Just Can't Be Bothered

As Adagio drowsily walked down a long hallway the savory smell of waffles enticed her. As she collapsed in her chair she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. "What is for breakfast?" Adagio yawned.

"Waffles," Aria said.

Sonata walked over to the table and put down a plate of waffles in front of Aria and Adagio. The waffles had blueberry smiley faces and whipped cream eyes. Adagio and Aria groaned as Sonata grabbed the syrup. "What is up with the smiley faces Sonata?" Aria said under her teeth.

"Oh come on lighten up you guys," Sonata said as she drowned her waffle in syrup,"You need to get over the "incident" and have some fun!" Sonata squeezed Adagio and Aria into a tight hug.

"Get off!" Adagio yelled as she pushed Sonata off. "We were humiliated! How are we supposed to lighted up?"

"Yeah, it's not like we can start over," Aria said.

Hearing this from Aria gave Sonata an idea. She ran to the front door and grabbed a news paper. As she ran back in the house she flipped through the pages and shoved it in her friends' faces and pointed to the want ad. "It says here that a cherry farm needs help, poor cherry farm!" Sonata pouted.

"That is not what it means you idiot! It means that the owner needs employees," Adagio scolded.

"I knew that," Sonata said as she gestured over to Aria. "So what do you think?"

Aria looked to the floor, then to Adagio who gave her a shrug, and then back to Sonata. "I just can't be bothered"

"Oh come on! I'm pretty sure nobody over there knows us. We can start over,"

Aria looked at the floor again then back to Sonata. "Fine," she muttered through her breath.

Sonata hopped away happily towards her room to start packing. Once Sonata was out of sight Aria started to notice that Adagio was eyeballing her. As she exhaled Adagio started to put her hands on her hip. "Seriously! You couldn't be bothered? That is the first good idea she has ever suggested and that is what you say?"

"I didn't want to admit that it was a good idea, I am just not used to saying that...particularly to Sonata,"

"I know," Adagio said "but sometimes you should give her credit." Adagio patted Aria on the shoulder and walked away.

Unfortunate Reunions

The train arrived at Dodge Junction station. It was a quite simple town. Once they got off the train they noticed they were the only ones getting off. "Well they weren't kidding when they said country," Aria said.

It was a short walk to their destination. The farm had trees spread out for miles dotted with red and yellow cherries. A large red building stood in front of the whole scene. "Well I guess there is no turning back now," Adagio said nervously.

Before they were able to knock on the door a stout woman in a bright yellow dress opened the door. She had dark red hair with brighter red highlights put up in a ponytail. Her green eyes gazed at them before she said anything. "Well hello there, can I help you?" she said.

"We are here for a job! We saw it in the want ads!" Sonata said cheerfully.

Ms. Jubilee examined Sonata and her friends. "Well you look like promising workers, why don't you come in," she said as she gestured for them to come in.

"My name is Cherry Jubilee but you can call me Ms. Jubilee. The job is quite simple. All you have to do is pick cherries, sort them, and help me sell them at my cherry stand in the town. You are welcome to stay in a room above the farm and meals will be provided. Any questions?" Aria raised he hand.

"You purple haired one."

"My name is Aria. What kind of salary are we looking at?"

Ms. Jubilee laughed. "Want to get straight to the point I see? I like that in a worker. You will get paid fifteen dollars an hour."

"At least we get paid decent money," Adagio muttered.

As they walked up the steps Ms. Jubilee opened the door to show them a large room with three twin beds. "And this is where you will be staying. Make yourselves comfortable we will get straight to work tomorrow at the rodeo." As Ms. Jubilee left the three started to unpack.

"Well she was pretty straight forward," Adagio commented.

The girls changed into their pajamas and got into their beds. "We just got here and she already wants us to work a cherry stand at some sort of rodeo?" Aria said "Talk about extremely straight forward."

"The sooner we start the sooner we get paid, so i'm not complaining," Adagio yawned as she turned in her bed and fell asleep.

Sonata flicked the lamp off and turned in her bed. "Adagio is right, lets just stick to the positives."

*****************************************

As the sun started to shine through the window, Ms. Jubilee burst through the door. "Rise and shine girls! It's time to get to work!"

The girls started to groan. "Come on we have to set up the cherry stand at the rodeo!" Ms. Jubilee shouted.

As Ms. Jubilee walked out the door the girls got up and started to change. "First day! Hooray!" Sonata said eagerly.

"Hooray," Adagio and Aria said uninspired.

