But is soon forced to battle to save her sister while a group of ponies hiding in the shadows try to take over the Equestria and bring a new age of terror to ponies and creatures of all kinds.

The school bell of the Ponyville school house rang to tell the fillies and colts that school is over and now the class is free.
"Well that wraps up today lesson class. I hope you all enjoy your summer" Miss Cheerlee said making the fillies and colt of Miss Cheerlee's class left.
Three fillies a white unicorn with a pink and purple mane, a orange pegasus with a purple mane and a yellow Earth pony with a red mare wearing a pink bow on her head.
"Hey Crusaders, wait up" a voice cried as the three fillies looked behind them to see two other fillies a pink Earth pony with a pink mane wearing a tiara on her head and the other filly also a Earth pony a silver coated one with a silver mane.
"Hey Diamond, hey Silver what's up?" Sweetie Belle said causing Scootaloo to roll her eyes.
"We was just wondering if we could hang out with you for the afternoon" Diamond said while Scootaloo looked at her.
"Really?" She question just before Apple Bloom stopped her from talking by her hoof.
"Sure ya two we just goin' to play the card game known as Duel Monsters" Apple Bloom said
"Oh I love that game!" Silver Spoon cried while Diamond smiled
"Yeah it one of my favorites" she added
"Do we have to?" Sweetie Belle asked causing the others to look at her.
"Ya don' like Duel Monsters?" Apple Bloom said just like a question because she couldn't believe it.
"Yeah how come ya don't like it Sweetie, it the coolest game around" Scootaloo said.
"And boring. That game is just dull and not for me, I'm heading off to Sugar Cube Corner. I don't mind if you girls play but count me out" Sweetie Belle said walking away to the sweet shop as the others followed.
"Ah now get rid of ma two leave three monster. Feedback Warrior and Marauding Captain to summon ma Melomelody The Brass Djinn" Apple Bloom said getting rid of her two monster to get one.
For the last five or so minutes Apple Bloom has been fighting Scootaloo in a friendly duel, two thousand life points each to start off with. So far Scootaloo has 1800 life points left with one face down card in her magic and trap zone, while Apple Bloom had 1200 life points with just one monster. Sliver Spoon and Diamond silently cheered for with ever pony they wanted to win just while Sweetie drank her milkshake with a bored look in her eyes.
"So that monster doesn't even have enough attack points to finish me off" Scootaloo pointed out before seeing her friend smile.
"Ah don' thin' so Scoots ma monster special effect can attack ya twice in a turn" Apple Bloom said making Scootaloo's eyes widen in shock.
"Wait..." Scootaloo said before Apple Bloom cut her off
"Sorry but no waitin' Melomelody The Brass Djinn finish this duel off" Apple Bloom said just making Silver Spoon mark Scootaloo's life points at now zero.
"That was a great game Bloom" Scootaloo said
"Ya won' to bad ya self Scoots" Apple Bloom said just as Sweetie Belle stood up.
"This was well fun isn't the right word to use, but I'll see you girls tomorrow. Rarity should want me home soon" Sweetie Belle said before leaving Sugar Cube Corner.
"How can Sweetie Belle not like Duel Monsters?" Diamond question making Apple Bloom shrug
"How the heck should ah know. Ahem not in charge in which she like and which she doesn' like" Apple Bloom said
"So Scootaloo want to duel me?" Silver Spoon asked as Scootaloo nodded.
Sweetie Belle walked into her room, jumping onto her bed and looking to her right. See a Duel Monster deck sitting on her bedside table, Sweetie always question why her sister bought her a deck of playing card even if she didn't care about the game at all.
Sweetie horn lit up in a light green glow to look at the card at the bottom. For some weird reason the young unicorn liked this card as it was just an magician wearing nothing but purple and looked like those things Lyra thought was real. A smile formed on her lips even not liking this boring game this card would be her favorite: The Dark Magician.
Placing the deck back into the deck box and onto her bedside table. Her eyes looked up to the roof in boredom, nothing was happening no noises was made or coming from anyway.
"Wait, where's Rarity?" Sweetie Belle question grabbing her saddlebag in a rush making the deck box fall into the bag without the young unicorn knowing about it.
Walking down the stairs and into the kitchen she saw a note left by her sister as Sweetie Belle read it to try to see where her sister is.

