Two best mare friends alone in a locked cider cellar, what could go wrong?

If the apple family is known for anything besides their apples, its their cider and tonight marks the 20th anniversary of pure success and its main family member Applejack has decided to plan a party. All goes well until a certain rainbow maned Pegasus friend drops by that turns it into a long lonesome night of bickering, laughs, drinking and untold confessions that unfurl in a locked basement, with two mares and a supply of cider.

The Party

“This has to be the one of the best, parties, ever!” Pinkie squealed with delight as she pranced around the hay bedded floor without a care in the world.
It has been a stellar twenty years of cider selling business for Sweet Apple Acres and today marked the anniversary, and that of coarse called for another celebration. Applejack was proud at how far her family’s legacy of an apple farm has come and took it upon herself to plan this year’s party no matter how hard Pinkie begged to use her trusty party canon. Aj planned to hold it in their in-famous apple cellar where all the mouth-watering cider was always safely stored. All of Pony Ville were invited along with apple family members from Appleloosa all the way through Manhattan with almost every pony attended except for a certain mail mare who confused the dates.

Even with a bustling crowd, the glistening décor of strung multi-colored lanterns and dimly lit apple scented candles gave the usually dark basement a warm and cozy feeling only the apple family could pull off. Trays upon trays of delectable pastries scattered about on every flat surface from apple tarts and pies to a new recipe on Applejack’s part, apple aspic. In the middle of the room was a pile of hay on the otherwise hardwood floor to serve as a dance area while remixed country tunes played by musicians on the center stage made out of old cider barrels. The main attraction though was to the side of the stairs leading down to the party was an old bar. After being polished up the gorgeous bronze surface glistened in the warm light with custom gold plated apples and foreign designs on the front and on its complimentary mugs.

Even with the natural cider the apple family always decided to spike it at every party they held. Usually the sweet juice already gave ponies cravings for its sweet nectar but with the added magical colored zap apples grown once every year, it made ponies go twice as crazy for the addictive liquid.

With the party well under way, on the dance floor Pinkie was dancing up a storm with alicorn Twilight Sparkle as could be clearly seen by every pony that the two had way too much cider. At the top of the stairs Applejack could hear her other friends Rarity and Fluttershy approaching yet with no apparent signs of her best Pegasus friend Rainbow Dash. Even with the stubborn mare on the back of her mind, tonight was a special night for sure regardless and Applejack couldn't help but smile at her grand accomplishment

“Oh darling I never knew you could be so sophisticated, this party of yours is very classy!” Rarity trotted over to the bar where Applejack was propped up behind it. Rarity wore her deep violet hair up in a high bun with her tail in precise curls. She seemed to be wearing another new outfit with rhinestones hemmed to a silk silver dress with a matching tiara atop her horn.

“Ah gee Rare I wouldn’t call this hoedown being sophisticated, just mildly welcoming that’s all.” Applejack chuckled to herself rejecting her friends compliment with natural sarcasm.

“Hmph! I though I finally broke you Apple dear, now then while I’m here could you get me and Fluttershy here a drink of cider? I’m absolutely parched!” Rarity scoffed and pulled the shy Pegasus to her side.

“But um Rarity,I um didn’t bring any bits to pay for it.” Fluttershy squirmed in Rarity’s firm hold under her hoof.

Fluttershy seemed like a speck compared to how high standard Rarity done herself up to be. She had braided her hair without much effort and had a daisy in her mane not being able to tell if it was there intentional or not considering her life among nature.

“Don’t you worry about a thing Shy, it’s on me! You don’t want your princess dancing alone without a true chivalrous pony to escort her highness now do you?” Rarity sighed lifting her hoof to her forehead and pouted her glossed lips at the poor stuttering Pegasus.

“I...I guess not R-Rarity” Fluttershy said being hushed among the loud music with a now new found red colour in her pale yellow cheeks.

Applejack rolled her eyes and tipped her Stetson atop her head to the girls while spinning around to fetch two mugs of cider.

Unlike her dressed up guests Applejack simply wore her proud cowpony hat and decided to let her mane down for once. This was though not a fashion choice though, all of the party preparations took out all of her time to even considering doing herself up. Not that she would have anyway.

Applejack pushed the nozzle with her hoof on one of the many barrels of cider lined along the back of the bar. It gave a satisfying hiss as the golden liquid came rushing out leaving over flowing foam at each of the mug’s rim. She slid them across the table to the mares waiting for their fix and added tiny umbrellas in each one knowing Rarity’s full on expectations.

The two nodded with wide grins on their face as Rarity tossed Aj an emerald gem as the two girls clanged there mugs and lost themselves in the crowd. Applejack gazed at the gorgeous stone setting it aside among the large pile of bits under the counter.

After a few hours of Cheerilee and Big Mac making moves, Lyra swinging from the chandelier and Brae burn throwing up on Spike, the party ended with a satisfied slurring alicorn princess being the last one to make it out the door using a partied out pink pony as a weak choice of support.

Applejack let out a massive sigh wiping sweat of her brow and walked out behind the bar that had kept her trapped there all night. She started sweeping the now scattered hay on the floor into a pile in the corner of the room letting herself plop onto the sudden comfort of the straw. Her eyes lowly started too close promising herself a deep slumber, when a whirring sound was heard in the distance outside the cellar.

“Hehehe Applejack you’re just tired, now stop hearing things and get some well-deserved rest.” Applejack mumbled to herself trying to calm her hyped nerves of the noise faintly approaching causing her heart to mildly skip a frightened beat. Even being brave and strong built pony inside and out she knew that she was too exhausted to defend herself from whatever monster was coming to eat her as easy prey.

Applejack’s mind went wild contemplating what evil creature has come to devour her, when without a second to blink two cyan hooves came crashing on her body as she was tackled to the bottom of the hay stack. A grinning Pegasus with wild rainbow mane stood above her with determined magenta eyes staring Aj’s shocked face down. Her wings spread wide as a rush of delayed wind came into the room to approve of this mare’s speed and utter pride.

“The party has arrived!” Rainbow Dash declared to the wide empty space as the doors of the cellar silently closed shut unnoticed with a faint satisfied click.

“Rainbow Dash what in blazes are you doing, get off of me!” Applejack yelled sternly at her friend above her attempting to get out from under the Pegasus’s strong hold.

“Hmm nah I don’t feel like it,….whoah!” Rainbow Dash choked back her words as the cowgirl wrangled her way on top of her, not planning on letting go of her anytime soon.

“Hah! Now then, why are you breaking into my place in the middle of the night? “Applejack scoffed a whisper at the tip of Dash’s ear causing a chill down the mare’s spine. “Do you need me to call the cops sugar-cube, or maybe I should just take care of this myself!”

