Sound Shock was a Changeling sabatour sent to disrupt the defense of canterlot in time for the invasion but he fell in love and abandoned his mission to live his new life.
Sound Shock, a changeling who wanted nothing more than to live a normal life.
Soon after he cut his connection to the hive to free and clear his mind from the evil of the hives queen, and to be able to live with his mind alone, he makes a life changing discovery.
Now without the hive and a normal life ahead of him he takes on the challenge of being an earth pony.
*small amounts of comedy and very little romance so don't expect a lot of that.*
In the Canterlot middle district was a changeling named Sound shock a sabatour sent to disrupt the gaurd stations before the invasion which was five months away.
Sound shock walked through the market after altering some gaurd routes which would cause confusion and allow more infiltrators into the city.
Soon after Sound started humming happily some stared at him but he did not mind because after a week in the city he fell in love and as he entered his home he locked the door and screamed. "SHE SAID YES HAHA." Sound yelled.
After two months of being in canterlot he fell in started dating a mare called Roseluck and after another two months he proposed which led to today in fact he was so happy he forgot his mission.

Roseluck walked into the bedroom plopped down on the bed and shook her husband.
"Hey Sound I'm going to work see you soon ok?" Roseluck said. "Mmhmm I'm heading out too just give me a minute." He replied.
"You might want to put your disguise on though." She teased. "Huh what do you..." Sound looked at himself and saw he released his disguise.
"Craaap." Sound moaned. He then put his disguise on and went for some juice and Roseluck followed. "You know most ponies would go to turn me in if they knew I was a changeling." Sound said.
Roseluck smiled. "Yes but I accepted you for it didn't I.... well I have to go someone has to manage the shop." Roseluck said. She then kissed her husband and left the house to open her shop.
Sound chuckled then left the house locked it then went to work. While walking he saw that a barrier rose up and he... being trained in sabotage knew that it was an anti changeling barrier if it had not been cast directly above him he would have been sent flying through the air.
So he decided to keep walking to work and continue his new life.
The invasion was roaring and Sound was asleep and Rose just in the next room when a magical burst of energy exploded and Sound was thrown onto the wall and he woke up quickly. "OW OW OW OW OW!" Sound yelled. Roseluck burst into the room only to see Sound thrown through the wall leaving a giant hole. "Sound! Oh my god please be okay." Roseluck pleaded.
___________*one hour later*____________
Sound woke up and his whole body hurt badly but he managed to take a look at his surrounding. He saw that he was in a cell and immediately guessed he was in the Canterlot dungeons. "Ahh buck....Hey someone want to tell me want going on here!" Sound called. He then looked at himself and saw he was in his true form..... a changeling. "Oh that's what." Sound said. He sighed then he sat down in the middle of the cell until something happened.
After a time a guard walked by then looked into the cell. "Oh good your awake. The guard said coldly. Sound stood up and walked to the door.
Sound sighed and looked at the guard. "What do you want?" Sound asked.
"You are to follow me for interrogation immediately changeling." The guard answered.
"Lead the way then." He said. Sound and the guard walked for a time until they reached the interrogation room. "Inside." The guard said. Sound walked inside and saw no one was in the room but him.
After five minutes the door opened and Celestia walked inside the room. "So you are the one that the guards were so shaken up about." She said.
Sound sighed. "Yep that would be me I guess." He said. "Shall we skip introductions and get down to business?" Celestia suggested.
"Sure why not go ahead ask away." Sound said. "Very well let's begin.....how long have you been here?" She asked.
"Seven months." He replied. "How did you stay inside the city after the barrier was put up." She asked.
"I was under the caster when it was first put up basically under one of the castles platforms." He answered.
"What was your mission?" She asked. "Sabotage." He replied. "Who were you disguised as?" She asked.
"My own creation." He replied. "Describe it." She asked. "Blue fur...green mane and tail..... Brown eyes......and a saw and wood plank cutie mark." He replied.
"Ok then that will be all for now." She said. "Hold on a minute." Sound said. Celestia stopped and turned around. Sound got up slowly and looked at Celestia.
"I want to see my wife." He stated. She looked at him with confusion looked away and started walking again. "I doubt you have one." She said. He looked at her in disgust then a guard came in to take him back to his cell.
____________*Five days later*____________
Sound started to become a little more feral through his time it might not have been long but he was changing and every time he was taken too the interrogation room he would not talk and when ask why he would not speak he said he wanted to see his wife and the response was getting more and more insulting to him. Sound had heard a guard coming and then the guard showed up. "Hey freak get up time for interrogation again you...thing." The guard taunted. In response Sound charged at the cell door and rammed it before calming down.
"Get out changeling." The guard ordered. Sound and the guard walked towards the interrogation room and soon after Sound started talking.
"The result will be the same guard you will interrogate me I will only ask to see my wife you beat me up then you take me back to my cell. He said.
The guard chuckled. "Yea well we have a..specialist when it comes to lies waiting so today we finally get some answers form your lying tongue...changeling." The guard said.
Sound and the guard walked once again to the interrogation room when they reached the door the guard threw Sound into the room and locked it.
Sound rubbed his head. "Ow what the buck was that for?" He said. He looked over and saw a mare standing there looking at him.
"Uh hi?" He said. The mare looked at him and pointed to the chair and motioned him to sit. "So I reckon your the one I was sent here to question?" She said.
Sound sighed and nodded. "Alright then so what is yer name?" She asked. "Sound shock." He said. "Applejack." She said. Applejack held out her hoof and Sound shook it.
"Alright then so I hear you have not talked at all since your first questioning I also heard you keep mentioning a wife so do you have one or not?" Applejack asked.
"Yes I do have a wife that's what I've been saying but no one believes me." He said. Crossing his hooves. Applejack looked at him for a time then spoke. "Can you change into a pony this just feels awkward." She asked.
Sound nodded and changed into his pony form. "Ok then what is yer wife's name?" She asked. "Can I whisper?" He asked.
Applejack nodded as she leaned in and Sound followed suit. "On one condition." He whispered. "And that is?" She whispered back.
"I want to see her afterwards." He stated. "Alright I'll get her but what is her name?" She asked. "Roseluck her name is Roseluck." He said.
Applejack and Sound leaned back and they sat there quietly. Applejack finally broke the silence. "So will you talk more if I bing her here?" Applejack asked. Sound nodded.
Applejack then left the room and told celestia that they needed to bring Roseluck in if Sound was to talk more. "Very well Applejack find this Roseluck and bring her here I want to know everything that changeling knows...." Celestia said.
________*interrogation room*______________
Back at the interrogation room something peculiar happened or somepony happened. "Uhh who are you again?" Sound asked the mare.
"Twilight sparkle and I have soooo many questions for you." She said. Sound looked at the mare in great confusion at the mare for she just barged in and asked about a million questions.
"Uh ook what do you want to know?" He asked and very suddenly he regreted that question. "Ok then what do you eat?" She asked.
"Meat emotions vegetables bread err basically a lot." He said. "Is it hard to transform?" She asked just about instantly. "No and yes." He said.
"How hard is your carapace?" She asked. "A little bit weaker then stone." He said. "How good is your magic and flying skill?" She asked.
"Average with both." He said. "Ook well a what about"....... Twilight said before being cut off. Sound sighed in relief. "Finally the nightmare ends!" He cheered.
"Twi what are you doing?" Applejack asked. "Oh nothing just research on changelings." She replied. "Ok well I'm gonna have to ask ya to leave I have to work." Applejack said. "Ok then I'll see you on the train then bye." Twilight said as she left.
Applejack walked in with Roseluck and she sat down after closing the door while Sound and Roseluck hugged. "I missed you." Sound said. "Not as much as I missed you." Rose replied. Applejack cleared her throat then Sound and Rose sat down. "So Roseluck I assume you know about Sound correct?" Applejack asked.
"Yes I've known before we married why?" She said. "Look you do know you could be charged with harboring a changeling right?" Applejack said.
"I'm aware i knew the risk I was taking." She replied. "Ok then Sound are you ready to proceed?" Applejack asked.
"Yes I am." Sound said. "Very well then." She said. "Is there another invasion about to happen?" Applejack asked.
"No and even if there was I would not know about it I cut myself off from the hive so I could attempt to live a new life." Sound said.
"Is there a way to tell a changeling from pony like a.. Detection spell?" She asked. "Yes there is." He replied. "Do you know how to use it?" She asked.
"Yes I do but I'm not teaching the sunbut upstairs how to do it." He said causing Roseluck to giggle.
"Well then that leaves one last question." She said. "And that is?" He asked. "is there a weakness to changelings?" She asked.
Sound sighed and cursed under his breath. "Yes there was but it does not exist anymore as far as I know." Sound stated.
"Very good wait here please." Applejack said as she left. "Sound are you okay?" Roseluck asked. "Yea I'm fine I just want to know what will happen to us." He said with concern.
__________*one hour later*____________
Applejack entered the interrogation room and saw Rose and Sound siting there. "Ok then you two i have good news and bad news." She said.
They both looked at her. "The good news is neither of you will be banished or killed and you will be coming with me to Ponyville to live out your lives.
"Woohoo" they cheered. "The bad news is however you will both be watched on parole be fined 140 bits per for bail for and well you Sound you will lose your magic and flying ability's and are forbidden from changing your appearance from other than your pony form and your real body." She said sadly.
Sound looked at Applejack with shock. "That's the best you can get I'm sorry." Applejack said.
Sound and Rose looked at each other then back at Applejack the dropped their heads down.
"When do we leave?" Sound asked. "Tomorrow afternoon." Applejack said.
"Ok then we will be there after paying the bail" Roseluck said.
"Uh Applejack are you sure they are coming?" Twilight asked. "Yes I'm sure Twi they aren't the type to hide just because of the price they must pay for freedom." She said
"Sooo.... How much was their bail?" Twilight asked. "280 bits total it's a little too much even if he is a changeling." Applejack replied.
Twilight just stared at her friend in shock for a minute before speaking. "Well at least I can ask him about changelings oh it will be fun fun fun." Twilight then started rambling on and on. "Fun for you Twi but probably not him." Applejack replied.
"Huh what do you mean?" Twilight asked. "Ask him yourself Twi." Applejack replied.
Twilight looked at where Applejack was staring at and saw Sound and Rose walking towards the station. "HEY YOU TWO COMING OR WHAT TRAIN IS ABOUT READY TO LEAVE." Applejack yelled.
Sound and Rose then ran quickly towards the train and stopped right in front of Applejack and Twilight. "Hey you two...uh we late?" Sound teased.
Applejack chuckled. "Get on the train it's about to leave." She said. Sound jokingly saluted her and went on the train followed quickly by Twilight who had a notebook with her.
"Let's get on yea?" Applejack said. Rose nodded. "Well it's not like I got a choice do I." She joked.
__________*3 hours later.*___________
Sound got up onto his bunk just trying to get some sleep and recover from Twilights barrage of questions. "Hey Sound you awake?" Roseluck asked.
Sound looked over and saw Rose staring at him. "Yes I'm awake." He said. "What do think will happen?.... to us I mean....you think things can go back to normal?" Rose asked.
Sound went into deep thought. After two minutes he spoke up. "Unless somepony figures me out it will be as normal as it can get." He said.
Rose looked at him then back at the ceiling. "Yea I guess it will." She replied. "Oh crap." Sound said. He facehoofed.
"What is it what's wrong?" She asked. "I have to answer Twilights questions for now on and I can't say no." He said.
"Huh why is that?" She asked. "Applejack told me herself she had forgotten to tell me in jail." He explained.
"Let's just hope her friends are a little more sensible and not as 'insane' as she is." Rose joked.
The Ponyville train raced down the tracks towards its destination with its passengers including....two elements of harmony twenty other pony's a changeling and his wife.
Sound shock groaned and tossed and turned all night long...but when day came he rolled off his bunk and his eyes shot open.
"Ow" he muttered. Sound looked around and saw that some of the other passengers were staring at him oddly. "What are you all starin at?" He groaned.
He then looked at himself and saw he lost his disguise. "Aw buck err heh this is not what it looks like." He chuckled. The passengers murmured as to what they should do but when they looked back Sound was gone.
"Where did it go!". One stallion yelled. "I don't know.....find it we can't let it escape." Another said.
Sound looked in through one of the train windows then went to the top of the train. He looked at the path the train was going and he saw a tunnel up ahead.
Thinking quickly he put on his disguise used an invisiblity spell then teleported to his bunk..
After five minutes of searching the passengers gathered again.
"We lost it....we searched everywhere." One of the passengers said. "What did you expect it probably teleported off the train to get away." A mare said.
The mob slowly dispersed as they walked away Sound could actually feel their anger when some walked by him. He checked to make sure it was safe then he uncloaked with his disguise on.
_________*one hour later breakfast time*___________
Sound walked into the dining car and saw Rose Twilight and Applejack at a table and he walked over to join them.
Sound groggily sat down and downed an entire glass of water with one swallow. "Morning". He said.
"So sound what's wrong?.....hangover?" Rose asked. "No......Twilights infinite questions." He replied.
Twilight looked away and whistled. "Yea yea I know you did it." Sound said to Twilight.
"So....how long till we reach Ponyville?" Sound asked. "Well judging by the speed up we had earlier thanks to a 'changeling' on the train we should be there In about three more hours." Applejack said.
Sound then looked away and whistled as well as Twilight
______*ten minutes later*______
Twilight Applejack Rose and Sound went to their bunks and waited for the train to arrive at its destination when an idea popped into Rose's head.
"Who is up for charades?" Rose suggested. Sound looked at Rose with an odd stare...he then chuckled. "Yea right you know I suck at that game." He said.
Twilight and Applejack chuckled. "Sure I'm game." Twilight said. "Ok then I'm in." Applejack added. Then the three mares looked at Sound who was saying something to himself.
"Sound you in or not?" Rose teased. Sound looked at her and sighed in defeat. "Fine I'll play just don't expect me to be good at it." Sound replied.
___________*five minutes later*___________
Applejack Twilight Rose and Sound were soon bursting out laughing. "Ok Sound your turn." Twilight stated. "Ok then." He said. Sound took position and froze with his hoof in the air one at his chest with his mouth open.
"Hmm a pony giving a speech?" Rose said. Twilight perked up....she got it. "Discord?" She asked. Sound unfroze and he looked at Twilight and nodded.
"Yes two points for me." She said. "Yep it's discord heh heh although didn't I tell you I stink at charades?" He said.
The three mares burst into laughter and Sound soon joined them.
__________*two hours and forty five minutes later*__________
Twilight walked over to Sound who was reading.
'Hey sound I wanted to talk to you." Twilight said.
Sound put his book down sat up and looked at Twilight. "Yes?" Sound asked. "I wanted to talk to you some more." Twilight replied.
Sound sighed then nodded. "Ok then begin the interogation." He teased. "I don't want to interogate you I just want to talk to you about changeling hives." She said.
Sound looked at Twilight in shock and shook his head. "Are you sure I mean I can't say no anyway but are.you.sure?" He asked.
"Why are you asking that?" She countered. "Because it's a very sensitive subject to me and well it can get really boring and it is very...very...long." He replied.
Twilight thought on this for a while...but her concentration was broken when she heard the train's horn.
"We have arrived at Ponyville." A mare called out. "That's us let's go." Rose said to Twilight and Sound.
Sound shrugged and started to leave the train along with some of the passengers.
Twilight sighed as she followed them unaware of an ambush outside.
__________*on the train platform*___________
Applejack left the train followed by Twilight Rose and Sound. "Ah home sweet home." Applejack said. "Good to be back." Twilight added.
Sound looked around taking in the scenery when he saw a bush inching closer to them. "Uh are bushes supposed to do that?" Sound called to the others. The three mares looked at what Sound was looking at and saw a bush that was cut into saying 'ambush' when Twilight relized what it ment. "Get down!" Twilight yelled. Rose Sound and Applejack quickly ducked but before Twilight could duck a pink blur flew out of the bush and crashed into her.
"Yourbackyourbackyourbackimissedyousooomuchyoumissedagreatpartyand..." Pinke burst out before Twilight put her hoof over pinkies mouth.
"Pinkie if I remove my hoof will you calm down?" She asked. "Yea right like that could happen." she thought.
Pinkie nodded when Twilight removed her hoof Pinkie took a deep breath then got off Twilight. "Ok then Pinke why don't you 'calmly' tell us what happened while we were gone?" Twilight asked.
"Ok we had a 'big' party for one." Pinke said. "What for?" Sound asked. "For defeating the changelings duh silly." She replied.
"Oh right I forgot." He said. "Pinkie we would love to talk but we have to get to the library that means you to Pinkie....Pinkie?" Twilight asked.
