when a man and his wife get lost in the woods, they need each other to survive in this strange new world

I just wanted a hunting trip, with just my wife and my dog, but we became lost in the woods and ended up somewhere. Becoming slaves that were mining gems for diamond dogs. For the past two hours, I've been in the mine. I took over... I mean we took it over. Now, we are the ruler of this place. That means everyone under our rule must be protected. That means killing anything that gets in our way of protecting my future children, loved ones and my citizens. To live, to survive, to thrive.

chapter 1

‘‘Come on Tom, hurry up, You are taking too long!’’ My wife said impatiently as she wait for me to get out of the closet.

‘‘you too impatient Maria.’’ I said as I grab our rifles. ‘‘I'm just getting the rifles.’’ I said as I look around the small confined space to find out if we didn't miss anything. Where the bullet. ‘‘Maria! Did you get the cartridge box?’’ I asked with worried tone. Hopefully we didn't lose it.

‘‘Yes I did and I also got the cans food for the trip!.’’ she said.

What a relief. I thought as I got out of the closet. Where is she. I thought as I scan the room but she isn't here. ‘‘Maria! where are you.’’

‘‘I'm In the kitchen.’’ oh
‘‘And also, did you you turn off the TV? because I'm pretty sure it's on.’’ Maria said from kitchen.

I took over to where the TV is. It was showing the candidates for the debate. Ooh, I remember, the debate.

*These candidates, who you think is going to win the presidency, tune in next time when the the US election well be happ-*
I turn it off before he can finish and I got out of the room and proceeded to walk down the hall to the front door and there was Maria standing next to the door.

‘‘Tom, are you ready to go?’’ Maria ask while grabbing her raincoat and putting it on.

‘‘No, just a few more things.’’

‘‘Ok, I will be waiting outside, just don't forget to lock the doors when you leave the house.’’ Maria ordered as she open the door and went out.

‘‘Okay.’’ I should bring the nine milimeter pistol because I've seen the wrong turn movies and I going into the woods. I thought to myself.

I went to the safe behind the couch and I proceeded to put in the code. One... Nine... eight... seven... *Click!* The safe opened and I grab the gun and put it in my pocket. Hopefully Maria won't notice. I thought.

I went to the door and proceeded to go outside. I closed and locked the door behind me. I look up to the sky to see It was a bright, sunny day on a Saturday afternoon. When I was finished looking at the sky I went over to our car where Maria was.

‘‘Tom, do you have everything?’’ she asked me.

‘‘Yes Maria, and also the dog food.’’ *Maria look satisfied* ‘‘Now, where is that troublemaker?’’ I asked.

‘‘She's in the back.’’ Maria answered as she gets in the car.

‘‘Good ’’ I got in the car and started it up and drove out of the driveway and into the Road. I looked at my wife. ‘‘you look pretty as ever.’’

‘‘You've been saying that for the past five years since we've been married.’’ She said to me.

‘‘But you are, you're the most beautiful woman I ever met, and today is our anniversary, do you still remember the song that played during our first date.’’ I ask to her while having a fond memory.

‘‘Tom, how could I forget ‘I can't decide whether you should live or die’ it probably one of your best songs. She stated with a happy tone.

‘‘Wasn't it pretty funny at our wedding that you played viva la vida, remember your father was singing ‘I hear Jerusalem bells are ringing’ while being drunk on top of the church, it took hours to get him down.’’ we both started laughing at my comment.

‘‘At least it was a great wedding except my dad on the church roof.’’
Maria said with happiness.

‘‘I love you Maria.’’ I said with a serious Voice.

‘‘Aww! I love you.’’ She said.

I looked out of the window and spotted couple of cows at the nearby farms.

‘‘So Maria, what did you do today?’’ I asked.

‘‘Well... I went to the hospital for a check up and the doctor told me that... That…. That I am pregnant!’’ Maria said me with a cheerful voice.

‘‘What?’’ I stopped the car as a sense of shock and happiness swelled within me all at once. ‘‘Are you lying?’’ I asked.

‘‘No, I'm serious. I'm pregnant.’’ She said with a serious look.

‘‘I'm going to be a father!’’ I said as my heart jumped with joy. ‘‘How old is the baby?’’I asked eagerly.

‘‘Not a baby, But the babies, we are going to have triplets.’’ She answered with a smile.

"That's gonna be a lot of diapers.’’ *chuckle* ‘‘how old are they." I asked again.

‘‘A month and a week old.’’ Maria answered.

‘‘And it took the doctor that long to notice, that is stupid.’’ I said.

‘‘I don't know... But look, Tom, we're here.’’ She pointed out.

I look around. it is the place.

‘‘Hmm... Doesn't look like a lot of people are here.’’ I said as I looked around to see there are not too many car.
We drive around a little bit until we found a parking space and we parked the car and we got out.

‘‘It a lovely time to hunt some deer.’’ Maria stated to me as she grabbed the hunting rifles and opened the door for our dog. ‘‘Rex come out.’’ Maria ordered.
Rex comes out of the car and started wagging her tail.

‘‘Who's a good girl.’’ I said to my dog as I rubs the top of her head. She started licking my hand. ‘‘Come on Rex, let's go.‘‘ I said. We started walking down a dirt pathway. Which was in covered with weeds and bushes.

I look up to the sky. Ahh, Come on it's cloudy.

‘‘So... what did you do today, Tom?’’ Maria asked with curiosity.

‘‘Well... I helped my coworker build an auto turret. It shoots 15 rounds per second and it has a sniper mode.’’ I said as I looked at the ground and noticed some deer tracks.

‘‘How accurate is it?’’ Maria asked as she followed the deer tracks.

‘‘When it shoots 15 rounds per second is kind of inaccurate. But on sniper mode, it is super accurate. It shot over 2.0 miles!’’ I explained with pride.

‘‘That sounds great, why couldn't we use that for deer hunting?’’ Maria asked sarcastically.

*it starts to rain*

‘‘Well, it's for my company and technically I built half of the thing. But I know how to build the whole thing. Just the stuff, I would have to find.’’ I told her.

‘‘With your salary, I'm not surprised if you could find the items.’’ Maria told me as she rolls her eyes at me.

‘‘Trust me, Maria. They are hard to find in-.’’

*Snap!*

I looked up and spotted a deer in front of us. ‘‘Maria, give me my rifle.’’ I ordered her.

‘‘Here, Tom.’’ She gave me one of the rifles and kept the other one to herself.

‘‘Ok.’’ I pointed the rifle at the deer and held it steady.

*Then a flash of lightning and the sound of thunder* Scared the deer and it sprinted away.

‘‘Hurry! Chase it!’’ Maria yelled as she quickly chase the deer.

I quickly looked over at Rex and said. ‘‘Come on girl. Let's go.’’ I ran and soon caught up to Maria.

The deer front of us proceeded to jumped over a log and three of us jumped over it shortly after. Maria caught up to the deer near a ledge.
Maria almost got it but the deer turned left and she fell over the ledge.

‘‘Maria!’’ I screamed as I went over to the ledge where Maria fell down. ‘‘Maria, are you okay!’’ I look around and spotted her. She was laying on the ground.

Shortly she turned to look at me. ‘‘I'm OK, Tom. I think I bruised my knee.’’ She said as she got up.

I tried to give her a hand and she tried to to grab it.

‘‘Tom, I think the ledge is too high to reach you hand.’’ she said.

‘‘Wait a second , I'm coming down.’’ I told her as I slid down towards her while Rex followed closely behind. ‘‘Are you okay, honey?’’ I asked with worry.

‘‘Yes, I'm okay. Just a small bruise.’’ She said as she started to brush the dirt off of her. ‘‘I wonder how we get out of here?’’ She asked me as we observe the small cliff above us.

‘‘Is it just me or is it almost night time.’’

‘‘I notice it too Tom, and also everything looks more colorful.’’ Maria said as she touch a plant.

‘‘Maybe we should keep moving, I'm pretty sure there is a road on the other side of this forest.’’ I told her.

‘‘Then let's get moving.’’ Maria said.

We were walking for maybe, I don't know, 2 miles. I am tired, where's the other side of this forest.
Wait, what is that. I look in the far distance and realize it's a cave.

‘‘Hey, look a cave maybe we could have shelter there and be out of this rain.’’ I said with joy. Finally glad to see something other than trees, I thought.

‘‘But Tom, what about those big looking dogs?’’ She asked with concern in her voice.

I take a closer look at the cave and see the dogs are standing guard and wearing scrap of metal armor and wielding clubs.

‘‘Where are we, Maria? Why are dogs wearing armor?’’ I asked dumbfounded

‘‘I don't know, Tom. Maybe we-’’ Maria was cut off as something grabbed her while covering her mouth.

‘‘Maria!’’ I yelled. I pulled out my pistol and noticed it was one of dogs. I was able to fire until I was hit from behind with something. I fell to the ground as I dropped my pistol. It was another dog that snuck up behind me. I pulled out my knife and lunged at it. The dog backed away but I managed to leave a large gash on its right arm. The dog swung his club but I managed to dodged it. Two more dogs arrived at the scene and pointed their weapons at me.

