Sweetie Belle; a young unicorn filly who doesn't really care about the new card game in Equestria. Duel Monsters, unlike her friends Scootaloo and Apple Bloom who want her to join in the fun.
But is soon forced to battle to save her sister while a group of ponies hiding in the shadows try to take over the Equestria and bring a new age of terror to ponies and creatures of all kinds.
(This story is a re-write of my story with is deleted which was called Po-Gi-Oh Season One)

There are Four things that interest me in a Story Mr.Phoenix. Cover, Polt, Word count, and a creature's strong courage and will to make a story they have had in their far mind come true. The Cover and you're far mind are the ones that drew me to this story. What interested me the most was the long forgotten show of Yu-Gi-Yo with the mixture and crossover of My little pony. I plan to watch carefully over the next chapter. I see great potential. But of course... I do see many things wrong...
The plot is somewhat of a cliche and overused. An antagonist comes to bring hardship to you if you were not to do something they request, they are dark with mystical powers, and are evil. The spelling could use work and polishing. An editor would help greatly. And lastly. The description is not enough.
The reason I stay in watch is for the reason of your imaginative mind. I may see this one day featured on the front page if this story were polished more and kept under great condition. I wish you luck on your story and your writing. I also apologise in advance if you may not understand my words, it is late in the night and I am working on a project. As is, I wish you luck friend.

6767448 It was because the old one Po-Gi-Oh Season One was too much like the show Yu-Gi-Oh it wasn't good and that's why it got deleted. That why this reboot is up to fix and make the first one in the story what it could have been.

There... There are so many things wrong with this duel, I do not know where to begin....
The cards have names for a reason. It should not matter if she's a beginner, you use the name of the card.
Part of making a good story is making the story believable. No duelist in their right mind wouldn't attack. They would probably switch Giant Rat to defense mode to avoid a total Mirror Force devastation, but just not attacking at all? That's just dumb, but you need Sweetie Belle to be the best duelist, so that somehow translates into untouched life points her second duel. Yusei, Yugi, Yuma, Yuya, and Jaden were the 'best' duelists... they all lost life points their second duel. Hell, Yuma and Yuya lost their second duel.
Why did she lose 500 LP? Oh, it's an effect.... You need to tell us this. Have Sweetie Belle pontificate if need be, but tell us that an effect is being used.
I truly believe you left out something because Apple Bloom seems to go twice. Did you mean to explain that she switched to the Main Phase 2?
The trap card was called what and did what? Again, you should have told us what the card was along with what it did. For all I know she used Negate Attack, or Mirror Mail.
No, Apple Bloom, Xyz energy requires an Xyz MATERIAL or as it's more commonly know, an Overlay Unit, not the monster itself. You should know this if you are writing about the cards. I can't even compare this with a ruling issue because Xyz Material and monster are two radically different things.
6829345 Umm... There shouldn't be because I play out every duel in this story so far, reading what the card does and what to do and not to do. XYZ Energy gets rid of your XYZ monster and place the old monsters that made it and destroy one card on the other side of the field. I spend at less an hour or two on these duels so I'm sure that there is nothing wrong plus it more just an duel for fun then like Sweetie Belle duel with Blueblood and Film and Flam

...Nope! Sorry, I really tried not to get picky with the rulings but this really, REALLY needs some-one to look over it who actually knows the RULES to Yugioh! Yo can't even use the 'Anime was always bullshit' argument because, even in the anime's world, these characters decisions and the card just makes no sense!
Slifer's effect doesn't target face-down monsters! He's not unaffected by spells and traps, he can't be targetted by them. Burden of the Mighty doesn't target. HONEST DOESN'T BRING MONSTERS BACK FROM THE GRAVEYARD!!!!!!!!!!!! He has a kick-ass ability and you down-right dis-respected him. You had one duel start with 2000 LP and another that started with 4000 LP in the same chapter! Why did Applebloom not hit her directly in the third chapter?! Gates of the Dark-World in the first chapter only boosts fiends by 300 ATK (Avid Dark-World player, here)!
You gave us links to a lot of these cards in the chapter segways! Was that just so we can get annoyed when you don't use their actual effects?!
I tried, really damn hard, to find something I liked here! But I can't! It doesn't make any sense how Sweetie Belle is this good! (Other than the fact that everypony else duels like some-sort of drunk monkey!) And I don't understand what format the duels are supposed to be in! Is it from gen-5? Zexal? You have Xyz monsters, but they only seem to be a factor in AB's deck!
I'm sorry, I really am, but I think you need to go through some sort of duelling tutorial and maybe look up rulings. If you're not an avid duellist, then you kinda need to put in a little more research (Or any research) into what would work and what wouldn't. Yugioh Wikia is really good for that. While writing my Yugioh/MLP cross-over, it was a really big help because I had mis-interpretted a lot of rulings and card effects when it came to cards I'm not too familiar.
But, unless the duels in this story are clean up a little, then I just can't read futher. I don't want to get even more angry. I don't mean to offend anyone, but I'm not sure I could get accross what I wanted to without it.

The problem what I had writing this is well one I didn't really know what Honest did when writing this and I have to make something up just so Sweetie Belle could win against Slifer and his effect, I was just remembering what the show did and the gods cards don't show the effect. Plus this duel was really hard to write and make up since I have to look up Twilight's cards on google since I play out every duel there is on this story. But that fine if you don't like it. Not everyone will, but thanks for trying to read it.
Interesting concept of combining Yugioh and MLP. There are problems though.
Sweetie Belle's reasons for not liking the game are a little rushed.
The Rarity gets kidnapped by Prince Blueblood is completely ridiculous especially the note left behind.

that isn't right the effect is if horus the black flame dragon lv4 destroys a monster in battle the lv6 horus can be sunnoned not when he gets destroyed
the same conditions are for horus the black flame dragon lv6 he also needs to destroy a monster to "level up"
also horus the black flame dragon doesn't destroy magic cards he prevents them from being activated in the first place cards already on the field will not be affected by that
