Arcbolt grenades are good...in PvP. Storm grenades are alright, but the Storm grenade's bolts are a bit more sporadic and less reliable than the Arcbolt. In my opinion, grenades are a good tradeoff for a Super that lasts twice as long, does Apotheosis Veil's job, allows for more DPS overall than grenades, and allows me to outlast and/or outrun Bladedancers or pissed off Hammer Titans.

Pair it with Landfall from Impossible Machines, and you got something more reliable and destructive than self-resurrect, assuming one can time it right.

Doesn't mean that I can't use grenades at all with the build, but I'd have to wait for them to recharge to take full advantage of Transcendence, even taking into account max discipline, when I could otherwise be blasting people with Stormtrance.

Why? the arc bolt and storm grenades are actually pretty good. With some increased throw distance perks, you can drop Zeus' fury on anyone from across the map!

(Pulled that off on a sniper in trials once, he didn't know what hit him! )

I usually run max armor/Impossible Machines/Transcendence/Ionic Blink. I don't find Stormcaller grenades very useful, and I carry around a sword, so I don't use melee or grenades. You can just super if you ever get in trouble, restoring all health and disorienting enemies below while being tanky enough with the extra armor to survive everything else. And if not, Ionic Blink is a good tool for escaping. And should you ever need extra agility, run Multi-Tool.

Alchemist's Raiment/Monte Carlo (or Tlaloc)/Feedback loop is great as well, especially if teammates are around, but I don't like Stormcaller grenades.