I was about to attack again but a scream made me freeze, it was Maria and one of the dogs was holding a knife against her throat.

One wrong move and she wouldn't make it out of here alive, I thought.

‘‘You drop weapon! Now! or I kill!’’ The dog ordered stupidly.

I did what the dog said. I put my knife down on the ground, although, not before I slid my pocket knife under my foot within my shoe. ‘‘So now what?’’ I asked.
Then Something hit the back of my head and then I blacked out.

chapter 2

Pain, just pain, it isn't the worse I felt but it hurt a lot I thought.

“Tom...” A voice said.

Who is that, I thought.

“Tom” the voice said again.

I started to wake up and open my eyes, Maria was looking at me with tears in her eyes.

“Tom, are you okay?” Maria asked.

“Yeah I'm okay.” I said as I rubbed the back of my head. I looked around the room that we were being held in and found that we were in, what appeared to be, a super rusty jail cell. “This looks better than your father’s garage.” I told her.

“Tom, stop making jokes.” Maria told me.

“Okay, where is Rex?” I asked worried.

“She’s sleeping right there, so don't wake her up.” Maria said.

I looked at my dog, she was sleeping soundly. “So where are we?” I asked.

“All I know is that after you were knocked out, we were taken into this cave and got thrown into to this cell. If you look around there is a pony in the other cell.” Maria explained to me.

“Why are the dogs keeping a pony?” I asked.

“Because for slave labor to mine gems for them.” Someone said.

“Who said that?” I asked as I look at the other cells.

“I did.” A pony showed itself from the shadow of it cell. ‘‘My name is Mystic Falls so may I ask what are you?’’ Mystic Falls asked us.

“We are human and also what are You.” I answered.

“I'm a earth pony and we are in a diamond dog mine so wait for rescue.” Mystic Falls told us.

“So how long you been here?” Maria asked him.

“Since I was born...” Mystic Falls said.

“You were born in this mine? Wow that is terrible. So how old are you?” I asked.

“I am 21 years old, my mother was captured during pregnancy, and I never knew about my father.” Mystic Falls said.

“You tell us to wait for rescue and you been here for 21 year, that is a terrible idea.” Maria told Mystic Falls.

“Hey! Do you have any better idea than this? Do you know how long I waited for rescue!” Mystic Falls yelled at us.

“What's going on here?” A diamond dog said as he walked to our cell. “It time for you to mine.” He open the cell door and lead us out and he also took out Mystic Falls with us.

“So what’s the operation?” I asked Mystic Falls.

“What do you mean?” Mystic Falls replied.

“What you pony normally do?” I asked.

“We just mine gems.” Mystic Falls answered.

“Have you ever tried to escape?” Maria asked.

“Not yet but many try to escape, only three made it out the mine, but I don't know if they actually made it, maybe the diamond dogs killed them before they made it into any towns. Because if they did we should have the guards here already.” Mystic Falls said with a irritated tone.

“Here start mining!” The diamond dog ordered us. He give us each a pickaxe and left us to mine.

“Dats it, he left us and nobody is watching us, how stupid are these Diamond Dogs?” I asked.

“They are not smart but they make up for it with numbers.” Mystic Falls explain to us.

“Well, Tom, let’s make a plan.’’ Maria said to me.

“Ok.” I look around and noticed a few things to make weapons. “We could start making spears with those broken pieces of wood off the wall and and sharpen the stones to make some stone axes.” I said.

“Good thing, I married an engineer.” Maria stated as she gets the rocks.

“Good thing, I married a doctor.” I say to her as I get pieces of wood.

“Tom, I'm historian now!” Maria said with annoyance

“You ponies are planning to break out? You just got here. That's a bad idea. Just because the guards aren’t watching everypony, most of the guards are at the front entrance.” Mystic Falls told us.

“First of all, its people, not ponies. Second of all, if the entrance is well guarded, plan B is in action.” I said as I inspect the pickaxe to see if it's good for hitting.

“Ok. I’ll wait here.” Mystic Falls stated and he sat on the floor.

“I made myself a sword.” Maria said.

“That's cool.” I said as I inspected it, it was a long piece of Ruby, each side was carve out to make it sharp. Getting hit in the head with this with definitely collapse the brain. “That would cause some serious damage.” I told Maria.

“Thank you, Tom. Now, I can defend myself. Are you ready?” Maria asked me.

“Yes, Maria, I am. I made five spears and a stone axe.” I said.

“Good luck! I’ll be waiting here.” Mystic Falls said.

We went out of the cave where Mystic Falls was and into a tunnel. There were two diamond dogs standing guard next to 12 ponies. Four were unicorns, two of them were pegasi, and the rest of them were regular earth ponies.

“I’ll sneak up on them from behind and you’ll go in from the front.” Maria told me

I waited a few moments for Maria to get in position.

Once in position, she started to count on her fingers as I prepared myself. Three... Two... One… Then she gave the signal to go as we started to move.

I ran at the diamond dogs and split open one of their skulls with my axe. His brain oozed out of his skull as if made of mush. Blood sprayed into the air like a fountain as he started to fall to his knees.

At the same time, Maria had snuck up on the other Diamond Dog. She managed to slice open the side of his neck while blood burst from his neck. He desperately tried to hold it in but all he accomplished was a gargle.

“Is everyone okay?” I asked the ponies. They looked at me with fear but one of them came up to me and said,

“Thank you, mister. for... for freeing us.” the brown unicorn told me.

“We are not out of the fight yet. Here, grab a spear.” I ordered him.
He grabbed the spear and the others soon followed and the rest took the pickaxes. I lead them to another cave where they were more prisoners and guards.

“Stop there... pony!” The diamond dog ordered.
A pegasus from our group, flew into and impaled the diamond dog. The diamond dog was left hanging on the wall before the pegasus re-joined us.

“Attack!” Maria ordered as she threw a pickaxe at a diamond dog. The pickaxe flew forward and hit the diamond dog in the chest.

Then everyone started fighting and the other prisoners took their pickaxes and started fighting the diamond dog. Some of the ponies died and Mystic Falls appeared out of nowhere with a metal rusty spear, he impaled one of the diamond dog in their gut and swiftly pulled out the spears with his intestines still clinging onto it.

“Wow! I didn't know you, humans, were actually going to do this.” Mystic Falls said.

“When my wife and I say that we’ll do something, we do it.” I told him.

“Well looks like you started a fight, let's help out so we could win.”

“Ok, say please first.” I said to him. The fight is pretty much over and diamond dog were defeated, because of the surprise attack.

But then alpha dog appeared and started killing everyone or everypony. I hate saying that but anyways the alpha dog killed the unicorn front of him.

“Hey puppy, why don't you take on a real man?” I said to the alpha.

“I will kill you for... for this insult, you hairless Minotaur.” He said as he rushed at me with his long sword.
I step aside at the last second and poked him in the back. “Come on, puppy. This is why you never find a mate.” I said with a smile.

He growls at me and swung his long sword at my chest. I moved out of the way but he cuts my spear in half. Shit I thought to myself as the alpha smile.

‘‘You're pathetic, it's time to die!’’ he said. Then he kicked me to the ground, he aim his long sword at my head

“Tom!” Maria screamed as she came to the rescue but the alpha spotted her and smacked her face and she falls on the floor, then the alpha turn to her and raised his long sword at her.

“That is no way to treat my wife, you bastard!” I took out my pocket knife that was in my shoe and ran at him at full speed, I jumped on his back and started stabbing him on his skull.

“Take this and this!” I yelled with anger as I stabbed his left eye again and again. Then he collapsed and I fell with him. I got off on him and looked at what I did. His skull was collapsed and his mouth hung open as blood rushed out of it.

I ran to Maria to help her up. “Are you okay, honey?” I asked concerned.

“I'm ok, Tom. I know having kids hurts a lot more that dis.” Maria told me with a laugh.

‘‘That wasn't funny’’ I told her. I noticed the battle was finished and the Diamonds dogs had dropped their weapon and stared at us.

What's going on? I thought then one of the diamond dog started chanting.

‘‘Alpha, alpha, alpha’’ the dog chanted then more diamond dogs starting to saying the same thing.

‘‘Alpha, alpha ,alpha, alpha’’ all the diamond dogs chanted.

‘‘What did you humans do?’’ Mystic Falls said.

‘‘I have no idea’’ I said.

chapter 3

Guess what happened, I own this place, the territory and the Diamond dogs. I apparently became the Alpha when I killed the old one. Mostly all of the diamond dogs didn't like him because he was a terrible leader, he sold his own people for his own greed and fortune, so here I am sitting on a stone chair being praised by all my subjects so the first thing my first order of business.

‘‘Call me King Tom.’’ I blurted out.

‘‘King Tom, King Tom!’’ all the diamond dogs in the room said.

‘‘Tom stop playing around, what are we going to do with the slave ponies?’’ Maria asked me.

Maria was sitting next to me and she declared herself First lady. It made sense in two ways, she was the first lady here and she was married to me and I'm the leader now of this diamond dog clan. Also I discover the other clan in the area who doesn't like this clan.

‘‘My second order business, free all the slaves!’’ I declare.

‘‘booo!’’ Someone in the crowd yelled out.