"That was the most weirdest note I have ever readed, but at less I know where Rarity is" Sweetie Belle said before running out of the Carousel Boutique.
Running to the big and important building without her noticing her friends following her.
"Hoofs of my sister you creep" Sweetie Belle said just when she entered the room. Seeing her sister tried up to a chair and an unicorn stallion
A tall white stallion with a blonde mane and perfect teeth.
"Blueblood? What the heck do you want with my sister?" Sweetie Belle question him causing the stallion to turn around to face the filly.
"To be my bride of course. You see young one I can't be a true prince unless I marry and your sister the fair Rarity is the perfect choice" Blueblood said making Sweetie Belle looked at him in rage.
"Oh, I would never marry you! You pig!" Rarity cried out just as Sweetie Belle thought of something
"How about a duel?" Sweetie asked
"Please I'm the best in Canterlot, I won't waste my time with you" Blueblood said
"Well I'm the best in Ponyville" Sweetie Belle lied "Look if I win you let my sister go"
"And what if I win?" Blueblood question making Sweetie swallow air
"If you win you will be able to marry Rarity, so do we have a deal?" She asked while Rarity shook her head making Blueblood smile.
"Of course. I'll go set up my duel area" Blueblood said before he walked away leaving the two sisters alone.
Sweetie Belle ran up to Rarity with a dumb smile on her face.
"Are you sure you can win?" Rarity question
"Of course I play this game all the time and never loss one duel" Sweetie Belle lied making her bit her lip. "Don't you worry Rarity I will beat Blueblood!"
"Every time you say don't worry. I always worry more" Rarity said just as Blueblood entered the room with holding a button in his magic.
"So where's the field?" Sweetie Belle said causing a big duel field to appear making Sweetie Belle to looked at it in surprise.
"Ready to lose?" Blueblood said while walking to his side making Sweetie walk to hers.
"Ready to win" Sweetie said as the field stands lifted the two up to the place where you place the deck.
"Let's duel" they both said at once making both of them life points at two thousand.
"I'll let you begin, seeing how this won't take to long" Blueblood said
"Well I'll start by placing this box thing in my magic room that says I'm able to get a card from my deck" she said as a golden box with a card going into it and then closing. "Then I'll place one face down card and summon this dragon thing"
A small blue dragon with sharp claws and teeth with his wings connected to the arms.
Blueblood looked at the filly just as Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, Diamond Trina, and Silver Spoon entered the building. To see Sweetie Belle fighting Blueblood
"Sweetie? What the heck, ya said that ya hated this game" Apple Bloom cried out
"Yeah you never played in your life" Scootaloo added making Rarity cried out in rage.
"You don't know how to play this game!" Rarity screamed "I'm doomed"
"Oh this is perfect! Not only am I going to get a wife but it going to be easy" Blueblood said before laughing.
"Well I see a lot of talk but no action. Make your move this duel isn't over!"
"Fine then. I'll place one card face down and summon Card Guard and active my field spell The Gates of Dark World" Blueblood said.
A large door rise from the ground with a metal monster with 1600 attack points that went up to 2100.
"Now destroy her dumb Wing Guardian" Blueblood said
Sweetie: 2000 - 1500
"I'll just put one card face down and end my turn" Sweetie Belle said making Blueblood grin.
"Child play. I summon my Snoww, Unlight of Dark World" Blueblood said as a woman with metal top, white skirt, white cape and a long scarf. "Destroy her face down card"
His maid-aim attack her ladybug with four stars on it back sending it to the graveyard with both of Blueblood's monsters with it.
"My turn. I summon this bird thing in attack mode, to attack you" Sweetie said making Scootaloo roll her eyes at her friend description
As a bird yellow bird with giant wings as it attack Blueblood directly.
Blueblood: 2000 - 600
"Then I'll active this magic card, your turn" Sweetie said with a giant stone wall blocking both of Sweetie and Blueblood's monsters to attack.
"I summon my Sangan and end my turn" Blueblood said as a small monster that had 1000 attack to go to 1500.
Sweetie Belle drawn the next card and got her card in the gold box in her hoof. Smiling at the monster she saw "I summon my Dark Magician in attack mode"
"Oh so she knows what that card is!" Diamond cried as the Dark Magician rose to the field sharing a smile at Sweetie Belle.
"Now why does Sweetie know this one but not the others?" Silver question
"It her favorite" Apple Bloom said causing the others fillies to look at her "Look she had a grin on her face knowin' that this here duel is hers"
"My turn, I summon my Belial - Marquis of Darkness" a large monster with a giant sword with 2800 attack points to 3300 "Now destroy her Dark Magician"
"I active my trap card" Sweetie Belle said making her Dark Magician attack go to 3000 attack but the warrior still destroyed it. "You'll pay of that!"
Blueblood: 600 - 100
Sweetie Belle: 1500 - 1200
"I'm just going to switch my bird to defense and place one card face down and another one in defense mode" Sweetie Belle said making Blueblood smile.
"I have already won. I summon my Goblin King in attack mode" a small goblin with 2500 attack points joined the battle "Then I'll end my turn"
The Cutie Mark Crusaders walked on the road to they school while Sweetie Belle eyed her two friends on the way over there. With both of them wearing big stupid grins on they face.
"So you girls told no pony about my duel." Sweetie Belle said causing the two to quickly look at each other
"Of course we didn't tell anypony" Scootaloo said, making Sweetie Belle just give her a stare.
"What ah want to know is, why do ya not want anypony to know?" Apple Bloom asked, Sweetie Belle let out a sign
"It because if anypony would to know about it would be nothing but 'oh duel me, Sweetie Belle!' I played the game once and that's good enough for me" Sweetie Belle said just before the Cutie Mark Crusaders entered the School grounds.
"Hey look it's Sweetie Belle! The filly who defeated Blueblood!" A colt cried out causing all of the other fillies and colts to stop and run up to the unicorn filly.
"You told no pony I see" Sweetie Belle said making Scootaloo let out a laugh and Apple Bloom rub the back of her neck.
"Sweetie we didn't do this" Scootaloo said
"I did and your welcome" the voice of Diamond Tiara said walking by them with her friend.
"I tried to talk her out of it. Really!" Silver Spoon said making the farm filly mad at the pink coated mare.
"Diamond, ya know that Sweetie doesn' like being in the spotlight. Isn't that right?" Apple Bloom question, looking at where her friend once was but now gone. Making Apple Bloom cause I glare aim at Scootaloo
"What? Oh where did Sweetie go?" Scootaloo asked just noticing the one crusader gone. Just before the bell rang causing Apple Bloom and Scootaloo not able to go and search for they friend.
"Oh come on. How bad can it get?" Diamond Tiara question
"Oh Sweetie gets really weird when she's in the spotlight" Scootaloo stated
"Wait. How weird?" Silver Spoon asked
Sweetie Belle sat on her bed while being wrapped around by her blankets. Hiding herself from the ponies outside.