Once they got to the rodeo they started to set up the cherry stand. "And now it is time for our first event! The hurdle jump!" the announcer said in the megaphone.

All the runners started to line up at the starting point. Sonata started to stare at the runners. "Hey guys look over there!" Sonata said eagerly jumping up and down and pointing.

Adagio and Aria stared at the runners until they noticed Applejack. "Hey isn't that one of the members of the Rainbooms?" Adagio asked.

"So much for starting new lives," Aria groaned.

As the gunfire sounded all the racers started to run. Applejack was one of the quickest ones there. As she perfectly jumped every hurdle her blonde hair flew in the air. As the race began to come to an end Applejack crossed the finish line first. "And the winner is Applejack!" After Applejack crossed the finish line she started to grab a bottle of water and walked towards the cherry stand. Sonata started to get nervous.

"Oh no! She is coming this way!" Sonata said nervously.

As Applejack started to get closer the three started to get even more nervous. "Can I get a slice of cherry pie?" Applejack said as she put some money on the table. When she looked up she gasped. "Hey what are you guys doing here?" she said angrily.

"We should be asking you the same thing!" Adagio shot back.

"I hope you aren't causing any trouble! You better not try to take over this town too!"

"You really are stupid, we can't cause any trouble without our pendants...which you and your friends broke!" Aria said.

"You can't call me stupid when you can't even sing without your pendant!" Applejack shot back.

"Why wont you guys just stop!" Sonata yelled.

"Oh look, now the dumb one is talking!" Applejack said sarcastically.

"That is it!" Adagio yelled, "Sonata may be dumb, but no one else is allowed to call her dumb but me and Aria! I have done nothing but try to be nice, but you have crossed the line!" Adagio grabbed a cherry pie off of the stand, "We are not causing trouble!" Adagio said as she threw the cherry pie in Applejack's face.

Applejack fell backwards and everyone in the stands started to stare. The awkward silence was broken by laughter. Applejack's face was so red no one could tell where it was with the cherry pie on her face. "Yes you are," Applejack said softly before running away.

The awkward silence came again before it was broken by Sonata. "Thanks for standing up for me!"

"It was the least I could do," Adagio said sincerely.

"So much for staying hidden though," Aria commented, "Maybe not having those pendants really have changed us."

A Slice of Cherry Pie

After the rodeo the three were left to clean up the stand. The arena was quiet while all of the stand workers were cleaning up there stands. As Sonata was quietly sweeping she noticed a worried expression on Adagio's face. "Is something wrong?" Adagio quickly looked up at Sonata only to look back down.

"I'm just a bit upset," Adagio admitted.

"It was jut a minor setback," Aria said reassuringly, "lets just hope she doesn't go back to Canterlot High blabbing this to her friends. Especially the rainbow one."

Ms. Jubilee came towards the stand to confront her new employees. "Don't let this get you down girls. Why don't we go back to the orchard and have some of the leftover cherry pie."
***************************************************************

Back at the orchard the three sat down to a large brown table. As Mr. Jubilee came towards the table with four plates of cherry pie the sweet aroma filled the air. She sat the plates on the table in front of the girls and seated herself on the other side of the table with cherry pie. As she sat down Sonata took a bite of the cherry pie. She spit the pie out instantly after tasting it.

"Why do the cherries taste different from the ones that they put on top of milkshakes?" Sonata asked. Adagio and Aria elbowed her.

Ms. Jubilee laughed at Sonata's silly question. "Of course they taste different! These cherries are fresh, the ones in milkshakes are candied cherries."

"Since when have you ever had a milkshake anyway?" Aria asked with a flat expression.

"I don't have to tell you guys everything I do!" Sonata said smugly.

The three sat quietly eating their pie pondering the events that happened earlier. Would the negative publicity make it hard for people to see their good side? After finishing their pie Sonata broke the silence as always. "Ms. Jubilee do you have any other jobs for us to do?"

"For your next job I need you three to sort the red and gold cherries."

Ms. Jubilee leaded the three to a giant room with a conveyor belt and two giant buckets. "This is the cherry sorting room. When I turn on the conveyor belt, you will need to put the red cherries in the red bucket and the yellow cherries in the yellow bucket. Tomorrow you will need to make a delivery."

"Well that seems easy enough," Adagio said.

As Ms. Jubilee turned on the conveyor belt, cherries started to come out the machine. She walked out the room and left the three alone to work. Aria pushed the red cherries in the bucket while Adagio pushed the yellow cherries in the bucket. "I have never heard of yellow cherries," Sonata blurted out.

