The Mane Six had just gone to sleep for the first night at Twilight's four night sleepover, and lets just say, when they woke up, it was a different story...."
The Mane Six had just arrived at Twilight Sparkle's Castle for a four night sleepover. And when they decide to help Twilight bring the remaining books that survived the battle with Tirek, they discover a book with an odd title..... So Twilight Sparkle decides to read it out loud, and everything seems fine, untill the next morning..... That is.....
It was a breezy night, and Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash, where all on their way to have a four night sleepover at Twilight's Castle.
"Oooooh, c'mon cmon, where gonna be late?!" Said a clearly over exited Pinkie Pie. Pinkie, where not gonna be late, so don't ya worry Sugercube." Applejack said. This is the first time that we are going to see the Castle interior, I wonder what it will be like...?" Rarity said, daydreaming.
"Hey, look where here!" Pinkie Pie shouted, bouncing towards the door. The door opened to reveal a purple Alicorn Princess standing inside. "Hey, everypony, glad you could all make it!" Twilight said, tightly hugging each of her friends. "Wouldn't miss it fer the world Twi, wouldn't miss it..." AJ replied, smiling happily at her Alicorn friend. "So what do you all want to do- Twilight?!" Twilight and her friends turned around to see Spike running into the room with a scroll in his hand. "Spike, is that for me?" Twilight asked, curiously. Spike opened his mouth to speak as he regained his breath. "Yea.." It's from Princess Celestia." Spike answered before saying hello to the rest of Twilight's friends, and leaving the room. "So what's it say, Rainbow asked, taking the page from Twilight. Twilight glared at Dash before grasping the scroll in her Magic. "It says that we should all go to the remains of Golden Oaks Library to gather the surviving book that weren't destroyed in the battle with Tirek, it also says that there is a book that might be useful for you all. Twilight said, showing the paper to her friends. "I guess, that's a good idea, you know how Twilight loves books, Rarity said, the rest of her friends agreeing. "Then... Lets go!!" Weeee!" Pinkie said, bouncing happily out the door.
Once they arrived at the remains of the Library, Twilight was looking sadly at the empty destroyed room that would've been her bedroom. "It's alright, Sugercube, at least you still have books to remember it by, right?" Applejack said, looking sadly at her friend. "I guess your right..." Twilight answered, before walking over to some books at picking them up with her Magic, and putting them in a neat pile. "Hey, Twilight, look, I found a book that isn't all dusty!!" Pinkie Pie said, bouncing over and handing the book over to Twilight.
Twilight read the first couple pages carefully, and a particular sentence caught her attention. "Hey, everypony listen to this, dosent it sound, weird.....?' Twilight said, causing her friends to walk over to her. "Then read it out loud?" Dash said, sitting down. "Okay." Twilight said, her eyes returning its focus onto the sentence. "A destiny may be hard to find, but when your true light is the friends you all have, your magic and wings may take you anywhere in life...... Only if true friendship is melted into your heart......." Twilight said, closing the book promptly. "Hey, Twi, can we head back to yer Castle, I'm beat...." AJ said, yawning. "Same, Dash answered yawning loudly as well. "Okay, let's go.... Home...." Twilight said, her Magic flicking on, teleporting them all to the Castle.
Once they were sure that their hooves where safely on the ground, they headed to the bedroom they where sleeping in. Thanks, Twilight." Your a great friend." Fluttershy said, flying above the bed, and softly landing on it, getting under the plush covers.
Little did they know, a strange magic was changing their lives at that exact moment, and that they will never be the same again......
The next morning, Twilight Sparkle was wide awake, reading a book on her sofa, in the Castle Living Room.... While everypony else was still sound asleep, except for Applejack, she was tossing and turning in her bed, unable to stay still for long. "Ugh, pony feathers, I can't sleep.." AJ said, getting out of bed slowly, noticing that the other where still asleep, so she quietly walked out of the room to the Castle Bathroom, needing to use it anyways. Once AJ entered the bathroom, she saw herself in the mirror, and looked at herself.... And her face went wide at the sight of a horn atop her head. "Oh god....." AJ said quietly, before looking down, and noticing two feathery wings folded neatly on her back. "AJ stared at herself for a minute before running out of the room, desprately looking for Twilight.