She looked around but the party pony was gone. "We might as well go there anyway." Sound suggested. "Yea I guess your right lets go." Twilight replied.
As Sound and the others walked to the library He thought back on some peculiar things that happened to him recently.....for one he had been captured instead of killed he was set free instead of a lifetime of imprisonment and lastly he was under the watch of two random ponies......what was celestia thinking?
Twilight was having a small conversation with Applejack and Rose when she noticed Sound was really quiet...again because for the whole time she knew him he didn't talk much exept when he was in jail...after taking a deep breath she walked up to him.
"So uh Sound what's on your mind?" Twilight asked. Sound looked at the mare and sighed. "Nothing much just wondering why I'm not dead yet....hmm unless you are going to kill me with boredom witch by the way will not work believe me sompony tried." He replied.
Twilight looked at him in shock and confusion. "So why is it whenever I ask you a question you answer without hesitation?" She asked.
"Because your princess told Applejack to tell me that I had to answer your questions... 'another wonderful' price to pay for freedom." He explained.
Twilight thought on it for a few seconds before replying to Sound. " Oh I guess that explains it easily enough." She said.
__________*four minutes later.*___________
As the group approached the library Sound heard a noise from behind him but before he could turn around it see what it was he heard a familiar voice form behind him.
"HI!" The voice yelled from behind him. Sound then rocketed into the air after being startled so much. "Whoooaaaa." Sound then started to fall quickly. "Well it beats being talked to death." He thought as he waited to be a black puddle on the ground....after a few seconds he spoke up. "Well come on already I don't have all day". He said then hearing a voice. "You could be a little grateful you know." The voice said.
Sound opened his eyes to discover the source of the voice when he noticed he was not falling anymore he turned his head and saw a blue Pegasus mare keeping him from falling by holding him up. "Uh thank you?" He said. The mare smiled. "No prob but why are you in the air?" She asked.
He looked down and saw a pink pony bouncing around Twilight Applejack and Rose. "The pink pony down there." He replied. The mare looked down and saw who he was talking about and when she did she burst out laughing.
Sound just tried not to fall and then spoke up. "Hey! Your gonna drop me!" He shouted. The mare stopped and slowly brought him down."sorry". She said.
"...*deep breath* or a chimacherrychanga." The pink mare then took a very deep long breath as Rose covered her ears from the onslaught of words.
Sound overheard it as he wondered and then said..."what's a chimacherrychanga?" He asked. "Noo!" The blue mare screamed dropping him and darting off.
Sound then hit the ground hard. "Ow.....ugh what did I say." He wondered. "You asked me what a chimacherrychanga is!" The pink pony exclaimed.
"Of course there is chimacherrykaumkaut chimacherrychanga chimycherry...." She then had her mouth muffled by Applejacks hoof.
"Don't ever.ever.ask.her.that again...." She said. "Agreed...uhh is she still going at it?" He asked. Applejack nodded.
The group then waited for the pink bomb to settle.
__________*inside the library two minutes after pinkie bomb explosion.*_________
The group including pinkie got to the door of the library and when Twilight got in she screamed in terror. "Twilight what is it?" Rose asked as she entered.
Applejack entered the library and discovered the source of Twilights screaming. "That's all really?" Sound said teasingly peeking in from the doorstep
Twilight looked around the library and the state it was in......there were books everywhere scattered across the floor and book shelves lying on the floor and the window was broken....again.
"Wow Twilight either somepony's had a party in here or somepony really hates library's." Sound said. Twilight however was in shock and could not get a full word out at once. "Bu...I....wh.....wha...." Twilight stammered.
Sound attempted to walk into the library but a barrier blocked him out. "Hey uh Twilight little help here?" Sound asked.
Twilight perked up and turned around to see Sound unable to enter the building. "Oh uh sorry let me get that." Twilight said lowering the barrier.
Sound walked in and started to pick up the fallen books with Rose as Applejack began to fix the window while Twilight put the shelves back in place.
"Hey Twilight you really should nail those shelves in place so they don't fall over." Sound suggested. "I'll try it but I doubt it will help." Twilight replied.
Rose looked up and saw Sound just standing there looking at her. "Um Sound what are you doing." Rose asked. Sound smirked. "Ok Twilight please turn off the changeling paralyze spell before I start to lose my disguise." Sound said.
Twilight looked at him with a confused look. "Um I didn't put one up Sound." She said. "Oh really that why can I not move at all?" Sound asked.
"I don't know but I can try." Twilight said. Twilight started to go through her books. "What are you doing and what...what is that doing here?" Sound asked. Everypony looked at what he ment and saw a purple and black flower siting on Twilights desk.
"Huh I don't know I've never seen it before....hmm let me call Spike he might know something about it." Twilight said. "Spike! you here?" Twilight called. Then a groaning sound came from upstairs and Applejack went to investigate. "Oh it's you Spike come on down Twilight needs to speak to you." Applejack said.
As Spike came down he noticed three others in the room with Twilight Pinke a mare and a stallion but the stallion was not moving from his spot.
"Hey Spike I have a question for you....uh do you know where this flower came from?" Twilight asked. "Oh yea the princess sent it as a safety measure or something?" Spike replied with confusion?
Spike looked over and saw that the stallion began to change from the hooves up. "Oh crap uh Twilight we have a problem." Sound said. Twilight gasped. "Quick close all the curtains and lock the door." Twilight said as she started to close the curtains.
Sound sighed as his disguise wore off and he stretched as much as he could. "I'm beginning to hate that princess of yours Twilight she really does not like me at all." Sound said.
Rose walked up to Sound. "Hey uh Sound guess what." Rose said. "What is it?" Sound asked. Rose smirked. "Your disguise is off." She said.
"Twilight I 'really' hate Celestia now." Sound said. Spike just stared In shock there was a Changeling! in the library and Applejack and Twilight did nothing they just continued working and the other mare was just talking to it.
Spike walked over to Twilight. "Um hey Twilight you know that is a changeling right?" Spike asked. "Hmm?...oh yea..I know he is one why?" Twilight replied.
Spike could not believe his ears there was a legitimate changeling and Twilight did nothing about it. "Um so what are you going to do?" Spike asked.
Twilight grabbed the flower and walked to the stairs." Well first I'm going to burn this flower then I'm going to finish cleaning this place up." Twilight said walking upstairs.
Spike walked over to the changeling and the mare. "Hey do you think you could help me out?" Sound asked Rose. Rose smiled. "Sure...ok then should I just push you or what?" Rose asked.
"If you can get me to the window farthest from the stair I might be able to at least move." Sound said. "I really don't think you should be allowed to move at all." Spike said coldly.
Sound and Rose looked at the baby dragon and chuckled. "What's so funny?" Spike asked. "Well for one do you have any idea what's going on?" Sound asked.
Spike thought on that for a moment...for one he really did not have a clue what was happening then realized the 'he' was the reason for the safety measure celestia sent.
"I have a small idea." Spike replied. Rose pushed sound over to the window so he could move. "Well then shoot tell me your idea." Sound said.
Spike backed up some steps away from Sound. "Ok then so far all I gathered is that you are the reason for the flower being sent and also for some reason Twilight and Applejack don't seem bothered so much with you." Spike said.
Sound stretched as he opened the window and turned to face Spike. "Also they believe you to be friendly when you could be ploting against them or worse relaying their location to your hive!" Spike stated fiercely. Sound put his disguise on and grined evilly. "Yes little dragon that is true but sadly for you...you know too much and now I must eliminate you for my plan to succeed!" Sound replied with an evil tone while sticking his hoof in the air.
Spike gasped and took a few more steps back. "So it's...it's true you are evil I have to tell twilight!" Spike panicked. Sound and Rose chuckled and then their chuckles turned into laughter.
"Oh my god that was hilarious Spike you should have seen the look on you face." Sound joked while plopping onto the floor.
Spike stopped and looked back at the two in confusion. "Huh so what you expect me to believe you?" Spike questioned. Sound stood back up and looked at Spike.
"No everything you said was insane Spike I mean no harm." Sound replied. Spike just shook his head and went to finish cleaning the library.
____________*Rose and Sounds room at sweet apple acres four hours later 9:49 pm*____________
Rose walked into the bedroom and practically jumped onto the bed in exhaustion then Sound entered the room and attempted to lay down on the bed but ended up on the floor mistaking it for the bed.
Rose spoke up. "Um Sound you missed the bed again." Rose said. "I know I know." Sound said getting up on the bed. "So Rose what do you think about the new place?" Sound asked.
"Good so far so long as you remember not it goof it by blowing your cover like taking off your disguise in the middle of town...we will be fine." Rose replied teasingly.
Sound smiled. "Well I will have to be careful not to use magic or fly but I will not screw this up." He said. Rose smiled back. "Oh I have good news for you Sound." She stated. "Oh and what is that?" Sound asked.
"Nightmare nights soon so you don't have to wear your disguise or costume this year." Rose said. Sound sighed in relief. "Thank the hive for that." He slipped.
Rose stared at him. "At thought we were past that.....*thump*. Rose looked around the room and seeing that nothing fell she looked at Sound who was just as confused as she was then she heard it again *thump* only this time she felt it and looked at her stomach and saw a bit of a bulge.
Rose looked at Sound in shock and came to a conclusion. "Um Sound I know you will hate this next sentence but um..I..I think I'm pregnant." Rose stated shakily.
Sound's eyes went wide as he froze then after a few seconds he slipped off of the bed unconscious.
Blackness was all Sound felt after all he did not handle shocking news well 'at all' for one thing another being his wife was having a foal and this could Seariously complicate things because he did not know if the foal would be changeling pony or halfbreed...there is no way of telling for him.
_________*Sound and Rose's house ponyville 8:29 am*__________
Sound woke up and found he was on his bed....either Rose or somepony else lifted him back up...or he is dreaming either way he decided to get up and get some breakfast so....he got up and went downstairs.
Sound entered the kitchen and immediately smelled pancakes and saw Rose cooking them he walked over to her and tapped her shoulder.
"Rose go sit down I'll take over." Sound said walking her over to the table getting an annoyed sigh from his wife.
"Sound I'm not helpless im pregnant you don't have to be so protective." She replied.
"I'm not having that Rose now listen first we will have breakfast then we will make an appointment at the hospital and find out for sure ok?" Sound said.
Rose chuckled then looked at Sound. "It's not me I'm worried about...it's you and the foal..uh or larva or...whatever the changeling equivalent of a foal is." Rose stated with confusion and worry.
Sound walked over to the oven and continued the pancakes then looked back at Rose. "Don't worry We'll be fine it's just that....." Sound's eyes bulged. "I just discovered a problem...uh how will we explain this to the others?" Sound panicked.
Rose quickly got up and hugged her husband. "Sound calm down....like you said we'll be fine we just have to stay calm and approach it carefully alright." She said trying to calm her husband down.
Sound took a bunch of deep breaths while Rose motioned the same actions. "Yes..yes your right have to stay calm or I will end up revealing myself in public and that would be horrifying....besides they would also try to take my horn and wings off but it would not matter anyway cause I only used them like what..four times in my whole life." Sound joked.
Rose looked at her husband and smiled. "Listen Sound I fell in love with 'and' still loved you after you revealed the truth ok? I would never betray you just because your a changeling....I'm better than that." Rose stated.
"You know most others would do it for a reward just because I'm a changeling....or because I'm different." Sound replied.
Rose put her mouth up to Sound's ear. "Hey Sound.....don't let the pancakes burn." She teased.
Sound's eyes bulged again as he realized and decided to just finish the pancakes before continuing the conversation.
Rose walked across the market searching for the groceries she needed to pick up...and as she walked she took in some of the sights and saw a building for sale and..knowing that the town has no flower shops she got an idea but decided to talk to Sound about it later so for now..she went on her way.
__*ten minutes later*__
"ok now all that's left is apples..heh maybe I'll see Applejack there." Rose said to herself.
Rose walked towards the apple stall where she saw a big red stallion running it and judged by the look of him she assumed he was Big Mac.. Applejacks brother...and got into the line.
After three minutes Rose finally got up to the front of the line then saw a special on the sign saying three for five.
"Six apples please." Rose said. Big Mac then grabbed six apples one by onethen handed them one by one to Rose then looked up at her and his eyes opened wide. "Eight bits..." He studdered. Rose chuckled. "That's not right here 'ten' bits....goodbye." She said walking away noticing the blush on Big Macs face.
_________*Twilights library 10:53 am*__________
Twilight was reorganizing her library when a door closing interrupted her concentration causing all of the books to fallmane Twilight let out an annoyed sigh. "Ugg! Yes?" She said turning around to see Rainbow Dash walk up to her.
"Wow I don't crash into your library and all of a sudden I'm the bad one?" Rainbow teased.
Twilight let out a sigh of relief. "Oh good it's just you Rainbow...umm did you need somthing?" Twilight asked politely.
"Yea can you put up an anti changeling barrier on my house?" Rainbow replied. Twilight paused but gave the illusion of thinking for a moment. "Uh yea just let me find it." Twilight said.
"So uh twilight you remember the new ponies in town?" Rainbow asked. Twilight looked at her and nodded.
"Ok then so do you find it strange that right after the changeling invasion two ponies just happen to show up?" Rainbow asked.
"Yes it is strange but don't worry they are not enemy's....you know what I have an idea." Twilight said.
"Yes?" Rainbow asked. "How about you bring the girls over I'll invite the new ponies later and I will put up the barrier ok?" Twilight suggested.
"Ok then I'll bring the girls over...oh and Twilight want to know somthing really strange? Rainbow asked.
"What is it?" Twilight replied. "When i catched that stallion yesterday I felt holes in his legs....I guess that's just paranoia but I'll keep my eyes on him later tonight." Rainbow said leaving the library.
Twilight continued looking for the book when she realized what she had just done. "Uh oh this will not end well." She told herself before continuing to search.
________*Twilights library 7:34 pm*________
Twilight waited for the girls Rose and Sound to come but while she waited she began to worry about what might happen for one Rainbow might attack Fluttershy and Rarity might scream and faint and Celestia forbid what Pinkie might do to Sound but to her demise somepony knocked on the door.
"Coming." Twilight answered then walked over to the door and opened it and saw Fluttershy Rarity Pinkie Pie Rainbow Dash and Applejack.
"Hey girls come on inside." Twilight said letting them in. one by one the girls said their hello's and afterwards the door knocked again and Twilight opened the door and saw Rose and Sound.
"Hey Twilight" they said simultaneously. "Hey come on in." Twilight said forgetting the barrier.
Sound walked face first into the barrier and Twilight who just realized this lowered it quickly while the other girls (excluding Rose) went to inspect.
Sound's vision was all fuzzy for a few seconds before he got up to his feet and saw four of the girls staring at him in shock there was a cyan one a pink one a white one and a yellow one after his vision was clear again he could only say one sentence that made sense. "What are you all staring at?" Sound said with a buzzy voice.
Sound just heard his voice and gasped. "Oh crap." He said. "Umm ok uhh let's not be hasty here." He said nervously.
Twilight decided to at least contain this. "Ok ok ok Everypony inside including you." She said to Everypony.
Sound got up and entered the building carefully just in case and immediately stood at the center of the room and waited for the barrage.
Twilight was really worried now cause at any second Rainbow would probably charge and whispered to Applejack to try and calm her down.
Rainbow Dash was ready to charge but a hard pull on the tail stopped her as Applejack stood in her way. "Rainbow calm down." Applejack said.
"I'm perfectly calm I'm not angry I'm not mad just want to put him in jail is that a problem?" Rainbow said in falsely calm voice.
"Yea well I am not moving until Twilight explains." Applejack stated. Rainbow took a small window of an opportunity and flew quickly around Applejack and charged at Sound but right after she started her charge Rose got in the way and pulled her to the ground. "Huh? what are you doing get out of the way!" Rainbow yelled as Twilight cast a silencing spell on the library.
After a few moments Rainbow was being held down by both Applejack and Rose.
Twilight looked over at Rarity and Fluttershy....Rarity had fainted on her fainting couch and Fluttershy was hiding under it.
"Rainbow Dash calm down and we will release you." Applejack said. A few moments past and Rainbow stopped moving then Rose and Applejack released her.
Rainbow sat down but still had her glare focused on Sound who had a confused look on his face.
"Ok then fine I'll be calm so long as somepony explains what is going on." Rainbow dash said.
Twilight walked over and sat down to explain everything.
"Ok then where to start....hmm well might as well start at the beginning." Twilight said.