Adagio and Aria completely ignored her and continued to work. Sonata started to think of a way to make them happy again. "Have you ever wondered what a yellow cherry tasted like?" she asked but they still ignored her.

"Don't tell me you guys aren't talking to me anymore! What did I do?" Sonata asked frustrated.

"SHUT UP!" Adagio and Aria yelled at the same time.

Sonata sadly got back to work while Adagio and Aria went back deep in thought. The conveyor belt suddenly stopped spitting out cherries. "Well it looks like our job is done!" Sonata said cheerfully.

Adagio and Aria were still gloomy. Lost in space they walked up to their room to go to bed early. Confused Sonata went outside to think in the cherry orchard.

Beneath the Cherry Trees

Sonata sat outside staring at the cherry trees. As she slowly started to doze off, Ms. Jubilee came and sat beside her. "Are you alright?"

"Not really. My friends are acting strange. I just don't get it," Sonata said, "We came here to change. At first they seemed to like the idea but ever since earlier, they started acting strange."

"Why would you ever want to change in the first place dear?" Ms. Jubilee asked.

"People don't really like us, so we thought we should try to be different."

"You can't teach an old dog new tricks," Ms. Jubilee added. Sonata started to get confused.

"We aren't old! And what does a dog have to do with anything?" Sonata asked. Ms. Jubilee laughed.

"It means you can't change a someone's personality." Ms. Jubilee said. Sonata jumped up.

"That's it!" Sonata yelled, "We shouldn't try to change who we are. We should just be ourselves!" Sonata thought for a moment. "But if we be ourselves nobody will like us."

"But does that really matter?" Ms. Jubilee asked. Sonata though for a moment again.

"We don't wan't everyone to hate us."

"I am pretty sure nobody hates you," Ms. Jubilee said reassuringly.

"But they do! We've done pretty bad things in the past," Sonata said. As she thought again she came up with an idea. "What if we did something to make people see our good side." Sonata thought.

Sonata jumped up and took off towards the barn. "Thank you Ms. Jubilee!" she yelled.

Sonata ran eagerly to the room where the three were staying. In the newspaper where she found the want ad she also found an article on Sugar Cube Corner that stated 'Sugar Cube Corner is raising money for renovations'. Once Sonata crawled in her bed she stared at the ceiling wondering if her idea would ever work. Adagio and Aria were already asleep. Five minutes later Sonata was sound asleep confident in her idea.

The Delivery

View Online

In the morning Sonata woke up to the sound of birds chirping. The rest of the beds in the room were already empty. Sonata quickly changed and ran downstairs. When she got to the dining room she found Adagio and Aria with Ms. Jubilee. "Glad to see you could make it," Ms. Jubilee said.

"Even though you aren't even on time," Aria mumbled under her breath.

Ms. Jubilee handed Adagio a to-do list. "This list has all of the deliveries you need to make today."

Adagio stared at the list and read it to herself. "Lets go"

Adagio walked out the door while Sonata and Aria followed. Soon they approached a stack of boxes on a moving cart. "I guess these are the cherries we have to deliver," Adagio said.

The three walked to the train station with the load of cherries. Adagio looked down and read the list. "Looks like our first delivery is to Canterlot High," Adagio moaned.

"Of course, we should have seen this coming," Aria said sarcastically.

The three nervously walked on the train and sat down. "So how are we going to make this delivery without being seen by the students?" Aria asked.

Adagio thought for a moment. Right before she was able to speak, Sonata raised her hand.

"Ooh! I have an idea!" she said excitedly.

Adagio rolled her eyes. "What is it?" she asked.

"We can become invisible! Then we can walk right through the school, and nobody will notice." Sonata said confidently.

Adagio and Aria rolled there eyes. "And how do you expect that to work?" Adagio asked.

"And wouldn't people freak out it they saw floating box of cherries?" Aria asked.

Adagio stared a Aria. "Yes that's what's wrong with that plan," she said sarcastically.

"Duh! We make the box of cherries invisible too," Sonata said.

Adagio and Aria were still confused. "How are they going to get the delivery if they can't see us or the cherries?" Adagio asked, "Actually, forget about it."

"Any other ideas?" Aria asked. Sonata scrunched her face and it looked like it was about to explode.

"What is it now?" Adagio asked annoyed.

"We can give you a disguise! Then me and Aria can hide in your hair!"