"Twilight?!" You gotta help me?!" Applejack said, running into the room to see Twilight reading a red covered book.
"Oh, Applejack your awa- Aahhh?!" What!" Why are you an Alicorn?!?!" Twilight yelled, in shock. "That's just it, Twi.." I woke up ta find these here wings on ma back and a horn on ma head." AJ said, trying her best to stay calm about it. "
"What's all the commotion about?!" Called a voice, which happened to be Rarity's, who was walking towards them tiredly.
"What!?" Rairty said, shaking her head at what she just heard her friend say. "Did you say, that... She's an..... Alicorn?!" Rairty asked, eyes eyes still wide.
"Rairty, come see for yerself, take a look, AJ said, trying her best to unfold her wings, but only manages to get then to hang on her sides. "Oh my goodness?!" "Now you'll be able to use your magic to tend your crops, wonderful!" Rairty said, smiling widely.
"That's just it, Rarity, I don't wanna be an Alicorn, I wanna be my old Earth Pony self!!!" AJ responded, her anger turning into sadness.
"Telling Celestia won't go over well, as she might get mad at another Alicorn...." Twilight answered, thinking about some answers for Applejack's sudden Alicorn transformation.
"Did I hear somepony say that AJ was an Alicorn?" Said a tired voice, which happened to be Rainbow's.
"Yes, Rainbow, AJ's an Alicorn...." Twilight answered, casually. "AWESOME!!" Another flying buddy!!" Rainbow said, saying the exact same thing she said when Twilight became an Alicorn.
"AJ's an Alicorn, AJ's an Alicorn, AJ's an Alicorn.!" Woohoo!!" Said a high- pitched voice from the bedroom, it was Pinkie Pie, she was bouncing excitedly, and had her fake wings on.
"Oh no........" AJ said, before hiding her face in her hat.
For the next several hours, Twilight was looking from book-to-book for information about sudden Alicorn transformations, but found nothing. "It's alright, Twi, ya did yer best ta help me, but I guess I'll have ta cope with my new apperance....." AJ said, before going back into the bedroom, before sitting down on her bed, and looking at her new apperance In the bedroom mirror, and slowly managing to open her wings, and smiling sadly. "AJ. You in here?" Applejack looked up from the mirror to see Rainbow Dash floating behind her.
"Hey, it's okay, getting used to a new apperance isn't easy, I know.." Rainbow said, seeing AJ look at herself in the mirror once again.
"And how would you know that...?" AJ asked, looking up at Rainbow, who had her hoof on her back.
"From Twilight, it took her a long time to get used to her wings, I taught her how to fly, and that doesn't mean I can't teach you, either, right?" Rainbow said, smiling at the sad farm pony. AJ sighed, before opening her mouth to speak...
" I guess yer right....... When do we begin?" AJ asked, willing to accept her new form if she had to.
"Now?" Rainbow asked, smiling, putting her hoof up to AJ's wings, and causing them to open up completely.
When Rainbow and Applejack reached the field behind Twilight's Castle, Dash told AJ to spread out her wings and flap them..
"Okay, slowly flap you're wings until you find a speed that you're comfortable with, okay?" Dash told the newly sprouted Alicorn.
"Oh, alright.... Here goes..." AJ slowly unfurled her wings to full length, and began flapping them slowly, before fining a comfortable speed. "Uh, Dash this speed is fine, right?" AJ asked nervously.
"Yup!" Dash answered, lifting off the ground as she flapped her wings. "Okay, now.... Follow me?" Rainbow asked, flying over to a medium sized hill. "Stand at the very top of this hill, okay?" Rainbow said, pointing her hoof to where AJ would stand. AppleJack slowly made her way to the top of the hill.
"Now what?". AJ asked, looking over to Dash.
"This might be tricky, for a first time flyer, anyways.... Flap your wings until you feel yourself lifting above the ground, and then land." Rainbow said, landing on the ground. Applejack unfurled her feathery wings once more, and flapped them....... After a couple of seconds, AJ felt air underneath her, as she slowly gained a little lift..
"Dash, what now?..." AJ asked, trying to land, but falling on her face. ""Ouch..." Dash helped her friend up before getting back to work.