"And that is how we ended up here tonight." Twilight finished.
Everypony looked at each other before Sound spoke up. "Their is one thing I don't understand though." Sound said.
"What's that Sound?" Applejack asked. "Why did celestia put me under your watch I mean you think she would have sent spys to keep me in check not...forgive me for saying this...everyday pony's right?" Sound said.
All six of the mares giggled for a time before Sound stopped it. "What's so funny?" He asked.
"We are the bearers of harmony Sound...I thought you knew." Twilight said.
Sound had a shocked expression on his face before saying. "Wait.....WHAT!" He yelled.
____________*Sound and Rose's house 8:52 am*___________
Sound was in the living room drinking some apple cider trying to make some sense of the mess he had gotten dragged into and as much as he hated to admit it he started to miss the hive and he sighed. "I'll never go back there no matter what." He said to himself.
Sound took another sip of his drink then walked to the window and looked outside to see a very empty town...strange the town always has at least ten pony's outside but now it's just weird so he finished his cider then put his cup into the sink and went back to the living room and sat down thankful Rose was still asleep leaving him to his thoughts. "Ok I've got one problem to deal with today then I'm clear..." Sound shuddered.
"Pinkie pie's welcome party.....ugh I'm doomed." Sound said to himself. He decided to get breakfast ready and wake Rose up so he went into the kitchen and got some eggs and biscuit mix out knowing it best if he left out the green goo this time.
Sound chuckled...he remembered that mistake well.....he had accidentally put green goo into the pancakes to make up for the loss of milk and when Rose bit into the pancake she had a look of disgust as she threw up on the floor.....Sound could not sleep on the bed or sleep easy for a total of four weeks thinking that Rose would take her revenge on him.
He decided to go upstairs and wake up his wife before doing anything else wrong like screwing up eggs and biscuits.
______*Sound and Rose's room.*_______
the door creaked open slowly as Sound entered the room and walked over to the bed to wake up his wife then lightly shook her.
"Hey Rose wake up..." He paused. "Or I will put the goo into breakfast." He teased.
Rose shot up very quickly upon hearing that threat and slapped Sound right on the nose afterwards.
"Ow! jeez I'm just kidding Rose." Sound said holding his nose. Rose rolled her eyes and smirked at Sound. "Oh I know I'm just..hmm giving you a warning." She replied.
Sound laughed nervously as Rose walked by and went down the stairs and Sound followed soon after knowing that joke was over.
_________*the kitchen 3 minutes later*_________
Sound walked over to the table and set the food down then took a seat.
"So Sound you looking forward to the party later?" Rose asked...but seeing Sound almost choke answered her question.
Sound whimpered. "Why would you ask that Rose you know that mare is crazy!" He replied.
"No she is not and besides." She paused. "You can't avoid it forever and as long as you don't drop the disguise you will be fine." Rose finished.
Sound stood up and nodded. "Yeah your right besides the last thing I need is those six believing I ran off.
Rose stood up as well and walked into the living room and sat down on the couch then Sound walked in soon after.
"Well we had better get ready and by we I mean 'you' Sound cause you need to put your disguise on." As Rose finished talking the bushes by the open window rustled. "Hey Sound did you open the window?" She said.
"Um no Im pretty sure I closed it before i woke you up.." He paused. "Regardless get down." Sound said cautiously walking over to the window.
The bushes rustled again but this time Sound grabed the eavesdropper....or eavesdroppers to his surprise.
"Hey let us go you creep." said the one. "Yeah drop us you chang....." The other one had their mouth muffled by Rose's hoof.
Sound get a look at their size and saw they were fillys then upon seeing this he pulled them in then shut the window and curtains.
Sound got a much better look of them...one had a gray coat and large glasses.
The other one was pink and had a tiara on her head.
Even though they were fillys Sound had a hard time containing his anger at the two and stared speaking angrily in a language that only Rose understood.
"I can't believe this! this is completely outrageous how dare they gaahh this is trespassing on my property I don't care if they are fillys they should know better then to trespass if I was not in such control of my actions I would brainwash them." Sound said with steam coming out of his ears while calming down.
Rose looked at him and spoke in that same language. "Are you done?" She asked. He nodded as he looked back at the fillys.
"Alright you two who are you and why are you eavesdropping?" He questioned sternly.
The two fillys looked at each other and shivered. "You won't get us to talk you know." The pink one said.
Sound sighed and shook his head. "You know what fine I'll let you go..then I'll find out who your parents are then I'll tell them you were eavesdropping on a private conversation then i can get the answers then from your parents so...You may go." He finished pointing to the door.
The two looked at each other and gulped then looked back at Sound and Rose. "Our names are Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon and we decided to investigate the new ponys who just happens to 'show up' a few days after the Canterlot invasion...now you can't tell me that is not suspicious." Diamond tiara said.
"Thank you for telling me..now get out." Sound said opening the door. The two fillys walked out of the house with their heads drooped downwards.