“Ahh come on Aj,....gah!” Rainbow barley was able to squeal out of the choke hold the orange mare had her in as her other hoof slowly approach the Pegasus’s ticklish hooves.

“Fine, fine, fine I will surrender just… hahahahaha stop it, please!” Rainbow Dash bawled out laughing trying to resist bucking Aj in the face from all the tension in her hoofs being messed with.

“There will be more of that to come unless you don’t start talking yah mangling burglar,” Applejack sneered feeling an odd sense of pleasure being able to be keeping the fastest mare in all of Equestria in all her control.

“Im real sorry I didn't show up to your party Aj,I had some major clouds forming up in Cloudsdale and I uhh was the only one who was there to stop it!” Rainbow grinned widely through her teeth only to be met with un-satisfied jade eyes giving her a hard time.

Applejack knew Rainbow to well of when she was telling the truth or lying, and this was a lie. She never understood why she put up with the stubborn Pegasus in the first place but I guess that was because she gave her just as much of a hard time as well. Tonight though Aj didn't feel like messing around being filled with pure fury of her best friend missing and now lying about her not attending her shin dig. Sometimes the cowmare wondered how in tarnation her best friend was so stupid enough to challenge honesty, at least her loyalty shined through of her bothering to show up in the dead of night.

“Look okay maybe I might have slept in and maybe because I wanted dibs on all the leftover cider….” Rainbow Dash bashfully confessed standing up from Applejack's tackling position and rubbed the back of her rainbow mane with her hoof. “Plus I know you promised to make me some of your special batch and I just wanted you to be the only one seeing to me when I’m hanged over.”

“Rainbow Dash life isn't all about fame, drinking, bits and bucking!” Applejack sighed feeling pity for her loyal friend and did owe her for all the times Rainbow took time of her job to see her in the fields every now and then. “Fine Dash, but next time don’t come onto my property and force me into giving you a drink by barging in like a filly fooler!”

Applejack laughed to herself winking back at the suddenly ecstatic Pegasus as she trotted herself back behind the bar and pulled out a hidden barrel with a rainbow painted rim.

“Yes ma’am!” Rainbow Dash saluted with her tongue out not being able to contain her joy for the sweet goodness she was about to treat her taste buds to. “Hey wait, filly fooler?”

“Well you did tackle tired lil old me attempting to sleep in a secluded basement, so yes Rainbow you would be a thieving filly fooler!” Applejack remarked, rolling the barrel to the nearest table and attached a nozzle.

“Come on Apples, you know it’s for the cider, and even if I were a filly fooler I would be pretty darn good at it,” the cyan mare flashed a seductive smile flipping her mane back causing a mild whole hearted giggle between the two.

“Since you’re a proud mare, go fetch the mugs would yah dear,” The country girl said with the most poise and precise accent she could do to mock the annoyed jock.

“No way, go get them yourself you work horse!” Dash’s temper rose as she didn't like the act her rival of a friend was topping her.

“Nuh huh, you’re the one who wants the rare, mouth-watering, slithering down your thought goodness only the insides of this barrel can offer,” Applejack easily got her back with a swift comeback and stuck her tongue out as the frustrated Pegasus flew behind the counter without any sense of care and snatched up two clean mugs.

“Hey who gave you this?” Rainbow Dash asked curiously noticing the emerald gem under the bar counter as she held it up into the dim light of the candles and chandelier, bewildered by its beauty.

“Pfft you know Rarity, she used that to pay for her cider early and I find it truly is quite lovely though dontcha think?” Aj softened as her friend approached her holding it up into her eyes.

“Well it matches your eyes perfectly!” Dash gasped not being able to help but notice the gorgeous gleam of the emeralds that were Applejack’s eyes that seemed to twinkle more than the gem ever could. “Let’s just say it suits you I guess, now then where is that special cider!?”

The cyan mare snapped out of her dazed out scene and immediately shoved her mug in front of the nozzle giving it her will at full control.

This barrel was special since it wasn’t ordinary nor spiked cider, but pure straight zap apple cider. This was the strongest concoction Aj has ever dared to make after Rainbow’s constant pleading and begging she decided to give it a try. Applejack nudged the nozzle as the flow of rainbow spectrum oozed out of the barrel with delight finding its home in the firm mug. Contrasting swirls of bubbly foam over flowed over the rim as the cow mare quickly sent her glass under the waterfall of splendors soon to meet her lips.

Before AJ could take even the slightest sip Rainbow was finished her first dose with the widest smile Applejack has ever has ever seen of a satisfied craving.

“Holy Celestia that is the stuff, when you go big you really go big Applejack!” Rainbow Dash praised as her eyes widened with overwhelming joy and soon a challenging stance. “I bet I can out drink you Apples.”

“Woah there nelly, you sure about that? I mean I know you’re confident and all but a country gal knows how to hold down her booze.” Applejack nodded accepting the Pegasus’s challenge as the rainbow manned mare refilled her mug and Aj brought her first taste of the liquid to her lips.

Without warning the two started chugging down the bitter sweet juice and continued to refill and shout off curses of pleasure with each mug at ease. When Applejack swallowed hard the first taste of her brew it made her understand just how good Dash put it out to be. It was much sweeter then cider with a spicy aftertaste that made herself feel as if she was banished to the moon an d back, yet that wasn't going to stop her from winning.

Shortly after 8 cups from the brash Pegasus and 9 out of the country mare, Applejack was surely planning to take in her victory.

“Woo whee how you do like dem apples Dash!” Aj sighed as she let out an accidentally loud burp yet still sober as could be.

“*Hic* You’re not getting off *Hic* that *Hic* easily you apple flanked mare you,” Rainbow Dash attempted to speak between hiccups of drunken vocabulary as she dived her head under the nozzle and let her mouth be fueled with the irresistible juice.

“Damn it Dash stop!” Applejack cursed throwing the mare of the table by surprise as she herself collected the remains of the rainbow liquid left in the already empty barrel. The last drop hit her tongue as she lazily slumped off the table on to her passed out mess of a mare. The Zap apple cider seemed to soak into certain strands of Rainbow’s mane and tail with alone droplets quenching her lips and dripped down her tender chin. Aj attempted to correct her vision and admire just how tame this wild Pegasus could be when the rush of exhaustion hit her head.

“I think…..that means… I won!” the blonde mare slurred out the last bit of energy she had in her and passed out on the soft rising movements of the sleeping Pegasus below her.