‘‘You'll be quiet I'll make you mine too.’’ I stated.

‘‘Who is here that knows how to farm?’’ Maria said.

Ten ponies raised their hooves and none of the Diamond Dogs.

‘‘And who is a builder and also know carpentry?’’ I asked.

Five ponies and ten diamond dogs raised their hooves and paws.

‘‘Then I need you to build a farm!’’ I ordered them.

And they rushed out of the room.

‘‘Okay everyone time to feast’’ I told everyone.

The cooks burst into the room bringing food and drink, which was mostly water.

While everyone else was having fun and talking to each other, I noticed Mystic Falls leaving the room.

What's he up to? I thought to myself.

‘‘Maria, I'm going to follow him. Keep the citizens happy.’’ I told Maria.

‘‘Ok Tom go’’ Maria said.

I got off my chair and started following Mystic Falls, he went to the left and then turn right
And I tail behind him, I noticed he was going to the exit of the cave. I followed him out and hid behind a tree. Oh I saw him sitting on a log staring at the night sky, and I decide to review myself and walk over to him.

‘‘Mystic, what are you doing out here? Why are you not at the feast?’’ I asked.

‘‘Let me be alone, Tom.’’ Mystic reply with an angry tone.

‘‘Come on, Mystic. What you angry about?’’ I asked him.

‘‘You doing this.’’ Mystic told me.

‘‘What! I free this place from slavery and a bad leader. Why are you angry about that?’’ I said.

‘‘Well I was quite happy, I never thought about being free and you changed everything.’’ Mystic said.

‘‘Yeah if you like being tortured and worked to death.’’ I told him

‘‘Maybe, I do like it. I don't need your bucking help!’’ Mystic yells at me.

‘‘Hey calm down, I'm just trying to help you.’’ I said and I thought it's a terrible pun for a bad word.

‘‘I'm sorry, Tom. It just... Is this what being free is like? Feeling the wind brush through you and seeing the Sun bright up the world and also the moon rise up in the dark sky. Hearing the bird chirping and also tasting new food.’’ Mystic explained to me.

‘‘It’s alright, Mystic. I know it’s difficult for you to change, but you have to adapt, life throws you everything and you must learn how to survive it.’’ I told him as I patted his back.

‘‘But is it worth it in the end, because I don't know’’ Mystic said.

‘‘Nobody knows but I could tell you it is.’’ I say to him.

Mystic looked at the ground and kicked a rock.

‘‘It’s easy for you because you started with almost everything, you have a father, a mother, a wife and family. I only had my mother and she died when I was 5.’’ Mystic said with a sadface.

I realized, I had it all. Mystic Falls had nobody to care about him, he was all alone.

‘‘So how your mother die?’’ I asked him.

Mystic looked at the night sky and he sighs.

‘‘I caused her death, all because I decided to go into a unstable tunnel to explore and started playing around. I decided to pry off one of the wooden pillows and ended up collapsing the section of the tunnel. I cried out for my mother to save me. She grabbed me but the Tunnel started to collapse. We were about to make it out but a big rock fell on her and I fell off of her back before the entire tunnel collapsed in on itself.

She told me that she loved me and it didn't matter if she was dead she would always be watching me, I didn't understand what she meant then she pushed me out and the tunnel collapsed on her. That was the last time I saw her.’’ Mystic told me with a tear in his eye.

‘‘I'm sorry for what happened, Mystic. I know everyone made mistakes, just don't blame it on yourself.’’ I tell him.

‘‘But it was my fault if I didn't go in the tunnel it wouldn't have happened.’’ Mystic cried out.

I hugged him and said, ‘‘It's alright Mystic just move on, it just in the past now just let it go.’’ No frozen reference I thought to myself.

‘‘Ok Tom.’’ Mystic said as he wiped his tears away with his hooves and gets up.

‘‘Now enjoy the feast.’’ I said to him.

We started to walk back to the entrance what I heard the song.

‘‘Oh No.’’ I say with a grown.

‘‘What’s this song? It sounds nice.’’ Mystic asked me.

‘‘Yeah if you hear it a lot.’’ I said.

We were getting near the feast hall when I saw Maria dancing on the table.

‘‘Maria, what are you doing up there?’’ I asked her.

“Because I offered to build a school for these citizens.’’ She said as she danced.

‘‘You know how expensive that would be.’’ I told her.

‘‘You don't know how much money we have in this clan and I know it's a lot.’’ Maria said.

‘‘Forget it. I don't have time for this, I have a kingdom to run.’’ I said to her.

‘‘It’s not a kingdom yet!’’ Maria yelled back.

‘‘It will be soon!’’ I declared as I sat down on my chair.

chapter 4

Four weeks later...

‘‘Hurry up dirt bag, climb over the wall!’’ I ordered the diamond dog front of me.

‘‘But sir, it's too tall.’’ The diamond dog said as he looked at the fifteen foot wall.

‘‘Does it look like I care? Now climb over or l makes you clean the toilets!’’ I yelled at him.

‘‘Yes sir.’’ The diamond dog said as he ran to the wall and started climbing rapidly.

I watched him for a while. I saw him fall like three times so I decided to leave him be, anyways I started to walk towards the city that Maria and I made. Technically we didn't made it, we just made the plans of it and were the architects also made the blueprints. How many lives in the city were 321 diamond dogs and 95 ponies, it was 162 ponies, but they had left and only 95 remained anyways, so the population was 416. Which was great and the farms were able to support 200 more citizens and also we going to expand the farms bigger to support an even larger population. Anyways it's been six days since Maria and I named this city,
Concrete City. I know it was stupid but I was making cement for the buildings at the time.

‘‘Hey Tom. Are you here for the opening of the Middle School?’’ Mystic Falls asked me.

The city already had 24 buildings, including the school.

‘‘Yes I am, I'm here to inspect the school for any leaks and crack.’’ I stated.

‘‘So this going to be the first building with lights?’’ Mystic Falls asked.

‘‘Yeah this is the first building. So how the military doing for you?’’ I said to him.

Mystic clear his throat, ‘‘Well good just the recruits are stubborn and they keep getting their ass kicked by this diamond dog who keeps calling herself, The Digger.’’ Mystic said as we walked down to the post office.

‘‘Has anyone defeated her?’’ I asked as I tip my top hat at a pony on the sidewalk.

‘‘No and I keep telling you… it... anypony.’’ Mystic said with a frustrating voice.

‘‘Keep your own grammar to yourself.’’ I said, as we walk down the sidewalk, coming up to us was a large building, it was the middle school the entrance has Roman pillar and a fountain that already had coins in it, it has solar power on top of the roof and also ten rooms. Five of them are classrooms, the biggest one is the gym, the nurse's office, two bathrooms for the girls and the boys separated and also the school office, but no teachers lounge, yet.

‘‘So….. this is school?’’ Mystic said as he looks at it.

‘‘What's wrong with my school?’’ I asked, I don't see any problem with it. I thought.

‘‘It looks like a w.’’ Mystic told me.

‘‘Fuck you, Mystic! Does it matter looks like a w?’’ I yelled at him, it does look like a w but that was not the case I thought to myself. Anyways.

‘‘It looks like everyone is here.’’ I said as I went to get a drink from a lemonade stand. It does look like every pony and diamond dog, and also my wife is on the stand.

‘‘How long do we have to wait for your wife’s speech?’’ Mystic asked me.

‘‘Well like right now.’’ I said as I looked at my watch. Then my wife turned on her mic and everyone went quiet.

‘‘Thank you everyone for being here for the ceremony of the opening of the school.” Maria said as clear her throat. “I want to thank the people who built the school with their sweat and blood, anyways I can pick the teachers who will be serving and the school and the principal please congratulate them. if you want your kids to be in the school, please enroll, but before I finish the paper if you wish to enroll is on top of the table on your left. Now I will cut the ribbon.’’ Maria said. She grabbed the scissors and pointed at the ribbon and sliced it open.

‘‘Yay!’’ the crowd cheered as they entered the school, we went with them too. Anyways inside of the school was nice. There was a statue of Maria, which was creepy. Then there was a fountain and a huge Tesla coil inside a huge glass ball and it was lighting up the room each five second at middle of the school.

‘‘Wow, what is that?’’ Mystic asked me with wonder.

‘‘That is a Tesla coil. it’s dangerous soooo don't go in there.’’ I answered.

‘‘So this is electricity, looks fascinating and look at my mane!’’ Mystic said excitedly, His mane was rising up.

‘‘Yeah it's great anyway look at the lights and running water.’’ I said as I went over to the drinking fountain, I plunge my head and drink. ‘‘mmmmm……… cold water.’’ I said out loud.

‘‘Don't drink all of it, I want some!’’ Mystic said as he pushed me aside to be able to drink too.

‘‘That's rude.’’ I told him and left to find my wife. I'm pretty sure she was in the science class. I walked through the halls and into the room that was the science class. There was Maria with the captain of the border guards. I know I could have called it Border Patrol but that sounds mean enough already.

‘‘Hey Tom. I need to tell you something... something important.’’ Maria said with a worried look.

‘‘What is it?’’ I asked as I looked at her.