"They was all looking at me. No pony else, why am I so special?" Sweetie question out loud to no pony since she by herself.
"See, she's not even trying" a voice sounding female said making the young filly be frozen in shock
"What?" She whispered
"I trust her, I know lady Sweetie Belle won't let us down" a different voice this time sounding male said.
"Who's....Who's there? Show your...Self" Sweetie Belle said sounding terrified
"Wait. She can hear us?" A weird sounding voice question
"It seems so, that just fantastic" the same female said making Sweetie Belle look around the empty room.
"Okay I'm hearing voices now. Nothing that bad I'm sure it nothing" Sweetie said to herself, probably causing whomever else in the room to roll his or her eyes.
"We should show our self to her. I know it the right thing to do" the male voice said causing the young unicorn filly to look at her bedside table.
"Umm...Duel Monster deck, you can talk?" Sweetie Belle asked drawing her top card The Dark Magician and placing him face up.
"Yes lady Sweetie Belle we can talk" The Dark Magician said causing Sweetie Belle to faint.
Sweetie Belle's eyes slowly flutter open seeing that she now lay on the floor of her room.
"I had the strangest dream, where my Duel Monster deck talk to me" Sweetie Belle said to herself before letting out a small laugh.
"You have faint four times already, please don't freak out" Dark Magician said causing Sweetie to laugh like a crazy pony
"So you can talk?" She question with three cards face up her Dark Magician, Black Luster Soldier and Mystical Elf.
"Indeed Sweetie Belle, it an old and forgotten magic that no many can use" Mystical Elf said
"Only few ponies now can hear us monsters and you are one of them" Dark Magician said making Sweetie Belle blink in confusion.
"So I can hear my duel monster cards talk even though I don't like this game and only know one card" Sweetie pointed out
"Pretty much, you are the worst choice to have this power" The Black Luster Soldier said
"Wait then why couldn't I hear you in my duel against Blueblood?" She asked
"Because we didn't know you had that power lady Sweetie Belle. If we did then maybe" The Dark Magician answered.
"Makes sense sort of, I don't know what to think" Sweetie Belle said, breathing in and out with her eyes closed.
"I think I know what to do" she said grabbing her duel deck and placing it in her saddlebag before running out the door.
Somewhere hidden deep underground lay a cave with strange and out-dated writing that no pony to this day can understand and read.
A red stallion pegaus with a black and blue mane with a boxing bag as his cutie mark walk next to an amber coloured Earth pony mare with a red and white mane with an amber stone as her cutie mark.
The pair walk to a unicorn stallion with a black coat and mane with red eyes and no cutie mark sat and talked in the language on the walls.
"You called us master" the mare said causing the unicorn to stop talking and look at the pair
"Welcome Amber and Knuckles do you know what happen yesterday?" The Master question them
"No sir, what happen?" The stallion known as Knuckles question
"Blueblood got defeat by a filly oh happy days" The Master said
"What so special about that sir" the mare also known as Amber asked "It was just dumb luck"
"Oh Amber there is nothing known as dumb luck. You win or you lose that the end of the story" The Master said causing Amber and Knuckles to share a look.
"But that would if it wasn't time. Legend states once the prince falls from grace the age of Shadows will begin" The Master added
"You want us to begin getting more ponies to join" Amber said
"No Amber I need that filly known as Sweetie Belle out of the picture" The Master said "And I know perfect pair of brothers to do so. Get me Flim and Flam"
Celestia eyes shot open from the vision she saw with one pony came to her mind.
"He returned. But what does he want with the filly who beat Blueblood?" Celestia question before she began writing a letter.
"Apple Bloom, Scootaloo!" Sweetie Belle cried running into the clubhouse causing the two to turn and look at her
"What's up Sweetie?" Scootaloo question
"My duel monster cards can talk" Sweetie Belle said making the pair of fillies to share a look before falling on their backs and laughing.
"Girls!" Sweetie Belle cried out
"Sorry Sweets but ya can' talk to ya cards because they are ya know. Cards" Apple Bloom said making Sweetie Belle lips form a smile.
"Apple Bloom how about a duel?" Sweetie question
"Ya want to duel me, ah sorry Sweets but ya just an learner it won' be fair" Apple Bloom said
"But if you beat me you be better then both me and Blueblood but if I win you believe me" Sweetie Belle said causing the young Earth pony to start thinking.
"Fine then Sweetie, ma deck against ya's four thousand life points each and sacrifices" Apple Bloom said while Scootaloo got a pen and paper.
"Fine by me Apple Bloom, what's sacrifices?" She question
"It you can only summon level one to four, five and six need one monster while seven and eight need two. You getting rid of one monster to summon a more powerful one" Scootaloo explained to the beginner.
"Makes sense" Sweetie said just before Apple Bloom got ready
"Let' duel ma friend" Apple Bloom said making Sweetie place her deck on the floor of the clubhouse.
"Ah'll start. Ahem place two cards face down and one in face down defense ya move" Apple Bloom said placing the cards on the floor of the clubhouse.
"Ok, so I place two cards face down and active my magic spell card thing it says that get rid of one card from my hand to get rid of your monster. Then I end with one card face down your move Apple Bloom."
"Ah summon ma Giant Rat and active ma Blustering Winds" Apple Bloom said making her monster gain 1000 attack points "Destroy her face down monster"
Sweetie Belle moved her Mystical Elf to the graveyard seeing Apple Bloom monster which was at 1400 now at 2400.
"I pass" Sweetie said making the Rat monster attack points go back to 1400.
"Ah summon ma Zubaba Knight in attack mode and then ah'll end ya move." Apple Bloom said causing both of the other crusaders to look at her.
Sweetie Belle drawed just seeing another trap that she just placed on the field before passing.
"Ah get rid of ma two monster to summon ma Buster Blader in attack mode now attack Sweetie!" Apple Bloom said
"Sorry A.B I got a trap go my cylinder card. It umm..." Sweetie Belle just knowing now that she had no idea which any of her cards did.
"It take ma attack and goes back at me ya don' get hurt." Apple Bloom said telling her friend about her card
Apple Bloom: 4000 - 1400
"My turn and I place my friend in face down defense mode, then I'll end" Sweetie said
"Ah do the same but ahem going to attack ya face down" Apple Bloom said making Sweetie lose her Mine Golem making Apple Bloom lose 500 more life points.
Apple Bloom: 1400 - 900
"Ma turn now Ah summon ma Gogogo Golem and flip ma Spirit of the Harp to XYZ summon ma Maestroke The Symphony Djinn. Then Ah active ma trap XYZ Effect to destroy one of ya cards and ah chose ya face down card in ya magic and trap zone by ya deck." Apple Bloom said making Sweetie get rid of her trap card. "Ah end"
"And here I am placing two cards face down" Sweetie Belle joked informing it now her friend turn.