The Trap

Rainbow Dash groggily woke up with the taste of cider in her mouth to the surprisingly large mass of mare resting on her stomach. She immediately crawled out from under the sleeping Applejack and tried to remember where she even was and what the hay happened. A quick glance around the room refreshed her memory as she was truly acknowledging the gorgeous surroundings.
“Applejack you really out did yourself…,” The Pegasus thought to herself, noticing all the hard work the country mare put into tonight’s extravaganza
Warm glows of light from dim candles now still leaving a cozy scent of apples in the room that tickled Dash's nostrils in all the right ways.
She looked down at the mare sleeping on the hardwood floor, now dozing like a newborn filly. Rainbow Dash didn't fully notice the fact earlier that Applejack has had her natural golden, straw like mane down for once out of her red ribbons. It really gave her a look of feminism Dash usually never seen in her before considering having to put up with her usual rough and tough nature. All of it contrasting with her pumpkin shaded coat and sealed emerald eyes dumbfounded her on how Aj was actually a pretty good looking pony.
Rainbow Dash picked up the mare’s Stetson beside its owner in her teeth and laid it on top Applejack's head being sure not to wake her. A peek at a clock in on the small stage told Dash that it was a few minutes past midnight which also told her that her time here was done.
Fluttering her powerful wings as quietly she could Rainbow Dash flew up the stairs and wrapped her hooves around the handles above her. With a swift tug she attempted to open the paneled door, but to no avail. Without even caring if Applejack was awake the Pegasus yanked at the door as hard as her muscles would allow it, throwing herself at the stubborn object blocking her way to freedom.
Confused and troubled she dashed from her spot ,leaving a angered rainbow trail in her path as she shook awake the once peaceful beast of a cowmare awake.

“Applejack why did you lock the door on me?” The mare shook her half asleep friend. “I was going to leave you quietly but you just had to make this more difficult, I need to rest up for my big training session with Spitfire tomorrow!”

“Uh sugarcube wouldn't that be today?” Applejack let out a big yawn rubbing her eyes attempting to remove the temptation of her eyelids from shutting closed again.

Rainbow dropped Applejack onto the ground and put her hoof to her face as if she forgot that she slept through the night.

“Gah your right! How could have you have been so careless, letting me drink all of your stupid cider!” Rainbow Dash complained hovering over her friend.

“It’s no big deal Rainbow, the booze seemed to have worn off by now and I’m sure with one big ole swift pull, you will be back in Cloudsdale in no time,” Applejack smirked taking her harsh words as a compliment, trotting up the steps to inspect the door .

“Hey Aj what’s taking so long, I’I've got things to do!” The Pegasus snarled becoming overly bitter not getting what she wanted.

“I uh..when you flew in earlier think you may have locked it shut. Rainbow Dash we are stuck here,” Applejack bluntly stated out with a hint of guilt at the end of her statement noticing the sudden alarm in Rainbow’s speech.

“Oh that’s just great, what am I going to tell Spitfire? Yes ma’m I missed our exclusive training session because I got drunk with my best friend and was locked in overnight!” Rainbow Dash mimicked her own voice getting more furious by every second.

“Listen Rainbow, we will surely be out by early morning since mah family will be wondering where I am!” Applejack tugged on the Pegasus’s multi-colored tail off guard, bringing her down to earth, “Why is seeing Spitfire so important anywho, you see her all the time her being your wonderbolt coach and what not!”

Rainbow Dash grabbed her tail away harshly out of Aj’s mouth and solemnly sat In front of the bar resting her head on the counter. Her mind filled with thousands of thoughts not sure if telling the truth would be worth it or just wait until Aj finally broke her.

“Come on now Dash you know you can tell me anything.” The cowmare passed her a new mug of straight cider plopping down right next to her.

Rainbow Dash shifted slightly in her spot and held the cup of liquid close to her chest, staring at the ripples the movement of her swirling in the mug made.
Applejack hated seeing her friend in such a foul mood, it seemed that her bold colors in her mane and tail couldn't replace the joyful feeling of a rainbow in the room. She wanted to pry but knowing Rainbow that would just make it that much worse, considering her own thoughts flooding her mind at the moment.

“Hey, you don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to,for now let’s just make the best of this inconvenience alright?” Applejack softened to a smile nudging Dash’s mug plucking her attention once more.

Without a word the Pegasus simply grinned and took a swig of the cider pleased in a change of subject and ready for a great time.
Silence filled the space once more as the two mares glumly still sat at the bar refilling mugs of cider when needed, sipping without much noise, accepting each other’s bottled up selves.

“Uhm Aj…, I’m getting kind of hungry.” Rainbow Dash shrugged desperate for a source of conversation to lighten the mood.

“I’m sure there are some extra goodies on the table if you browse,” Aj sighed enjoying the new found joy found in Rainbow Dash.

“Hehehe I think I will just munch on some apples, Apples,” Rainbow Dash laughed under her breath staring at the three plump fruits on the cowmare’s flank.
“Pfft you only wish,” Applejack huffed covering her bare blank with a swift flick of her tail.

“Oh wish I do, hey thanks for everything Aj It means a bunch,” the cyan mare sincerely nodded at her best friend.

“You know I’m always here for you, tell me whatever’s wrong whenever you’re ready my dear,” Applejack cooed yanking the Pegasus into a warm embrace, a feeling the two never have felt before.

"Just so you know,I think we should lay of the zap in the apples for now." Dash chuckled in her raspy voice holding her head closer to the friend she held dearly in her heart.

The Melody

Applejack watched silently as Rainbow Dash one by one blew out every candle in the room. The aroma of sweet smoke filled the air and dimmed the room into a more romantic atmosphere.

With a last huff the Pegasus flew immediately to the stage where she dug around until she found an old fiddle and matching bow, setting them on a stool atop the makeshift stage. Once more she flew up to the hung glowing lanterns and aimed there colorful lights at the set up Rainbow put together.

“Uh dare I ask what type of show you’re putting on their Dash?” Applejack questioned tilting her head to the side to get a better view at the stage.

“Me? Oh Jackie your so naïve at some times!” The Pegasus burst into of laughing fits, rolling around on the hardwood floor with no signs of stopping.

“I’m sorry what did you just call me?” The cowmare protested letting out a snort daring to challenge the brash Dash.

“That is your pet name to me, tonight you’re going to be my little pet and put on a show for yours truly!” Rainbow Dash slyly grinned pushing herself of the floor and motioning towards the stage. “You did kind of promise me you would make this night worthwhile, and I’m going to make sure that I have the most fun a future wonderbolt can ever have!”

With a stuttering cowmare at her side, Rainbow Dash pushed Aj up onto the stage and sat her down with instrument. She flew off onto the floor and stared anxiously at the confused earth pony beaming in the spectrum of light.