‘‘Captain, can you tell him about the problem.’’ Maria ordered the captain.

‘‘Yes sir, there is a group of Diamond Dogs heading this way and they are armed. What should we do, sir?’’ The captain asked.

Who was attacking us and why? I thought to myself.

‘‘Captain Ace, get your troops ready, we need to stop the group before they reach the town.’’ I ordered him. Now where did I put my pistol? I thought to myself.

‘‘Yes sir, I would get the troops ready!’’ Ace said. Then he left the room.

I turn to Maria, ‘‘Maria, what should we do? If these diamonds dog are hostile, should we strike back?’’ I asked her

‘‘If they attack first then we should attack them, anyways you think we have to hold them off if they are hostile?’’ Maria ask me.

“I don't know but keep the people safe in the school, I’ll go with the guards.’’ I told Maria.

‘‘Ok Tom, but be safe.’’ Maria said, then she hug me, she let go and left the room.

I left the room and walked out of school, I passed by an apartment which is being built as construction workers were buzzing around the building. I also passed by the water treatment plant, which is only for the school but soon the entire city. Next to it being built was the marketplace which was going to become stores anyways. There was the guardhouse which looks like a castle, All it would be missing was a moat and it looked like the captain was already here with the rest of the guards.

‘‘Sir, I got the guards ready.’’ The captain told.

‘‘Okay captain. Let's go then.’’ I ordered, we started to march but a pegasus descended in front of us.

‘‘Sir, the group has passed the river. We tried to stop them but they attacked us and injured eight of us. Sir, we can't hold them off for much longer. We need assistance now.’’ The pegasus said.

‘‘Private, you could rest here and Captain we must go right now, we must help them.’’
I told him.

‘‘Yes sir.” Captain Ace turned around and looked at the guards. “Guards! Ready! Set! March!’’ He ordered.

I‘m leading them into the danger, hopefully most of them make it out alive. Anyway the river is two miles away from us which it will take us awhile. Hopefully we could make it there in time. Because these Diamond Dogs attacked my people, they deserve no mercy, well maybe some because Maria would hit me. And she hits hard with those nails.

chapter 5

‘‘Ooh... sugar crane!’’ I said as I grabbed one of the leaf of the sugar crane and pulled it down. I grabbed my knife and cut the middle of it and put the sugar crane in my mouth. mmmmm, tasty I thought to myself.

‘‘sir, the enemy is about to be here any second and we found the rest of the Pegasus most of them are injured and one of them is critical. Captain ace told me.

I smiled at the diamond dog. ‘‘good thing you found them captain, now send them back home and dig the trenches and get a crossbow. what the Scouts said is they are 131 troops heading this way so we must dig ourself in because they are only 46 of us including me. so get ready for a long fight and also tell this to everyone.’’ I said.

‘‘But sir do you think we can hold them off?’’ a diamond dog said.

‘‘No!, but have some faith, now go to your post private.’’ I ordered him so I went up the hill, once I got up there I use my telescope and Scout where the enemy supposed to be at, I've been at it for 30 minutes when I noticed a movement in the trees. ‘‘Oshit there are they are everybody to positions’’ I ordered. I got in the trench and raised my rifle to point at them.

They walk slowly and the stop, the one in front of them came up to us

‘‘Greetings clan of ……. Whatever, my name is Snitter, I'm here for the daily slaves to collect and I see you already have brought them to us.’’ Snitter said as he look at us.

‘‘These ain't slaves you dumbass!’’ I yell at him inside my trench.

‘‘Who is the fool who said that, I will cut off your arm and slaughter your family.’’ Snitter stated as he pulled out his sword.

‘‘I did you dumbass, there are no slave for you to collect, now leave my land.’’ I said.

Ok then, now show yourself so I may speak to you.’’ Snitter ask me.

I decide to show myself so I got out of my trench, ‘‘Here I am.’’ I said as I appear to them.

‘‘You're a fool……hairless Minotaur, fire!’’ Snitter yelled out.

One of the diamond dog pull out a bowl and shot an arrow at me which miss me by an inch and hitting the pony beside me in his right leg. the pony scream in pain as he collapsed.

‘‘Oshit get down!’’ I ordered as I got down, I went over to the pony who got shot.

‘‘Are you ok private?’’ I ask him as I look over his leg.

‘‘Yes sir, at least it was only my leg, not anywhere else.’’ the private answered.

I look at him with a serious look you're not out of danger yet, you may get a infection, so keep that leg clean or you die.’’ I told him.

I got up off the floor and look at the enemy.

‘‘This is an act of war, we are forced to retaliate, everyone attack!’’ I ordered everyone.

Then everyone starts to shoot they crossbow and I pull out my pistol and shot one of the diamond dog climbing up the hill, then I shot another one and another one and another one until my clip is empty.
The enemy was climbing up rapidly up the hill.

Oh no I'll thought to myself, look like we need a counterattack, which made we need to jump out of the trenches and run at them, which is a bad idea. Good thing we made inside of the hill hollow and we are on solid part, so I decide a retreat and I light the beam that is holding up the hill.

‘‘Retreat maggot, we need to get out of here. I ordered as I got out of the trench. Then everyone follow my lead, we ran down the hill as the enemy got on top

‘‘Are you retreating you weakling, I knew you would be defeated, now are we slaughter your family's .’’ Snitter stated as he celebrating.

‘‘Think again mutt, look down you idiot.’’ I told him as the hill started to collapse

Nooo.…… Snitter yelled out as he fell with his army.

I pretty sure that killed half of them, if not I'm pretty sure they all weakened and injured. I thought to myself.

‘‘Sir, we ready to counter attack, do we go now?’’ Ace ask me.

I look around and saw some of the enemies started to get up from the debris and also looks like Snitter survive the fall

‘‘Damn, looks like that bastard survived and captain, commenced the attack.’’ I ordered him.

‘‘yes sir, charge!’’ Ace scream as he runs at the enemy with everyone one else and I follow with him as we met the enemy everything went into chaos dogs and pony were dying, it was hard to tell which was the enemy maybe except the pony.

I should really make uniform. I thought to myself. Then I saw captain ace was lying on the floor about to be beheaded by 3 enemy diamond dog, the third one raise his axe but before he could do the final blow. I raced over to them and and stab the diamond dog in the chest making him drop the axe, then I pull out my knife out of his chest and blood fountain out of him

oops I must have hit a vein and also I got my clothes dirty. I thought to myself.

Captain Ace proceeded to get up and attack the stun dogs, grabbing the axe from the fallen enemy and he proceeded cut off the head of the diamond dog closest to him. I get behind of the other one and give him a gash on his neck.

The dog tried to stop the bleeding on his neck but he couldn't and he blood out.

‘‘Are you okay captain?’’ I asked Ace.

‘‘Yes and thank you for saving me sir.’’ Ace said with gratitude.

I look around us and noticed that we are winning but I see some of ours are dead.

‘‘Retreat! retreat!’’ someone said. The enemy were retreated and I also saw Snitter going with them.

‘‘Sir, the enemy are retreating should we follow them?’’ Ace ask as he see the enemy retreating.

Yes but, we need to give our fallen a proper burial.

Yes sir’’ Ace said as he saluted. then he left to tell the others.

Now what religion should bury them with, Christianity, Catholics, Islamic, Hinduism Buddhism, Judaism, or none of them because that would cause diversion which is kind of good. I don't know, I need to speak to Maria. I thought to myself.

An hour and 7 miles later…..

There it is, the enemy clans Cave, what did you think I'm going to call it. Anyways there are 10 of them guarding the entrance, it would be tough, good thing I have a pistol which only have two more clips, so I have to make this count. I thought

‘‘Captain, do we have this surrounded? we don't want them to escape do we captain.’’ I said menacingly.

‘‘Sir, that sounds evil.’’ Ace said with a worried look.

‘‘Sorry captain, I didn't mean to sound like that, anyways get your guard ready and wait for my signal. I said as I pull out my gun.

‘‘Yes sir.’’ Ace said.

Anyways after he left, I decided to approach the enemy, then they all saw me, one of them pointed his spear at me.

‘‘Who are you?’’ he ask as he check me out.

‘‘I'm here to free the slaves and get revenge.’’ I told them as I pull out my pistol and shoot him in the head, which makes him have a mini seizure as he falls to the ground. The other diamond dog were stun as i signal my army with a whistle.

My guards came busting out of the trees then dispatch the remaining guards and we proceeded to enter the cave. As we enter the cave, I noticed there were cages hanging on the ceiling fill with skeletons and decayed remains. As I drew closer to one of them I notice it was a gruesome scene there was a pony with his head cut off and flies are buzzing around him and its head was staring at me with those soulless eyes with a grin so wide it it looks like something for Halloween. there was another body which it was a mare cover in scars and her head was deformed.

‘‘Someone check on her if she is alive.’’ I told everyone.

A diamond dog & unicorn went over to see if she was alive, anyways as we went down deeper into the cave, more and more gruesome scenes appeared. it looks like some of them did suicide but I was not sure. Am I pretty sure some of these pony were torture the death.

‘‘Sir, this is evil.’’ a guard said as he tucks in his wings.

Most of the guards were puking.