"Ah active ma Card Destruction getting rid of our hooves and replacing them with the number of card we both had before. Then ah end" Apple Bloom said making Sweetie Belle smile.
"I active one of my face downs a magic card called Black Luster Ritual and I use my two level four cards to summon my Black Solider in a Luster mode in attack mode" Sweetie Belle said said causing Scootaloo and Apple Bloom to look at each other.
"Close Sweetie, it called the Black Luster Soldier" Scootaloo said making Sweetie Belle blush.
"Oops, destroy her Buster Blader!"
Apple Bloom: 900 - 500
Apple Bloom move her best card to her graveyard before drawing a new one. "Ah active ma magic card Fissure. It destroys ya the monster with lower-est attack, face up. So say goodbye to ya Black Luster Soldier then ah place one card face down, ya move" Apple Bloom said
"I active my Typhoon and Tornado to destroy both of the cards in your magic and trap card zone. Then place one card in face down defense mode and active Rain of Mercy"
Sweetie Belle: 4000 - 5000
Apple Bloom: 500 - 1500
"Then end by placing a card in my trap zone" Sweetie Belle finished
"Ah active ma Swords of Revealing Light. It makes it so ya can' attack for three turns and ya face down get flipped up but stay in defense mode" Apple Bloom said seeing Sweetie's two monsters Inpachi and Winged Dragon, Guardian of the Fortress.
"Attack her dragon"
"Sorry Apple Bloom, I active my trap card. My move I get rid of my two monsters to summon my Red Eyes Black Dragon and end my turn"
"Ah active ma XYZ Energy. All ah have to do is get rid of ma XYZ monster to destroy ya Red Eyes then ah end"
"I active my Monster Reborn to bring back my Black Luster Soldier in attack mode and end" Sweetie Belle said
"Ah give. There is nothin' in ma deck that can stand to ya Black Luster Soldier"
"Wait. I won?" Sweetie Belle question
"Without losing any life points as well" Scootaloo added
"So ya hear duel monster cards talk?" Apple Bloom asked while picking up her cards
"Yeah but only a few ponies can hear them so I guess I'm one of them"
"That doesn't make any sense" Scootaloo pointed out
"Sense or no sense ya girls need to git on home so ya two can have ya dinner we'll talk 'bout this more 'morrow" Apple Bloom said making the other two crusaders leave the clubhouse.
"See you later Apple Bloom" Sweetie Belle said before leaving
"See ya later alligator" Scootaloo said before leaving
Apple Bloom smiled watching her friends go on home. Closing her eyes knowing she will see them the next day still pains her on watching them go off.
Music from behind a small stand filled the stores and alleys of Fillydelphia. The noise was loud and deafening, it echoed off the walls of the homes that belonged to the ponies who lived in the city. Not a moment sooner after the town's ponies arrived in front of the stage, two almost identical ponies jumped up and onto the wood platform, greeting the group that surrounded them with outstretched arms. They took a pose.
One of the yellow coated brothers that took the spotlight on the stage brought out a brown card from under his blue striped vest and presented it to the gathered ponies. The card's backside was decorated in swirls and the front held the image of a grimacing monster. He trotted to the edge of the stage before taking in a large breath.
"Hello every pony, and welcome-"
His brother approached from behind to join at his side "-to Flim and Flam's deck of cards stand!" The two brothers bellowed in unison.
"Yes, these duel monster cards are what we sell on Celestia's day today!"
"They are rarest and most powerful cards you can get!"
"Battle your friends!-"
"-Or your enemies!?"
"For a well played game of..."
The brothers; Flim and Flam, came to each other's side once more, their cheeks almost touching. "Duel Monsters!!!"
"And they are only twenty bits for ten cards!" Flam finished for his brother.
The ponies around the stage stared in awe, in an instant the gathered group start handing out their coin pouches and purses in their direction. The ponies screamed, hollered, shrieked, and yelled, trying their best to reach the brothers without incident to obtain their soon to become cards. From behind the crowd there were a pair of ponies wearing dark cloaks with hoods that covering their face. The pair looked at each other in disbelief, shocked at how the brothers managed to scam the ponies with ease. The cards the brothers sold were obviously fake and copied, some weren't even finished.
As the crowd died down, each and every pony left with their own deck of cards. The brother waved at the leaving crowd with a smirk. Flim and Flam disappeared from view as they walked to the back of the stage ready to count the coin they scammed off the locals. The dark ponies trotted around the back of the stage and followed the brothers. As the duo approached the back door, the taller pony raised his left forearm ready to strike the door. Before his hoof touched the wood surface, the door opened. Flim's head leaned out into the open world.
"Sorry but we are sold out! You two have to come back tomorrow," Said ponies motioned their hooves to the back of their coifs and removed their hoods.
Flim's eyes widened at the site before him. It was Knuckles and Amber.
"Sorry Flim,” Amber smirked. “But we're not here to buy. We're here to sell"
Flam's head peaked behind the door above Flim, he stared at the two with a smile. “Well in that case come right in!”
He opened the door and gestured for Amber and Knuckles to enter their carriage. They smiled and entered, Flam shut the door behind them and jumped over to his couch where he relaxed and counted the coin next to him. “So what you sellin'?”
"We know you want revenge on the Apple family?”
Flim slammed the coin back down on the table. “You know then…”
“Everypony knows Flim, your humiliation wasn't kept a secret!” Knuckles retorted.
"And we can help you with that, but you have to do something for us first" Knuckles said.
"And what is that?" Flam asked, looking over his shoulder.
"Destroy a filly known as Sweetie Belle, and when you do..." Amber gave both brothers black duel disks. “Use these…”
"If we beat this Sweetie Belle in a duel you will help us destroy the Apples?" Flim question, attaching one of the duel disks to his left forearm.
"In deed, do we have a deal?" Knuckles raised his brow, wondering if the two brothers would take their offer.
"Deal!" the brothers shouted in unison.
"So where is Sweetie Belle?"
"...Ponyville"
"You girls are going to buy a what?" Sweetie Belle question while the crusaders stood outside the card shop.
It took fifteen minutes of trying to just talk Sweetie Belle to join the two to the closed shop which doesn't open in another hour.
"A duel disk, it super cool too, you can have an awesome duels each and every time" Scootaloo said almost hopping making Sweetie Belle turn to Apple Bloom
"And you?" She question
"Ah like the game, ahem aloud to buy an duel disk" Apple Bloom said turning her head to not let the young unicorn look at her eyes.
Sweetie Belle let out a long sigh just when a stallion with a yellow coat and brown mane wearing big nerdy gasses as his cutie mark is trading cards.
"Hello Apple Bloom and Scootaloo" the stallion said
"Hi Card Trader this is our friend we told you before, Sweetie Belle" Scootaloo said pulling her friend next to her so Sweetie couldn't escape.
"Your the filly that defeated Blueblood, that awesome" Card Trader said just before opening his shop.

