Our group of heros will journey that might be there last. They might come back with riches, or might come back with nothing. But who knows?
Raincloud asks her group of friends for a journey everyone will remember. Through a boat they shall go! When they reach land they will find out what the true meaning of life is. Even if they have to lose limbs, blood, and hair(oh please no!) they will continue on! Even if they pick up some other ponies along the way! Will they return? Find out and read the book already! Come on read it before I lose my temper. Actually it's good you are not or else I would fail in submitting this story because of the description again! So thanks! Now go on and read the story!
"HAHAHHAHA! You fools," Trekan's eyes glisten red as his white mane flew to the side.
"I'm so sorry guys, this is all my fault," I said, none of us being able to move. I started to cry.
"Guy's have you ever wondered what's OUTSIDE of Equestria?" I said. We where all sitting in my house in Ponyvill. "What life has in store for us? What life's secrets are?" Everyone looked at me, the white pegasus, sister to Rainbow Dash,Raincloud,"What I want to say is....I want to explore the world. All of us together," I looked at everyone.
"Well, that escalated quickly," Page, a white uniorn with glasses and son to two parents Manehattan in I believe, said.
"I know it's quick, but I think it's possible," I said," I've been thinking of this for a while," I looked down.
"Count me out," said Blackout, a black pegasus with a dark heart and a sad past. We kissed once, but that's beside's the point!
I smirked at him," Too weak?" I said.
"You know that stuff doesn't work on me," he said. I narrowed my eyes at him.
"I didn't need you anyway!" I said annoyed. I thought he would be a good companion to come. He's strong, that's a fact.
"I'm in," says Fallout, another white pegasus, brother to Scootalo. My face brighten. One down!
"Why not?" said Page."I'm in," my face brightened even more. Page is smart, he can help us with this.
"Me too," Feather Quill says, a blue pegasus with a taste amazing drawing skills. She can help with a map.
"Sure," says Hazard, a black unicorn with great courage and strength.
"Oh gosh," says Skye,a dark blue pegasus and unicorn, daughter of Nightmare moon," Now I'm pressured," she takes a deep breath then a smile," Sure!"
"Yay!" I shout.
"When do we leave?" says Page.
"Tommorow!" I say. Everyone looked at me. "A week?" I tried to make it a statement, it sounded more like a question. Everyone nodded.
"Blackout, you sure you don't want to come?" Feather Quill asks.
"Yeah, now I have to go," he says leaving. We all looked at him as he left.
...
"THAT LITTLE BAKA!!!" I yelled, almost everyone fell down in shock, exactly how I planed it.
"W-w-what's a baka?" said Page.
I sighed as if it was the dumbest question in the word.
"Can I join?" yelled Pinkie jumping in, Pinkie was a fun pony with a heart for all, also the girlfriend of Fallout.
"Sure," said Fallout.
"Are we going to find enough room for all of us?" I said.
"Yeah," everypony said.
"Sure Pinkie," I said.
A week later
"Wow, I can't believe we found a ship for SAIL," I said laughing, soon joined by Pinkie.
"Well, of course it is, every ship is meant to sail," Fallout said. I stopped laughing.
"STOP RUINING MY JOKES!" I whined."How does Pinkie like this guy?" I said under my breath.
"OK! The boat's ready!" said Page from on the boat. He was fixing it up, making sure it's alright for us to aboard.
"All aboard!" yelled Skye. We all jumped on.
"Wow, I can't believe we actually jumped from there to get on here!Except for Pinkie ," I looked at everyone. "Who's going to do first shift?"
"I'll take it," said Hazard.
"OK, I will be in my room if you need me," I went to the bottom part of the ship. I still couldn't believe how big this transplantation made of wood is. There was enough room for all of us. But one thing there was not of....
Legend said it was the biggest scream in Equestria,"NO WI-FI!!!!!!!" Everyone came rushing down.
"What happened?" said everyone.
"Didn't you hear?" I said, tears running down my face.
"No, we only heard some scream, to loud for us to focus what you screamed," said Fallout.
"No wi-fi! Now I can only watch the anime episodes that are downloaded onto my laptop," everyone looked at me.
"That's all?" asked Hazard.
"Wait, if you're here, who's driving?" now everyone was looked at Hazard, he awkwardly left, followed by everyone else.
Days later
Nothing had happened. I'm not sure if it's just me, but I've seen something. A shadow.....