I have to give these bodies proper burial I thought to myself. Then I noticed there was a door and I hear the enemy behind it trying to block it with something.

‘‘Unicorn get ready, all that unicorns we have got in the middle, ready, mark, fire!’’ I said out. loud they shot the laser beam directly at the door and it was destroyed. We all March in the door started attacking the enemy, but they were ready, they counterattack and smash into our line.

I put up my pistol and started shooting into the ranks of the enemy when one of them went at me with his weapon draw, i was able to dodge but he give me a buzz cut.

‘‘You bitch! now I need to grow my hair again.’’ I said as I proceeded to shoot him in the chest two times. ‘‘that's what you get.’’ I told the now deceased body.

I looks around and see the enemy being pushed back and I see couples pony prisoner behind the enemy.

we need a break through I thought to myself.

So I went into the enemy rank and proceeded to kill many as I can, anyway as we got closer and closer to the center I spotted Snitter uncovering a hole with sunlight shiny down from it.

‘‘Someone stop Snitter, he is escaping!’’ I told everyone.

Some try to get him, but they couldn't get there because the sheer amount of enemies surrounding Snitter.

Snitter laugh. ‘‘Looks like you can't get me you may have won this time but I will get more diamond dog to fight against you, farewell hairless Minotaur.’’Snitter stated as he started climb up the escape hole some of the diamond dog Follow him up, but we were able to get there stop the rest from escaping, the rest of the diamond dog who didn't escape drop the weapon and surrender to us.

we free all of the slaves, but looks like some of them have shell shock or something like that and there were 263 slaves.

‘‘Sir, I found the Treasury and arsenal, the Treasury contains 1470 Equestria bits and other precious metals and there are a slave who wants to thank you.’’ Ace told me. As he was finish the free pony came up to me.

‘‘My king, I want to thank you for freeing us from this place, I do whatever you commence.’’ the elder pony said.

‘‘So tell me, how long you been here?’’ I asked him.

He looks sad and says ‘‘I just been here 37 years’’ he told me.

‘‘tell me do you miss your home?’’ I asked.

‘‘Eversense I've been taken I dream of going going home.’’ he said with a tear in his eye.

‘‘What if you go home now. would you be happy.’’ I asked.

‘‘You can send me back?’’ he said.

‘‘Guards help this pony to get home.’’ I ordered as I thought. home line, where the heart is.

chapter 6

‘‘Rex, Rex! Oh, there you are.’’ I say to my dog as she runs at me.’’ I start tickle her as she rolls to expose her belly. ‘‘Do you want to treat?’’ I pull out a dog biscuit ‘‘Here, have one.’’ I say as I give her the biscuit, which she ate off my hand. ‘‘Come on, we need to find Maria, I'm pretty sure she at the Science Fair.’’ I grab my diary and start writing.

Day 58

It been 58 days since Maria and I got here, it been an adventure, but everything settle down. The only problem I'm worried about is Snitter, who was able to escape our grasp again for the third time, he was hiding in a local clan recruiting more diamond dogs for his so called crusade against us, we've been tracking him since the battle, but he keeps escaping from us. But everything else is fine, our territory is the size of Belgium and our capital is boosting a population of 760 which 435 are pony, the rest are diamond dog. Anyways as the city expand in power and influence, more and more clans, tribes, factions and households joins us, but also more enemies we make, we already have a rival which is called the pelts, we going to have peace talk in 3 days, hopefully it goes well, if not this is war then. Ok today schedule is, be at the first skyscraper opening, which in fact is 25 floors which is the tallest building in the city, take Rex for a walk, check on mystic at the training camp to see what he does with the recruit, and lastly go to the science fair.

‘‘Oh No the science fair.’’ I said to myself as I slam my diary close.‘‘ come on Rex, we need to get to the science fair ASAP!’’ I said as I said as I run out of the room with Rex.
I started walking through the hall when a guard came up to me.

‘‘My king, there are visitors waiting for you in the throne room.’’ The guard said.

Visitors I thought.
‘‘Do you know why they're here?’’ I ask him.

Anyway I follow the guard to the throne room where the visitors were at, we came up to the great doors leading to the throne room and guard open the door for me and I walk through. As I spot the visitors, one thing I notice about the visitors that they are Gryphon or Griffins. As I walk up to them, they see me have a look of surprise on their face.

‘‘Greeting, I am sure that you are the ruler of this majestic city.’’ He says as he bows to me. ‘‘My name is Copper Beak, I'm here because I want to set up a trading agreement with you for my kingdom.’’ Copper Beak said as he pulled out a piece of paper.

‘‘first thing Copper Beak, this is a kingdom and second thing, you want me to trade with your kingdom, why would I do that, I don't know anything about your Kingdom and you want me to trade with you.’’ I told Copper Beak as I sit on my throne and I see Copper Beak becoming nervous.

‘‘Well, I'm here because my king sent me here, because our kingdom is on brink of collapse, because no other nation is nearby, our country is becoming poorer as the weeks go by, so please help us.’’ Copper Beak said with a pleading look.

I sighed. ‘‘Fine, I trade with you, before I do, tell me what you guys have?’’

Copper Beak proceed to take out something out of his bag, it is a paper and he starts reading to me.

‘‘well we have copper, iron, silver, gold, wheat, apples, animal's pelt, pigs, medicine and doctors.’’ Copper Beak said.

‘‘You have a really good case, Mr Copper Beak, ok I will sign the agreement.’’ I took out my pen and wrote my name on it. ‘‘I declare this agreement official.’’ I announce to everyone in the room, with that I look at Copper Beak who is crying.

‘‘Thank you, thank you Mr…’’ Copper Beak sputtered out.

‘‘It Tom.’’ I tell him.

Thank you Mr, Tom, so what the first order of business?’’ He ask me.

‘‘Well, do you have coal?’’ I say to him.

‘‘What coal? Copper Beak said with a confused face.

‘‘Coal, is a black rocks-’’ I was able to say before I was interrupted by him.

‘‘Oh, do you mean the rocks we used to write on paper, we have tons of them, there is nothing else to use them for, so mainly used it for paper. Is that what you want?’’ He asks me.

‘‘Yes, we need that to power our city, because we don't have a dam yet.’’ I explained to him.

‘‘Okay I will go tell my king.’’ Copper Beak said as he starts packing up with his assistant.

‘‘Tom, where were you?’’ I heard Maria voice call out.

I turn around and see Maria walking toward me.

‘‘Hey Maria, we have a new trading partner, his name is Copper Beak.’’ I said to Maria as she inspect Copper Beak.

‘‘Welcome, Mr, Copper Beak to our fine kingdom, I hear thou going to be our trading partner, is that true mr, copper beak?’’ She asks him.

‘‘Yes m'lady, so are you the queen?’’ Copper Beak ask my wife.

‘‘Ay, but mine title is first lady not queen, so whence doth thou hail from Mr. Copper Beak?’’ Maria asks him.

‘‘I came from the kingdom of Grifo Rhea, which is a quiet kingdom, it rule by a beloved King name Eduardo.’’ Copper Beak said to my wife.

‘‘It sounds like a nice place, are you going to leave Mr Copper Beak, because we going to have dinner today, do you want to join us?’’ Maria asks Copper Beak, but he shook his head.

‘‘I can't, I need to go back home to tell the news, but thank you m'lady.’’ Copper Beak.

‘‘Well, i can't let thou go high-lone, guards! escort this gentleman safely back home.’’ Maria ordered.

‘‘Thank you m'lady.’’ Copper Beak said with gratitude as the guards took him out of the room.

I look at Maria with serious look.
‘‘Maria why you talking like Shakespeare?’’ I asks her.

‘‘Tom, I can have fun to.’’ Maria said.

‘‘You did well but I think you overdid it.’’ I say as grab her hand.

‘‘Ok, now let's go to science fair. Maria tells me.

‘‘Ok Maria.’’ I said, with that we left for the science fair.

chapter 7, 3 days before peace talks.

*Knock* *knock* ‘‘Now what’’ I rub my eyes and yawn. I get off my bed and walk over to the door. I open it and see it is mystic is the one knocking. ‘‘Mystic! Why are you knocking, its 4 in the morning!’’

Mystic close his eyes and pulls out a book. ‘‘Well, you told me to wake you up early.’’ Mystic said as he open his eyes. ‘‘And, the peace talk will be in two days, so you need to get ready for it.’’

‘‘Ok Mystic, just let me get my suit.’’ mystic nod and I close the door.

‘‘Who was that Tom?’’ Maria ask from our bed.

‘‘It Mystic.’’ I answered as I went to the closet.

‘‘Is it about the peace talk?’’ she said as she get off the bed.

‘‘Yes, it is.’’ I grab a blue suit and also a red tie with black shoes. ‘‘So, Maria get dress, we have a long day ahead of us.’’ I said to her as I put my pants on.

‘‘I know that Tom, I need to go to the opening of the City Hospital, take Rex for a walk and see the local farms.’’ Maria said as she went in the bathroom.

‘‘My today work is, planning for the peace talk, pick someone for the new Minister of Information and intelligence, which are in fact different. The intelligence is spying, the Information is about history, books, day of birth and other thing about the country and its people.’’ I said as I get out the closet.