Sound and Rose walked up to the door of sugercube corner and saw there was no lights then Sound chuckled.
"Hmm I wonder if they will yell surprise when we walk in." He joked.
Rose just rolled her eyes as she and Sound walked into the bakery.
"Hey why are the lights off." He said playing along.
As soon as he said those words the lights flashed on and around twenty pony's appeared in place of the darkness.."SURPRISE!" They all yelled as Sound and Rose acted surprised then none other then Pinkie jumps out from the crowd of pony's.
"Hey guys you surprised huh huh huh?" Asked Pinkie in a fast and happy manner.
Sound nodded. "Yea we were I have one question though." Sound replied.
"Yea what is it?" She asked. Sound looked at Rose then back to Pinkie. "How did you get all of this set up so fast..... and why?" He replied.
"The answer is simple silly....your new to town and I always throw the new pony a party to welcome them." Pinkie said.
Sound just raised an eyebrow and decided to go sit down if possible so he could try to focus more.
________*four minutes later*_______
Sound was fighting a losing battle with his magic...for one he was running low just keeping focus in the midst of all the noise from the party. "I'll be right back Rose." He said to his wife who just nodded.
Sound walked into the bathroom to do his business with nature witch was weird considering changelings don't normally have to when he felt some negative emotions coming from the hall where the entrance to the bathroom is at....so he listened in by enhancing his hearing.
One of the voices spoke from the other side of the wall. "Hey I heard some rumors floating around that the guy who came to town is a changeling and has that girl under a spell." The one voice said.
"That's ridiculous Thunderlane....where are you getting this stuff." A more feminine voice asked.
"Hmm so that's where those negative emotions are coming from..Thunderlane huh?" Sound thought.
"I overheard it from cloudchaser earlier at work today and she said that she heard it from two fillys around ten o clock Colgate." Thunderlane replied.
Sounds eyes widened in surprise. "What the.... why is Colgate here?" He thought.
"Do you believe every single rumor that passes through you dunderhead.... *sigh oh well look just go...enjoy the party alright and don't do anything...stupid okay just leave it be." Colgate said.
"Fine but don't be mad at me when I say I told you so." Thunderlane spat. Sound felt a shiver go down his spine when he had heard that last sentence.
"I need to get back." He told himself as he left the bathroom.
While on the way back to his table Sound kept an eye on that Thunderlane fellow but forgot to watch where 'he' was going and bumped into somepony and Sounds eyes widened when he saw who it was.
"Umm sorry about that." Sound said. The mare looked back at Sound and her eyes widened as well.
The two simply stared at each other in silence until Sound spoke up.
"Uh so um can we go sit down...we need to talk." Sound asked. Colgate nodded and she and Sound walked over to the table that Rose was at and sat down.
Rose looked at them with confusion before saying something. "Um Sound who is this?" She asked.
Sound looked between Rose and Colgate and chuckled nervously. "Uh Rose uh meet my sister Colgate or as our parents used to call her minuttte."
Rose looked between the two "Hi." She said. Sound looked at Colgate with some curiosity.
"Hey Colgate I've been meaning to ask you somthing." Sound asked.
Colgate looked at him in return. "Yea Sound what?" She replied.
"Where exactly did you disappear to anyway?......cause last I saw you was before the invasion of canterlot." Sound asked.
"Oh well I ran away and broke my connection to the hive....duh." She whispered.
Rose pulled Sound in so he was face to face. "Me you big talk home NOW she's coming to got it?" She said threateningly.
Sound gulped and chuckled nervously then nodded. "Come on let's go." Sound said.
The trio all stood up and began walking toward the door while some of the guests stared at them and followed them out.
_______*outside sugercube corner*_______
Sound felt some bad emotions from behind him. "Sound?" Rose asked.
Sound nodded. "I know." He said picking up the pace and Rose Colgate and the group behind him did the same.
Sound sighed the he turned around to face the group of pony's behind him.
"Alright that's it why are you following us?!" He yelled. The group of pony's stopped and one stepped up.
Sound recognized the one as Thunderlane who then spoke up. "Your coming with us changeling." He said with pure anger.
Sound smirked. "Oh yea and how do you expect to capture me huh?" He asked mockingly.
Thunderlane just glared and laughed. "I don't see how you can beat the five of us by yourself you freak." He replied.
Sound's eyes widened upon hearing the word 'freak' and he started getting really mad.
"Hey Rose you think that I can teach these guys a lesson without to much feedback?" Sound asked.
Rose shrugged and said. "How should i know?"
Sound chuckled evilly and advanced slowly towards the five stallions and stood between the two groups and got into his fighting stance.
Thunderlane just laughed at Sound and took flight then aimed at Rose.
Rose looked at Thunderlane who was now very close and just took a step to the right then knocked him into the ground by punching him heavily.
Sound looked at Thunderlane and laughed. "Seariously you went after my wife? oh well if you can't beat her what chance do you have against me." He teased and in return got a death glare from Rose before focusing on the other four.
Colgate grabbed Thunderlane in her magic and threw him towards the other four with a lot of power.
Two of the four managed to dodge the throw and charged but the other two were not so lucky and took the entire hit and were immobilized by Thunderlane.
Sound was simply watching the two charge when one split up and aimed for Colgate while the other continued to charge at Sound.
Sound sighed in disappointment as he blocked a double kick from the one and punched him in the stomach and threw him onto the other three attackers.
Colgate however simply dodged all of the attacks from her opponent until Rose delivered a mighty double kick causing the attacker to be immobilized by pain then Colgate grabbed him and threw him onto the pile of attackers.
Sound groaned in disappointment. "Aw man I thought it would last longer.....oh well let's go." He said walking away from the five attacker.
Colgate leaned in next to Rose's ear. "Has he been like this ever since he met you?" Colgate asked.
Rose looked at her. "Yes he has been." Rose replied.
"We are doomed." Colgate said returning her mind to the world.
___________*Sound and Rose's house. 4:46 pm*_________
Sound walked up to his house's door and unlocked it then went inside followed by Rose and Colgate.
Sound sighed and walked into the living room then locked all the windows and door closed and closed the curtains.
"Ok Sound time for you to talk." Rose ordered before sitting down.
Sound sighed and dropped his disguise revealing his true form.
"Where do you want me to start then?" He asked also now sitting.
Colgate groaned before sitting. "Ugh please don't tell her about our rebellious phase Sound.............or I WILL kill you myself" she said.
He just nodded not wanting to reveal that either.
"Ok then Rose I guess I can tell you something.......hmm.........oh I know I'll tell you about me and Minutte's little......adventure." He said hesitatingly receiving a loud groan from Minutte.
Ok then it started a little while after we had finished basic training on disguises and emotion drainage.

A young Sound and Minutte left the hive's hideout and stopped.
"Hey Sound where are we going?" Minutte asked.
Sound chuckled and looked at her with a mischievous grin. "What's wrong you not going to hold up to your end of the bargain now?" He replied.
Minutte stammered and looked at Sound angrily. "I would not ever do that you big dummy!" She said.
"Ok then calm down and I'll show you." Sound told her pointing towards a small town.
Minutte's eyes widened after seeing the town knowing its inhabitants were mainly Pegasi and had bad tempers.
Sound chuckled and gave her some throw webs and told her to throw them onto the homes then cast an invisibility spell on herself and watch the reactions of the townsfolk.
She nodded and moved.
___________*ten minutes later*___________
Sound and Minutte sat on the roof of the well and watched the townsfolk argue.
"You did this didn't you huh!" One said
"Why would i do it to MY house then!" Another replied
What felt like hours pass happened in minutes as Sound and Minutte went back home in laughter.
"Oh my.....I can barely hold it I'm going to burst soon!" Minutte said.
"Yea I know right but still now you know why I'm in trouble all the time." He replied.
Minutte stopped. "What why?" She asked.
Sound stopped and looked at her and grinned. "Well." He said barely serious as an adult changeling flew at him and rammed him.
"ARE YOU SERIOUS YOU DID IT AGAIN!" He said angrily but was shocked to see Minutte there and ran up to her.
"Minutte come with me....now you don't need that trashes influence." He said lightly pushing her.
She looked at Sound before walking away. "I'm sorry Sound." She said sadly.
Sound stood up and took a diferent route back home after seeing the look of pure hatred on that changelings eyes.

Sound looked at Rose who was clearly shocked.
"Uh Rose what's wrong?" He asked.
Rose cleared her throat before speaking.
"Why did that changeling do that to you?" She asked.
Sound just shrugged as if it did not matter but said. "Probably because i was the lesser between me and Minutte due to my small amount of strength and the fact that I was always in trouble.
Rose looked at Minutte. "What does he mean lesser?" She asked.
"He means that in the hive back then he was considered expendable...come to think of it he was only kept alive because I had...... in an attempt to save his life.....chose him as my bodyguard." She explained.
Rose looked back at Sound and said. "Sound we are going to have a very VERY long talk."

*flash* "Featherweight did you get the picture?" A voice whispered.
"Yes I did now what Diamond?" He replied.
"Let's get out of here before they hear us." Diamond tiara said.
The two fillys ran off unaware that Sound had the real photo and was laughing like a mad doctor.
New complications arise.......also a prank with Pinkie Pie and Sound.
Rose walked up to the building and begun thinking on what Sound had said a few days ago.
"I was the lesser." He said. Rose shook this from her mind and walked into the building and saw there was some others here and decided to wait for her appointment time.
________*twenty minutes later*_______
Rose sat on the waiting room until a stallion came out and called her name.....and she got up and walked through the door as it closed behind her.
Inside the office there was the mayor of Ponyville and she gestured her to sit down and Rose did so.

Sound walked up to the counter and was greeted by Pinkie who had an eager look In her eye.
"Hey Pinkie......uh what is it?" He asked.
Pinkie bounced next to him and continued bouncing.
"Hey Sound listen my shifts over for a while soooo.......do you like pranks?" She asked.
Sound grinned madly. "Oh yea i pulled them all the time on my former co workers......why?" He replied
Pinkie burst into a fit of giggles. "Want to go pranking..huh huh huh?" She asked him eagerly.
Sound chuckled and held out his hoof which Pinkie bumped.
"Let's have some fun." Sound said. "Ok ok let me get some stuff." Pinkie said.
"No no let's use some of my stuff believe me I got some real good prank stuff." Sound replied motioning her to follow.
________*Sound's attic*_______
As Pinkie walked into the attic she smelled something funny and saw it was a box of cow dung with a air tight lid and decided not to touch it.
The attic was different to the others she saw for this one had a black paint instead of browns whites and grays.
She also saw a changeling cocoon and some other stuff but Sound blocked her view of it.
Sound chuckled. "Don't worry that's only enough to maintain that one cocoon and besides its for....well me Rose....don't ask and any intruders who feel like trying to rob me.....ooh there it is." He said grabbing a toolbox.
"Ok then Pinkie what you are about to see is top secret...do.not.tell.Rose.about.this.....ok?" Sound stated.
"Mm hmm cross my heart hope to fly stick a cupcake in my eye." She replied getting a raised eyebrow from Sound.
Sound opened the box and revealed a lever. "Well Pinkie pie would you care to do the honors?" He asked getting a nod from Pinkie.
Pinkie pie pushed the lever and Sound quickly retracted her hoof as the boxes floor opened and out came at least twenty little tables that were all held together by a single metal rod.
"Pinkie pie I would like to introduce you to.....the prank box mark thirty six." He proclaimed.
Pinkie gasped and looked at all the things on there like...the good old joy buzzer glue gum a slingshot with some sort of green stuff next to it an apple and a megaphone.
"Hey Sound hey did you do that with the box tables and all." She asked.
"I'll save us both some time and say a spell I put on it a while ago....now come on let's go." He said closing then strapping the box to his back.

Twilight was reading a book Sound gave her on changeling history when a knock came at her door.
"One second I'll be right there." She said walking to the door.
Twilight opened the door and a shock came to her eyes.....two Pegasi gaurds stood at her doorway with the same blank expression they always have.
"Oh uh...hello uh can I help you?" She asked. One of the gaurds spoke. "Twilight sparkle the princess has asked us to deliver this package to you directly." He said.
Twilight nodded as the other gaurd walked in and put down a cardboard box on the floor and walked back out.
Both gaurds gave a quick salute and flew off leaving Twilight alone once again.
"Hmm I wonder what it is." Twilight said opening the box with her magic.
Inside the box was an assortment of items a few books some posters a crystal that was pure white and a note.
Twilight picked up the note and read it. "Twilight I give these to you in hopes that you can make better use of them then I and with hope that you never need it as well."
Twilight raised an eyebrow and proceeded to look at the other items starting with the posters.
There were three posters in total two of them being missing pony posters and one wanted poster.
She looked at the missing pony poster first and saw that the missing pony had a blue coat blue eyes and a white and blue mane and tail. "Missing: if found please report sighting to the sheriffs office in appleloosa....name Colgate..aka.the timer. Reward twohundred bits.
Twilight looked at the back and saw some words written there albeit small they said. "I'm not missing."
Her eyes widened once she realized that Colgate lives in town.
She turned her attention to the wanted posters and one showed a changeling in the shadows with a very similar build to Sound's and saw the name and reward.
Wanted: the black fang of las Pegasis wanted for causing one hundred pony's to go deaf...reward for capture one thousand and seven hundred fifty bits.
She gulped and prayed that it was not Sound that they were talking about.
She looked at the Other missing pony poster and saw a picture of a party with a changeling in the middle looking like it was laughing on the ground.