"Yes now Blueblood hear my words, do not let anger full you in your duel. It will only end in defeat" Zecora said, with Blueblood waving it off.

Sweetie Belle walked through town, until she stop at at seeing Blueblood standing near the clock tower.
"Sweetie Belle I want a rematch" Blueblood demand
"What? No way I don't like you but I don't want to hurt you" Sweetie Belle said, causing Blueblood to load up his duel disk.
"Afraid dumb luck won't save you a second time?" He asked, with Sweetie noting his Duel Disk isn't one of the Shadow Ponies.

A demon like dragon rose back to the field with it small yellow eyes. With it gray body and black wings.
"That thin' has two thousand and seven attack points?" Apple Bloom question
"Next I active my field card Mystic Plasma Zone and end my turn" Blueblood finish with a large purple cloud covering the battle field with lightning hitting his dragon making it attack go up to 3100.
Sweetie Belle paused looking through the cards in her hoof.
"I place one monster in defense mode and end my turn" Sweetie Belle said
Master Chase sat on his throne with Amber and Knuckles bored out of their minds.
"Do we ever do anything?" Knuckles asked, just when the doors open.
The two Shadow Ponies looked at Celestia walking into the room.
"Chase" Celestia said causing Amber and Knuckles to stand in the way.
"Stop if you duel her it will end in defeat. Let me face this one" Master Chase said, getting off his throne with the Earth pony and pegasus leaving.
"My dear friend, we meet again. Are you enjoying having my title as King of Games?" Master Chase asked
"You don't care about that! I'm going to put a stop to your plans with the Shadow Realm" Celestia said, making Master Chase laugh.
"Please you're not a filly of pure heart. You'll go down easily" Master Chase said, loading up his duel disk.
"We'll see about that" Celestia return
"Why do you fight me? We have it in our power to begin the world over again. To make it better" Master Chase stated.
"Your views on the world is mislead, that why I'm going to put a stop to it!"

"Let duel" they both said.
"I'll start Celestia, by summoning my Archfiend Soldier to the field in attack mode" Master Chase said
"All I will do is set a monster in face down defense mode" Celestia said, ending her turn.
"Meant to be the Queen of Games Celestia, Archfiend Soldier attack her face down card!" Master Chase ordered
"You just attack my favorite monster! Marshmallon" Celestia said, with the monster attack the pink glop with it doing nothing.

"Yes I lose one thousand life points when it get attacked, while face down" Master Chase said.
"I summon my Sangan in attack mode" Blueblood said while his monster attack power grew to 1400.
"Next attack her face down monster Sangan"
"Sorry Blueblood but your dragon is returning back to your hoof. Thanks to my friend Hane-Hane" Sweetie Belle said with a cocky smile.
"Fine, I end" Blueblood finish, with that powerful monster off the field.
"I just place one card face down and summon my Shinning Angel in attack mode and end"
"Well just one monster in face down defense mode will do for now" Blueblood said, trying to hide his smile.
"I summon my Dark Magician Girl in attack mode!" Sweetie Belle said causing the female magician to appear and give the spoil prince a small wink. While her attack went up to 2400.
"You see your field card raising all dark types by four hundred attack power and my Dark Magician Girl happens to be one" Sweetie Belle explain
"Yep o' do" The Dark Magician Girl said happily.
"Destroy his Sangan"

"My move and I active my Swords of Revealing Light to block your attacks for three turns. Also one monster in defense mode" Blueblood said
"Fine I will just place one monster face down and set one card" Sweetie Belle said, finishing her move.
"I summon my Beiige, Vanguard of Dark World in attack mode. Your move, my dear" Blueblood said causing Sweetie to push her teeth together.
"I pass" Sweetie Belle said causing Blueblood to smile.
"I sacrifice all three of my monsters!" Blueblood cried out
"What? You can't have a- it impossible!" Sweetie Belle yelled
"Come to the battle all powerful. Obelisk The Tormentor"
A giant blue giant rise to stand behind Blueblood, now covering the battlefield with it shadow. The beast let out a cold and icy breath with it attack and defense power at four thousand.
"Obelisk, destroy her weak Dark Magician Girl!" Blueblood ordered
Sweetie Belle: 4000 - 2400
"I place my Winged Dragon Guardian of the Fortress in face up defense mode. Then put the magic card Mist Body so he cannot be destroy in battle" Sweetie Belle said, before she ended her turn.
"Fine I place one monster in defense mode, now Obelisk destroy her face down monster!" Blueblood ordered. Soon seeing it is her Bug.
"To bad, so sad. Your face down monster is destroyed" Sweetie Belle sang.
"Then make your move"
Sweetie Belle drawed her next card and smile.

"I active my Black Luster Ritual, getting rid of one eight star monster to summon my loyal Black Luster Soldier." Sweetie Belle said, Blueblood's eyes widen in shock.
"Where did you get a card like that? Wait never mind, next turn it going to the graveyard" Blueblood said with a proud smile.
"Well I won't say next turn. I active Ego Boost letting my Black Luster Solider be at four thousand attack points" Sweetie Belle said, causing Blueblood smile to drop.
"I understand. It must be done" The Black Luster Solider said
"Right destroy Obelisk The Tormentor!" Sweetie Belle finished with the female warrior cutting the God in half but getting destroy as well.
"My Equestrian God?! You destroyed it! You will pay for that, I place one monster in defense mode and set one card" Blueblood said, finally getting over the shock.
"My move Blueblood and I'm ending things off. I activate Monster Reborn to bring back the Black Luster Solider and then switch my dragon in attack mode. Winged Dragon destroy his face down!"
The small blue dragon open it mouth and fired a fireball destroying Blueblood's defense.
"Now Black Luster Solider finish him off" Sweetie Belle said, causing the soldier to hit the spoil prince.

"This has been fun but it time we end this I summon to the field Exodia. Having all five pieces" a large stone stone monster with chain on it strong legs and arms.
It powered up a blast with it two hands blasting all of Celestia life points away. Master Chase walked to his throne with a smile.
"Once the princess and prince fall the Age of Shadows will begin. So let's begin" Master Chase said
Blueblood lay on the ground in defeat. Just unable to believe it, he lost. Again.
"How? How could I lose again?" He question, looking up to see Sweetie holding her hoof out.
"I get you Blueblood, everypony else was just jealous on you being a prince but Celestia paid no mind to you. If you don't mind, I'll like to help you with that problem" Sweetie Belle said
"R-really? After everything I put you though?"
"The past is the past. Life and forgot or you'll never move on" Sweetie Belle said
"You got any more quotes in here" Blueblood joked getting up.
"Maybe give me sometime" Sweetie replied.
"Well you won, you earn the last Equestrian God" Blueblood said, giving Sweetie Belle the God card.