He simply walk up to me while holding the book. It looks strange seeing a four legged creature walk on three legs while holding something.

‘‘Tom, I may have found somepony to become the head of information, do you want to meet her?’’. Mystic ask.

‘‘Ok, do you know how good she is.’’ I said with a happy expression. Hopefully she's good because this way too much work.

‘‘well.…. She used to be a secretary until till she was captured.’’ mystic said sad tone. ‘‘But she's only one qualified to become head of the minister of information, what I know about her that she's really good keeping organized.’’ he said with a happy tone of voice.

‘‘That's a good thing, Mystic.’’ I say to him as we enter the throne room.

She blew her hair or mane out of her face and preceded to walk up to me.

‘‘My name is Secret Info, I'm 52 years old, I was a secretary for my mayor of my small little town for 32 year, I got a invite from Celestia School for Gifted Unicorns for being really good with magic but I decided to pursue my talent.

‘‘Very interesting miss Info, this job it's about being organized, if your talent is about that, you may get the job.’’ I lean close to her face. ‘‘All I need to know, do you get stressful, do you have a great immune system, do you have a great memory and last, are you trustworthy enough. Because I do not want a traitor among us.’’ I get off my throne and walk a few feet.
With her behind me to add a serious atmosphere in the room.

I may have broken her. I thought. She hadn't move for 5 minutes. Ahh, ok she's moving again.

I look at it. This may cost millions dollar in America, so she is serious.
I put the necklace in my pocket. ‘‘Are you willing to sacrifice this for my loyalty?’’

‘‘Yes.’’ she said with the her head down.

‘‘Mystic, take her to her new office, look like we found someone, welcome aboard Miss Info.’’

‘‘Thank you.’’ Info said with a happy tone.

Mystic took Secret Info out of the room. Living me alone with my guards. I turn to look at them.

‘‘Open the door.’’

Both of the guards open the huge Oak door letting a mass of my subject in.

It's going to be a long day.

1 hour of pointless and some serious issues later…

‘‘Another issue is, having a park, most citizens want a city park, so they sign a petition, it's almost have everyone in the city in it.’’ she said. (I told her to say everyone instead of every pony, because it isn't racist and more easier.)

‘‘Approve, what else.’’

‘‘Other town and villages want running water and electricity and I pretty sure I know what you're going to response.’’ Note said with a yawn.

I simply nodded.

‘‘Well that's all, there soon to come more at 5pm, goodbye my king.’’ she said. With that she left the room.

the peace talk will determine what country well be the super power at the area, the pelts, Tom Kingdom, or Grifo Rhea, who knows not even me.the next chapter with tell the history of other two countries, and status of the three nations.

A brief history of Grifo Rhea

The kingdom of Grifo Rhea.

Grifo Rhea has a population of five millions Griffins and ten thousand other species.

The kingdom is collapsing due to economy, because it's the only kingdom around until Tom and Maria arrive, the two kingdoms are trading partner.

Grifo Rhea are able to get wealth while Geyser (this is the name of the kingdom of Tom and Maria, if you don't like it tell me.) able to get resources,

Grifo Rhea is mostly made of hunting community, mostly in fishing, because it next to the ocean, it has couple of mining and lumber mills scattered across the country.

The history of Grifo Rhea is mostly is peaceful but like most country, it has some bloody chapter in it.

Grifo Rhea was founded by a baron. The baron was on the run from his king who decided to try to kill him. Because the Baron secretly met with the king daughter.
When the King discovered this. He told the Baron to stay away. But the Baron refused. So the king sent an assassin to poison the Baron but accidentally poisoned the Baron brother.
When the Baron discovers his brother was murdered he feared the king was responsible. So he told his subject to build ships strong enough to handle the waves and challenge the wind. He didn't think about speed of the boat just the durability. he told the princess to come with him. The princess agreed. The princess snuck out of the castle.
So when the King discover his daughter was missing. He sent 10 of his best Knight to retrieve her and to kill the Baron.

So when the ships was ready the Baron went to get his family, but it was already too late, his keep was burning and his family was slaughtered.
The Baron and the princess got on one of the ships and most of the peasants went in the rest of the ships.
With only 10 ships they set sail. They thought they got away, but the King has another idea, he sent all of his fastest ship to capture them. The Baron couldn't outrun them.
So the Baron decide to go in a massive storm to lose the King's ships, only the Baron ships survive brutal storm.

3 Months pass at sea.

A mutiny happens at one of the ships. The peasant at the ships say they want to go back.

But the Baron threatened them to sink their ship, the peasants reply with a surrender and hand back the ship to the captain.

A month pass at sea

And a ship gets affected by diseases.

Half of the ship population is dead or affected, the survival decided to kill the affected and throw them overboard.

Two week pass and a ship is caught on fire.

They were able to stop the fire, but the damage is already done. The ship sank taking most of the crew and subject down within. Only a couple handfuls survive.

A weeks later they landed on unknown land.

In a couple of months they would built a settlement, but their trouble are far from over.

When they finally build a settlement.

Other inhabitant of the land decide to prey on them.

So when a Diamond dog clan attack the small settlement.

They retaliate with force destroying the diamond dog.

The Baron decided to train his ragtag militia, by doing so making his militia into a real army.

In one year they took over more territory from other diamond Dog.

So years have passed and the Baron decided to propose to the princess. the princess accept and they move into the new castle in the new capital. In a couple months they have the first child. A male strong Griffin, because the princess and the Baron are married, it makes them king and queen and also the child the prince.

Skip to 43 years later.….

The prince has married a lovely female Griffin and has two daughters and a son

The lower class are revolting, the rich are seen corrupt and are hang, the royal family response with imprisoning the Griffins who took part of this Act.

It took 1 years to stomp this out.

five years later the king dies. The Queen later dies with a broken heart.

The Prince become king and his wife become queen.

Only 5 months of ruling.

A revolution break out.

The revolution group called the new feather try to attempt on the king life but fails misery result in one of them to be captured and torture then later hang.

The country become separated and collapse into Civil War.

The fighting are between Grifo Rhea loyalist and New Feather Republic Of Grifo Rhea or N,F,R,G.
(sounds almost like the USSR, just without Communist and monarchy losing. Because this one the monarchy won.)
The war is bloody with no side seams to be winning until a loyalist stumble upon secret documents during his patrol.

With the new information the loyalist were able to destroy the revolution group and unite the country once more. But there are rumors that some of the leader of N,F,R. Were able to escape to somewhere else.

The 10 years old war was finally over.

But the ideas and losses made by the N,F,R. Stayed.

So years have passed, but so the era of peace, peace seems like a distant dream to most, but to others didn't matter. But to some it did.

The country is the pollen, the war was the bee, the bee may have took the pollen, but it did bring it to the flower, out came the flower
Prince Eduardo and his two sisters.
The first immigrants are pony, Minotaur, zebra, other. trade is disappearing.

Fast forward to 7 years.

Eduardo was….. how do I say it, a smart trickster child, he knows how to mess with everygriffin and doesn't forget anything. So when his father told him he will buy a castle when he's 6, Eduardo remember and he was just 3 years old.

Skip to 10 years.

The king and queen parish in a fire at the castle.

Nogriffin knew how it happened, but some speculated it was to remain of N,F,R.
(It not anymore the N,F,R,G, because because they lost)
The fire spread through the castle under 10 minutes so it wasn't a accident.

The young Eduardo became King the next day with the old king best friend as a advisor.

The first problem he must dealt with is increasing attacks of diamond dog, Eduardo order a mass attack against the diamonds dog clan,
The solutions has worked for 5 years and he gained more resources and territory and also subjects,
Until he meets a diamond dog nation name Pelts.

Eduardo doesn't like the Pelts, so he wants to destroy them, but the pelts are more closer together, he realize he can't attack one massive city with almost all the population of the Pelts in it. He cannot burn the stone and dirt the city is made of and the 35 foot wall. So he waits.

In two years he gets married and his wife get pregnant. But the economy is collapsing. But he doesn't want to trade with the Pelts. It seems the country is due to collapse to economy failure. until Eduardo hears is about the new country, not losing this opportunity he sent one of his best merchants to this country, he hopes that he's able to trade with them. Only time will tell.

The history of Pelts

Pelts is well.…. Kind of Democrats wait no a republic. Ok, just imagine it without the voting and mostly fighting. So the government of Pelts has a president but isn't voted in, no you fight for position and it isn't called president, it called alpha dog, (ah jokes.)
So the government of Pelts is made of 5 head clan, these head clan choose their best or smartest fighter to become the alpha dog, if one of them win, he or she would control the entire nation, the catch that anydog could challenge you for the position, so you must be smart enough or strong or lucky, maybe also the dog fighting you could stupid, so you must hold on the position, because if you lose, you be executed, (seriously) that's the 2nd law, the first one is find a mate or become a outcast.

So the history is really terrible, this country is founded 45 years ago for what, having total control over land that is the size of Belgium almost cutting trade between two massive nations names Geyser and Grifo Rhea, almost exactly the same size. the other two nations are bigger by 45 mile except Grifo Rhea is bigger by 59 miles. [go straight to the history woman!] <ok… old man>

The name of this land it's called pelt, and the capital is called peltington

peltington is you could call a city state, because it has large walls and also because it's the only town or city,

Now okay to the history.

