A collection of poems about ponies.

Now All I Have is Regret

The worst part wasn't my new life
It was my old one
It’s no wonder I gave up

I didn't jump where I couldn't fly
I didn't wrap rope around my neck
and force myself to fall
But I might as well have
“I died for my friends,” I could say
But not really. I just gave myself up
And tried to make it look
Like an accident

Maybe I should have told someone before I left
Maybe I should have said goodbye
But that isn't the worst part
The worst part is I still remember

The one I loved but never said
The one I kissed but betrayed
The one I left

So now I only have regret

I try and find my way in in this new world
But I can’t forget the mistakes I’ve made
Am I bound to make them again?

This world is so different
And I look so different
I've trades hooves for hands
And wings for feet
but have I really changed at all?

This world is so dark
So I should fit right in
But there’s a difference between
A mood
And a reality

I expected death to close in like darkness
And take me from all I knew
But instead
It gave me all I knew as I joined the darkness
You could say it’s only passing from one world to another
But you can’t go back
You are gone in that world

And when you come through to the new world,
It takes all you have
Your home
You’re loved
Your direction

But it leaves your regret

Sedimental Love

Every year
Brings another layer of dust
To our little rock
And though we are surrounded by mountains
We know they will crumble
But we will stand firm
Because our layers go so much deeper
Than we remember
Than we can know
So even though we find ourselves lost
Apart from each other
Even if one of us dies
Even when they put us in a glass case
For all the world to see
And when the fire
And flood
And winter
And death come
Even if we forsake each other
Even after hundreds of layers of dust
Even though you and I will never understand
There is something I cannot lose
One thing I cannot forget
This small
Stone

A Beautiful Day in Equestria

It’s a beautiful day in equestria
The sun is shining
The pegasi only put a few clouds in the sky
And there's a slight breeze
And I know something is bound to go wrong
(It always does)
But it will be alright
We have enough

We have enough kindness
(Because everything starts when we start to see
And reaching out
Shine so much
Light)

We have enough laughter
(Because we make mistakes
And we can grow
But its best to
Forget)

We have enough honesty
(Because we’ve put up so many walls
And with every one we tear down
We get
Closer)

We have enough generosity
(How deep can this go?
It depends,
How much are you willing to
Give?

We have enough loyalty
(When I fight
I need someone
By my
Side)

We have enough friendship
(It is so much more than
I ever though it could be
Even when it ends ill carry it with me
Forever)

So even though the sky is black
And the world has gone to waste
We have enough
Its enough to give us hope
Perseverance
Love
Sacrifice
And so much more
So no matter how
Dark it gets
We have more then enough

Bright Eyes

Your eyes used to be so bright
What made them burn so low
Your heart used to burn so bright
Did it just burn up?
I’m not telling you not to listen to them
I’m just asking you if you trust them

Hope is rising like a bubble
Just hope it doesnt pop
The world is so dark
You were my light
Don’t go out

It’s okay to forget the ones you love
Because they won’t forget you
Though you're far away
I’ll be here for you

Just don’t go out

Teacher

I chose to teach
Because I loved seeing them grow
And I wanted to help them

Sometimes they end up cursing me
They forget what I’ve taught them
They leave, and I just hope
They’ll come back
I’ll leave the gate open
Even though they can use it for evil.
I just want to know they remember.

Even though her vision
has been blurred by power
I hope she can learn from the mistakes
She is about to make

I never know how they’re going to turn out
Did I teach them something
Before they were ready?
Did I tell them something
When it was already too late?
I must have done something wrong

But I know even if they turn away
They’ll have a second chance

Now I know that
I can teach because I love
To learn

Blur

When I fly
The World becomes a blur
And we finally see each other the same way
Both a blur

I fly faster and faster
And the world around me blurs more and more
What will happen when I fly faster than the blurs?
Will I leave everything I know behind?
Will the world be a blur forever?
I want to try but I can't leave them behind

Tears blur my eyes
I’ve been going so fast
And now I hurt someone
And hurt myself
Can we go back to before?
I just want to get away from here
As fast as possible

I’m too old for flying now
So I sit and read
My eyes are too old for reading
But I have glasses
To clear the blur from my eyes

Memories are leaving me
But i don’t know when they do
So I just have this constant feeling
That I’ve lost something
Important
I look at my faded tail
And try to remember
There were six colors
There were six of something else wasn’t there
And I had been a part of that

I want to go back
To when thing were clear

Rose

I thought there was nothing else out here
But there,
A petal
It circles me in the wind
And becomes a storm
Surrounding me with flecks of color
And I might just disappear
And leave a petal