“Now then get to it, play for me Jackie,” the cyan mare commanded enjoying her power over her hostess tonight and all that was to come.

With a final breathe of nerves Applejack picked up the fiddle in one hoof and started to mess with the tuners at the top. After a moment of pure silence she set the fiddle upright against her bare neck and grabbed onto the bow of control into her other free hoof, and started to play.

Shaky movements of utter embarrassment started off making Rainbow Dash cringe in amusement but shortly after followed by the loveliest tune any pony as ever heard. It started to a slow ballad of high keys to low ones with the graceful precision movements of the wand in the mare’s hoof. She hummed along to the tune in her heavy accent closing her eyes into the movement of the song.

Rainbow Dash was breath taken on this mare’s graceful precision not missing a beat or string as the melody echoed throughout the empty cellar. Not before Rainbow was soon dozing into her own fantasy, Applejack stood up and bucked the stool out of her way almost slamming the Pegasus in the muzzle. She started to pick up the pace and was fiddling as hard as she could into a full on throw down. She opened her mouth as the most pure and passionate voice sang out for all but one measly Pegasus to hear. Applejack trotted back and forth getting into the groove with the tempo and without noticing, had made Rainbow Dash stomping her hooves to the song. It roared loudly and as she reached her climax as she let out a solo long note of her singing range with the voice of what seemed an angel crying out to the heavens.

All Rainbow Dash could do was stare in awe and amazement at this talented mare who got nothing more than a hard day’s work of labor and an unlimited amount of honest love to give to whomever she pleased.

The cowmare bowed with her blush blending into the lights as she wiped the non-existing sweat of her brow and smiled at her deserved applause.

“That alone made this one of the best nights ever, no defiantly the best night ever I have ever experienced Jackie!” Rainbow Dash cheered and hollered at the star struck earth pony.

“Aww shucks that was nothing, it was a tune my mother sued to play for us apples at regular hoedowns when I was a filly, guess it came naturally…,” Applejack sighed covering her face with her hat attempting to hold back flooding tears of memories of her parents.

After Applejack ran away to Manehatten to live with her auntie and Uncle Orange, her parents were still well alive taking care of the farm with Granny Smith and Big Mac. Another member were to be added to the ever extending family for Ajs’s mother was pregnant with another filly soon to be her younger sister. Unfortunately during an Apple delivery out of Pony Ville her parents were ambushed and her father was had to fend off every bandit with his courage and pure strength on his own due to Applejakc’s mother’s condition. In the end he had won but only with a dying breathe to the newborn filly that he named AppleBloom to represent a new flower as a new beginning to his beloved wife. Tired and very ill she made it back to the farm only to die at the front door with a young child in her hooves. Big Mac was the first to find them and has been scarred ever since not being able to speak many words converting himself into seclusion and lonesome. Once Applejack returned she was rejoiced to have had gotten her cutie mark to help carry on the apple legacy, but was forever ashamed of not being able to see her parents one last time. All that was left was her father’s proud Stetson that her mother brought back with her on top her head as that was passed down to Applejack, dependent on her to make the Apple family proud.

Rainbow Dash was shocked at the sudden change in mood for her friend and immediately went and embraced her just as they did before, only closer and without letting go. Applejack responded with tear filled eyes burying herself into the rainbow colored mane that soaked every drop of water she intended to shed.

“Oh Rainbow *sniff* I wasn't there for them, for mother and now they are both gone!” Applejack continued to cry hard into her friend, needing her support from her numb body. “That first part was my mother’s lullaby to me and the second my father’s ballad, Dashie It feels so alone with them gone!”

Rainbow Dash widened her eyes at the nickname and accepted its meaning and desperation of love her friend surely needed. She let go of Applejack and lifted her head ever so slightly with her hoof and wiped way droplets of tears streaming down her damp face.

“Listen Jackie, we all go through hard times but it doesn't mean it was your fault!” Rainbow Dash pleaded with her raspy voice desperate to see Aj’s smile again. “Your parents would have wanted you to be happy and live life the way they did without worrying what is to come in the future. What I always say is that if you have a problem then don’t worry, if you have a solution don’t worry and if you can’t fix it, then don’t worry. Life will take you ups and down roads you don’t even want to go down but in the end I think you learn a valuable lesson that will shape who you are meant to be in the future.”

Applejack sniffled at the Pegasus’s wisdom and stared lovingly into those round magenta eyes feeling at home dwelling there.

“Applejack I promise, from now on you will never and I mean never be alone,” Rainbow Dash spilled out to her friend and embraced her with utmost care and slightly nuzzled her cheek.

“Do,…do you Pinkie Promise?” Applejack giggled and held the Pegasus tighter as her wings wrapped around the both of them.

“Yes my little Jackie, Pinkie Promise,” Rainbow Dash answered, the most honest answer she ever told.

The Dance

“What are you doing now Rainbow? “ Applejack sighed watching the Pegasus dart all around the room again.

“You gave me a heck of a good time so far, I think I owe you a bit of a favor,” Rainbow Dash let out a giggle and turned on the Apple family’s old stereo she found while poking around. “I noticed you’re not exactly having just as fun as yours truly is having with you my little pet.”

“Enough with the games Rainbow Dash, what in tarnation is going on?” the apple flanked mare groaned in frustration at her friend.

“Dance with me Jackie, let me Dash you up with a bit of Rainbow,” the smooth mare hushed as she pulled the mare close and wrapped her hoof around her neck.

“Are ya’ll serious? I’m starting to doubt that cider wore of on you Dash,” Applejack rolled her eyes trying her best to hold back her built up laughter.

As if on cue the old stereo kicked in to some swinging jazz as Rainbow spun Aj across the room at incredible speeds as if she was in a tornado. Rainbow Dash casually trotted behind her with ease, pulled one of her hoofs out of the whirlwind of orange and dipped her nice and low.

“What happened to Dashie, Freckles?” Rainbow Dash teased as Applejack felt the stretching of her Pegasus’s muscles as her plump body was barely touching the hard ground. Rainbow played games with Applejack’s eyes flipping her tussled spectrum mane smirking with her hot pink eyes dominating any of the crystals that shone over head in the glistening chandelier.

“Huh, don’t even get me started Mrs. Crash,” the cowmare bluffed as her cheeks turned the color of ripe apples upon her freckled cheeks with her Stetson silently tumbling to the floor.

Rainbow Dash threw her in the air to her terrified friend’s surprise as the weather pony swung herself into the sweet beat of the music. The Pegasus stood up upon her hind legs swaying herself perfectly under the falling earth pony and catching her swiftly without a flinch.