"Try and gain lift again, and try to maneuver yourself towards me, okay?" Rainbow instructed. AJ gained lift once again, and tried desperately to turn around in the air, before falling on her butt. "Try again, you'll get it."
"Oh... Alright, AJ said, flying above the ground again, this time.... Turning around...
"You did it!" Great........now-!"
"Thanks Dash, but I've had plenty of practice for today, thanks." AJ said, hurrying to the Castle, and walking inside.
"Oh, hey AJ." How'd it go with Rainbow?" Twilight asked, smiling, the rest of her friends there beside her.
"Honestly, it went well...." Applejack answered, wanting to just go and rest...
"That's good to hear, darling, Rarity said, putting a hoof of AJ's back, causing her to flinch. "Thanks y'all, but I just wanna-."
"Hey, AJ!" Want me to teach you Magic!!!??" Twilight asked eagerly.
"Well, uh-"
Perfect!' Twilight said, dragging AJ over to the centre of the Living Room.
"Let's go, we need to give AJ some space?" Fluttershy said, walking out of the room, her friends following behind.
"Uh Twi, I-".
Okay, first, we need to teach you how to levitate stuff, okay?" By now, AJ had given up on saying no, she'd just have to deal with it.
"Alright, what'd we do first?" AJ asked, impatiently.
"Ooh, just warning you, for a first time using Magic, it's pretty difficult, but okay, you need to put all you're concentration into one item, and imagine where you want to move to..." Okay?" Twilight said, doing the same with her Magical abilities.
"Alright?...." AJ, looked around the room for something small.... And spotted a small paperback book on the table...... Focusing all her attention into that once item, a light blue aura sparked around it, then suddenly dissipated into thin air. "Aww, pony feathers...." AJ said.
"Great job!" Even I couldn't get it to spark the first time I used Magic!" Wow!" Twilight said, happy to see AJ slowly progressing. "Oh, and before you try again, there's a little bad thing about Magic, that when you are using any sort of Magic, it puts a lot of stress on your body. So if your not concentrating, don't use Magic..."
"Yes yes, okay..." AJ said, focusing her concentration onto the book again, this time.. The Magical Aura covering the item completely.... Making it slowly lift off the ground, before carefully being set down on the table.
"Alright, Practice done, how about we go see what everypony else is up to?" Twilight asked, taking the book and putting it back into its rightful place on the bookshelf... And leaving the room with Applejack..
It was late at night, and everypony had gone to bed, exhausted... Except for Twilight and Rainbow Dash.
"Ugh, Rainbow, can you please get some sleep....?" Twilight asked, her eyes barely open.
"Sorry, I'm just..... Thirsty....." Dash answered, sitting up. "Well then help yourself." Twilight said, her head falling to the pillow, before falling asleep again.... Unable to stay awake any longer.
"Okay..." Dash got out of her bed, and quietly walked out of the room, before heading to the kitchen. She opened the fridge, and looked at its contents. "Ah, juice!" Dash grabbed the juice carton, and took a glass from the cabinet.... Once she was done with the juice, she picked it up, and headed for the fridge to put it back..... Dash's grasp on the juice carton was failing.... Before slipping out of her hooves, and falling to the floor...... Dash closed her eyes, prepared to see Twilight running into the room to see juice all over the floor. She opened her eyes, and noticed something, she squinted her eyes, and noticed a dimly glowing sky blue light surrounding the carton of juice. "What in the name of Celestia?" Rainbow said, shaking her head, rubbing her eyes. Rainbow's eyes went wide suddenly, before her hoof moving up towards her head, only to bump into a hard object. "Oh, my. Gosh...." Dash said, before running to the bathroom, and seeing a horn on her head. "Yes!!!!" Dash yelled, before putting a hoof to her mouth, and running outside..
Once Dash got outside, she prepared to teach herself how to use Magic. "Here goes nothin'." Dash said, before making her horn glow ever so slightly. "I can use this!" Aha!" Dash smiled, grabbing a ball. Her horn glowed once more, and the ball began to lift up.. " that was easy-! The ball suddenly dropped to the ground, making a squeaking sound as it hit the grass. "Ugh, come on!" Dash yelled, regaining concentration on the ball, making it lift above the ground once more.
Rainbow was excited, but she couldn't help but wonder why both she and AJ were now Alicorns....