Twilight smiled at this but somthing struck her....some of her friends somtimes call Colgate Minutte and this made Twilight wonder....could they both be the same pony?
Twilight shook these thoughts out of her head and looked at the books.
There was three books one was black with white lining one was green with purple lining and the last was red with tan lining and in order was.
The most dangerous changelings known.........the griffon changeling war.........and the tale of granite and the five great changeling kings.
Twilight put all of the items onto her desk when she heard a cannon fire outside and a knock came at the door.
She rushed over to the door and opened it only to see Sound carrying a lit torch and Pinkie with a cannon aimed at her with these excited looks on there faces when Sound lit the cannon. "Fire!' He yelled.
Twilight screamed at shut the door with her magic and darted to the right in hopes of avoiding the cannon fire.
A loud noise rang through the air as a stone cannonball broke through the door and landed in the wall.
With this Twilight had enough as she grabbed the cannon and turned it around on the two earth pony's then grabbed them with her magic and made them face her only to find out they were to busy laughing to notice.
"Oh my god pinkie that was a good one....hahaha that was gooood." He said laughing through each word.
"Yea did you see the look on her face....hahahahahaha." She said doing the same.
Twilight cleared her throat and the two looked at her with fear and chuckled nervously.
"You two are so doomed!" She yelled.

a knock came at the now rebuilt door and Twilight answered it and saw Rose.
"Oh good evening Rose can I help you?" She asked.
Rose nodded. "Yea Im here to pick up my husband....oh and by the way good news....I got the deed to that building I wanted." She replied.
Twilight gasped. "Oh my....that's wonderful wait till Sound hears." She said.
Rose nodded and walked inside the library.
Sound did not notice her walk In but instead walked over to Twilights desk and saw the contents.
He went through the books and saw the two missing pony posters and smiled at the memory of the beach house party.
He then looked at the last wanted poster and his eyes widened and he gasped taking a step back.
"Twilight where did you get these?" He asked. "Oh uh Princess Celestia sent them here why?" She replied.
"Well for one I don't care about the one missing pony poster for Colgate but the other one that was me and Minuttes beach house party ten years ago.....and this wanted poster......" He paused.
Twilight walked over to him. "What is it Sound?" She asked.
Sound looked at the wanted poster again then back at Twilight.
"That's my dad Twilight......that's my dad." He said.
Twilight was stunned but looked at the party picture. "And who's that?" She asked pointing at the changeling on the floor.
"That's my sister Minutte." He replied. Sound looked at the crystal before recognizing it and backed away.
"Sound?" Twilight asked confused. "I....I.....i.....i....impossible." He said.
"What's impossible?" Twilight asked.
Sound gulped then sighed. "That crystal is....well let's just say.......its capable of killing an entire hive of changelings." He said hesitateingly.
Twilight took a few steps back in shock then searched the books for any details on the crystal.
Only when she reached the last chapter of the most dangerous changelings known did she see a picture of the exact same crystal that was on her desk.
"Let's see the gem of Skitterback...said to be the last of an unknown resource found only in the desolate plains......this gem has a unique property.....capable of controlling the minds of any creature that uses a hive such as bees wasps parasprites and possibly changelings." She paused.
"Skitterback was considered to be the most dangerous criminal in the world for his usage of the gem which he used to control at least seven hive leaders and sent them rampaging through all the world....only when the Griffon kingdom Equestria and the last free changeling hive joined forces could they get close enough to capture Skitterback and shatter the gem.....unfortunately the gem was partially indestructible and so they split it in three one for the griffons one for the ponies and one for the changelings....although it's said that Skitterback was executed for his crimes his body vanished and is still missing." Twilight finished.
Rose walked over to Sound. "Sound was your hive one of the ones enslaved?" She asked with concern.
Sound just nodded and looked at the gem. "Thankfully this is just one half of it or I would be a slave." He said.
"Well Twilight what will you do with it?" He asked. Twilight sighed then grabbed the gem and sat down. "Hey Twilight why not bury it somewhere?" Rose added.
Twilight mumbled something under her breath and looked at the two. "Unless you want a thousand more of these I'd say no way." She replied.
Sound walked over to the door and opened it. "Rose it does not matter what we think Twilight was given this gem by her Princess and as such we have no say." He said walking out.
Rose walked over to the door as well. "If you want my opinion get rid of that damn thing so no one can use it against Sound or Minutte....or my foal." She said walking out.

"Ok Sound what did you do?" Rose asked. Sound's heart skipped a beat when she asked that.
"Um........playing a prank with Pinkie." He replied. Rose shook her head while chuckling and motioned Sound to follow as she walked towards the market.

Sound and Rose entered the store and examined it......one sales counter five rows of shelves for items and some tables to the left side for other merchandise and an office behind the counter.....the store itself had a dark green color exterior color and a slightly brighter green interior with a rounded wood roof and three windows on both the left and the right and two on either side of the door.
Sound smiled as he noticed somthing in the back corner of the right side......a small space with a removable forth window. "Hmm I can grow some good blackstone roses here." He thought.
Rose chuckled and tapped Sound on the shoulder. "Yes you can have the corner Sound...and before you ask...yes this will be a shop with flowers...but not just flowers." She stated.
"Alright then but i have just one other question." Sound said. "Yes?" Rose asked.
"What will we put on the shelves?" Sound asked turning around.
"Hmm maybe one row for garden equipment three rows of stuff like curtains and curtain rods....baskets for the smaller shelf......sheets blankets pillows towels.....shower curtains and the rods to go with them and maybe for the last one we put.....I guess kitchen stuff." Rose replied.
"Yea well for now we might as well go home the last thing we need is somepony thinking we are open or worse." Sound said walking out.
"Hmm your right let's go home." Rose replied walking out locking up then following Sound.
__________*Sound and Rose's house 6:18*___________
Rose walked into the kitchen and sighed......Sound had invited Minutte over for the night to have some fun just like old times he said. "And to annoy me to death." She thought.
The laughter of Sound and Minutte was enough for Rose to groan out loudly. "Hey Rose you coming back up?" Sound yelled.
Rose smiled...."maybe it's just the mild headache but I might just have fun." She said silently then walked up the stairs.
Very....very early delivery..........also the knuckleheads are back to make things worse

Rose sat down in the hospital waiting room but soon got annoyed.
"Ugg what is taking so long for this it's been over an hour." She said sighing and facehoofed.
A door opened and a doctor walked out of the room and walked towards Rose.
"Ahh......Rose it's time." He said. Rose shuddered as she followed the doctor. "Well.....this is uh......early." She thought.
"Ok then Rose please lie down and we can begin." He said.
_________*meanwhile*__________
Sound and Minutte were running to the hospital when they heard a piercing scream in that direction then they both stumbled and stopped and the two looked at each other. "Rose." They said in unison continuing to run towards the hospital.
After a few minutes of running somepony stood in front of the doors.....the two stopped and look at who it was.
That pony was a Pegasus with a black coat and a silver mane and tail.
"Oh great look Thunderlane I don't have time for this I have to get inside!" Sound yelled. Thunderlane chuckled.
"Your gonna have to get by me and my friends inside first." He stated.
"Minutte get inside and help Rose I'll get this dimwitt." He whispered.
Minutte charged up her horn preparing for a teleport while Sound charged and Thunderlane did the same.
Sound gave Thunderlane a quick uppercut with his left hoof and swiped with his right aiming to disorient the Pegasus.
Thunderlane managed to block the swipe with his left and threw a punch with his right only to receive a double kick from behind.
Sound was confused as Thunderlane just dropped and saw a cyan Pegasus floating behind him. "Dash? what are you doing here?" He asked.
Dash smirked. "Are you going to ask questions or are you going to help your wife? oh and don't worry about him he's out cold...let's go." She said.
Sound nodded and ran inside with Dash just behind her

Minutte appeared inside the hallway then turned around to see two more baddies one being an earth pony and the other a unicorn blocking the way and groaned. "Are you kidding me I mean come on what did we do to you huh?" She huffed.
The earth pony charged while the Unicorn charged up a spell. Minutte countered by firing a blast of unfocused energy at the unicorn hitting him straight in the face breaking his concentration then spun around the earth pony and hit him with a freezing spell.
The unicorn fired a magic blast at Minutte hitting her in the chest causing her to stumble..
"Ok that does it." She thought to herself. Minutte charged up another blast but instead of a light blue aura it was green.
"What the?......you know what I don't care." He said charging forward. Minutte's spell was ready and she knew this but waited till he was closer.
The unicorn believed it was a spell that took a lot of concentration so he fired a blast to break it and kept charging.
Minutte smirked. "Your in range." She stated dodging his blast and firing her own hitting the unicorn right in the face sending him into multiple barrel rolls due to the spells power.
"Stupid just plain stupid." She said continuing on her way.
_________*meanwhile*_________
Dash and Sound ran through a hallway close to Rose's room when two Pegasi showed up.
Sound groaned at this. "Oh come on are you kidding me!" He complained. Dash leaned in next to his ear. "I'll get the one on the right you get the one on the left." She said receiving a nod from Sound.
"Hey Dash if i use some magic...will you tell Twilight?" He whispered. "Normally yes but under the circumstances...no." She replied.
Sound smirked and asked Dash to watch his back for a moment. Dash got ready to fight when the two Pegasi charged and flared their wings as if to intimidate her.
Dash ran forward at the two but just before they were in striking distance of her she turned around and gave the one a powerful double kick sending him backwards but received a punch from the other one.
"Hey Sound I could use some help here." She called. "Ok ok I'm ready anyway....now dodge." He said.
Sound had used an enhancement spell to augment his strength speed and reflexes and charged down the hall with speed so fast that Dash would have to be in the air for and hit the Pegasi thug in the jaw with an uppercut and then finished it with a mighty double kick.
Dash stood back up and saw Sound panting. "Heh that must take a lot out of ya huh?" She teased.
Sound just nodded and continued forward and Dash followed.
Soon after they met up with Minutte outside Rose's room then they went inside.
___________*ten minutes later*__________
A pair of crying foals could be heard from the room indicating it was a success.
After a few minutes the doctor had finished up with the whole operation. "Congratulations Rose you have twins!." He said happily just getting a 'are you serious look' from Rose.
Rose breathed heavily before managing to regain her breath but before she could speak the doctor spoke up.
"You should also know that one is a healthy...Pegasus colt and the other........" He paused.
Sound looked at him curiously. "Yes and what about the other?" He said.
The doctor was just a bit petrified as Sound walked over and saw the two foals..
One was indeed a Pegasus colt and had a green coat and red mane and tail with a slight streak of maroon along the side of them and also had brown eyes.
Sound smiled and grabbed the foals and brought them over to Rose.
"Well Rose look at this." He said showing Rose the other foal getting a smile from her.
The other one was....different from the brother.....in fact it was because the goal ticked after the father....a changeling foal.
"Well this will be an odd family won't it." Sound said. The changeling foal was definitely a filly due to body.....but instead of having all of the holes in her legs she had very pony like legs Blue coat matching mane and tail as her brother exept the colors were reversed red streak and the rest was maroon she also had red eyes.....in fact the only reason the filly could be called a changeling was the small fangs the carapace looking body and the insectoid wings.
The doctor had finally gotten out of his frozen state and blinked seeing Rose moving to stand he walked over. "Rose I would not advise moving....besides you must be exausted after all of this." He said.
Rose just chuckled but soon it turned into an all out laugh. "Oh my..doctor that is funny...very funny.....but I've never felt so..alive!...wahoo!" She cheered but getting a strange look from Sound Minutte the doctor and Dash.
"What?" She asked oblivious to the fact she was in the air.
"Um Rose you might want to look down." Sound suggested.
Rose did just that and her eyes widened but she also felt somthing was on her sides and she looked.
Dash however was shocked because in her vision...she was not sure if it was just her but...Rose had wings!...and they were starting to look corporeal. "Uh guys when did Rose start getting wings?" She asked.
Sound looked closer and started to make out what did look like wings appearing on each of Rose's sides.
The doctor just fainted while Minutte was just plain confused.
___________*one hour later outside the hospital.*__________
Rose was busy looking at her wings in wonder and also checked the foals once in a while.
Dash looked at the town halls clock and saw what time it was. "Oh crap...uh okay guys I have to go and uh....Rose if you ever want some flying lessons and want to know how to take care of your wings better let me know...cause I got to go." Dash said then flew off.
Minutte who was carrying the filly was still confused but not as much anymore because she was still carrying the filly and could figure this out later.
__________*Sound and Rose's house 3:48*___________
Sound opened the door to him and Rose's room and Minutte brought in the Twins then set them down in seperate cribs one being a normal one and the other Sound's old one.
Sound smiled as he locked the windows closed the curtains and pulled Minutte out of the room as he followed.
Minutte and Sound walked down the stairs when Minutte spoke. "Hey Sound remember the beach house party?" She asked.
Sound grinned. "Of course I do I mean you me and Vinyl...heh those were the days." He replied. Minutte just nodded as she walked into the living room followed by Sound.
"Oh hey Sound do you have any ideas?" Rose asked running up to Sound's face now hovering.
"Um ideas for what?" He replied. Rose giggled. "The names for our foals silly I mean come on tell me tell me tell me." She said eagerly.
"Ok how about this....you tell me any ideas you have then I'll do the same." He suggested.
"Hmm ok I got it this is for our daughter.....ok so how about......hmm Aurora." She said.
"Uh ok only one problem that is a pegasu...never mind it's actually pretty good." He replied.
"Ok ok now you name our son." She ordered. "Hmm how about........Ratchet." He said.
Rose clapped her hooves repeatedly. "Yay our foals have names....I'll be outside." She said hastily.