“What’s wrong dirt kicker, having fun yet?” Rainbow Dash couldn't help but grin at the horrified expression on Applejack’s face.

“Ah..didn't know you were like this, cloud buster,” Aj gave in, letting the muffled radio sounds relax her ears as her eyes shut tight with pure confidence. “Do your worst, Dashie.”

“About time Apple butt, that’s what I’m talking about!” the rhythm of the song has reached its climax as Rainbow prepared Applejack for the grand finish.

The Pegasus launched her in the air once again as she took off and flew lap upon lap around the earth pony. Long tails of streaked spectrum surrounded the falling pony in a swirl of colors. The whole scene felt like a dream to Aj as she was caught before slamming to the ground and danced in mid-air with her fellow partner. Rainbow Dash controlled her every move guiding her into the air with strong flaps from her wings and landed safely on the thin rafters up high. Whenever Applejack slipped, her mistake ended up being a new move into the dance with Rainbow Dash playing along and keeping her close intact. As the song sung its last tune of
blaring saxophone, Rainbow lifted her precious mare into the sky with her own hooves as their loud moves echoed through the dusty upper level of the cellar. Afterwards the Pegasus slowly drifted down with her friend and placed her gently onto ground once more.

“You’re really something Rainbow, wherd you learn to groove like that? Applejack panted in between gasps of air.

“It’s just a little something you get when you bare the trait of being awesome,” Rainbow Dash bathed in the praise admiring the admiration on the mare’s face.

“That was the most fun I have had in a while, thank you my little Dashie,” Applejack breathed in a breath of pure joy and wrapped both her fore legs around the just as pleased Pegasus.

“Well don’t get used to it fast Jackie, our captivity will be over soon,” Rainbow nodded sincerely pushing the mare away.

“Oh uh yeah sure, right,” Applejack fumbled over her words as she let go of Rainbow Dash regaining her composure again as she secretly craved for more from her odd attractions to the mare in front of her.

“Sorry but look Applejack really got to go are you sure there isn't any other way out?” Rainbow pleaded getting antsy with every word.

“Why the sudden urge to leave again, we were having such a great time?” Applejack cried out to her friend more then she should have since this seemed to anger her even more.

“I gave you a good time and you owe me now Jackie, help me get out of this cramped space,” the cyan mare snapped stomping her hoof in aggravation.

“Are you telling me this was all a game just to have me be used to magically get you out?” the earth pony retorted trying to make sense of all the thoughts in her head.

“No, well I just gah Aj you’re a work pony and I want you to get me out I have to go!” Rainbow Dash roared losing all temper and standing face to face with the cowmare. “I will destroy the place piece by piece if I have to be set free unless you find a way for me to be going now!”

“I’m not going to destroy my own property to fall into your selfish bidding, I worked too hard to build this place ground up to just tear it back down,” the orange pony fought back, trying her hardest not to resort to pure anger. “It will be dawn soon so I would stop worrying your pretty little rainbow head and be patient, why not tell me why your important errand has turned you into a complete jerk!?”

“Don’t talk to me you worthless earth pony!” Rainbow Dash glared as she rose her hoof and gave a hard punch to Applejack across her muzzle.

Applejack collapsed to the ground from the shear impact of the surprise attack and rose fast to her hooves. She rubbed the muzzle that now started to bear a bruise as Applejack raised her own hoof to get payback on her so called friend. At the last moment before pounding the mare her hoof was brought back to her side as she felt small trickles of blood from her wound rolling down her lips. The blonde mare did her best to hold back her pain and closed her treasured yes not daring to look at the other pony in the room.
Rainbow Dash stared at the damage she had done due to her attack of anger and allowed for once to allow tears dwell in her eyes.

“I..I’m so sorry I didn't know what I was thinking and just, I’m sorry!” Rainbow cried out with stumbled words, approaching the mare with guilt in her eyes as the cowmare retorted.

“The worthless earth pony doesn't want to hear it,” Applejack shoved Rainbow’s apology aside as she walked behind the bar once more grabbing some leftover napkins and tended to her wounds, both outside and inside.

These two were known for bickering and fighting but never like this, never with utmost hatred that pain was the only option. Rainbow Dash tried to block out all the thoughts and feelings in her head when she cracked and let her toned body slump to the floor in a puddle of cider, blood and tears.

Silence. Silence was all that filled the empty space of the empty room and in each of the ponies that lie there, in their hearts. A muffled cry or sniffling of another’s muzzle was the only sound that broke the quiet solemnness of the confined space, but not for long.

“A-Applejack, you know I didn’t mean it right?” Rainbow Dash whimpered reaching out for any sign of hope that could regain her and her best friend’s friendship.
Nothing.

“Please I, I need you ok it’s not what it seems!” the Pegasus continued to plead in desperation.

Still nothing.

“I ruined tonight it’s all my fault and I’m really sorry, now will you come out of your hiding place and forgive me already?” Dash fidgeted with her hooves hoping it would be this easy.

“Fine be that way! Whatever I say you don’t care anymore, so I might as well trust you with my story like I did with yours, you’re not even listening!” Rainbow Dash began to rise with furry but was stopped by the tears crashing like waves out of her blood shot eyes and puffy eyelids.

“My parents weren't the best family anypony could know, not the worst but could have been better. The two were into all kinds of pleasures Equestria had to offer, drinking every night and smoking herbs from the deepest part of the Everfree forest. Anyway my dad is in control of the weather factory, he is the big boss so he is as rich as you can be. Mom didn't work but one day the two didn't know what they were doing and she was pregnant with me. Dad wanted a little colt to raise as his own and have him someday take over the weather factory and be a wealthy successor stallion to him. I was born and my Dad was not too excited about that but when mom was around she kept him in check and even let me see if Cloudsdale was going to hold the Equestrian games with him. My parents fought days without end due to all their foul consumption afterwards and eventually mom left, so then it was just the two of us me and dad. He ignored me whenever he could so I decided I wanted to prove to him that I could be that colt he always wanted. I tried out in all the sports teams I could as such a young filly and did whatever I had to, to be part of the guys. They of course didn't like that and eventually I grew to have an attitude and no patience once so ever for anyone who got in my way.”

Rainbow Dash continued to ramble as without her noticing, as Applejack peered over the bar and listening to her friend’s story.