It's all started when a traveling clan got stranded during a terrible blizzard, they try digging into the ground to escape the blizzard, but it was solid granite, they had no choice to but a large wall just to keep the blizzard out, how did they build the wall, through Blood and sacrifice, they use the bone of the dead to break the granite, and the dead they ate, it took months just to build 5 foot wall.

The clan started to fall apart when the brother alpha wanted to used the dead skin to use it for coats but the Alpha wanted to use it to make houses.

They separated with half of the clans, this side to make houses and the other side made coat.

For 3 months of the blizzard finally stopped. It was spring, the two groups finally got out, only half of them survive. So what the first thing they did. Argued. They were arguing who should be the alpha. So instead of regrouping they separated to become separate clan.
They decide to stay at the spot because how many of them died. They built the wall to separate the clans, it was going well until another clan appeared. And another one and another one and another one until there was a 100 different Diamond dog clan. The two original clans thought of something. put the 5 oldest Clan to be the government.

It work for a while until the newer ones wanted to have a say in the government, you know how the newest clans did it, they storm the capital building and executed almost everydog in it, only a couple escape, when the five heard about this, they proceeded to kill the entire clans that was involved in it.
The death toll is 427. (That isn't really bad.)
But there was more, the 5 wanted to have more control, to do this they killed over 1370 dog, they showed everydog that they are not messing around.

With the city growing, more and more diamond dog came to live there. The growing problem is the slaves, [everyone know they have slaves to do mine] the slave population made 35% of the city. So what would happen if the slave had a rebellion.

Let me tell you, it didn't go well either for them.

It started when one of them has have a plan to escape, she spread her plan to other pony and most of them agreed with her, so they hatch the plan, they took over the Capitol building, the local guard house and one of the sections of the city, the diamond dog retaliated with massive force that the pony had to retreat to the section that they take over, the pony dug in so hard, so each time the diamond dog try to take back the section, they are losing every time. So as time went on the pony that inhabited section 4 became the daily life, to sabotage to assassination and stealing from the other dog.

Good thing they try to free other pony and to bring them back to the prison that they called home.

The former slaves have made their home in section 4, it's completely abandon by the diamond dog population, makes sense for the slaves to make it there, so it became a symbol of hope for any slaves that escape, the former slaves hat turn this place into a democracy or wasn't it Republic, doesn't matter.

it current leader is -----, she's really aggressive to the diamond dog, she's currently trying to get the leader of Grifo Rhea to help her take the city. I'm pretty sure the King would listen to her because he doesn't like the nation, but who knows.

chapter 8, 2 date before peace talk. part 1/2.

‘‘….That's why we need to get funding for the solar power plant.’’ The diamond dog said in front of me.

‘‘That's a really good idea but, are you sure this is enough to power the city?’’ I answered.

‘‘I'm sure.’’ he said with a serious voice.

‘‘Ok, I provide you the funding’’ I put my hand on my chin. ‘‘but if you fail, I arrest you for fraud.’’

The diamond dog looks nervous
‘‘yes-yes…. Your Majesty, I will not fail you.’’ The diamond dog stuttered.

‘‘Ok, move along.’’ I ordered. He move away and the next person came up to me.

‘‘Your Majesty.’’ The orange pony looks up to me. ‘‘I'm a reporter from GEYSER TIME newspaper.’’ He took out a pencil and notebook. I'm just here to ask you a few questions.’’

‘‘What about?’’

‘‘Did you know humans are myth.’’ he answered.

‘‘What do you mean? I said with a curious tone. ‘‘and how did you know I was human, I didn't say anything what I am.’’

Why it took that long for people to ask me what I am. I thought to myself.

‘‘I read it from a myth and legend book when I was little, it saids 2000 years ago the human Kingdom was ruled by a tyrant. The tyrant wanted everything he could obtain. So he rage war on other country.’’ The reporter took a breath and continue. ‘‘….When they finally United to destroy the country, they won.’’

‘‘I never heard about that story’’ I thought for a few seconds to make of it. ‘‘So all humans are viewed as evil beings, why didn't other tell
me?’’ I said as I put my hands together.

‘‘Because either they were born here or never read or heard about the stories.’’ The reporter answer.

‘‘Thank you, that's give me a idea’’ I stated to him

‘‘What is it about?’’

‘‘I well conduct a pool for the public to vote who is better me or Maria.’’

The reporter looks confused for a second. ‘‘But… that isn't related to the humans thing that we were talking about.’’ he said with a serious tone.

‘‘It is related but you won't get it.’’ I proceeded cramps my hand together.

‘‘Okay..…. Can I ask you one more question?’’ he asked.

‘‘What about?’’

‘‘Do you know anything about the pelt ambassador?’’ The reporter with a hint of curiosity.

I put my hands on my chin and I ponder.

‘‘Well I know he's part of the one of the main clan and he is a cousin to the alpha dog.’’

The reporter raised his hooves.

‘‘Wait, he's related to the alpha dog?’’ he asked.

‘‘Yes and don't ask about trying to bribe him.’’

He looks surprise for a second. ‘‘No-I wasn't asking.’’ He muttered.

‘‘Hello.’’

I look behind the reporter and noticed a impatient line.

Ok.

‘‘Hey,….I need you to leave, other people want their turn.’’ I ordered.

he looks around and noticed the big crowd behind him being agitated.

‘‘Oops I'm sorry, can we continue this at a later date?’’ he asked.

‘‘Yes now hurry up.’’ I point him to the door.

‘‘O-my majesty 1 more thing, can I give you this newspaper?.’’ he said. he pulls out a newspaper and give it to me without me answering to he. He proceeded to walk out of the room.

Okay….. I look at the newspaper and start to read it. I look at the first section of the newspaper.

‘‘Can you take me where they were spotted?’’ I asked him.

He nodded.

‘‘Good, we don't have time to lose.’’ I got out of my throne and he proceeded to lead me out of the room.

-24 minutes later- (outskirts: concrete City)

‘‘Sir.’’

‘‘Yes Captain Ace’’

‘‘We have found the diamond dog and we have them inside a tent.’’ he answered with a graceful look on his face.

‘‘Lead me to them.’’ I ordered.

‘‘Yes Your Majesty.’’ he said calmly. I follow him past couple of tents until we reach a big one.

I into a tent and there he was, the ambassador of pelt.

What is he doing here early? I thought to myself as he came over to greet me.

‘‘Ahh, You must be king Tom, I hear it a lot of things about you.’’ he answered with a grin.

‘‘And I too.’’ I answered while shaking his paw. ‘‘So why are you here early?’’ I asked him as I let go of his paw.

He put his paw on his chin. ‘‘Well I didn't have nothing to do until somedog visit me ’’ he answered.

‘‘Who was this dog?’’ I asked with curiosity.

‘‘I think you may know him.’’ he declare. The ambassador clap his hand three times and someone else came in the tent.

I stare at the dog and realize who it is. Why is he doing here.

chapter 9, 2 date before peace talk. part 2/2.

“What are you doing here!?” I asked/yelled at the Diamond dog front of me.

Snitter simply smiles at me with a grin. “Well hello Tom.” He says as he walks over to me. “It's been some time since we met Mr Tom.”

I look at him. trying to figure out what he's doing. “So how's it been Snitter?” I asked as i sat down.

He looks at me with piercing eyes and answered.

“It's been well, I was at the Mansion of the alpha of Pelts and I told him anything I knew about this place.” He said with a smile that I wish to cut off.

I was about to say something but the ambassador walk over to us and he sit on one of the chair next to me.

“So Tom, the Alpha sent you a personal message, here it is.” He says as he get comfortable in his chair. He grab his bags and pulls out a envelope and he proceed to handed over to me.

As I grab the envelope. I see Snitter lean closely next to me at the corner of my eyes.

I open the envelope and pulled out a paper bearing the alpha emblem and I proceeded to read the message.

This is good news and bad news. I thought to myself as I look at the ambassador. so he is related to him. Good to know. “So Ambassador what's your name?” I asked.

The ambassador answered. “My name is Wet Fur, the overseer of the territories of marks.” He says with a happy tone. “I'm the last bloodline of my clan, the claw-marks which in fact is part of Sparky bloodline which is complicated so I won't tell you.”

“So you guys are cousins or whatever.” I said with fascination in my thoughts.

“Yes we are.” He answered my question as he pulls out another paper.
This one looks almost the same except it is bearing a claw marks emblem.

“I assume that yours?” I asked him as he gives me the envelope.

He's simply nod his head.

Anyways I opened up the envelope and see the paper is made with better quality of wood.

King Tom. You maybe wondering why did I give you a envelope. The reason is the other dogs name Snitter. He has been sent with me because he has “experience” with you, and I think the council wants him to report anything to them. So I hope I could meet you alone somewhere without Snitter watching and listening.

As I finish reading I nod to Wet Fur in knowledgement.

He nods back and Snitter look between us with suspicion.

“So what are you guys and nodding about?” Snitter asked with curiosity in his voice.

