TO HER, RARITY!” she yelled in anger, her tone no longer like her cute and sweet one. It sounded just like a lion’s growl.
I just laughed nervously.

She didn’t seem to listen. “YOU THINK THIS IS FUNNY?! WHEN I’M DONE WITH YOU, YOU’LL SO REGRET THAT YOU KILLED FLUTTERSHY!”

“Fluttershy’s dead?” I asked in fear. “But, I thought that it didn’t get her all the way through”

IF YOU DIDN’T LET YOUR JEALOUSY GET THE BEST OF YOU, SHE WOULD BE FINE AND NOW…” she then bared her fangs and got ready to bite my neck. “…YOU’LL HAVE TO TELL HER WE SAY HELLO!”

I didn’t want to see this. And I couldn’t believe that even something as cute as Bunny could suddenly go savage. I braced myself for her fangs to make contact, but it never came. I opened my eyes again to see that I was back in the prison cell, and Bunny was gone. I breathed heavily from fear. Was that all a message?

I looked down to see a small book at the door. How did that get there? Who put it there? I approached it and opened it to see the contents. What I saw inside made me cry. There were photos of me and Fluttershy spending time together. There was the day at the Spa, the time at the Gala, even when we went to the Crystal Empire. I flipped through the pages until I came across a note in the back. It read:

Dear Rarity,
Thank you so much for all the times we’ve had together. You are the best friend a shy mare like me could ever have. I just know nothing would ever be put over our friendship.

Fluttershy

I sobbed hysterically at all that. She was my best friend, and I chose to kill her just because of a crush? I’m the worst! “Oh, Fluttershy!” I cried. “My closest and best friend, what have I done?”

I looked up to see a small butterfly suddenly landed on my nose. It flew off and I got a good point to see its color: pink wings and cyan body, just like her cutie mark. I watched as it flew away. “All the rest of time I could’ve spent with you was wasted, plotting, and even bleeding you to death!” I sobbed at what I had done. I just knew that may have been why Bunny ran savage a while. Then something clicked at my brain.

“Wait” I called over to the guards. “What if she is proclaimed alive?”

“If she is, then it will be her choice to release you by forgiveness. But it’s a big ‘if’ considering you tried to kill her”

I looked down and held the book close. I knew what I had done. But, I still have to pray. I prayed that she will live, and forgive me. Not just because of freedom, but I just want her back. I promised myself that if I made out of this, I would tell her I’m sorry.

For the past few weeks, I just stayed there without hearing from any of my friends. I just kept waiting and praying that everything would be alright. I had no idea what was going on at the Hospital that day.

Fluttershy kept coughing up her blood for several times before it finally subsided. She took deep breaths as soon as she was able to breathe again. Twilight and Bunny were already getting worried. Spike left the room to call help from the doctor.

“Twilight…” Fluttershy choked out. “What’s happening?”

Twilight tried her best to calm her marefriend by holding her hoof. “It’s okay, Flutters. It will be okay”

Bunny nuzzled Fluttershy as Spike came back inside with the doctors. The doctor was shocked to see what unfolded before him. He told Nurse Redheart to go and check on the wound, which she did. She gasped with what she saw: the wound began to bleed out again. She reported to the doctor to what she saw. The doctor shook his head.

“Why? What’s wrong with her?” Spike asked in fear.

“Miss Fluttershy appears to have not been able to fully heal from the whole incident. There was a major nerve that was cut by Rarity. The procedures we did to her only kept her alive for a matter of a few more weeks. We were hoping that she would finally heal from the cut, but all that hope is gone since she’s coughing up blood”

“What?” Fluttershy was shocked to hear the news.

“I’m sorry, you only have a few minutes left to live before it gets worse and you die. There’s nothing we can do now. All you can do now is say your goodbyes”

Fluttershy looked down as Spike began to tear up. Bunny hoped that this wouldn’t happen, but her Daze was all true and happening. Twilight knew this was the hardest part.

“We’ll give you some time alone” the doctor said before he and Nurse Redheart left.

Fluttershy began to cough but didn’t with blood this time. Twilight was beginning to get desperate as she wanted that she would do anything to keep her alive. “Bunny, can you try something?”