Sweetie Belle, Blueblood and Sweetie's friends looked at a large stone castle rising from the ground. The ponies in Ponyville looked in confusion, with they small town getting covered by the shadow of the castle.
A dark light rose from the castle, hitting the blue sky turn it as dark as a shadow. With it spreading across the land of Equestria with each pony, zebra, griffon couldn't believe they eyes at what is happening.
But to Sweetie Belle it meant one thing.
"Master Chase" she said, causing Apple Bloom to look at her.
"Ya sure?" Apple Bloom question, before Sweetie Belle ran away from the challenge.
Blueblood step forward when Apple Bloom held out her hoof to stop him.
"She needs to do this by herself" Apple Bloom said
Sweetie jumped on the bed her head in her pillow.
"I can't. I'm not ready. He will win and this Age of Shadows will last forever" Sweetie Belle said to herself.

Seeing her cards on the floor that she didn't even know that she threw.
"We're by your side no matter how hard the challenge is" her Black Luster Solider said.
"You need to save Scootaloo and those Film Flam brothers. With us behind you back" her Dark Magician said, with Sweetie looking at her new Equestrian Gods.
"Annoy them, they don't like talking" her Dark Magician Girl stated
"Are you three with me? I want you be on my side, I would like to have you as friends then just cards" Sweetie Belle question.
"I am, you was able to defeat Silfer and Obelisk and read me" Ra said
"It looks like you need the help, as much I don't like children tea parties this maybe fun" Silfer said
"I get to destroy a evil master, count me in!" Obelisk said, with Sweetie nodding with a smile.
The young put on her duel disk, placing her deck in the deck slot. Smiling, looking into the mirror she nodded at her ready for battle.
"Rarity I'm off to save the world by playing a children trading card game!" Sweetie Belle yelled when she got close to the front door.
"Be back before dinner!" Rarity called back
"Okay, love ya" Sweetie Belle said before leaving.
Even without her friends by her side, she somehow knew that they somehow got her back. With the young filly standing outside the giant stone gates that slowly open.
Sweetie Belle walked though the empty halls, walking on the red carpet with torches lighting the way. unreadable words lay on the walls.
It was truly a site to see, the grand castle roof miles above her. Sweetie felt like an ant in the large room, it was quite over whelming. To say the less.
"Well, well, well. Look what the cat drag in" Amber said standing in front of the door leading to the throne room.
"Remember us?" Knuckles question, standing next to her.
"Amber and Knuckles it about time you two did something!" Sweetie Belle cried out
"Yes I think so too, Master Chase trust us to destroy you" Amber stated
"Wait, we can't duel it will be unfair two against one!" Sweetie Belle said, causing Knuckles to laugh.
"We don't play fair" Knuckles said
"Then it a good thing, she's not dueling alone" a voice said with the three seeing Blueblood walking to stand next to Sweetie.
"Blueblood, how did you get in?" Sweetie Belle wondered
"Simple. I just follow you, now let show these two the place they belong" Blueblood said, powering up his duel disk with Sweetie doing the same.
Amber and Knuckles powered up theirs with two large green circles, Amber one locking with Sweetie Belle. While Knuckles locked with Blueblood.

"I'll start by activating my magic card Dark World Dealings each player has to draw a card and discard a card. Now come back my Silva, Warlord of The Dark World and I end my placing one card face down and another in face down defense"
"Then I guess I'll go and I summon my Fire Princess in attack mode" Amber said causing a lady with gray hair wearing a orange dress to the field.
"Next, I'll set one card and end my turn" Amber ended.
"My move and I active Rain of Mercy"

"Next I active my Monster Reborn to bring back my Dark Magician in attack mode and place two card face down and end my turn" Sweetie Belle said making Knuckles draw.
"I will not fail you lady Sweetie Belle" The Dark Magician said when it returned to the field.
"My move then, I active my magic card The A. Forces. Making all warriors and spell casters Amber and I control gain two hundred attack. Then I'll set one card and end" Knuckles said leaving himself open.
"My move now then I set one card and summon my Card Guard in attack mode. With him, he gains three hundred attack" Blueblood said causing Knuckles to raise his eyebrow.
"Now Sillva, attack Knuckles!" Blueblood ordered
"You active my trap card A Hero Emerges. Now you have to choose one card from my hoof for me to summon" Knuckles explain.
"Your far left card" Blueblood chose
"Good pick. For me, I summon my Bluster Blader in attack mode" Knuckles said causing a knight with a giant sword, wearing purple armor and attack power at 2800.
Blueblood: 4500 - 4000
"Let me show them what they should fear Knuckles. I summon my Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV4" Amber said summoning a metal bird to the field.
"My move now. I active my Burden of The Mighty. Lowing your monsters attack by one hundred for each star" Sweetie Belle said
Knuckles watched his Buster Blader 2800 attack go to 2100. While Amber watched her Fire Princess attack go to 900 and her Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV4. Go to 1200.
"Now Dark Magicain destroy Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV4" Sweetie Belle said destroy Amber's bird.
Amber: 5000 - 3700
"Why thank you Sweetie Belle. Because you destroyed Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV4. I can now summon my Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6" Amber said with a smile.
A larger metal bird replaced the smaller one staying at it 2300 attack power.
"Wait shouldn't it attack gone down?" Sweetie Belle question
"Well Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6 isn't effected by magic cards" Amber stated
"Fine I end my turn with one monster face down"
"Don't worry Sweetie Belle. I'll show these two a thing or two" Blueblood said.
"I active my magic card Gateway to Dark World to summon my Sillva, Warlord of Dark World. Now he wants a rematch, destroy the Buster Blader!" Blueblood said, causing Knuckles solider to fall.
Knuckles: 5000 - 4700
"I guess I have to do everything you moron. First my Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6 gets destroyed to summon my Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8." Amber said, causing a giant metal bird to the field with it 3000 attack power.
"First I will active my dragon effect yo get rid of that annoying magic card" Amber said causing her dragon shooting black fire destroying Sweetie Belle's magic card.
"I then I active my magic card Hammer Shot. This let's me destroy the strongest monster, so say goodbye to your Dark Magician"
Sweetie Belle watched her Dark Magician get hit by a giant wooden hammer.
"I'm sorry that I fail you" Dark Magician before he got destroyed.
"I finish" Amber stated
"I active my magic card Change of Hearts to get your Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8. Now I sacrifice my two monsters to summon my friend Scootaloo's best monster. I call forth The Blue Eyes White Dragon!"
"What?" Blueblood question
"Alright Blue Eyes these are the ponies that hurt Scootaloo. Destroy Amber's Fire Princess, white lightning attack!"

"My move then" Knuckles said drawing his next card. His eyes drifted to Amber.
"I active my Black Luster Ritual to summon my Black Luster Solider in attack mode"
"You finally did something right for a change. Looks like your not completely brain dead" Amber said causing Knuckles anger to grow.
"What?!" Amber yelled just before the Black Luster Solider attack her.
Amber: 2100 - 0
Amber eyes colour grew gray before she fell to the ground.
"My move now and I set one card and place one monster face down. Your move Sweetie" Blueblood said.
Sweetie shock her head, moving her eyes away from Amber soulless body "You shouldn't have done that! I active my Black Luster Ritual and use Blueblood's monsters to summon the Black Luster Soldier in attack mode!"
"Well it seems you got my name right" The Black Luster Soldier said causing Sweetie to roll her eyes.
"Destroy Knuckles, Black Luster Soldier" Sweetie Belle said, causing both the Black Luster Soldiers to fight and get destroyed.
"Now Blue Eyes, attack Knuckles"
The blue eye dragon fired lightning at the stallion. Knocking him back.