Other then that. Nothing. Only me whining. But today was the day I was going to explore the shadows. I left my room after dark. I walked to the end of the hallway. No one had gone there before really. It was too dark for anyone to see so we stayed out of it's way. I carefully stepped on the wood. If ANYONE wakes up, they will tie me to my bed for the night.
"Hello," AHHHH WHAT WAS THAT? I stumbled and stood on my back hooves to see if I need to attack. No need so I returned back to normal.
I'm a foot in and I'm going insane. I turned around to go back. There was a pony in front of me. And no, it wasn't my friends. The Earth pony in front of me was ALL black. Basically like Pinkie, but Jet Black. And a stallion.
"Good bye, precious," he said, not moving his lips.
"FALLOUT!" yelled Feather from above. The pony, evaporated? I guess. I quickly ran to my room and left my room pretending to be tired.
"W-w-what happened?" I asked, rubbing my eyes with my hooves. Fallout left his room and ran upstairs. I followed him up. Of course!
"Scoot came on," said Feather, sitting next to a embarrassed Scoot.
"Scootaloo!" said Fallout. It's about to go down.
"You know this is dangerous!" I said. Scoot looked down at her hooves.
"I-I'm sorry, I knew I was going to miss you," she said.
"I think I should go back to bed," I said, leaving, forgetting about my main mission.
In the morning.
I went upstairs, smelling some bacon. Fallout must of made breakfast. I went to the....I don't know if it has a specific name, but basically the dinning room. Where plates were filled with food. Only Fallout, Scoot, Pinkie,and Feather Quill was there. Usually I would say hello but I knew everyone would just look at me. I sat down across from Feather Quill. I stared at my food before eating."Oh come on! Stop being grumpy you guys!" said the Pink pony.
In a few minutes everyone came up, surprised by our new pony. "When did she get here?" Page asked.
"Last night, she hoped on. We have no clue what to do with her when we are so far away," I said.
"Can't a unicorn just teleport her back?" said Skye. I shook my head.
"It might be too tiring," I said with a sigh, "But you can give it a try." Skye nodded.
"I will later," said Skye, sitting down. For the rest of the morning, we talked about our positions for the day.
After breakfast Skye tried to send Scoot back. No glow appeared from her horn.
"My magic, it's not working," said Skye looking at me.
"DUN DUN DUN!" played on a piano. We all looked at Pinkie. "What?"
"Shoot," I said. I looked at the filly."You got lucky," I said before looking away.
"What's happening Raincloud?" said Page.
"A magic barrier. We officially left Equestria. They set up some magic barriers so we wouldn't disturb other life forms that no one knows about yet. It should be over in a day or two," I said.
"But, can we wait that long?" asked Page.
"I guess we have to," Feather answered for me.
"Until then," stay on high alert for any creatures larking about," I said. everypony nodded, except for Fallout and Scoot.
"Ok! You have the stop being so grumpy!" yelled Pinkie. Fallout and Scoot ignored her. "Fine! I know something that will keep Fallout happy!" Pinkie kissed Fallout.
For a solid minute, the pegasus and earth pony where kissing. Usually I would joke and say," It's a better love story than midnight," but I couldn't ruin this. After they let go, fallout blushed. It was cute!
"Now that you two finished, let's continue with getting this boat to," I paused," The Calerva region," I said.
"You know who I am,"I woke up quickly, looking around frantically. Where is that voice? Who is that voice? I got up and walked around. I looked at my bed. There he was. That stallion from earlier.
"Who are you?" I ask. This time, he was a unicorn.
"You will find out soon enough,"he said, smirking. I could tell he was, even if being all black like a shadow. Everything stopped, I couldn't move. My eyes wondered to the clock, the hour, minute, and second hands where moving quicker then I could imagine. I looked out to see everything sped up. I saw friends, family, and strangers walk in and out my door quickly and then leaving. My friends and family usually came in black clothing, looking awfully sad. They strangers where teenagers with flashlights. Everything was going to fast to tell what they said. Some of them passed through me, like I was a ghost. No one saw me. Then, this one stallion came along. He had a white body, with a wild white mane. He had a name tag that said: Trekan. All he did was look at me, and smile.For me, he did if for a minute, for him, years. After that minute, he leaves. I can move.