Aria began to snicker. Adagio's face began to glow red with rage. Before she yelled she caught herself and calmed down. "And how do you expect that to work?"

"How can it not work?" Sonata asked back.

Aria began to snicker even more. "She has a point Adagio. Your hair is big enough for us to hide in," Aria said as she uncontrollably laughed.

Sonata and Aria started to laugh even more. "Enough with the jokes and be serious!" Adagio yelled.

"Why don't we just sneak through the back?" Aria asked.

As soon as Aria finished her idea the train stopped at Canterlot station. "We will go with that idea," Adagio said a she got up.

Aria and Sonata followed her off the train with the cart of cherries.

"It looks like a giant marshmallow," Aria whispered to Sonata.

Sonata and Aria started to quietly giggle.
****************

As the trio approached the cafeteria door they started to stare. "What about the staff?" Aria asked.

"I am pretty sure we didn't put them under our spell," Sonata said.

Confidently, Sonata knocked on the door. An old woman with white hair put up in a bun answered the door. "Who is it?" she asked.

When she looked down she realized it was just a couple of teenagers. "What are you doing back here?"

"We are here for your cherry delivery," Adagio said.

The old woman examined them and then noticed her cherry order behind them. Aria handed her a pen and a paper to sign on. As she signed the paper the three started to sweat. Sonata nervously handed the woman the box of cherries. The woman took the cherries and closed the door. The three let out a sigh of relief. "Good thing she was to old to remember us," Aria said.

Adagio looked down at the list. "Our next delivery is at the animal shelter."

Animal Shelter Delivery

The Dazzlings walked across the town to the animal shelter. When they got to the door they stopped and stared inside. "Hey aren't those the girls from the 'Rainbooms'?" Sonata asked, "And Sunset Shimmer is with them." Sonata pointed inside to Fluttershy, Rarity, and Sunset Shimmer.

Adagio and Aria moaned at their unfortunate luck. "There is no escaping this one," Adagio and Aria said in unison.

Aria slowly reached towards the door. Rarity was trying outfits on the animals and checking color swatches while Sunset Shimmer and Fluttershy were feeding them. The Dazzling's quickly stepped inside hoping they wouldn't notice anyone walking in. "Welcome to-" Sunset started to say.

Fluttershy looked over and immediately screamed. Her scream was so high-pitched that everyone's ears were ringing. Worried, Rarity looked over only to see the Dazzling's. "Oh my!"

Rarity tried to keep a ladylike tone. "Um, what are you three doing here?"

Aria and Adagio stammered trying to find the right words to say. "Cherry delivery," the three said nervously.

Aria slowly walked towards Fluttershy. As Aria pulled out a pen and paper, Fluttershy jumped. "Sign here," Aria said.

"Um, ok," Fluttershy said nervously. She examined the pen half expecting it to explode or release some sort of poisonous gas. After a few seconds Fluttershy noticed the pen was normal so she signed the paper.

Sonata cautiously walked towards Fluttershy and handed her the package. Fluttershy examined the package then began to open it. After she opened it she examined it once more. She was half expecting the box to even have cherries in it. "Thanks," she said nervously.

"Awkward," everyone muttered under their breath.

As the three headed towards the door Rainbow Dash came rushing in. Rainbow Dash was going so fast she couldn't tell who was at the door. When Rainbow Dash tried to move her way around the three she bumped right into Aria and knocked her to the floor. "Hey watch where you are going!" Aria said as she tried to get up.

Rainbow Dash look up only to see Aria was the one she bumped into. "You three should know better than to show your sorry faces around here after we whopped evil's sorry butt," Rainbow Dash said.

"Ahem," Sunset Shimmer said to get Rainbow's attention.

"No offence."

"News flash! You didn't whoop our butt, you broke our pendants, and we ran away," Sonata said.

"What's the difference. We still defeated you and you have no business around here."

"If I have a say in this-," Fluttershy said softly.

"Not now Fluttershy. Even if you ran away, I still don't want you in here around my friends," Rainbow Dash said.

"Excuse me, but they weren't bothering anyone. You don't have to be so aggressive," Rarity said.

Adagio and Aria rolled their eyes and walked out the door. Sonata was still standing in the same place. Aria came back and dragged Sonata out of the building. "I can't wait until we are done with these deliveries," Aria said.

"The last delivery is to Sugar Cube Corner," Adagio read aloud.