Rose fanned out her wings and took flight. "Whaaaa hoooooo I'm back! Yes!" She cheered.
Rose passed over Dash and decided to work off some energy so she landed and walked up to Dash.
Dash was just sitting on a bench when she saw Rose walk up to her. "Oh hey Rose what's up?" Dash asked.
Rose stopped. "Nothing much....but hey you up for a race?" She asked.
Dash not thinking shook her head once then stopped....then grinned.
"I can't believe I almost said no......alright rookie ill take your challenge." She replied standing up.
Rose grinned as well. "By the way Dash I used to be a pro at this stuff." She said getting ready and recieving a confused look from Dash.
"What do you mean you were an earth pony." She replied.
Rose shook her head and looked at Dash. "I was born a Pegasus dash.......but that is not important....the important thing is.....the real me is back." She stated.
Both Pegasi went silent as they got ready and when Dash said go they both dashed off into the air.
____________*Sound and Rose's house 7:31 am.*____________
Sound groaned as his eyes opened to find himself on his couch instead of his bed.
"What the buck?...... Ugg what happened last night." He wondered. Sound got a look of his surroundings...the couch had no cushions the chair was upside down and the end tables met their end due to being chopped into four squares and there was no sign of Minutte or Rose anywhere.
Sound sighed as he stood up instantly regretting it as his back legs felt more sore than it ever did and it hurt with every step.
"Ok I'm going to find Rose and Minutte then find out what the buck happened." He thought.
Sound reached the stairs and decided to do somthing about his back first. "I might not be allowed to use magic or my wings but I'm sure I can make a small exception this time." He thought.
Sound had started using his wings to stretch them a bit then he used his magic and brought the backscratcher to him.
_________*upstairs one minute twenty later.*_________
As he arrived at the top of the stairs Sound walked over to his rooms door and opened it.
"What in the world?" He said with confusion.
The room was not as bad as the living room was except the cribs were up against the wall the bed frame was leaning vertically on the wall and the bed was filthy beyond reckoning with dirt.....food and......what looks like throw up on it.
But what really made Sound more confused then before was the fact that there was three figures underneath the covers.
"Ok that's it......WAKE UP NOW!" He ordered.
With this the three jolted up and covered their ears from the loud noise.
Sound was now more confused than before.....he then calmed himself. "Ok then so.....Rose......Minutte......Dash....want to explain what happened last night?" He asked as calmly as he could.
The three looked the worse compared to the house for one Rose and Dash's wing feathers were all ruffled and they all had food in their manes and tails while Minnutes horn looked like a dust bunny and their coats were covered in cotton dirt and some feathers.
Dash was the first one to break the silence. "Oh...hey Sound what's up?....ooohhhh ow...?now I'm feeling the after effects." She said.
Minnute groaned clearly feeling the after effects to and so was Rose. "Ugg how should 'i' know we got drunk at the same time remember?" She said.
Rose's eyes widened. "Oh.....please tell me we didn't....well...you know." She said.
Dash's and Minutte's eyes widened as well then they looked at each other. "I don't want to remember!" They said unison then looking away blushing.
Sound smirked and leaned in. "Aw look...lovebirds......well lovebird and lovebug...but oh well." He said laughing.....until he realized what he said and started repeatedly smacking himself in the face.
Dash gasped as she caught on to what he said and looked at Minutte who was glaring daggers at Sound...but felt Dash's emotions and looked at her.
"Oh crap...uh ok Dash just stay calm...." She said backing away from Dash.
Dash just looked down. "How long?" She asked. Minutte took a deep breath before saying. "Four years." She said feeling like she understood what Dash was asking.
Dash just sighed and sat up more straight and Rose walked over to Sound.
"Why did you come to Ponyville?" Dash asked. "Because of what was going to happen to Sound....I felt like if I was removed from the hive I would never know what happened to him." She said.
Sound was just....well weirded out by this. "Hey hold on a second.....I thought I saw you before I entered Canterlot?" Hey replied.
Minutte sighed. "No Sound I've never been anywhere near Canterlot my whole life....that was a master spy you talked to." She answered.
"Well anyway it was a dark night Nine years ago and Sound was forbidden from coming anywhere near me....but it did not work the other way around." She said trailing off.

Sound paced back and forth frantically. "Why would you forbid a brother from being with his sister i mean COME ON really?" He wondered.
A knock from his door snapped him out of it and Sound walked over to see who it was.......and he opened the door seeing the one face he did not want to see.
Sound snapped to attention. "Sir" He said. The changeling walked in and motioned for him to close the door. "At ease." He said and with this Sound did so then say down at the table.
"Commander?...do you have a mission for me?" He asked. The changeling commander nodded and dropped a couple of folders on the table and Sound opened them.
"Your mission is simple there is a train of heavily armed griffons heading toward snow peak fort...your mission is to do as much damage as you can without destroying it....forcing the griffons to either abandon it or use up a lot of time and resources repairing it...also you know what to do should you be captured." He stated.
Sound replied. "Yes sir I'll see it done." He said.
The commander smirked. "Good do this right and I might make that ban go away....see you if you get back." He said leaving Sound to get to work.
_______*a few hours later*______
Sound was looking at the last of the pages on the final folder when another knock at the door interrupted him causing him to mutter angrily.
"What in the name of the constant interruptions is going on here!......if I get one more knock at my door I'll.." he opened the door and saw Minutte he slapped himself in the face to see if he was dreaming...but sadly he was not dreaming.
"Um..um..um h..h...hi Minutte....uh what are you doing here?" He asked.
Minutte looked down at the floor. "May I come in Sound?" She replied.
Sound nodded and let her in then closed the door and sat down at the table.
For a few minutes Sound and Minutte sat in silence before Sound spoke.
"What is it Minutte...why did you come here." He said blankly.
Minutte took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "Ok....look the thing is.....I'm sorry ok.......I know I was wrong but it's my fault it happened." She replied.
Sound looked at her as if studying her to find even the slightest hint of nervousness....but found none.
"Minutte......I have a mission to get too....and I dont have time to reminisce......goodbye....here in case I don't make it." He said throwing her a small box.
Sound walked out headed towards the griffon kingdom.
Back in Sound's house Minutte was staring at the box then decided to open it.
As the box opened a small cloud of dust came out of it causing Minutte to cough....once the dust subsided she looked inside and saw only three items a picture frame a camera and a small bundle of throw webs.
Seeing the throw webs made her smile at the memory......she then picked up the picture frame and turned it around.
It was a photo of her and Sound both smiling with the only pony they could consider a true friend.....Vinyl and the best part was...is that Sound and Minutte were in their true forms and Vinyl did not even mind as she had a big grin on her face.
Minutte chuckled for a bit before frowning knowing they could never go back there even if they wanted to.
She then grabbed the camera and saw there was still a photo in it......she took the photo out and looked at it.
It was during their rebellious phase just like their days with Vinyl......except this one had Sound Minutte Vinyl Raindrops and two others although she did not remember their names.
She let a tear out before wiping her eyes putting the items back in the box and closing it then walked out of the house.

Dash looked at the floor in silence when Minutte finished the story.
Sound walked over to Minutte and put his foreleg around her.
Rose sat down with Dash and draped her wing around her.
________*three minutes later of silence.*________
Dash finally looked up at Minutte. "Colga......Minutte can you do somthing for me?" She asked getting an yes from Minutte.
Dash looked at her with seriousness. "I want to see it." She said simply.
Minutte got the feeling she knew what Dash ment and transformed....instead of the normal green flames Minutte engulfed herself in blue flames while Sound decided to remove an itch and engulfed himself in brown flames.
Dash saw Sound change as well and decided to get a better look at him.....brown carapace white hexagon like eyes and insted of a short spike like hair he had no tail and had a sort of fur like mane.
Minutte looked pretty much the same except light blue hexagon like eyes and a light gray carapace but had the same mane and tail color shape and length.
"Well Dash.....is this what you wanted?" She asked. Dash nodded but a question came to mind.
"Yea but quick question.....how did you survive?" She asked.
Minutte changed back then raised an eyebrow in confusion. "What do you mean?" She asked.
Dash sighed then rubbed her neck. "I thought changelings had to eat love to live?" She replied.
Minutte gigged but instead of a normal pony like giggle this one had a hypnotic buzzing sound to it.
Sound noticed this and lightly jabbed Minutte in the shoulder.
"Huh?.....oh sorry but to answer your question no we do not but...uh consider it like drugs.....it makes you stronger but It is....very very very addictive.
Dash nodded. "Hey uh Sound you got a spare room so me and Minutte can talk.
Sound nodded as he led the two to the only room 'not' damaged.....the guest room and shut the door when they got inside.
Rose walked up to him....concerned. "Hey Sound I have bad news." She said.
Sound looked at her. "Yes what is it Rose?" He asked.
Rose gulped. "Umm the foals are gone..." She said causing Sound to faint. "And 'he' was a sabatour?" She said slapping Sound hard.
_____________*Sound and Rose's house one minute later*______________
Sound was searching behind everything to try and find his foals who apparently are now missing to no avail.
"Gaaaahhh!" He yelled in defeat and then flopped onto the bed to sulk then Rose walked in.
Rose walked over to Sound and tapped his shoulder getting him to look at her.
"Sound I found this at the door....its addressed to you." She said giving Sound the letter who took it from her in his magic and opened it.
The letter read....."changeling if you don't want your daughter to die you will come to the lake north of Ponyville at eleven pm in your true form or your daughter dies....and if you call the authorities she will die instantly.
Sound's eyes had become fierce as he dropped the letter and walked to the room that Minutte and Dash were in.
Rose followed him slowly and Sound reached the door. "Sound....what are you going to do?" She asked.
"Going to show the foalnappers not to mess with my family....or they will die." He said coldly then opening the door.
Sound walked in to the room and saw Dash and Minutte staring at him while Rose went downstairs.
"Sound....do you need anything?" Minutte asked. "Yea......I'll help however I can bud." Dash added.
While standing there Sound had a blank expression. "Minutte.....Dash I need your help with something." He said.
"Sure just tell me what needs to be done." Dash replied. Minutte smiled for a second before standing up.
Sound nodded. "Ok then Dash.....i need you to get your friends....or at least the ones who won't get captured easily.....cause I have a feeling that we will need some help with this and Minutte.......we need to use our........combo." He said with hesitation.
Minutte gasped in shock. "Sound you can't be serious." She replied. "I can't be serious.....Minutte the foalnappers have my daughter this 'IS' serious." He countered.
Dash was just plain confused. "Um Sound....what combo?" She asked.
Minutte sighed. "Dash it was a.....thing me and Sound developed a while back......to put it simply it can make any living creature become deaf and insane if used at full power but can just make them temporally make them numb....as if they had no feeling in their whole body........a forbidden ability." She explained.
Sound still had a blank look on his face when he heard movement behind him.
Rose walked back in with a relieved face. "Sound I have good news." She said.
Sound turned around. "Yes Rose what is it?" He asked.
Rose turned to show her side then unfurled her wing.....to reveal Ratchet sleeping bringing massive relief to Sound...Dash...and Minutte.
Sound walked over to the sleeping foal and let some tears out but quickly wiped them and turned back around.
"Ok Dash change of plan can you see if any of your friends can stay behind to watch Ratchet?" Sound asked.
Dash nodded and stood up. "Yea I can see if Ditzy and Fluttershy will watch him." She replied.
Sound smiled a little bit then looked at Minutte. "Come on we need to make sure we can still use it correctly." He said.
Minutte nodded and walked out of the room with Sound following.
Dash said her goodbyes and went outside.