The first thing I do is leave the room. I see floor under me broken, and poorly tried to be fixed. I climb up the stairs to the outside. The boat is now on a dry sea. It's horrible. I look around, trying to find anyone I can. The pony from earlier. Trekan. He's on the sand of what used to have water on it. I look at him. He looks at me.
"Who are you? What have you done?" I say, managing to have a steady voice. He smiles again. Not a single word from him.
"Au,Fe, and Ag," is all he said. Everything starts shaking. I close my eyes. I feel water droplets on my forehead. I open my eyes to see my friends above over me. Patting a wet towel over my forehead.
"First, desert," I said," We have five deserts in the area we are heading," I pause,"And those are only the found ones."
"Ten o'clock is a time, so we don't need to worry about that too much," says Page. I nod.
"Mind doesn't help us," I say," Maybe it has to do with a temple."
"Why are we trying to figure it out?" Feather asks.
"So see what life has in store, I have a bad vibe from this guy Raincloud is talking about," says Skye for me.
"OK! Now 3 of these desserts have temples. But there is no clue how many in each one. But because I got the elements, maybe a pyramid could be one too," I explain.
"Pegasus, it might be someone we have to fight, or a Pegasus will find something,"says Page.
"What about dark verses light?" I asked.
"Good verses bad probably," said Fallout.
"So, a mind temple or pyramid at ten o'clock with silver, gold, and iron," I conclude.
"We see land!" yells Hazard from the wheel.
"LAND HO!" Pinkie exclaims.
We all go to the wheel. We looked at the jungle ahead. I looked at the map and back up.I do that a few ore times. "This is connected to a dessert," I say. An hour later we get to the jungle. We decided to go and explore a bit before we come back, sleep, and explore in the morning. We didn't find much but some animal foot prints. Page recognized some. We just went back to the ship.
The next morning when we woke up, we immediately got ready and go out. We all took hey burgers with us to eat.
"We go East," I said. We started heading East. Inn about an hour, we didn't really find anything so we where going to go back to the ship.
"Guys, I'll see if the path is clear," I said.
"I'll join," said Hazard. All I did was nod at him. We started walking West and talk. We didn't talk about much, just normal things like hobbies. In about 30 minutes in, we see something horrible. Our ship was on fire. Most of it was already burnt into crisps. We galloping back the our group of colorful friends.
"The ship, it's on fire," I say. We all galloped, some flying, back to the ship. It was all just a pile on ashes sinking to the bottom of the ocean. I looked at Pinkie. She looked like she was trying to say something positive.
"Ha, wota, cha cha ec," what was that? We all looked behind us. A group of ponies wearing tribe make up where chanting the unfamiliar words. They where all holding spears. Fallout immediately gets out his crossbow. Skye singles him to put it down, he obeys.
"Canta, wanta wanta, tote neh," she says," Eno Rainbow hetu loto, eh Pink heto laph," she says pointing to me and Pinkie.
"Batat lata kuto ec," one of the ponies replies. They lower there weapons.
"They won't hurt us, there going to show us there village," she says," Taben no, eto ta," the ponies started walking.
They took us to a there village, where there was buildings and buildings built over water with only wood. And millions of other ponies walking around. One of the ponies we where following yelled," KABA!" A pegasus pony walks over to us. She had long black hair and green body.
"Stellar?" I ask. Stellar looks at me and smiles.
"Jabi te," she says to the pony who called her. She looks at us and say," Well hello!" she says.
With Blackout.
"Are you sure they won't catch us?" asks a changling.
"Well, I wanted to know about this area, so I came over to this region. The village ponies found me and I'm staying here for a few months!" she says.
"How did you know the language? And why is your name Kaba?" I ask.
"There is one pony here, Ecan. He is the only one where who speaks English. And Kaba means Bubbles in Tensanoba," she explains. We start walking through the village."I'll show you to the pony," she says. As we walk sales ponies try to sell us items, Stellar and Skye immediately rejects them.
"Hey, Skye, how did you learn Tenanoba?" Stellar asks.
"Long story," Skye says. Soon after we arrived to a building. It was a small simple hut. When we entered, we saw a stallion with brown fur and a short blue mane.
"Ah, ban hetty, Kaba?" asked the stallion.
"These are my friends from Equestria," said Stellar.
"Welcome to Jambiant," said Ecan. He pointed to some tea. We all sat down and took a cup. I took a sip. It was amazing.
"This is delicious!" I said.