Bunny only responded by trying to cast a spell, only to be repelled off and sent flying to the wall by an invisible force. The impact was very hard and she held her head in pain.

“I can’t” she said. “They won’t let me”

“It’s okay, Bunny” Fluttershy choked out. “You tried anyway. But, can you do me a favor?”

“What is it?”

“Call Joshua here, now”

Bunny then successfully summoned Joshua. How she did that but not heal her? Even weirder, Summoning was a harder task than Healing.

“What is it, child?” Joshua asked.

“Bless me, Father”

Bunny, Twilight, and Spike were taken back at this. Fluttershy had just asked for Absolution from Joshua the High Priest.

“Please, Father. I don’t want to die like this”

Joshua nodded, and putting a hand on Fluttershy’s head, began the Absolution. “God, the Father of mercies, through the death and resurrection of his Son has reconciled the world to himself and sent the Holy Spirit among us for the forgiveness of sins; through the ministry of the Church may God give you pardon and peace, and I absolve you from your sins in the name of the Father, and of the Son, + and of the Holy Spirit”

“Thank you, Father”

“We shall see you soon, child” Joshua nodded. He then whispered something in Bunny’s ear, which she nodded to before he left.

A moment later, the rest of the gang showed up.

“I can’t believe this! You’re dying!” Rainbow cried, literally.

“Sugarcube, we hoped that you would be alright!”

“Now I’ll never be able to put together your Getting Better Party!”

The next thing Bunny picked up was something that made things even harder. “Here comes the family” she mumbled as Fluttershy’s family, Mr. Shy, Mrs. Shy, and Zephyr. All of which were already begging to cry.

“Fluttershy, who did this to you?! I swear I’ll kill them!” Zephyr cried as he hugged his elder sister.

“Zephyr, killing her assailant will not bring her back” Mrs. Shy said, trying to hold back the tears.

“I don’t care! She’s the only sister I have left!” Zephyr began to break down.

“Zephyr Breeze, it will be alright. Just do me one thing: promise me that you will be able to live on your own”

Zephyr began to cry, but he nodded. “Tell Poison Rose I said hi”

Fluttershy nodded. “Mom and dad, you’ve given me a wonderful life. You’re best parents a pony could ever ask for. I love you”

Mr. and Mrs. Shy began to cry, but nodded. “We love you too, sweetie”

“Rainbow, I know you are related to me because of adoption. But still, you made me feel like I still had family. Thank you for saving me when you found me”

Rainbow cried. “You’re welcome, sister”

“Applejack, take good care of Rainbow. You’re a very lucky mare to have her as your lover”

Applejack sniffled. “Ah will, for you”

“Pinkie, all I can say is that I know this is your first time to lose somepony as a friend. But please, do me one thing: never stop smiling”

Pinkie was about to break down, but she managed to force a smile. “I Pinkie Pie Promise”

“And Spike, take care of Twilight. You’re a good dragon, and I knew that from when I first saw you”

Spike tearfully nodded.

Fluttershy then turned to the side to see Bunny, who was already beginning to cry.

“And Bunny, you have always been there for me. Thick and thin. You’re more than just an apprentice or companion, you’re my friend. And I really hope to see God’s Kingdom” Fluttershy then hugged the young alien, whispering something in her ear. She nodded as Fluttershy put her down.

Fluttershy then turned to face the one she loved the most, her lover Twilight Sparkle. The Alicorn was already crying; she knew that this meant she was about to die.

“Twilight, I’m glad I was lucky enough to have a somepony like you to love. I know this will be hard, but please stay strong. I love you, never forget that”

Twilight began to sob. “Fluttershy, I love you too. You’re the best marefriend I ever had. I wish there was a way for you to survive this. How can I ever love again without you?”

“Do your best, Twilight…I love…you…” Fluttershy spoke softly, before closing her eyes and her heartbeat on the screen stopped. Her breathing stopped, a small tear fell out of her eye as her face left a smile. Bunny pressed one of her ears against the Pegasus’ chest, before signaling there was no heartbeat.