“That was when I met Fluttershy,I defended her against those bullying brutes since even though I was tough and vicious I missed allowing myself to be a girl and she represented that to its fullest. So you know the rest, they challenged me to a race and with all my training I have won and even preformed a sonic rainboom while getting my cutie mark. I was so happy, so happy Applejack I thought that at that moment my dad would be proud of me and my accomplishment. To my surprise when I got home he was in another one of his drunken states, I have already gotten used to but It was more severe this time. He missed mom and hated having me around to remind him of that. I showed him my new found cutie mark and the rainbow outside that my sonic rainboom has made but he didn't give a damn and just straight up gave me a blow across my face just like I did to you. He was so confused and angry, and here I was not being able to do anything about it. The hurtful swings of pain came around more often and I had no choice but to suffer through them, because he is my dad and regardless I loved him! Once I was older I got my own place, my exquisite cloud palace. It is so gorgeous and completely fancy since I was already so rich because of dad. I followed his footsteps and got a job as a weather pony but didn't take it seriously since there was no point if I was already set for life with all my wealth. I visited my dad sometimes but no matter how hard I tried he never seemed to let me into his heart. Sometimes I even considered herbs to enhance my athletic ability, just going to show how hard I wanted someone to be there for me. The Wonderbolts were my only true hope and inspiration out of the rut my life was in. After the gala I joined the Wonderbolts academy and today I was going to be having a private meeting with Spitfire since she believes I have pure potential. I thought if I became a wonderbolt then maybe just once I will be able to see my daddy smile, but now I not only lost my mom and dad…but my best friend being my only source of love and I just don’t know what to do!”

Rainbow Dash broke out into more uncontrollable sobs, grasping at the floor for comfort. Without a word Applejack stood up and calmly approached the Pegasus.

“Stop it go away! I don’t need you anymore and you don’t need me and you don’t love me and-“ Rainbow Dash cried out as Applejack laid down beside her and caressed her head on her lap.

“No one will ever accept my apologies so whatever I’m sorry! Leave me alone you stupid-“Rainbow Dash continued to bail, fidgeting with anger in the earth pony’s hold.

“Rainbow Dash!” Applejack cooed her name.

“What?!” the Pegasus yelled letting the last of her tears soak into her already damp cheeks.

“Shut up.” Applejack hushed and meant what she said by closing her lips onto Rainbow’s.

The two friends have never shared a kiss with anyone before let alone between each other. They were always taught that one day a brave stallion would whisk them away from all there problems and bring them endless joy, but this was different. Love comes in many forms, family, and friends, and lovers but never as deep and sentimental did this kiss show the both of them providing the felling of energy sparking between the two’s lips and hearts.

Applejack pressed hard onto Rainbow’s lips with full passion and love making the surprised Pegasus go limp in her arms. Rainbow Dash pushed back onto her friend competing with her pressure, keeping a deep loving meaning and nourished every taste of sweet cinnamon she tasted on her companions lips. Eventually the kiss broke with two dazed mares both confused and scared yet happy and full of bliss.

“I’m so sorry I called you all those rude names, you’re the most hardworking and kind pony that has ever been able to enter my life,” Rainbow Dash started to tear up again, but this time tears of joy. “I missed you Jackie!”

“Me to sugercube,” Applejack whispered embracing her new found lover.

“This even for me is kind of weird, but I have never felt so much love come into me in all my life! Applejack I want this…us, to last.” Rainbow confessed digging her muzzle into the earth pony’s blonde mane. “I do admit I have been a filly fooler in the past since I was so desperate for pleasure, but you have changed everything now though and this time I’m being fully honest.”

“I know it is sudden Dashie, but I know we can get through anything now!” Applejack smiled nuzzling her bruised muzzle on Dash’s. “Everything will be alright and no matter what happened in the past know our future together will be even better.”

“Oh gosh your injury, babe are you alright?” Rainbow broke the sentimental moment with a hint of worry in her eyes, just now noticing the gash now turning odd shades of purple on her friend, inspecting the flesh wound.

“Aww it’s nothing, I have been through much worse down here on the farm!” Aj sighed noticing the magenta eyes still gazing at her.

“I promise that will never happen to you anymore, as long as doctor Dash is here to make you feel all better sweet cheeks!”
Rainbow Dash smirked giving light pecks at Applejack’s bruise that tickled the cowmare’s senses. “While I’m at it I might as well throw in the full checkup”

Rainbow Dash beamed getting an approval from Applejack and pecked all over her cheeks and forehead. The sensation became overwhelming to Applejack feeling her body heat up all over with raindrops of love sprinkling onto her tender face.
Just as Rainbow made it back to Aj’s lips her ears immediately perked up sensing something wasn't right. Her wings stood up and her eyes darted in all directions trying to focus on where the odd screeching noise was coming from. Suddenly without barely a warning of Applejack’s scream,Rainbow Dash tackled her freind to the other side of the room just seconds before the chandelier crashed into the hardwood floor where flames started to dance.

The Fire

The once gorgeous provider of light now was smashed to smithereens of crystal that rested upon the hardwood floor. The candles collided with the hard surface and in perfect harmony, allowing the flames to spread and grow. Being a confined space the pitch black smoke easily rose to the rafters and continued to create a layer of toxin dark swirls of pollutant. The powerful element payed no mind to the two ponies still stunned on top of one another, the earth pony being underneath the Pegasus, away from the flames. Eventually the fire reached the treasure of an emerald gem as it devoured its presence and left a bright green liquid in its path that seeped into the now charcoaled floor boards.

“Rainbow Dash you saved my life! “ Applejack stuttered in shock as she watched her gorgeous cellar slowly be consumed by shades of yellow’s and deep oranges.

“I haven’t saved you yet freckles, come on we have to get out of here now!” Rainbow shouted among the loud crackles of the fire as she scoped up Aj, flying towards the door overhead.

The smoke rose too high for the Pegasus to fly in the deadly conditions and collapsed with Applejack still in her arms onto the bar. As if on cue the weak wooden stairs leading to the still sealed exit collapsed into the burning depths below leaving no way out.

“It can’t end like this!” Rainbow Dash cried out in a furry leaving her friend on the bar table and flying as best as she could to the cider. She yanked at the nozzle until some leftover liquid started to slowly spill out onto the flames below. Thinking it would put out the fire, the Pegasus was mistaken as the alcoholic elements caused the flames to rise up upon her and burned Rainbow Dash severely. She was sent back flying onto the bar and gasped desperately for air as she felt the harsh pain of her hoof turning into a scar. A cry out in pain was all she could let out as she was caressed by the cowmare as best as she could without hurting her more.

“Are you alright Rainbow, come on Dashie please answer me!” The earth pony pleaded at her friend who was now smeared in smoke patches that scattered throughout her toned cyan body.