"Thank you," he replies.No one talks.
"Do you know any deserts in this region? Or around it?" I finally ask.
"A few, about ten in this region," Stellar says.
"A most are connected and just said to be different deserts," says Ecan.
"Ok, until tomorrow, can we stay here?" asked Fallout.
"Oh! What's this?" asked Pinkie. her and Scootalo where looking at a vase that seemed to have pictures of pony worriers. I tried to look at the pictures, but it was too hard with how crowded the area was.
"That's a vase said to be made by these people's past lives," says Stellar. I manage to get my way to the vase. There was a picture two ponies looking away from each other, back to back. Between them, ponies of all kind fighting. They all looked.....familiar....
They walked into a room. Darkest room ever, and I mean ever! One pony sitting. They pony said,"I have you item, not give me mine," the pony, one of our heroes, gave them the item. The pony passes them a small hand mirror.
"Thanks," says our hero."Do you think my lover will stay with me?" they ask.
"Of course! That's why I gave you the mirror! I promise, it will work," the pony says. "Don't worry a bit....."
Our hero looks in the mirror, to see them self. But different....
In the..........
"Ha, I can't wait to get out of this stupid, little...." said a woman, another one of our heroes. Long, red hair, with highlights of black. A spiky collar that says it all.
"Of course," said another one. Male. Brown messy hair with a single blood red highlight through it.
"F YEAH," yelled his little sister.
"Remember the plan everyone," said the first pony in the......,"You guys are just the substitutes, I'll be the hit man."
After a day at the village, they gave us some supplies and we headed out. "Now what?" I ask.
"We head out...." says Headsplit. "And that's all."
"Okay, but when the sunsets we will set up camp. " I said, everyone nodded. We walked for a few hours before taking a break. Fallout and Hazard went hunting and the rest of us plans even more.
"I'm going to go camp out the area, see if I see something," says Skye. She leaves and looks around the area. She doesn't see much at first, but them she notices rocks. Not the types of rocks you see around this parts. They shine. She follows them. She stops after a few feet and goes back to everyone else. They all looked up and sighed.
"What is it?" I asked, annoyed we can't take a break.
"It's a path," she looks over her shoulders," It's made with rocks but it's still hard to map out with so little of them." She looks back at us. I get up and tell the rest to stay there. Then me and Skye head out. As we got further and further down the path, I see less trees and more light pass by. When sounds of laughter and voices of ponies talking comes along. I clear a few branches out of what's blocking our view.
We ran back to the rest. Fallout and Hazard hadn't come back yet. "Guys! We found something!"
"I'll got look for Fallout and Hazard," says Page, reading my mind. He left and returned a few minutes later with them. We walked to the branches and move the them out of the way, to revile a camp. I walked out first.
"WATCH OUT!" I looked up to see a stallion on a vine, swinging to me.
"GAHH!" my mane stood in fear as he hit me. I looked up to see a stallion with white fur, green eyes, wild yellow mane and tail and a cheerful smile, earth pony.
"Sorry about that! Just swinging around," he says.
"It's okay, I'm used to it around her," I point at Pinkie. He gets off of me and helps me up.
"NEW PONIES?!!?" three voices yell.
"These look like keepers, at least the mare makes it look like it," says the stallion, looking behind him.
"YAY!" the voices yell again. Three teenage ponies run over. All with dark orange fur, brown mane and tail and dark blue eyes, unicorns. Two boys and one girls.
"Hello!" they said in unison.
"Okay, keepers? What do you mean where keepers?" I said.
"Well, I mean if you want to stay, you can!" says the stallion.
"How come you guys speak English?" Skye asks.
"Oh," The stallion put on a proud look," We know forty-seven languages!"
"Which I guess most are fake," says Page.
Everyone in our little group laughs. Oh, I'm going to call our group that.
No.
HEY! Don't take my keyboard away from me Hazard!
"Hey!" yells the stallion.
"So, what your names?" says Fallout.
"Oh, I'm Starnight,"says the Stallion.
"Girls name," I say.
He blushed," Yeah....just call me.." he thinks.
"Just gonna call you night," says Skye.
"I'm Shanaka!" says one of the teens, a male one, different from his brother by his cutie mark and a scar.
"Kanagi," says his brother.
"Nani," says their sister.
"Three languages," says Skye. "Why would you all have three different languages?"
"We told you, we know forty-seven languages!" says Night.