“Oh my goodness” Zephyr began to tear up. “Mom, is she…?”

“Yes, Zephyr” Mrs. Shy said one last thing before crying. “I’m afraid that our Fluttershy is…gone”

Mr. and Mrs. Shy then began to cry for losing their last daughter as Zephyr sobbed hysterically. Rainbow couldn’t contain herself as she cried her eyes out on Applejack’s shoulder. Pinkie’s mane and tail deflated while Spike pat her. Twilight openly sobbed on Fluttershy’s bedside, as though her crying will bring her back. Bunny tried to hold back her own tears as she nuzzled Fluttershy’s hoof.

Twilight noticed Bunny’s actions, fury filled up in her when she realized the alien was unable to help. “DON’T TOUCH HER!” she yelled.
Bunny looked up, confused and scared.

“YOU COULDN’T EVEN HELP HER! YOU KNOW SHE NEEDED YOU, BUT YOU JUST LET HER BE! YOU HAD A THE ABILITY TO DO SO, BUT YOU DIDN’T EVEN DO THAT!”

Bunny began to tear up. “Twilight, it wasn’t my fault. They wouldn’t let me…”

“GET OUT! GET OUT OF HERE! I NEVER WANNA SEE YOU AGAIN!”

Bunny began to cry; she couldn’t contain it anymore as she turned about face and ran off down the hallway. All the way through, she cried. Fluttershy’s dead, and Twilight hates her. She ran as fast as she could towards the path that led to the cottage.

Later that night…

Twilight yelled as she threw a table to the wall in anger. She used so much force that when the table made contact with the wall, it broke into a thousand pieces. She growled in rage from the pain and sadness in her heart.

“That won’t bring her back, you know” Spike said.

“THIS IS ALL RARITY’S FAULT! IF SHE DIDN’T KILL HER THEN FLUTTERSHY WOULD STILL BE ALRIGHT!”

“Yes, we all know. But you have to calm it down. You still have us, your friends, your family, your mentor Celestia…”

“I DON’T CARE ABOUT CELESTIA NOW!” Twilight yelled as the tears overtook her. “SHY’S DEAD! DO YOU HEAR ME?!”

Spike then approached Twilight and hugged her, which she immediately accepted. Twilight cried as Spike tried to comfort her. She took a long while before the dragon thought it was okay to talk. He then faced Twilight.

“I’m sorry” Spike whispered. “Look, I may not know the feeling of losing one I love, but I know what it feels like to have a heart broken. That has been since the day Rarity was found out to kill Fluttershy because she loved you. I was angry, but I had to move on. Twilight, she’s not really gone. She’s here” he then pointed to her chest. “In your heart. And, yes, her animals are leaving after the funeral. But, there is still one of Fluttershy’s friends that you can keep from leave”

Twilight thought for a bit, before she realized what she promised. “Bunny! I promised Fluttershy I would…” she began to cry as she realized her mistake. “And I said I didn’t want to see her again…Oh, Spike, what have I done?”

Twilight then began to cry as Spike hugged her.

“It will be alright, Rainbow” Applejack whispered as the Pegasus cried onto her shoulder.

“My…sister…” she sobbed.

“Oh, Gummi” Pinkie cried as she held the alligator. “I have to hold a funeral for one of my friends”

“Miss Rarity” one of the guards said. “You better get ready for a visit at the cemetery next week”

“Why?”

“Your victim is dead. Sniffer Bunny gave you a collar that keeps you from attacking. If you try so much as to hold a knife, it will shock you”

“Fluttershy’s dead?” Rarity held a hoof over her mouth as she felt like crying.

“Indeed. Your time in prison will be suspended for the next few hours at the funeral, and Thunder Cloud will be there to meet with Sniffer”

Rarity nodded as she sat on the floor. She then began to cry as one thing kept repeating in her head.

I killed my best friend.

Bunny had already informed the rest of the animals of their owner’s death. They all took it as they went to get ready for the funeral. For Angel, he knew that meant it was time to go to the forest and say goodbye to Bunny and the others. Dino was already getting them ready for the day. Bunny herself grieved all the way until she came to a place that may help her while waiting for the funeral.