"I summon my Dark Blade in attack mode now attack Blueblood's face down"
A large steel monster rose to the field with 2100 defense.

Amber and Knuckles lay soulless on the ground. All colour lost in their eyes.
"Blueblood, get them out of here. I can face Chase by my self" Sweetie Belle said.
"Right" Blueblood said with a nodded.
Sweetie Belle entered the door to the throne room.
"Chase!" She called out
"Sweetie Belle, I been looking forward to this. You and me, the final battle. Welcome to my realm, the Shadow Realm" Master Chase said, laughing a evil laugh.
Rain pour down heavily with the booming sound of thunder in the skies. Lightning struck the ground with a loud roar.
A small colt jumped in fear, but stayed under the roof he had reached just when the storm took hold. With a short blue mane and gray coat the thunder and lightning scared the young unicorn into hiding.
He just sat and watched the rain fall and hit the ground, while he held his back legs with his front ones, hugging himself for warmth and safety.
A loud creaking noise could be heard as the young colt stared at the ground beside a door that is now open and emitting a warm glow. A mare looked at him with a kind smile with her green coat and white mane.
"Oh, you dear child. Please, follow me.” the mare said with the colt silently following her into the ground.
Torches hung on the stone wall depicting a strange language. That the young child couldn't read.
He sat down on the uncomfortable bed, but he still smiled.
"What's your name young one?" The mare questioned him.
The colt closed his eyes in shame and turn away from the mare.
"Vow of silence, hurt by ones close to you. Wish to not remember the name that brought you shame, Chase." the mare said causing the colt to look at her.
"Your new name can be Chase, suits you well, don't you think?" She question causing Chase to nod with a genuine smile.
"Fantastic, now for that talking. I'd love to hear your lovely voice. Wait. Sorry but I haven't told you my name as of yet. I am Shady Daze, glad to meet you.” the mare said bowing her head with Chase doing the same.
Shady Daze smiled at Chase with him looking at the walls that just read: "¥₹៛₪ฯ €μ€§₹ ¥¤₪฿§¥£$ ¥¡¿§¥£. ₹៛¥£¤₪, £¥€$៛¤ฯ฿."
"Where there is darkness, there is light. Where there is hope, there is also pain. Yin and Yang, fighting ever for control. Not knowing that they bring harmony to the land in their struggle for dominance." Shady explained.
"Who is this brat!" A loud booming voice demanded.
Chase's red eyes looked at the red Earth pony stallion his eyes flare with rage. His dark as night mane didn't improve his appearance made ugly by the expression his muzzle bore. He was staring at Chase, watching, waiting for a move. Any move.
"Stop it!" Shady yelled before the stallion slapped her across the face.
Chase stood still, frozen in fear looking at the kind mare lying on the ground in pain.
"I guess, you can be the one." the stallion said.
"Call me either Sir or Mister. Nothing else" he said, before walking back into the shadows.
Chase ran up to Shady to try and get her back on her hooves.
"I'm fine, his real name is Ginzo, but just call him Sir." Shady said to the young colt.
She noticed the young unicorn worried look, causing her to mess up his mane.
"Don't be down, if you're down you'll never be high in the sky. Where everypony can see your greatness." Shady said, giving him a kiss on the forehead.
Chase let out a smile to her, with Shady showing him where he would be sleeping. A stone bed with a single blanket and pillow.
"I know it not much..." Shady started.
"It’s perfect." Chase whispered causing Shady to smile.
"Well, get some rest you've got a big day tomorrow!" Shady Daze said, with Chase entering the room.
The young colt ran to his bed, just to trip on some piles of stone that lay on the floor. With a stonecutter axe on a small table.
Chase looked at them, the stone pieces wasn't that big around the size of a card of sorts. He had trouble lifting the bricks to his bed but in little time was able to move at least three before getting too tired to move more.
He picked up the small stone cutter, holding it in his right hoof. Getting the right stone brick he wrote "Silfer The Sky Dragon" in the middle "Obelisk The Tormentor" and last "The Winged Dragon of Ra".
Chase let out a tired yawn, before he fell fast asleep with the stones, now sitting on the table. Sitting by the wall, next to Chase's bed as he slept throughout the night.
The sun shone high in the sky, warming up the cold air for a nice warm day in the summer. All the while, the small colt; Chase is still hard at work on those bricks.
When he wasn't helping Shady Daze who he now calls mother at times, or even working under the watchful eye of Sir Ginzo. Chase was hard at work on the bricks, creating a new game of sorts, until one faithful day.
"Chase darling" Shady called out, causing Chase to run out his room and stand tall for his new found mother.
"We have been invited to the grand castle, so as your father told me to tell you don't touch, look or even talk to anypony." Shady said, with Chase giving her a salute.
Shady gave Chase a small hug, with a warm smile before she kissed him on the forehead.
"Go and pack anything you want to bring. Meet us by the stairs in a few minutes." Shady said to the silent colt.
"Love you.” she said.
"Love you too.” Chase said, causing Shady to smile and leave.
Chase ran to get only one small brick to put in his bag. Before running to catch up with his new found mother and father.
It was a long and tiring walk but the small family made it to the castle in the Everfree Forest. Chase knew his underground home was a castle but nothing like this. This castle is a site to see with banners of the King and Queen and the newborn Princess and her older sister.
"Stay here" Ginzo ordered Chase, causing the colt to nodded.
Chase sat in boredom in the grand and large scale room, the whole place was great and beautiful.
"Hiya!” a high pitch voice said, sounding like a filly.
Chase fell back in surprise see this filly in front of him, with her white coat and beautiful Celestial mane flowing in the wind somehow. Chase didn't want to know, but the real draw was her small wings and horn.
"Oh, what do you have there!" The filly said looking at the brick.
"It just a game, I'm creating" Chase answered, wondering why he wants to share so much this is one filly?
"Ooh, what's it called?" She asked
"I haven't really thought of a name. I just like calling it Po-Gi-Oh." Chase answered
"I'm Chase."
"Oh! I never told you my name, daddy says I'm a bit of a silly head. The name's Celestia." Celestia said, giving Chase a welcoming hug causing him to get a bright red blush.
"Oh, you're blushing that is so cute!" Celestia said, after the hug ended, causing Chase to look away.
"There no reason you need to be shy. We can be friends! Maybe even best friends, mommy and daddy won't allow me to make any." Celestia said, lowering her head in a state of sadness.
Chase gave the filly a small and warm hug, causing Celestia eyes to widen in surprise.
"Thank you." she said, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
Chase broke the hug to grab the small brick giving it to Celestia.
"Keep it. To remember me by." Chase said, with Celestia looking at it with the word "Marshmallon" written on it.
"Thank you, this will forever be my favorite card. Because it was given to me by a dear friend"
"Celestia what do you think you are doing!?" A loud booming voice question.
Both Celestia and Chase stopped in surprise, with Chase trying to get a better look at the stallion. But he was standing in the darkness, making Chase unable to tell any details about this stallion.
"Daddy! He's just a friend!" Celestia said with Ginzo grabbing Chase by the ear.
"Ow!" Chase yelled out in pain with Ginzo dragging the young colt away and Shady bidding them a goodbye before leaving also.
Ginzo threw Chase on the ground, causing the colt to cry in pain.
"You were meant to not talk, look or touch anything" Ginzo said, in a voice that made Chase more terrified of him.
"Please Ginzo, he didn't do anything wrong!" Shady said, trying to calm her husband down.
"I know! But he's too careless, that's why I said to throw him back to the gutters where he belongs!" Ginzo said, which caused Chase to blink.
The young unicorn, didn't know why but it seems like they were just kept him around for something else.
"Why?" Chase managed to asked
"What, Chase?" Shady asked
"Why did you lie to me. Did you ever love me!" Chase said, in a sort of shout that made Shady step back in shock.
"Please Chase. I didn't lie to you. I could never lie to you. I love you like if your my own child but this is something important that I cannot tell you" Shady said, knee down to his level.
"She's right" Ginzo said, before Chase ran crying to his room.
"CHASE!!" Shady Daze yelled out, before she fell to the ground in pain.
"Shady, you need to be more careful. I don't want to lose you" Ginzo said, helping his wife to lay on a bed.
"But what about Chase?" She asked, her voice weak and barely hearable.
"Shh. You need your sleep. Chase will be fine, he just needs some alone time" Ginzo said to Shady combing her mane.
"Thank you, I love you Ginzo" Shady said to him.
"I love you too Shady" Ginzo said to her giving her a small kiss on the lips. Before he let her sleep.
Ginzo sighed, his eyes lowered to the ground. It was already to hard to believe but he just have to live with the truth and hopefully move on.
"Sweet dreams, I hope you're happy where you now are.” Ginzo said, before leaving the room leaving Shady to rest in peace.
Morning soon came, with Chase rubbing his eye before giving a huge yawn. The young unicorn step down to see his mother asleep.
"Hey mom. I'm sorry about yesterday" Chase said, which Shady didn't reply to.
Chase started to shake the mare to try and wake up, with tears falling from his eyes.
"Please, mom wake up. Why ain't you waking up!" Chase yelled, with Ginzo entering the room.
"She's not going to wake, not now, not ever." Ginzo said, causing Chase to begin crying more then he was before.
"No! No, no, no, please. I'm sorry, please wake up mommy. I'm sorry, please just wake up" Chase said, all while he shake her lifeless body, tears running out of the young colt eyes.
Ginzo step closer to Chase and pull him away from Shady Daze’s body. The young colt fell to ground, crying more than ever. The only one who ever cared for him was gone, forever. Never to come back to greet him with a warm hug and a kiss on the forehead.
It was all gone, forever. Never to come back Ginzo just looked at Chase broken down, unable to see the truth and move on. But he was just a child, he didn't know any better.
Seven Years Later...
The small colt of Chase is now a grown adult, a middle size unicorn with his cutie mark of assembled Po-Gi-Oh cards. Having created the game that is hitting Equestria like a storm.
Chase was worried about his little card game not doing too well, besides the first three cards he made. He title them The Equestrian Gods, only one of each god was made and Chase knew no pony could hold the power.
His father Ginzo passed away just a month ago, the old stallion tried to be a father but Ginzo was never the same after Shady Daze moved on.
Chase looked at Celestia that has been standing behind him for a quite awhile.
"Celestia, look I don't know how much time I have left!" Chase said to her running around and looking.
"What do you mean? What's going on?" Celestia asked him
"Take this card and say that you defeated me in a duel. Making you the Queen of Games." Chase said, giving Celestia, The Winged Dragon of Ra.
"I won't do that! I couldn't beat you in a duel. Stop this at once!" Celestia ordered
"Look Celestia. They got me, The Shadows, I don't how long I'll be me. You need to find a filly pure of heart. That makes the prince fall, a small unicorn- ow!" Chase yelled out, falling to the ground in pain.
"Chase!" Celestia cried out.
"Go!" Chase said while his coat and tail turn as black as the shadows.
"I can't take my mother’s passing anymore. The Shadows found that weakness. Now go, leave and don't come back!" Chase yelled causing Celestia to teleport out of the ruins.
"Ahhhh!" Chase yelled while the Shadows took control.
He open his eye and to look around the place. Breathing it in.
"Oh, I may not be able to leave but that weak name of Chase is too simple. I shall forever be known as Master Chase." Master Chase said, sitting on a throne laughing.