“I’m *cough* fine but it doesn't look like *cough* I’m going to make it Aj!” Rainbow sighed through coughs as she gave up hope on finding a way out. “How did this all happen Applejack?”

“Well I *cough* assume our dancing earlier up there caused this here mishap my dear,” the orange mare responded with a look of concern sprawling onto her face.

“No not that mean us.” Rainbow Dash muffled with a slight grin spreading on her face. “Even If I die right here and right now I wouldn't want to change one single thing knowing my last moments were with you Jackie.”

“Don’t speak such nonsense Rainbow, we are going to be just fine ah promise!” Applejack stifled a few tears staring endlessly into the flames slowly creeping upon to the risen bar.

“Well If *cough* this is the end I want to end it *cough* with a proper farewell to my best friend!” Rainbow Dash ignored Applejack’s soothing words as she barely was able to reach below the bar and pulled out two mugs. She leaned her burden of a hoof as far as she could from her position and was able to fill the two mugs with just the right amount of cider that was left.

“To us!” she handed the extra mug of cider to Applejack as she clung them together and both downed the now warm liquid and savored every drop that found its way down their throats.

After the two finished their drinks they rested for a moment in silence coughing every once in a while becoming more frequent by the minute. Rainbow Dash wasn't about to have this though, she loved this cowmare more then she could ever have imagined and she knew It couldn't be the end of her beloved friend. Even if it meant her passing away in the process.

Before Rainbow could react Applejack slammed her onto the bar in a weak kiss allowing entrance for her tongue to slip between her lips. They fought for dominance with tongues intertwining until the two let go for a small gasp of what air was left for them.

“If you’re going to leave me today sugercube, I want to end it the best way possible” Applejack pleaded as she tried her best not to show fear that rushed through her adrenaline.

“Hey, I believe I’m the one who owes you *cough* the finale my apple flanked mare” Rainbow Dash said cherishing every word she could muster with her short amount of breath.

She rolled over so Applejack was below her as her lips trailed all throughout the earth pony’s body giving short pleasures throughout. With utmost care the brash Pegasus did her best to give caring pecks of wet kisses down her neck and onto her soft belly. She tilted her head then to nibble affectionately on her cutie marked flank and never felt such a profound joy of the pleasure she was giving her mare friend.

“Stop...*cough* you don’t have to *cough* do this, Dashie!” Applejack squeaked from her comfortable state.

Rainbow Dash remained silent as she did the best with the remaining energy in her to grind on top her lover below continuing to spread kisses as much as she could. Everything in that moment was so wrong yet felt right for the two of them as they made love in the pool of flames that circled them. The Pegasus panted and sweat through the intense heat of the room and the pleasure she was providing to herself and her friend. She turned then to only see the fire rise high and barely light Applejack’s gorgeous blonde mane and tail her muzzle dove into dearly.

Before all the life was sucked out of her, with great pain she pushed herself off of the cowmare and stepped her hooves into the flames below. She screamed in pain as she rushed herself to the far end of the room picking up an object and tucking it under her scorched wings. Her cries of agony were barely heard by the earth pony who was now passed out from inhaling the smoke above. Rainbow Dash pushed herself beyond what her body could be capable of and eventually lifted herself on top the bar once more. She spread her wings as far as they could go and covered her body on top the earth pony to shield her from the incoming flames that nipped at Rainbow’s tail. She knew if someone noticed the fire at this time of dawn Applejack would live for the Pegasus shielded her from the deadly element below.

“I love * cough* you Apple -,” Rainbow whispered in her dying breath and collapsed her aching head.

When Granny Smith felt something was wrong, it always meant there was something wrong as the old grandmother sat up from her napping place in her rocking chair. She looked out the window to the rising sun the cast shadows along the grand orchard with birds chirping in the breeze. Everything seemed fine but she knew better then to simply scan the overall calm scenery. Her old legs wobbled as she stepped onto the porch as her old eyes weren't mistaken by seeing the sudden surprise of black clouds seeping through the cellar.

The Storm

She couldn't feel anything, a pounding head ached as ears rung out in pain. Her eyes remained shut for Applejack was too frightened to open them against the harsh light shining on her eye lids. The earth pony’s mind was all a blur and she couldn't figure out where or why she was in such a state, she needed to remember what happened and place things in order where they chronologically stood. The sounds, the tastes the smells all danced through her head of confused clouds and fog. Applejack took a deep breath as she licked her lips tasting the faint remains of her famous cider. Cider, the cellar, zapapple cider, zapapples rainbow’s, fire.

“Rainbow Dash!” Applejack shouted out in distress as she bolted her eyes open to the world.

All that responded to her voice was the silence of the pattering rain outside the window on her right. She rubbed her eyes and realized that she was in her bedroom inside her bed of a quilted blanket and hand stitched pillows resting below her head. Rain trickled down her wooden window pane that created a soothing sound that calmed Applejack’s nerves. The marmalade mare shifted her position as she slid herself gently out of bed feeling an unwanted sting of pain rush to her lungs. Her coughing sent her wheezing for air as she collapsed back into her warm bed as the sound of rambling hooves approached outside her door.

“Sis you’re alright!” Aj’s younger kin Applebloom bounced into the room and launched herself onto her older sister.

Applebloom nuzzled herself into Applejack’s shoulder as her Granny Smith hobbled into the room followed by her older brother Big Mac.

“Oh Applejack, we are so relieved to see that you’re okay,” Granny smith chimed taking a seat across from the wooden bed frame.

“What happened granny? “ Applejack questioned without hesitation as she held the hyper filly in her hooves.

“Well I was disturbed during my nap from that fire you managed to start in the cellar youngin!” the old granny declared. “You were able to lock yourself in and I didn't have the key so Big Mac had to bust down the door and put out the fire!”

“Yeah it was real scary, you had us worry sis!” Applebloom whined as she hugged her sister harder having her grand bow shoved into Applejack’s face.

“Eeyup,” Big Mac simply stated with a hint of concern in her dark eyes.

“Well If I’m here, where is Rainbow Dash?” Applejack panicked darting her eyes around the rooming expecting her to be in her sight.

“Calm down there youngin, you weren’t in that much of a bad condition so we took it upon ourselves to let your rest and get that nasty smoke out of your lungs!” Mrs. Smith sighed resting her head on the thick carved bedframe in front of her. “Your friend was mighty wounded from guarding you from that there fire so she had to be rushed to the hospital lickety split!”

“She, saved my life?” Applejack stuttered choking on her breathe and did her best to hold back swelling tears.

“Don’t you worry now child I’m sure she is doing just fine, her condition was quite severe though but she is a strong one and I don’t believe she will go down without a fight dearie.” Granny rambled on increasing the grief in Applejack’s heart. “I don’t understand why she was laying on top of you like that though, what were you two up to?”