As she approached the Garden, she knew that something would open up right beneath the stump in the center. As she went nearer, she finally found it: a small pool of water.

A pool with water from the Jordan River, she thought. She knew dipping in the water for more than a day would make her stronger for a complicated spell she needed. But, as she heard from Pinkie, it would take her a week before the whole funeral was ready. That amount of time would be able to help Bunny get enough power she needed. Without any more waiting, she jumped into the water as she closed her eyes. She then allowed sleep to overtake her as needed.

Twilight put on her mourning clothes and dress as Spike wore the suit. She knew this would be the last time she would see her marefriend’s body. For Spike, he hoped that Bunny would not be too upset to miss the whole event. Grabbing their white roses, they headed to the door.

Rarity put on the collar as she was escorted outside with Thunder Cloud. She knew that the least she could was to attend the funeral. After this, she’ll be in prison for the next forty years or until she died.

Pinkie still kept her mane deflated as she put on the black clothing. She never liked sadness, but her friend was dead. She grabbed her rose and got ready to go to the event she hosted.

Rainbow and Applejack got ready for the event, doing their best to stay away from crying too early. To Applejack, it was like losing an old friend. To Rainbow, it was losing her first sister.

Zephyr was having a hard time choosing his own mourning clothes, but his parents picked the right ones for him. He wanted to make his sister proud, so he refused. But they told him it may be the one thing she would allow, he reluctantly obeyed. He was the only child left, both his sisters were dead. As if losing Poison Rose very young wasn’t bad enough.

Bunny had already woken up from the week long absence and woke up the night before as she met up with Dino. She got ready for the funeral the next day. This would also be her farewell to Angel and the other animals.

Everypony got ready to go through with the whole event. After the time for word was over, Twilight and the others headed up to give their white roses to Fluttershy.

Rainbow lamented mentally about how she was the sister never had as she laid her rose. Applejack gave a sincere gratitude about how she once made life at the orchard better with vampire fruit bats because of the sanctuary. Pinkie whispered how this was her first ever held funeral was with one of her best friends. Rarity, though met with scorn for her being the cause, added an apology that she knew would never be pardoned. Twilight lamented that she doesn’t know if she could ever live on without her. Spike added how she would’ve made a great wife to Twilight. Angel came to give a daisy for his owner, mentally remembering how the caretaker raised him no matter how disobedient he was to her. Bunny arrived with a white rose and the leash Fluttershy walked her with.

I’d rather only have my leash when I walk with you, or not have it at all, just as how close we were, was Bunny’s explanation.

After that, they all on as Fluttershy’s coffin was lowered in the ground. When it was finally fully buried, the group faced each other. Everypony just cried as they took in the fact that their shyest friend was now gone.

“Bunny, what’s gonna happen now to you?” Twilight asked to break the silence.

“Angel and the rest of the animals are leaving to the forest; we’re saying goodbye today. After this, my guess is me and my pets are going home to E-arth since you don’t need us”

Twilight was upset for what she said that whole week ago. “Bunny, can we talk tonight?”

“See you at the castle?”

Twilight nodded.

“Sugarcube” Applejack tried comforting a devastated Rainbow Dash. “I’m sorry about her”

“My sister’s gone, Applejack” Rainbow spoke through the sobs. “And it was only after a few weeks after she found out about that”

Rarity watched the rest of the group at the wake of what she had done. “Girls, I’m sorry about…”

“Go away, Rarity” Twilight softly spoke.

Rarity was taken back at what the Alicorn said. “But, Twilight, I’m…”

“That’s Princess Twilight Sparkle to you!” she declared, using her title. “And don’t speak! Because of you, Fluttershy’s dead! You got overtaken by your own jealousy that you went and killed her just because she was dating your crush?! Well, guess what, Rarity! I HATE YOU!”

Rarity wanted to speak, but due to declaration and guilt, she couldn’t. She deserved this. It was all her fault. She was the one to blame for Fluttershy. Now, she didn’t just lose somepony she crushed on, she lost her friends. And, possibly even disrupted a balance of love and sent Bunny to go back to E-arth.