“We decided to go to a more private location to discuss the rest of the discussion.” Wet Fur answered with a sly grin.

Snitter raised his eyebrows at that comment.

“Can I come with you?” Said Snitter as he stands up.

“No its ok.” Wet Fur said as he also got up to. "You should be resting, it been a long walk.” He suggested.

I also got up and walk up behind the ambassador.

“Yeah, you should be resting Snitter.” I said with a little bit of annoying in the my tone.

“As you wish.” He said as bow his head to the ambassador.

I decided to call in a guards. “Guards!” I yelled out and a guard enter the tent. “I need you to take Snitter to the guest room at the embassy.” I ordered. Which is a really small two story building with a fountain in front of it and a iron gate surrounding it.

“Yes your Majesty.” Saluted the guard as he took Snitter with him out of the tent.

“Good.” I said with relief. “He finally left,” Anyways. I turned to face the ambassador and we started talking about solutions and problem of the future until my wife comes on the tent with a excited look on her face.

“I heard the Ambassador is here.” She said with a smile.

“Umm, are you the wife of King Tom?” Ask Wet Fur as he scan over Maria.

“Oh thither ye are.”

Ah, again with the accent, at least its getting better. I thought to myself as Maria walk over to us.

“So ye are the ambassad'r of pelts, i presume?” Said Maria to the dog as she sat down to next to me facing him.

“And to answer thy question, ay i'm his loving wife.” Answered Maria with a happy look on her face.

“Good thing your wife is here.” Stated Wet Fur. “Now we could finally finish the important issue.”

Maria decided leaned in closer. “What issue?” she asked with a hint of curiosity in her voice.

“What is it?”

Wet Fur face became the face of uncertain. (Which doesn't make sense.)

“Remember when I told you that they may be plotting assassination.” Said Wet Fur as he slumped back on his chair.

We nods.

Wet Fur look at us with a worried look and the mood of the room becomes dark and emotionless until Wet Fur decide to speak again.

“About 3 days ago, my cousin the king was viciously attack while he slept at 2:07 am.” He explain with a sad tone. “Two assassin were able to severely injured him and escape, but one of them left a fatal flaw.”. He said strongly as he tighten his paws.

“What was it.” I asked.

“They forgot to slit my cousin throat.” He answers with relief. "They thought he was dead after they stab him many times, but they are not trained assassin, but instead sell swords and they miss every single major artery.” Exclaim Wet Fur as he chuckled to himself. “And you know what the best part is.”

“Nay, what is it?” Ask Maria.

“My cousin was able to see their face and make sketches out of them, and two days later they were captured and interrogated.” Wet Fur laugh out loud in his seat.

“So what happened to the ‘assassins’?” I asked Wet Fur after he finish laughing.

“Well.” He said as he recover. “After we torture to them they told us they were under the order of the Hunt, the third largest clan entire made of bloodhound.” Wet Fur Answered as he threw his arms up in the air.
“Those bastard think they could cheat, I will show them when they mess with my family!” He declared.

I see he's a family man. I thought to myself. That's a good thing.

Chapter 10, 1 days before peace talk. part 1/2.

“It's going nicely Mystic.” I said as I oversee the construction of the catapults. “It is the most finest Siege weapon I seen, but not if only one I seen.”

Mystic Falls look up to me with a smile on his face. “Ahh thank you, it took a while but we finally made it.” He says as he pointed at the catapult. “That catapult may be one of it's kind.”

I got confused at that statement. “What do you mean?” I asked with curiosity.

Mystic looks at me with a sly smile on his face. “I may have changed the design a little bit.” He admitted with a laugh.

“What did you change?” I said while looking at the catapult.

“Well as you may see the catapult is much bigger and it has two small regular sized catapult attached to the side.”

“I notice.” I answered. “At least you should have told me you were going to change some things about it. You know a little heads up.”

Mystic just laugh at me. “You and your wife is always busy with that ambassador and that enemy of yours.” He says as he stops laughing. “So I have to oversee the military and the Border Patrol from mistakes and lollygagging.” He answers.

“Okay, maybe I should give you a raise for your patient.” I said sarcastically at Mystic who is getting down from his seat.

“Well you better be, I almost broke my neck during the construction.” He admitted.

“Why would you helping with the construction?”

“What, I'm not lazy like you. I have a life.” Mystic mock me as he go get drink at served table. “A cup of water please.” He said to the servants who was tending the table.

“Okay sir, I'll get your drinks just wait a minute.” The pony said as he went to get the water.

“Anyways.” Mystic said as he turn around and face me. “How's it going with the Ambassador, I heard that Snitter was following him around like a pack dog.” He said as he waited for his drink.

“Yes.” I answered with irritation. “He doesn't want me to get near the Ambassador and I am pretty sure he's plotting something but I don't know what.” I told Mystic who simply nodded back.

“Don't you have Secret Info, the head of the minister of information spying on them?”

“No.” I replied. “Her job is keeping the archive updated and maintaining the libraries across the Nation.” I answered as I facepalm myself. “It's not spying or keeping an eye on people.” I explained as I remove my hands off my face. “It's not for spying or gathering intelligence.”

“Are you sure about that time. Because I have been seeing pony and dog from her minister spying on the Ambassador.” He replied with a smirk. “So tell me that, isn't that spying. or is that is ‘information’ Tom.”

“Wait, you're telling me that Miss Info is spying on our guests without my permission.” I said with disbelief. Why is everyone working behind my back.
“Agh!” I said out loud as Mystic simply laugh at my misery.

“Hehe, you are a terrible ruler Tom.” Mystic said out loud as other pony stop and stare at him for a moment. “you can't even control your own wife=”

“Hey, she's an independent woman. I'm not going to oppression her just because she leaves the Castle more than me.” I admit it.

“Well the citizens like her more than you because she's more outgoing and more socialized.” Mystic said as the waiter comes back with his drink.

“Here is your drink sir.” The waiter announce as he placed the glass of water where Mystic sat.

“Oh thank you, here have a tip.” Mystic said to the waiter as he took out a dime of our currency out of his coin purse.

(Which looks like it's has my face on 1 side and Maria on the other side).

“Thank you sir, if you want anything else please ring the bell” The waiter suggest as he left the table. Leaving me alone with Mystic Fall.

Mystic grab the glass of water and drinks from it with a straw. When Mystic is finish drinking, he put back the glass back on the table and continue talking to me.

“So about that Castle you want to build.” He asked with interest. “So you want to make an official home instead of living in the mines. I agree with that, but don't we need more barracks for the growing numbers of armed Personnel in the city and the rest of Geyser?” Mystic pointed out a serious answer.

Good question. I haven't thought about that myself. I thought. So I decided to answer that question. “We could always build the barracks inside the castle, so if we under attack. Our soldiers could quickly get out of the castle and set up a defensive perimeter around the City if we know about any threats from the outskirts of the city.” I told Mystic who nodded in approval.

“That works but how about the rest of the country.” Mystic added. “All those towns and villages still need some protection from the local wildlife and some dragons living around the area.”

“We could figure that out later.” I told Mystic. “But now, I have a visitors from Grifo Rhea and, I can't miss that meeting. So mystic, it's been good talking to you but I have to go.” I said as I got off my seat.

“Okay Tom.” Mystic yelled at me as I left the serving table. Anyways when I left the training field I continued walking down the street, one thought came into my mind. who's the visitor.

“Ah Mr. Tom we meet again, so how's it going I may ask.” Said Mr Copper Beak as he take a sip from his tea. Which he was holding on one of his talons. “Mmm.”

I was sitting across from him. On one of the many chair on this large table, the entire table was filled with exotic and common Delicacies from all over the country. The left side of the table was filled with bread, rice, pudding and milk. (Which is unnerving, because it came from a sentient cow name Daisy) and the right side of table hold meat which came from chicken, fish, birds and eggs. (Which kind of eggs, I don't really know).

There were also drink too like wine which came from our brewery, water which came from our Rivers, champagne which came from our church. (Which doesn't have a religion, it just for marriage ceremony).

Anyways the first thing I got from the table was a glass of wine. I reach it with my hands, I firmly grasp it and I bring it back to me. I brought it up to my lips and took a sipped from it. Letting it go down my throat. It's much better from the ones from Safeway. I thought to myself as I put down the glass of wine next to my plates of apples.

I turned to look at Mr Copper Beak. “To answer your question yes, It's been going very well Mr Beak. Ever since we started trading with your country, We experience economic growth and better living arrangements for everyone who is living in our small country. We even had a population bloom.” I pointed out with a smile on my face. “Now our population is 25 thousand-across the Nation and barely that, this city holds 3000 out of the 25. Our capital is largest city in our country and I have to thank you for that. Because you bought us supplies, and with those supplies we made more homes. Which in fact created more family which made more people to come live here and that is what I am really grateful for. So thank you.” I said with a sincere tone of voice.

“”Well thank you your majesty, but really, I was just doing my job as a Merchant.” Mr Copper Beak admitted as he tried to hide his.embarrassment. “It was really nothing at all.”

“But it was still you who did this.” I admitted. “But nevertheless let's get this meeting started.”