Applejack had enough of this as she rolled out of bed sending the light Applebloom flying, landing on her older brother. Applejack hacked a few more weak coughs as she lazily slumped her way to the door turning around to look at her family once more.

“There is something that I have to do, thank you very much for all your love and care but there is somepony that needs it more than I do right now” Applejack merely whispered as she trotted out the door in utter silence.

“Well I outah teach that girl some manners!” Granny smith grumbled as she headed towards the door to follow Aj.

“Yeah, why is she acting so strange?” Applebloom curiously squeaked as she trailed being her granny.

“Leave her be, she knows what she’s doing,” Big Mac commanded shocking both apple family members in their wake as the trio sat to the floor watching the cowmare gallop through the rain outside the window.

Applejack ran as fast as her aching legs could take her coughing harshly gasping for breathe at every turn. Her eyes were blinded by the oncoming downpour blending into her tears streaming down her matted face. Her mane flew out of there scarlet ribbons as her blonde strands flowed behind her, following every movement. The earth pony clenched the basket in her mouth that held her sentiments for her dear Pegasus friends she ran helplessly though the roars of thunder and mud latching onto her hooves.

At last she reached the ponyville hospital barely being able to keep up her set pace much longer. A lightning bolt cracked through the sky as Applejack scurried into the waiting room drenched in rain water and sweat.

“I-I’m here to see uh Rainbow-Dash” Applejack shivered in fear and set her gift onto the counter, wrapping her hooves around herself attempting to get warm.

The startled secretary simply tilted her glasses forward and pointed down the hallway to room number 1, without a second chance to blink as the earth pony quickly trotted towards the door as she gazed at the number etched above her.
Her number one hero was inside this room, her first best friend was in hooves’ reach. Most of all though, her first love was beyond here as she swallowed her anxiety dreading what has happened to her dearest friend as she opened the screeching door.
She silently walked in closing the loud piece of wood behind her as she set her basket on the nightstand beside the lying Pegasus. Applejack scanned her best friend weeping softly at all the trouble and wounds she caused her friend. Rainbow Dash’s back hooves were raised in stretched bandages above the bed in simple slings to cure her burns and scars that trailed up her legs. Her fur was still scorched with smoke stains and burn marks that trailed up her neck to her face where her magenta eyes were shut closed. Dash’s wings were bandaged at the tips hiding pitch black ruffled feathers underneath clashing with her strong build of her wings.

“A’hm so-sorry Rainbow Dash, what have I done to you!” Applejack allowed her full-fledged tears flood her face as she buried her face in though the sleeping Pegasus who’s mane scented of cider and smoke. “I’m lost without you, please come back to me Dashie, I really love you.”

Tears continued to trickle onto her friend’s cheeks as she choked on her own feelings that scattered through her head. All those times they challenged each other through stupid games of dares and activities that either got them in trouble or hurt in some way, shape or form. In the end it was always worth it, if one of them went down the other went down with her and that was the way they liked it. Having someone that knew each other so well in any time of need, to push ones buttons and on the verge of her limits. After being underestimated by everyone in was always meant to rely on the one Pegasus that understood her every action as they would bicker without end out of pure competition and dominance that proved there friendship.

The way they clanged mug after mug of cider downing the liquid that took away all there problems. The sweet juice they shared and experienced pleasures no one else could. Cider wasn't a delicious drink that Applejack could get lost in, no it meant much more now. Her nectar was symbolic of her relationship with rainbow Dash and all the two have been through. When you first take a sip the taste is bitter and strong being it hard to get used to like the Pegasus. After it reaches your core though it gives you happiness you can’t get enough of being addicted to one another’s company. Just like her friend, she abused and pushed her to far causing an addiction to her friend she held dear and she didn't want to go to rehab and forget about her, not like this.

“Well, look who came to see her Dashie, my little pony,” Rainbow Dash awoke from her slumber as she sputtered in light coughs.

“Y-you’re okay, oh Rainbow you scared me half to death,” Applejack beamed as she embraced her friend as she nuzzled her with utmost care.

“Yeah I have a tendency to have that effect on other ponies,” Rainbow Dash sighed accepting the warm embrace feeling the tender hooves embrace her sore body. “Hey babe I brought something, your truly aren't yourself without it!”

Rainbow Dash motioned under her hospital bed as Applejack retrieved her signature item, her Stetson. It was stained with embers and burn marks around the rim but she didn't care, she was so happy to have it back. Slyly the earth pony flipped it onto her head and couldn't help feel tears, tears of joy swelled up once again in the cowmare’s strained eyes.

“You’re really something special Dashie,I brought something for you to honey,” Applejack sniffled as she reached for her basket.

“Hope it’s a wedding proposal, that wouldn't be half bad,” the cyan mare cackled her raspy laugh as Applejack merely blushed and rolled her damp eyes.

The earth pony handed a mug to Rainbow and took one for herself as she poured a small keg of sweet, apple cider into each container.

“Always keep an extra bottle just in case, so without a second to spare here is to us!” Applejack cheered as the two willingly swigged a long gulp of cider that activated memories and held a new meaning in each of their hearts.

“Your full of surprises Jackie, my gosh though your freezing!” Rainbow slurred noticed the freezing mare before her. “Come tuck in with me freckles, I believe we have some un-finished business to do.”

“You read my mind!” Applejack grinned through her country slang as she snuggled under the thin covers, resting her body against the warm beating heart of her Pegasus lover.

Without another so much as a hush of words the two snuggled up tight and continued where the left off sharing love between their two bodies. Rainbow’s restricted movement couldn't stop the cowmare to crawl on top of the friend she held dear gazing into each other’s sorrowful eyes of crystal color. Applejack planted her seeds of kisses among the Pegasus’s neck to her lips growing flowers of pleasure on the brash mare with tongues clashing in perfect harmony. Rainbow Dash returned the favor using her raised legs to her advantage engrossing her marehood to her friend on top of her causing a passionate caring sensation between there special areas. The two explored each other’s body to its fullest feeling every tender muscle and delicate curves. Their weak bodies moved in utter warmth until the two were done fighting for dominance and Applejack softly collapsed on top her friend.

“Are you sure you’re alright with this, with us Dashie?” the blonde mare mumbled under hot breathes across the Pegasus’s chest.

“You worry too much work horse, now shut up and let me say I love you Applejack,” Rainbow stated placing her misty lips on her forehead before the two laid there in each other’s hooves until they fell asleep to the beating of their hearts and the crashing thunder outside that concocted a perfect storm.

The End