Twilight paced back and forth....why had Rainbow asked her to meet there with the others? "Hmm must be important......unless she just wants to get the girls together and talk......no it's definitely important.....and why had she asked Spike to be there too?" She thought.
A knock at the door broke Twilight out of her trance and she walked over to the door and opened it.
"Hey Twi whatcha call us here for?" Came a southern accented voice. "I didn't call you girls here....It was Dash." Twilight replied.
Applejack walked inside followed by Fluttershy......Rarity....and Pinkie. "I wonder what Rainbow called us here for?" Pinke said suddenly.
"Yes I was wondering that as well dear." Rarity added. "Oh uh...I Guess it's important." Came Fluttershy.
Another knock at the door came and Twilight walked over and opened it to reveal Rainbow and Ditzy.
"Hey Twilight.....is Everypony here?" Rainbow asked. Twilight nodded and lead her inside. "Yes but we all were wondering what you called us here for....is something wrong?" She asked.
Dash was silent as she sat down and Ditzy did the same followed by Twilight.
After a few moments of silence Dash spoke. "Ok now before I say anything about why we are actually here I had better tell you all the good news." Dash paused. "Sound and Rose had twins." She said getting some silence and then some light cheering.
"Calm down and I'll continue." Dash said calming Everypony down. Dash sighed sadly getting Twilight to raise an eyebrow.
"The foals are a filly named Aurora and a colt named Ratchet....but the main problem is......." Dash stopped starting to let some tears out.
The others...(save Ditzy who knows) all saw this and went to walk over but Ditzy stopped them saying to wait.
Dash took a deep breath and let it out. "Aurora was foalnapped." She said getting many shocked and saddened gasps from the girls.
"Twilight where is Spike?" Dash asked. Twilight decided to get an answer. "Why did you want Spike here?" She countered.
Dash sighed. "Because Sound and Rose need somepony to watch Ratchet while they go to get Aurora back....Ditzy agreed to watch but I was hoping that Spike could help.....also I wanted to ask if any of you would like to come with me to help get Aurora back with Sound Rose and Minutte." She said.
Twilight.....Pinkie and Applejack all stood up. "I'll help." Said Twilight. "I'm in." Came Applejack. "Ooh ooh ooh can I bring Gummy?" Pinkie asked eagerly.
Dash sighed and nodded then looked at Rarity and Fluttershy. Fluttershy looked up. "Um.....I'll help watch Ratchet....oh..uh..I..mean...if that's ok...that is." She said nervously.
Rarity looked up too. "I'll help watch him as well...besides they will need a unicorn with them...just in case." She said.
Ditzy nodded and stood up. "Ok then....oh and feel free to invite the CMC if you want.....Dinky has been wanting to play with them again." She said.
Just then Spike walked in. "Oh hey...what's Everypony up to?" He asked. Twilight walked over to him. "Well Spike it just so happens that we need your help with something." She said.
Spike looked up eagerly. "Yea what is it?" He asked. "Well you see Spike.....Ditzy....Fluttershy and Rarity are going to be watching Sound and Rose's son Ratchet...Dinky and the CMC and they were wondering if you would like to help" she explained.
Spike went into deep thought. "Hmm lets see I wanted something important to do and this is really important...also on the plus side Rarity will be there...and I like Fluttershy....I don't really know Ditzy.....but I can't let them down." He thought.
Spike looked up. "Ok I'll help." He said. Dash smirked then stood up. "Ok.....anypony who is going to help get Aurora back meet me at the lake north of Ponyville at ten thirty." She said then she left the library.
Fluttershy gulped. "Um..I..uh hope Sound and Rose are ok." She said.

a large group walked up then stopped on one side of the lake waiting for the other group to arrive.
Then a smaller group showed up and stopped on the other......and on the side facing away from the lake was Dash...Twilight....Pinkie and Applejack.
Dash hovered near Twilight. "Hey Twi....can you help us hear them?" Dash asked. Twilight nodded and cast a spell on the group.
Over in the smaller group Sound had many thoughts going through his mind when Minutte walked over to him and put her hoof on his shoulder.
"Sound calm down....we can do this." She said. Sound smiled a bit. "Rose you know what to do right?" He asked.
"Yea I know....make that distraction Dash......and I'll do the rest." She said.
Dash...having heard her motioned the others to move in.
Sound stared at the larger group with anger for a minute before one of them stepped forward.
"Changeling come forward now....or the foal dies." the one in the front said. Sound thought. "Hmm that one sounds like a male so.....could it be Thunderlane?......I would not doubt it." He thought to himself.
Sound walked forward with an icy glare while building up his magic for the combo.
Another member of the group stepped forward but this one was carrying Aurora.
Sound had a slight sense of similarity come from the one who walked up.
"Changeling......no sudden movements.....understand?" The stallion who seemed to be the leader said blankly.
The other one walked past Sound and smirked stopping Sounds movement realizing it was a unicorn mare. "I know what your going to do.....give me a few seconds to get safe." She whispered showing her whole face.
Sound's eyes widened as he realized who it was.....a mare with a white coat and an electric blue mane. "Vinyl.....what are you?..." He said before getting silenced by her.
"Quiet...now listen Raindrops....Sparkler and Blast shell are among them just start the spell and they will keep those thugs from doing anything...ok?" Vinyl explained.
"But Vinyl...who is the leader.....is it Thunderlane." He asked getting a nod from Vinyl.
Vinyl nodded and continued to walked towards the Rose and Minutte.
Sound smirked a started his spell......the spell was invisible to Everypony except Minutte who knew it was the signal and tapped Rose to get ready and begun her half of the spell.
The leader of the thugs finally noticed the spell. "They are attacking...KILL THEM ALL!" He shouted.
While most of the thugs did in fact charge three of them started to attack some of them.
Thunderlane heard something wrong behind him and saw that some of his henchponys were fighting each other.
"What are you doing you fools the group over there is our enemy not each other!" He shouted.
Over in the tree Dash Twilight Applejack and Pinkie pie were moving in when Dash stopped them. "Ok Pinkie you make a distraction to lead some of them over here...ok?" She said.
"Ok let me get out my cannon." Pinkie said pulling out a large cannon causing Twilight to almost go mad.
"Twilight get ready." Dash said then telling Pinkie to fire.....a loud bang roared in the air as Pinkie fired the cannon which launched a stone cannonball that zoomed right over a few thugs heads making them look in their direction.
Over by Sound Minutte and Rose.
Vinyl walked up to Rose who looked like she was ready to pounce when Minutte stopped her.
"Long time no see Minutte.....miss me?" Vinyl teased giving Aurora to Rose in her magic.
Minutte smirked. "Yea but still......ugh...let me finish the spell." She said breathing heavily.
Vinyl walked over to Minutte then charged up her horn and transferred some of her magic to her.
Sound however did not have that luck as it was taking a lot of power for him to keep it up when he felt a thud indicating that the spell was ready and fired.
Over by Thunderlane.
After Raindrops Sparkler and Blast shell took down some thugs they ran off but Thunderlane told them not to bother and just to charge when they all heard a loud bang.
A cannonball flew right past some of the thugs and they charged in that direction when another bang was heard......softer but still loud enough for Thunderlane to look in that direction.
What was seen was horrifing to Thunderlane.....in his eyes alone it looked like one million changelings were charging for him causing him to scream in fear.
In Sound Rose and Minutte's eyes all they saw was all of the thugs cowering in fear and then fleeing for their lives......a comical sight.
Vinyl however walked up to Thunderlane and immobilized him with her magic while he was still petrified. "You....have a lot of explaining to do." She said coldly.

Rose walked into the attic after she brought Ratchet home and fed both him and Aurora.
Sound was standing watch over the troublesome Thunderlane who was encased in a cocoon.
"It's amazing really....how much two little fillys can do just by starting a rumor." Sound said to no pony in particular.
Rose walked up next to him. "Yea I know....it's really strange though.....why would he believe every rumor that he hears.....unless his mind was tampered with." She replied.
Sound sighed and walked away. "At least our foals are home." He said walking down the stairs.

Minutte was sitting down on the bed silently singing to herself while Dash looked out the window. "You know Minutte.....I would understand it if you didn't want me to tell my friends about you....but what I don't get is why you say that you don't care if I do or not." Dash said.
Minutte sighed. "Dash listen...if you tell them I won't hold it against you if you do.....even if it ends with me in chains....I mean I've known you for years and you just now found out.....it's better this way....do what you like....just don't give me a sob story or say anything cheesy ok?" She replied.
Dash nodded and opened the window. "I need to think.......I'll see you Minutte." She said flying out the window.

Rose walked into her new store and saw that the store was stocked entirely 'and' completely organized.
She smiled then set the sign to open and walked over to the sales counter.
"Well.....this will be interesting.......I can tell that much.

Twilight sat on the couch reading the most dangerous changelings known book and was now on the chapter where the changeling in the book lived around a hundred to two hundred years ago.....when she spotted one that was exactly one thousand years ago.
She looked at it and saw a picture below and was shocked at what she saw.
The picture had a changeling that looked exactly like.........Sound.
"Oh no...........*gulp*....this changeling's name is not known but has been called the incinerator for almost burning the whole world in a single day." She said to herself.
Twilight silently hoped that it was not Sound and looked at the picture again and sighed in relief.....for the changeling in the picture had black eyes Instead of blue ones.
Just then Twilight heard hoof steps in front of her and lowered the book.....to reveal Minutte making her jump. "Hey Twilight......sorry for scaring you.....I see you found Sound's ancestor....Black bone." Minutte said then sat down next to Twilight.
Twilight looked at the picture. "So that's Sounds ancestor huh......I geuss that's why they look so similar." She said.
Minutte nodded and grabbed the book. "Yep and it's also why Sound was hated by the hive.....you can't be related to a ancient evil and not be hated.....they all thought he would follow in his hoofsteps....but he never did." She said.
Twilight looked at her curiously. "How do you know all that?" Twilight asked.
Minutte smiled. "Let's just say I've known Sound for a VERY long time Twilight beyond that......it's not my place to say....ask Sound....Rose or Dash if you want to know more." Minutte stated standing up then walking out.
Twilight looked down at the book again before quickly looking up again. "Wait did she just say...Dash?" She said with confusion.
____________*one week later Sound's attic 4:18 am.*___________
Sound walked into his attic and then walked to the left towards a large black chest.
"It's been a while......oh well.....it's time to open it anyway." He said to himself then unlocked the chest.
When Sound unlocked the chest another lock was revealed but this one had a seal.
The seal was a small green outlined triangle with a white colored changeling on it.
Sound looked at it for a time before speaking changeish.
"Skia hos yeka shsass." He said getting the seal to open.
Sound lifted the lid of the chest to reveal a large tome....after looking at it for a few seconds Sound opened the tome and went to the hundredth and forty eighth page.
"Hmm lets see....aha here it is.......creating a hive mind without a queen and without concenquenses such as.....controlling the other members killing the other member or forcibly seeing the memories of the other members.....hmm lets see.....willing participants.......someone with enough power to sustain the strain of making it.........and lastly.......the blood of three species......buck." Sound said to himself.
Sound looked over to the cocoon and saw Thunderlane looking right at him. "What are you staring at?" He said.
Thunderlane's eyes widened and then looked away slowly.
Sound locked the chest then walked out of the attic.
___________*Sound and Rose's house 5:31 pm.*__________
Giggling rang through the house as Aurora buzzed through the living room.
Rose however was not having so much fun and ran up to Sound. "Hey Sound.....help me out here." She said breathing heavily.
Sound just chuckled then walked in the filly's path and tapped Aurora's wings right on the muscle causing her to fall asleep.
Rose just stared in shock and walked up to Sound. "How did you do that?" She asked.
Sound picked up Aurora in his magic. "Well it's a certain.......weakness to the changelings......and before you try it just know it does not affect the male changelings....just the female ones." He said.
Rose picked up the sleeping filly and held her with her wings. "Why is that there anyway?.....and how did you find out about it?" She asked.
Sound motioned Rose to follow him and walked to the stairs. "Well for one the weakness is there to take out insane changelings...also if you are wondering why none of chrysalis's changelings did this is because she had full control over them.....as for how I found out....well let's just say I found out about it during me and Minutte's rebellious phase at the after party that me Minutte and Vinyl were at." He explained.
Rose reached the top of the stairs and walked towards the guest room. "Well are you going to tell me about it?" She asked.
After reaching the door Sound sighed then nodded. "Sure....besides that is actually the reason I was forbidden from seeing Minutte." He said walking into the room.
Rose followed and put Aurora in her crib. "Why is that?" She asked.
"Well for one the entire beach town knew what we were and the fact that the number one law of changeling society is never reveal what you are...and the fact that it was my idea did not help at all." He explained.
__________*thirteen years ago Sound Vinyl and Minutte's beach home.*_________
Vinyl walked into the main room where Sound was facing Minutte in chess and sat down next to him.
"Sound....why are playing chess......you stink at it." Vinyl said. Sound looked at her for a second then back at the board. "Shh........hmmm....check." Sound said putting the castle four squares away from the king.
Minutte sighed and put her bishop in the row to block the check.
Sound moved his knight and took the bishop. Minutte looked at his side of the board and sighed again then moved her queen onto the row that Sounds king was on.
"Checkmate." Minutte claimed. Sound looked at the board and his eyes widened....there on the board was a perfect lol.
"But....wha...how...did....gahhhhh." Sound gave up and fell backwards.
Vinyl however was laughing very very hard rolling back and forth on the floor before stopping and wiping a tear from her eye.
Minutte looked at the clock and saw that it was nearly four fifty seven pm. "Hey we might want to get ready for the party." She suggested.
Vinyl and Sound both looked at the clock and nodded when they saw the time and walked towards Minutte then they huddled.
"Ok Sound you get the drinks...Vinyl you get the music and I'll get the room cleaned up." Minutte said getting nods from the others.
Sound walked to the cellar door then stopped to look back. "And I'll get my camera as too." He said getting a groan from Minutte.

