An aging sea captain returns to a beach he visited a long time ago and reflects on the events that ocurred there in his youth.

Sometimes, a pony wants to say something personal or important to another, but cannot. As such, they write letters expressing their feeling, only to not send it.

The following is a series of letters addressed to different ponies, some happy, some depressing.

Loosely based off of All Quiet on the Western Front

Sun Spark, a student at the Canterlot University, enlists in the Royal Army during a war in order to seek glory and recognition.

Follow his journey through the entries of his journal and see how he copes with the realities of war and the horrors of the trenches.