Sweetie Belle ran into Master Chase throne room, the dark unicorn sat on his large throne.
"Chase!" Sweetie Belle yelled with Master Chase getting off his throne.
"Sweetie Belle, I'm going to enjoy destroying you" Master Chase spoke
"And I'm going to enjoy beating you in a children trading card game. Making you not doing anything evil ever again" Sweetie Belle said causing the Master to laugh.
"Leave your duel disk. You won't need it in our duel"
"What do you mean?" Sweetie Belle question
"Because in this duel will be a Shadow Game!" Master Chase said, his horn lit up with the room cover in a dark shadow.
"Welcome to the Shadow Relem. Let duel"
Master Chase threw a card with it growing in size, it lying face down.
"Next I summon my Giant Orc in attack mode" The card disappear in a green smoke.
A large vision of the card appear on the field a large blue Orc arm grabbed the ground. It stood tall with strong arms a sort of large belly. Wearing green shorts, holding a white bone in it right arm.
It roared with it attack power at 2200.
"My turn now." Sweetie Belle draw and look through her hoof.
The Dark Magician. I knew I could trust you and everyone else in my deck Sweetie Belle thought, smiling
"I place one card face down and one monster in defense mode" Sweetie Belle said throwing the cards with them growing in size.
"Time to play this Shadow Game right. I summon my Dark Ruler Ha Des in attack mode!" Master Chase said with a different and stronger monster rise to the field.
"Giant Orc destroy her face down card" Master Chase ordered, with the Orc destroying Sweetie's Mystical Elf.
"Normally my Orc would change to defense mode but with my Dark Ruler Ha Des effect it cancelled other Friend type effects" Master Chase explain.
"Now Dark Ruler Ha Des attack her directly"
Sweetie Belle: 4000 - 1550
"If this keeps up I won't last much longer" Sweetie said.
Master Chase: 4000
Sweetie Belle: 1550
"I place another card and put a monster in defense mode. Then active my trap card Burden of the Mighty" Sweetie Belle said with a wooden wall rose around her cards.
"That won't save you. I summon Jinzo in attack mode"
Master Chase saw his monsters attack Dark Ruler Ha Des at 1850, his Giant Orc at 1800 and his Jinzo at 1800.
"Your end is now. Your traps can't save you because of Jinzo now Jinzo destroy her face down card" Master Chase ordered.
Sweetie Belle couldn't look, with one of her cards disappear in a green smoke. Sweetie open her eyes to see Jinzo getting destroyed.
The Dark Magician stood, spinning his green staff before placing it on the ground.
"This is a Shadow Game, Lady Sweetie Belle. There is no rules in this game" Dark Magician said.
Master Chase: 4000 - 3300
"Well Chase it looks like I'm now playing this game right" Sweetie Belle said with a smile.
"Fine then I summon my Blue Eyes White Dragon in attack mode and then active Mystical Space Tyhoon to get your magic card"
"Now Blue Eyes attack her Dark Magician"
"I active my trap card Mirror Force" Sweetie said with a mirror stopping Blue Eyes attack and destroying Master Chase cards.
"My move I summon Giant Rat and now I sacrifice all three if my cards to summon my Equestrian God. The all powerful Obelisk The Tormentor" Sweetie Belle said
The strong giant rose to the field with Master Chase looking at it in surprise.
"Wait. How about we play a different game? Like rock, play, scissors?" Master Chase question
"Okay Chase I pick rock, what did you pick Chase?" Sweetie Belle asked
"Umm..." Master Chase said before Obelisk punched Master Chase across the room.
"Sorry rock beats 'umm'" Sweetie Belle said with Master Chase laughing.
"I active my trap card. If you attack me with a monster with four thousand or more attack. I get life points besides losing them" Master Chase explain.
Master Chase: 3300 - 7300
"By four thousand. It also let me summon five monster but only if it has a thousand attack or less" Master Chase said
"So I summon Head of Exodia, Left Arm of Exodia, Right Arm of Exodia, Left Leg of Exodia, Right Leg of Exodia. With all five piece's of Exodia I can summon the all powerful Exodia"
The arms and head floated in the sky joining together to form Exodia, standing behind Master Chase.
"Exodia obliterate!"
"Obelisk fist of faith"
The two giant attack clash together with a explosion in an attack with Sweetie Belle and Master Chase blockimg their eyes from the attack.
The clash ended with both falling to the ground in defeat.
"What?" Master Chase question
"I used Obelisk effect, by getting rid of two monster it attack grow to the same as Exodia. Thus ending in a tie" Sweetie Belle explain.
Master Chase: 7300
Sweetie Belle: 1550
Sweetie Belle cried out with her falling to the ground, losing all her strength.
"Good, the Shadows are weakening you. Give up let the Shadows take over. Search your heart and you'll find only darkness. Shadows take her!" Master Chase ordered
Sweetie Belle couldn't move, closing her eyes. Giving up on the fight. Tears falling to the ground.
I failed Sweetie Belle thought
She felt the Shadows just feeling it all of it useless. The darkness surround her, her eyes widen.
When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you. 'Til it seems as though you could not hang on a minute longer. Never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn. Those words went through Sweetie Belle's head.
"No!" Sweetie cried out, standing up.
"What how are you fighting the power of the Shadows?!" Master Chase question
"You said that if I gaze in my heart I see only darkness. But you are wrong!" Sweetie Belle explain to him.
"Then you're gazing in the wrong place!" Master Chase yelled at him.
"Says you Chase. I get my power from my friends this duel isn't over"
"I active Rain of Mercy"
Sweetie Belle: 1550 - 2550
Master Chase: 7300 - 8300
Sweetie looked through her five cards and smiled.
"I summon my next Equestrian God, Silfer The Sky Dragon. Because this is a Shadow Game I can summon him with out getting rid of monsters" Sweetie Belle said.
"I active my magic card. This let me, get rid of two monsters to summon a fusion. Come out Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon"
"Now are monster have to battle but both have to get destroyed"
Sweetie Belle: 2550 - 2050
Why is his trap card he used when Obelisk attack is activated? Wait I seen that card before if I get three monsters in my graveyard that is able to gain four thousand or more attack. I get summon them Sweetie Belle thought
If only I can get Winged Dragon of Ra in my graveyard. Then I'll have won this Shadow Game
"My move, now I summon Blowback Dragon"
"Destroy her!"
"I active my trap Waboku, causing the damage to go to zero" Sweetie explain
"Yes I know what all the cards do. I created this game, you'll never defeat me in Po-Gi-Oh I'm the King of Games" Master Chase explained.
"Wow, I think that's the first time somepony called this game Po-Gi-Oh!" Sweetie Belle said in shock and surprise.
"Well it time we end this. I active my Monster Reborn to bring back my Dark Magician in attack mode."
"Next I'll sacrifice two monsters from my hoof, Hayabusa Knight and Winged Dragon, Guardian of the Fortress to summon The Winged Dragon of Ra!" Sweetie cried out
Two cards disappear in a green smoke with the last Equestrian God appearing on the field in a loud roar.
"Ra destroy Blowback Dragon then Dark Magician destroy The Winged Dragon of Ra" Sweetie said, causing her Dark Magician to pause for a moment.
All while The Winged Dragon of Ra, destroyed Blowback Dragon.
Master Chase: 8300 - 7800
"Now that I have won. You see your trap if I get three monsters in my graveyard that can gain over four thousand attack as long I destroy one monster on my field"
Her Dark Magician nodded disappearing back to her graveyard.
"Now I call forth the three Equestrian Gods by to the field. Silfer The Sky Dragon, Obelisk The Tormentor and The Winged Dragon of Ra!" Sweetie cried out.
The long red dragon, ruler of the skies roared with one of it two mouths have 4,000 attack power. The blue giant smash it fist on the ground causing the ground to shake having 4,000 attack power. Last the golden dragon broke out of it golden ball to look at Master Chase with anger in it eyes with 4,000 attack.
"Thanks to your trap card. I'm able to have another battle phase"
"But-" Master Chase started
"Silfer, Obelisk, and Ra end this duel. Join you attack together to end this Shadow Game!" Sweetie Belle said, with Master Chase closing his eyes waiting for the attack.
Silfer open it mouth to fire a blue beam at him, with Obelisk hitting him with with it powerful fist and last Ra firing at him with it fire.
Master Chase: 7800 - 0
His coat turn back to gray and his mane back to blue with Chase falling to the ground and The Shadows leaving.
The castle started to shake with Sweetie running over to Chase.
"Get up" Sweetie cried out trying to lift him up with no luck.
"The whole castle is getting destroyed. I'm not leaving without you!" Sweetie said before she saw a large bolder began to fall to them.
Sweetie Belle closed her eyes, not wanting to see it end.
The Castle of Shadows fell to the ground in now a pile for giant stones left to stay. All while the ponies from afar watched it fall with Celestia waking up and teleported over there.
"Sweetie Belle!" Apple Bloom cried out
"I fear she didn't make it out" Celestia said to them, landing on the ground.
"Is there any hopes that-?" Twilight asked, looking at her former teacher.
"No, at her age she wouldn't be able to even teleport out" Celestia explain.
"Oh, Rarity is gonna..." Twilight said, just before getting cut off.
The bright colours lit the sky a blue, yellow and red with those three colours forming an circle and spreading across the land of Equestria.
The ponies watching; Blueblood, Apple Bloom, Twilight, Celestia and a now waking Amber and Knuckles. Watched most of the stones start lifting into the night sky.
The form of all three Equestrian Gods appeared placing two objects on the ground before disappearing in a flash of light.
The ponies blinked on wonder seeing both Sweetie Belle and some other unicorn alright.
"Sweetie Belle!" Apple Bloom cried out, hugging her tired friend.
"I feel like I woke up too early on Monday" Sweetie Belle stated
"Here let me help you, Chase" Celestia said, giving him a friendly hoof.
"Really? After everything I did to you. I took your soul!" Chase said, looking at the princess of the sun in shock.
"You wasn't Chase. You are now" Celestia said causing him to smile and grab her hoof.
"What are we going to do about the castle?" Blueblood asked
"Ehh, it be gone after the cut" Sweetie said with a shrug.
"What c-"
The sun shined high in the sky the next morning with The Castle Of Shadows left in ruins and all piece's gone forever.
A pair of pegasi stood with a golden chariot waiting for their princess to bored.
"Well this where Chase, Blueblood and I take our leave" Celestia said to them.
Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom, a now awake Scootaloo, with Twilight and the rest of her friends.
"Sweetie Belle, I thank you once again getting rid of my evil side" Chase said bowing in front of her.
"You have defeated me, so you shall be know forth as The Queen of Games"
"Oh, does that even count?" Sweetie Belle asked
"Oh cares!" Scootaloo cried out. "You're the Queen of Games!"
"Oh yeah" Sweetie Belle said digging through her deck. Getting out the three Equestrian Gods.
"These belong to you" Sweetie Belle said holding the three Gods with her magic.
Chase let out a small laugh.
"Keep them, you earn those cards. I'm sure that they don't mind you" Chase said, making Sweetie smile looking at her cards with them giving a wink at her.
The group fell silent not knowing how to end the conversation. Until a bright light appear in the sky.
A draconquus appear in the sky in a flash, floating on the sky.
"Remember reality is an illusion the universe hologram to buy gold, bye!" Discord said before he teleport away.
"Well we better get to Canterlot to see if Discord hasn't done anything" Celestia said, bidding them all a goodbye with her Chase and Blueblood on their way home.
"Well, all well that ends well" Scootaloo said, just noting Apple Bloom glare.
"Scoots ya had ya soul taken away!" Apple Bloom said, causing Scootaloo to shrug.
"Eh. I got better" Scootaloo said causing Sweetie to sigh.
"I'm tired, later girls I'm going home" Sweetie Belle said, walking away from her two friends.
Sweetie Belle slept with a smile on her face. With her deck sitting on her bedside table, waiting for it next duel.