Sound and Minutte were sitting down at the table having a drinking contest after Vinyl won hers with Sparkler.
Minutte took another drink at the exact same time Sound did and held in some throw up.
Sound however just fell backwards from too much alcohol before his head shot up due to him having an idea.
"He...Hey Everypony.....lets.....lets take a group shot......o...ok?" He said drowsily getting a cheer and a bunch of agreements in response.
All of the guests grouped up and looked in the direction of the camera facing them.
Sound let out some chuckles as he held the camera.......somewhat.
Two of the guests got a small table out and put the camera on it then returned to the group.
Sound charged up his magic and then aimed it at the camera........and right when Sound went to push the button Minutte fell over and started laughing before the camera took the picture.
__________*two hours later*__________
Minutte walked over to the table and started putting all the trash into the trash bag when the alcohol got to her and she started to get very hyper.
Sound had just walked in on her and soon regreted doing so as Minutte lunged at him and began to bounce on him saying random things at a speed that puts lightning to shame.
After a few moments of bouncing Minutte flew around the house quickly multiple times before Vinyl came in and saw her.
"Uh Sound...is something wrong with Minutte?" She asked getting a shrug from Sound before Minutte noticed her and lunged at her.
Vinyl soon found herself flailing her hooves around until one time her hoof ran over Minutte's wing muscle and soon the female changeling was sound asleep on top of Vinyl.
Sound walked over to her and picked Minutte up in his magic with some help from Vinyl and lifted her off of Vinyl and together they moved Minutte to her bed.
"Thanks......what happened?" Vinyl asked. Sound walked over to Minutte and raised and eyebrow......he then moved his hoof over to her wing muscle and tapped it and just as Minutte woke up she fell asleep again.
"Hmm I geuss touching her wing muscle puts her to sleep.....who knew." Sound said and soon feeling something tapping 'his' wing.
Vinyl raised an eyebrow. "Hmm must only run through the female changelings." She wondered.
Sound nodded. "I think we should let her rest......after all she was the most hammered out of Everypony." He suggested pulling Vinyl out of the room.

Sound had finished telling the story. "And that was what happened." He ended.
Rose looked at Aurora. "Do you think she will be able to build a resistance to it?" She asked.
Sound looked at her and nodded. "Of course she can....Minutte did it...so why can't she." He said happily.
After covering Aurora Rose looked at Sound. "So.....what do we do now?" She asked.
"Well for one we raise our foals right....and if necessary I'll teach Aurora everything I know about changeling martial arts and how to do all those other things." Sound said then he left the room.
Rose looked at the two sleeping foals and smiled then she left the room as well.
__________*Sound's attic*__________
Sound walked up to Thunderlane and knelt down. "You know if you hadn't gone after my family you would have noticed........we did absolutely nothing to you or the pony lands......but now.....I'm going to have to remove all of the memories you have of this house.......because if I don't you will just use everything you overheard against us......and frankly you have got to stop this stupid game." Sound paused.
"Because here is the funny part Thunderlane......I'm actually here under royal watch.......and because of you I'm in very big trouble......oh well it does not help that Celestia is after my head.....you are going to have to forget that too." Sound finished and then started the spell causing Thunderlane to fall asleep.
_________*twenty minutes later*__________
Sound finished the spell and smirked he then teleported Thunderlane and himself to the lake where he captured Thunderlane and dropped him on the ground then he left.
Dash and Scootaloo introduce a friend.........More questions arise.
Boredom.....that was all Minutte felt while she sat on her couch.
A week and a half ago Dash had gone away for a week with her sister Scootaloo due to their house needing repairs.
They had gotten back around a week ago but Dash only entered town....once and that was to talk to Twilight.
Minutte sighed as she looked out the window.....from what she heard Dash and Scootaloo had brought a friend home with them who was around Scootaloo's age and apparently Twilight attacked him.
Minutte decided to go outside to stretch her legs....besides it was hearths warming eve and she had to help some how..........Minutte stood up then she walked outside.

the cold winter air breezed passed Minutte's face causing her to shiver but regardless she walked down the stairs then started walking towards Sound and Rose's house to see how they were doing.
Minutte saw somepony leaning against a buildings wall staring right at her and then the figure started to walk towards her.
Another cold breeze blew past Minutte's face as she kept her eyes on the ever shrinking figure.
Finally the figure reached Minutte and stopped and that's when Minutte got a look at the pony........it was a small Pegasus colt with a discolored blood red coat brown streak down the middle of his mane and tail the left side was pitch black and the right side was apocoliptic Fire red.....and he had a discolored dark blood red eye and a forest green eye.....he also had some sort of Fireball and storm cloud cutie mark.
The colt spoke. "Let me geuss you are wondering why I was staring at you right?" He said plainly.
Minutte nodded. "Yea i am you can't just stare at somepony without getting a weird look." She said.
The colt laughed a bit letting out some weird emotions that Minutte shuddered when she felt them.
"yea well want to know something?" The colt said. Minutte shrugged and the colt leaned in. "I know what you are.......don't worry I have no reason to hate you." He whispered making Minutte's eyes widen.
Minutte back up a bit. "How do you know?" She demanded.
"I'm not easy to fool......besides to me...your disguise is non existent."the colt said walking away.
Minutte walked forward toward him. "Hey wait.....who are you?" She asked. The colt turned around. "Oh right sorry.....my name is Storm.......see ya." He said walking off.
Minutte looked at him for a moment then turned around and walked towards Sound and Rose's house.
____________*Sound and Rose's house 2:17 pm*__________
Minutte walked inside and saw a filly and a colt running around the house when Rose walked up to Minutte.
"Hey Minutte......uh.....quick question......do changelings usually grow up so fast?" Rose asked.
Minutte nodded and then sat down at the bottom of the stairs. "They do actually at least until this part of their life.....they stay a foal for a week and then they age up until they reach eleven years old......they age quickly by the way and then they age normally when they reach it......and it looks like they did." She said.
Aurora and Ratchet ran up to Minutte and Rose. "Happy hearths warming aunt Minutte." They said in unison.
Minutte smiled and ruffled their manes. "Yea you too........so where is Sound at?" She asked.
Rose cleared her throat. "He's in his attic working on something......I think he won't be down for a while." She said.
Minutte nodded and walked up the stairs heading to the attic.

Sound rummaged through some of his boxes looking for a certain item when Minutte walked up to his shoulder and tapped it causing him to jump in response.
"Sound I have to tell you something." Minutte said. Sound sat down on his chair the waited for her to speak. "Sound..........I was found out." Minutte said with worry making Sound gasp in surprise.
"How.......you are the better one with disguises between us." Sound asked in disbelief. Minutte shrugged. "I don't know how.....it was somepony called Storm.....apparently he could see right through my disguise." She explained.
Sound sat still in silence until Rose came up and called them. "Sound......Minutte.....Dash is here with Scootaloo........they want to introduce you to somepony." She said.
Sound and Minutte stood up and walked downstairs.

Dash was sitting down on the couch when Aurora and Ratchet ran up to her.
"Hey Dash......who is......he?..." Aurora asked Dash pointing towards Storm.
Dash looked at Storm and shook her head while chuckling. "'He' Aurora is my little brother....Storm." She replied.
Aurora blushed when she looked at him again but Ratchet did a low growl.
Storm however did not notice as he was staring at a photo.......the beach house party photo to be precise.
As he stared he saw how they all looked and could not help but let a tear out before quickly wiping it due to hearing hoof steps behind him.
He turned around and saw Ratchet walking toward him. "What do you want?" Storm asked.
Ratchet just stared at him. "What is wrong with his eyes?.......that is so odd.......but then again me and Aurora are odd as well." He thought.
Storm was just giving Ratchet a blank stare. "Well? do you want something?" He asked again.
Seeing Storm's expression Ratchet started to feel hatred.......but he did not know why.
"Nothing at all i just want to talk.....is that a problem for you?" Ratchet said.
Storm just stared at him for a moment before walking towards the couch infuriating Ratchet greatly.
Rose Minutte and Sound entered the room soon after and split up.
Dash looked over towards Aurora and Scootaloo who were busy playing and then noticed Storm sit down next to her.
"So Dash.......is there anything I should know about these friends of yours?.......they're not going to attack me are they?" Storm said.
Dash chuckled a little then shook her head. "No Storm they will not.....they have no reason too." She said.
Storm looked at her with a 'seriously' look. "Hmm lets see.....when you introduced me to Twilight you told me she was friendly.....and yet she attacked me." He countered.
Dash groaned and fell backwords in defeat. "Fine be suspicious but I'm telling you they will not attack." She replied.
Sound walked over to the couch and sat down next to Dash. "So....Dash who's your friend?" He asked.
Dash looked at Sound then at Storm and groaned again. "Sound this is Storm.....Storm this is Sound." She said.
Storm looked at Sound and nodded. "Ok so he is a changeling as well.....and his daughter and son are half breeds." He thought looking at Rose and then Minutte whose eyes widened at him.
"Ok....so the changeling from earlier is here and the other one is a Pegasus........heh this is a strange group." He thought.
Sound saw Storm looking around and upon seeing Minutte's reaction knew that this was the colt that she was talking about and decided to talk to Dash about this.
Dash felt Sound tap her shoulder and looked over. "Yes......what is it?" Dash asked.
"I need to talk to you.....in private." Sound replied standing up then walking towards the kitchen then Dash soon followed.

Sound sat at the table and motioned Dash to sit.
Dash sighed and sat down. "What do you want to talk to me about?" She asked.
Sound took a breath then spoke. "Storm knows that me and Minutte are changelings....and that Ratchet and Aurora are half changelings." He said.
Dash's eyes widened at this and then rubbed her head. "That.....is odd......I...i..mean bad....how could he possibly know......I did not say anything....and Scoots does not know either." She replied.
Sighing at this Sound walked over to Dash. "Look....I don't know what it is but it.is.bad....but I have a feeling he knows something and or has a way of telling." He suggested.
"Well.....there is one possibility.....it could be his eyes." Dash replied getting an odd look from Sound.
Sound stared at Dash and then shook his head. "What do you mean Dash.....it shouldn't be possible.......but then again it is weird." He said.
"I know it is...........but think about it....what normal Pegasus colt has one forest green eye and a...type of red eye........it's freaky." She replied.
Sound and Dash sat still for a while then they heard hoofsteps walking towards them....the two looked over and saw Storm just looking at them.
"Hey Storm....what's up?.........why are you looking at us like that?" Dash asked.
Storm leaned up against the wall. "Well for one.....if you wanted to know how I know what you are why didn't you say so?" He asked.
Dash and Sound's jaws dropped at this but soon composed themselves and Sound spoke. "Ok.......how then?" He replied.
Storm smirked then walked over to the table and sat down. "Alright then.........Dash you are correct it is my eyes that let me see.........for one........the discolored blood red eye is sort of my............combat eye...it lets me see anything my opponent is doing and the true intentions behind it.....also it's giving me.....a lot of strength......when I have it active that is." He explained.
Dash cleared her throat which stopped Storm. "What do you mean....active?" She asked.
"Well I mean that I can switch it from the red eye to the green eye to increase that ones power." He replied.
Dash rubbed her head due to a headache. "Ugh......fine tell us about the other eye." She said.
Storm cleared his throat and continued. "Well then.......the other eye is basically a detection eye........I can see through lies....I can tell exactly what is happening around me.......just now Colgate dropped a book on the mat and Ratchet is listening in on us........also I can tell whenever a spell was cast.........I can also switch it to the red eye from the green eye." He said then he turned around.
Around the corner was Ratchet and having heard enough slipped away quietly........or at least that was what he wanted to think as he soon saw his dad who then picked him up and put him down on the kitchen floor.
For a few moments the room was quiet exept for Sound lecturing Ratchet when finally to every pony's relief a knock at the door caused Ratchet to bolt. "I'll get it!" He shouted.

Ratchet opened the door to reveal a gruff looking earth pony looking at him......Ratchet then spoke up. "Ummm.dad?......you might want to come here." he called.
Soon after Sound showed up and pulled his son back then looked at the stranger.
"Can I help you sir?" Sound asked. The stranger looked up to reveal it was a stallion who then spoke. "I need to speak with Mak'dhan." He said.
Sound raised an eyebrow at this and then replied. "What would this Mak'dhan look like?" He asked. The earth pony grunted. "Pegasus dark red weird eyes and he's....odd." He replied.
Sound's eyes widened and then cleared his throat. "Storm its for you." He yelled.
Some creaking of wood planks was heard as Storm came into view. "Oh great........what do you want this time Gar'wak?" Storm asked impatiently.
Gar'wak grunted. "I must speak with you alone......it's important." He replied.
Storm nodded. "Well sorry guys.....I got to go." He said walking outside with the earth pony behind him.
Ratchet and Sound were now very confused but Sound then closed the door.
"Hey guys who was it!?" Dash called. Sound motioned Ratchet to go into the living room as he then walked into the kitchen.

Storm and the stallion walked up to the frozen fountain and stopped. "Well then.....what is it this time?" Storm asked.
The stallion saluted. "Sir....we have a top secret mission in the city of Manehatten.....I was sent here with the others to join up with you for this mission." He answered.
Storm sighed. "Ugg....can't a colt stay in retirement for once......oh well let's get this over with." He said walking off supposedly unaware that he was followed.
The figure ran off quickly into the fog believing to have succeeded.