Rainbow Dash and Applejack headed to Sweet Apple Acres. There, they were greeted by Scootaloo and Applebloom. The fillies didn’t even bother them because they knew one was more upset than the other. Scootaloo was well aware of Rainbow’s adopting Fluttershy as a sister when they were younger and was aware she too just lost a sister, but one she never had. Rainbow Dash cried her way into the night, and Applejack did her best to comfort her.

Pinkie Pie went home, her mane deflated from depression. The Cakes tried to get her to cheer up, but she just walked past them. They said nothing as she closed the door to her room. There, she hugged Gummi as she grieved. Gummi, though he looked like he didn’t know anything, was well-aware of her situation.

Rarity was taken back to the Police, and she went without a fight. She hung her head in shame as Thunder Cloud led her to her cell. After he closed the door and left her with the guards, she picked up the book with her and Fluttershy’s pictures. She held it close as she lied down awake on her bed.

Angel bid farewell as he led the animals to the forest. With no caretaker to look after them, they were to return to the wild. Angle kept the collar that Bunny gave him as a remembrance. Bunny herself began to pack up everything she had in her suitcase. The case ready, she went to Twilight’s for their little evening chat. She brought along a small note that she found. The note read,

Bunny walked her way through the dark and lonely streets of Ponyville until she came to Twilight’s Castle. The eerie silence of the night was calming and comforting. It always gave a sense of peace. Bunny knocked on the door of the Castle to have it opened by Spike.

“Hey” he said.

“Hey” Bunny greeted back.

Spike just led Bunny inside before hugging her. She gladly returned it before pulling away.

“Where’s Twilight?” she asked.

“She’s in the Throne Room” Spike responded, leading the way.

Later, Bunny finally came to face the Alicorn. Twilight was sitting on her throne, staring at Fluttershy’s own. She could tell she felt like she was about to break down now that her marefriend was gone. Bunny silently approached as Spike stayed in the hallway. Twilight noticed the alien’s approaching so she got off her throne until she was finally infront of her.

“Bunny, about last week,” Twilight started, looking down. “I’m sorry about…” she was cut off when Bunny hugged her tightly. The Alicorn was surprised at first, but she gladly returned the hug. She knew this meant that the alien forgave her. But now, she had to make sure that she still had a chance to keep Bunny here at Equestria.

“I forgive you” Bunny whispered as she pulled away from the hug.

Twilight nodded. She then noticed that Bunny had a small note wrapped up in her paws.

“What’s that?”

“I don’t know. It just read To ‘Twilight Sparkle’. Maybe it’s Fluttershy’s. I didn’t read it though”

Without any more waiting, Twilight took the note, unwrapped it, and read it with her eyes.

Dear Twilight,

By the time you’re reading this, I must be dead. I know this will be a tough patch for you, but you must remember to stay strong. Rule Harmony and Friendship like you are meant to be. Don’t let sorrow rule you forever, since you live that long. And if you miss me, just remember that I’ll always be in your heart. And as for Bunny, I hope you take good care of her. She will always be there for you in hard times, maybe even help you be comforted. I love you

Twilight felt tears flood her eyes up at the letter’s words. This was Fluttershy’s last letter. How it got to Bunny she did not know. Perhaps when she was in the Hospital, she wanted to make sure so she wrote it while Bunny slept and got a bird to take it to her cottage and place it where the alien would find it.

“What did it say?” Bunny asked.

This was it. This was when Twilight had to take back what she said that week ago.

“Bunny, remember that promise I made to Fluttershy before she began to cough up like that?”

“Yes?”

“Well, I intend on keeping that promise”

Bunny’s eyes went wide. “You mean?”

Twilight then nodded before she hugged the alien. “I’m sorry” she whispered.

Bunny felt Twilight cry again, so she decided to hug back to help the Alicorn. Bunny sent Dino out of his Starseed to go and get her suitcase and come back to the Castle. Spike joined in for the group hug now that they knew Twilight needed it most. Twilight didn’t dare to let go of the alien in her hooves. This was practically Fluttershy’s last thing to entrust to her, and she would take care of it deeply.