Sugar Cube Corner Delivery

As the three made their way to their final delivery, Sonata noticed a sign in front of the Sugar Cube Corner door that read 'Raising money for renovations'. "I was right!" Sonata said inside her head.

Once they walked inside, nobody seems to be bothered that they were in there. They walked up to the counter with the load of cherries. Behind the counter, Mrs. Cake was giving Pinkie Pie a rundown of her cooking responsibilities. "Now Pinkie, please don't burn anything," Mrs. Cake said worried. Mrs. Cake walked away. Once she was out of sight the trio walked forward.

"Excuse me," Sonata said. Pinkie Pie turned around only to see the Dazzling's.

"Hey! Is that my cherry delivery!" Pinkie excitedly. Pinkie delightedly grabbed the pen and signed the paper. She opened the box and started to eat the cherries.

"Aren't those for the Sugar Cube Corner?" Aria asked.

"Of course not! I addressed them here so I won't have to go home to get them before I eat them!" Pinkie said while stuffing cherries into her mouth. "Would you like some?" Pinkie asked pushing the box of cherries into their faces.

"Sure!" Sonata said excited.

"So you aren't mad at us?" Adagio asked.

"Oh course not!" Pinkie yelled. "Twilight says it is bad to hold a grudge against anyone! Besides, you can't be all that bad if you didn't try to hurt me by now! This is the start of a new friendship!" Pinkie yelled again. "And I love making new friends!"

"I am pretty sure the rest of the Rainbooms think we are still bad," Aria said.

"Well if it were up to me, I would let you be in the Rainbooms but it is a group decision. But it doesn't mean we can't be friends! This calls for a cherry party!"

"No thanks," Sonata said, "We have to go back to work."

"No problem! See you around!" Pinkie said excitedly. She turned around. "Oh no! The cupcakes!" Pinkie gasped in terror. She ran towards the oven to pull out the slightly overcooked cupcakes.

The Dazzlings walked out the door and to the train station.

"Well she was fun and cheerful!" Sonata said.

"Maybe to fun," Adagio commented sighing.

The three took the train back to Dodge Junction and returned to the cherry farm. "We made all the deliveries," Adagio told Ms. Jubilee.

"Thank you. There is some dinner in the dining room," Ms. Jubilee told the three.

They walked to the dining room to eat dinner. "So how were the deliveries" Ms. Jubilee asked.

"They were fine I guess. We ran into a old acquaintances," Aria said. The room fell in silence while they ate.

After the four ate they went to their rooms to go to bed. Sonata sat in bed staring at the ceiling. "Do you ever think anyone will accept us?" Sonata asked Aria.

"How should I know?" Aria said defensively before going to bed.

The Fundraiser

Sonata woke up early in the morning and ran downstairs. When she got in the dining room she found Ms. Jubilee making breakfast. "Morning Ms. Jubilee," Sonata said.

Ms. Jubilee turned around when she heard Sonata's voice. "Good morning Sonata, how are you?"

"I am fine I guess, but I need help with something. I was hoping we can have a charity event to donate to Sugar Cube Corner."

"That sounds like a great idea! But what do you plan on doing?" Ms. Jubilee asked.

"I haven't thought of that," Sonata said. She looked down at the table and saw a picture of Ms. Jubilee holding blue ribbon. "Hey what is that?" Sonata said pointing to the picture.

"That is a photo from when I won the desert contest. My chocolate covers cherries won first prize."

Sonata jumped up with a crazy idea. "That's it!" she yelled, "We can sell your chocolate covered cherries and donate the profits to Sugar Cube Corner!"

"Sonata, it is not that easy. We can't just donate all the money to Sugar Cube Corner, we need to keep some of the money."

"Then why don't we just donate half?" Sonata asked.

Ms. Jubilee looked in the refrigerator for some ingredients to make chocolate. "I guess that can work but that means that we need to work all morning."

"Then let's get to work!" Sonata said eagerly.

When Sonata opened the door, Aria and Adagio were standing behind it. "Looks who woke up late this time," Sonata said.

Sonata immediately ran outside to pick cherries. Adagio and Aria walked in the kitchen. "Morning girls, we need to work all this morning to make some chocolate covered cherries for a booth," Ms. Jubilee said.

"A booth again?" Aria asked.
****************

The cherry orchard was full of trees dotted with red and yellow cherries. Sonata searched the orchard for the best cherries. A tree deep in the orchard was full of glossy red cherries. "These seem like they're the best."

Sonata grabbed a ladder to climb the tree and picked the cherries. "I can't wait until everyone tastes these!"