"Hehe, this is Soo sweet!" Dash yelled, before flying up to a cloud and dozing off.
It was nearing morning, and everypony was still sleeping soundly, except Pinkie, she was rummaging through her bag, looking for a ball. "Aha, here it is!" Pinkie said, holding the ball steadily balanced on her hoof, and carried it outside.. "Now it's time to see if I can beat Rainbow Dash's record of not dropping the ball of 75!" Pinkie said, determined. As soon as Pinkie threw the ball into the air above her head, she jumped up, and was about to hit the ball off of her head, but instead, it hit something hard...... "What in the name of Candy was that!?" Pinkie said, lifting her hoof to the top of her head, and hitting a horn atop her head... "Ohmygoshohmygoshphmygosh!' Pinkie screamed, but immediately covered her mouth and looked down to her stomach, to see a pair of feathery pink wings folded neatly on her sides. "Yes!!!!!" Pinkie yelled, unfurling her wings and flapping them, ready to fly already. "Hmmmmmmm...Aha, maybe if I get up there, I can get enough wind to gain lift! Pinkie said, using her normally odd mathematics. Pinkie ran up to the top of the hill and spread her wings, readying herself for her first ever time flying. Okay, here I go, Pinkie said, her newly sprouted wings lifting from a sudden strong breeze. Pinkie began to flap her wings, slowly flapping her wing, gradually gaining lift. "Hehehehehehe, I can fly!!!" Pinkie said, teaching herself to fly with her crazy antics. "Wheeeeeeee!" Pinkie yelled, flying around the castle, smiling widely.
Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash had dozed off on a cloud in front on Twilight's Castle, only to be woken up by a loud, highpitched squee. "Ugh, what was that.....?" Rainbow asked, lazily looking up, and only to be suprised by a pink blur whooshing past her. "Helloooo Rainbow Dash!" Rainbow looked up to notice Pinkie Pie..... But she was floating-no... Flying!!!! "Pinkie- Pink- wait what!!!" Dash said, rubbing her eyes, clearly thinking she was going insane. "Hahaha, Wait a minute, Your an Alicorn too, and so am I!!!" Can you say, Best Day Ever!!!!" Pinkie yelled, happy as can be. "Pinkie!" Stop!" Dash yelled, in complete shock. "What!" Pinkie said, stopping in midair, and falling onto the cloud Rainbow was on, smiling and flopping onto the fluffy cloud, and returning her attention to Dash... And sitting down.
"We need to tell Twilight! Now!!!!" Rainbow Yelled, speeding off inside the Castle.... Pinkie following behind... "Okay doki Loki!!!!!"
"Twilight!!!" Dash yelled, pushing the doors open with her hooves, while speeding inside the Castle, only to slam into all four of her friends, knocking them over. "Twilight!" Pinkie's an Alicorn too!!!" Dash yelled, catching her breath, while turning to the clearly happy Pinkie Pie. "Oh no!"... Twilight said, grabbing a stack of paper and a quill, ready to find out why they were all Alicorns... "I need you all to go somewhere else for about an hour or so, so I can do some research, sorry girls, but I have to do this!" Twilight said, quickly locking herself in the living room.
Meanwhile, the five girls where heading to the bedroom, obviously trying to find out why as well.... "Okay so, Dash, Pinkie, Twilight, and Applejack are Alicorns.
"Rarity, Twilight doesn't count...." Rainbow said, rolling her eyes annoyingly. "Oh, goodness, your right... Haha..." Rarity said, slightly embarrassed.
"So, either Fluttershy or Rarity is going to become an Alicorn next. " Applejack said, point her hoof to the both of them.
"All we need to do you now, is wait, and see..." Pinkie said, bouncing up and down, before landing on her bed, putting a blanket across her back. "Maybe... We should all... Go to my Cottage... Ummm.. So we can all get away from the trouble that has been going on lately..... Said a very quiet Fluttershy, but no-pony heard her, except for Rarity.
"Yes, Fluttershy, that is a great idea!" Rarity said loudly, before the five friends began walking down the path away from the Castle, towards Fluttershy's Cottage.
"Let's go and relax..." Rainbow said, as the five friends continues their way towards Fluttershy's cozy Cottage..