Sonata ran inside with a basket full of cherries and into the kitchen. I got the juiciest cherries I could find!" Sonata yelled as she opened the door.

"Just in time. We just finished the chocolate so bring the cherries over here so we can wash them," Ms. Jubilee said.

Sonata put the basket of cherries into the sink and turned the water on. "Ok! Now that the chocolate is done we can dip the cherries in them and put them in the fridge to cool," Ms. Jubilee said.

Sonata took the basket out of the sink and dumped the water out. After all the water was out of the basket she sat them on the counter. "So we just dip these into the chocolate?" Aria asked.

Ms. Jubilee grabbed a container and set it on a counter. "Pretty much. Adagio, can you got upstairs and make a sign?" Ms. Jubilee asked.

Adagio went upstairs and grabbed some markers and a poster board. After she sat down with the supplies she wrote 'Chocolate Covered Cherries, 10 for $3'. Adagio sat and stared at the sign making sure what she wrote down made sense. She picked up the poster and carried it downstairs. "I made the sign," she said as she opened the door.

Aria and Sonata looked at Adagio. They were covered in chocolate. "What happened in here?" Adagio asked.

"We weren't eating the chocolate if that's what you were thinking," Sonata said. Aria groaned.

"How dare you eat all the chocolate and not save some for me!" Adagio yelled.

Sonata licked the chocolate off of her face. "Sorry," she said under her breath.

Ms. Jubilee walked in the kitchen and grabbed the cherries out of the fridge. "You can stop eating the chocolate girls. Now lets go to the booth."

The booth was in the middle of the town. Even the center of the small town was still the busiest. Once the four set up everyone who say them immediately ran towards the stand. "I see you made your legendary chocolate covered cherries," someone said.

"Well I had help from my number one employees," Ms. Jubilee.

"Aren't we your only employees?" the three asked.
*************

After the fundraiser, Ms. Jubilee counted the money. "And we made.....,"

The three jumped up and down in suspense. "$1,000!" Ms. Jubilee said.

"Now just cut the bills in half and give them to Sugar Cube Corner," Sonata said.

"That's not how it works," Adagio said. "They get $500 dollars."

It All Ends Here

The next morning, the Dazzling's took the money to Sugar Cube Corner. When they walked through the door they could see the Rainbooms sitting in a booth drinking milkshakes. Sonata was determined and ignored them. When they got to the counter, Mrs. Cake looked up. "May I help you?" she asked.

"We are here to make a donation," Sonata said.

They Rainbooms looked over and eyeballed them. Aria pulled out the $500 and handed it to Mrs. Cake. Mrs. Cake stood in shock as she grabbed the $500. "Thank you!" Mrs. Cake said excitedly with a big smile.

"Wow!" all the Rainbooms said in unison.

"They really have changed," Fluttershy said.

"I told you!" Pinkie said. "Now Sugar Cube Corner is going to be renovated!" Pinkie grabbed the other Rainbooms and dragged them to the school.

"The redemption project it finally complete," Sonata said.

"The redemption what?" Adagio asked.

"That is a horrible name," Aria said.

"So what?" Sonata asked.

Before Sonata and Aria could break into an argument, Adagio pushed the too further away. "Do you wonder why the Rainbooms ran out like that?" Adagio asked.

"I don't know, but we should probably apologize for what we done in the past if we want to completely gain any trust," Aria said.

Adagio and Sonata nodded in agreement. The thought of what they have done to Canterlot High made them think nobody would accept them. They started to tear up, but quickly wiped their eyes before Aria could notice. Once they got to Canterlot High all of the lights were off. "Isn't it a weekday?" Sonata asked.

Aria and Adagio shrugged and opened the door. As soon as they opened the door all the lights cut on and a bunch of students jumped out. "Surprise!" everyone yelled.

The Rainbooms walked towards the Dazzlings making them step back.

"We threw this party just for you!" Pinkie said.

"Yeah. It was mighty kind of you to donate all that money to Sugar Cube Corner," Applejack said.

The trio started to tear up a bit. "Well this is a party! What are you waiting for?" Pinkie Pie asked. She reached her hand out for Adagio to grab.

Adagio looked down at Pinkie's hand unsure. When he grabbed it, Pinkie dragged the three inside. She lead them to a room decorated with streamers, balloons, with a bowl of punch, and a disco ball. Before the Dazzlings walked in the room they stared at the door. The Rainbooms gestured for them to came inside welcoming them to Canterlot High.
