Princess Luna finds more than a friend in her sister's student, and Twilight Sparkle gets a chance to study the moon and stars far closer than she ever dreamed possible.
An ongoing series of slice-of-life snapshots. Expect a castle's worth of clop-free d'aaawww.

Game, Set, Match - Twilight tries her hoof at arena combat. Victory or defeat, she's sure to end up a winner with this opponent.
Countdown - Luna swore she'd never do this again, but there's something about that little librarian from Ponyville that tests her resolve.
Twilight Hustle - Rarity's heard some steamy rumors about Twilight and gathers the girls to dish juicy gossip.
Every Morning After - Twilight and Luna shared a wonderful, magical night; unfortunately, immortal Princesses sometimes forget about thousand-year-old laws which could ruin the mood ever so slightly.

Great Minds Think Alike - Cadance and Celestia's plan for Twilight and Luna comes to a head, slightly off schedule.
Third Time's the Charm - Twilight's Nightmare Night costumes aren't cutting it. Now Luna's in town, and that may change her opinion on what makes a proper costume.
THAT Letter - Luna and Twilight have to tell Celestia how serious their relationship has become, and they decide to send a letter. Surely they couldn't disagree about how to make such a simple announcement - could they?
Early Observances - If you're going to interrupt Celestia's sleep, you'd better have a very good reason.
Your Turn - Twilight and her friends reveal some personal secrets, and Twilight's is life-changing.
Trembling Joyful Whispers- The Big Day is here for Twilight and Luna! Hear the congregation's comments as events unfold.
The Power Vested in Me- The Big Day is here, but Luna and Twilight are so very, very far from ready. Will their fears get the better of them?
Awkward - Twilight and Shining Armor have dinner with their parents along with Luna and Cadance. They'll probably wish they'd ordered takeout instead.
Absence - Luna deals with a thousand years of angst all at once; maybe she just needs a gentle helping hoof to make sense of it all.
You Were There - A quiet night between Luna and Twilight is almost derailed by a lesson in ancient mythology.
Between Sun and Moon - Luna reads a bedtime story with which she is all too familiar.
Postcards from the Edge - Twilight leaves to study abroad for three months; in her absence, Luna has a stack of mail to open.
Insert Princess T into Slot S - Twilight want to be Princess of Something. Careful what you wish for!
Ups and Downs - Newly-crowned Princess Twilight needs flying lessons. Careful whom you ask!

I'm glad that my little story about two ponies still being in love met with your approval! The Fave of The Father of My Children means quite a bit to me.

Thank you for calling Dunsany, Derleth, Smith, and Lovecraft, this is Nyarlathotep speaking, how may we help you?
I do have a theory that Celestia's mane isn't really pink and teal and purple, it's actually The Color Out of Space.
You like Lovecraft.
Today I learned.

It's a funny story, the first time I played paintball...
--
It was the last minute of the final game of the day, and I felt like it was definitely something I'd like to try again.
"Mercy!" I heard from close behind. After dropping my gun and raising my hands, I turned around and sized him up, then noticed that the canister for the ammunition seemed empty. We were going to lose anyway, but hey, I guess I couldn't just abandon the game.
"You're out of ammo," I said, motioning to the clear plastic container.
He rolled his eyes. "No, I'm not."
"Really!?"
"Really."
I reached back for my gun, and immediately, at a speed that felt way over the 330 km/h (300 fps) limit, a paintball found its way onto my throat, the only part of me that wasn't protected by at least a layer of clothing.
"You know, you could have just shot my gun, or some other part of my body, or somewhere that doesn't hurt as much," I said, feeling my throat starting to bruise.
"Yeah, but it's much more fun this way."

A couple of days later, my dad handed me a glossy card in board stock, the exterior of which revealed little.. "Happy birthday, kid," he said.
I flipped open the card. Inside were ten vouchers to a paintball facility. I looked up, forced a smile, and said, "Thanks, but no thanks."
I never played paintball again.

>When I moved away from there, I started playing less and less thanks to higher costs and less free time.
The only city I saw on the map close to there is Allentown... you used to live there?
>One day I looked in my closet and saw a huge collection of gear and realized I hadn't played in over a year, and decided that was it.
Aw, man, that feeling must suck.

Here you go, and thanks to you, my OC's name is now officially Mossy Oak:
About paintball... I used to play constantly, and in fact I was a paintball referee for a couple of years at Skirmish USA - yes, I reffed "Invasion of Normandy" more than once. When I moved away from there, I started playing less and less thanks to higher costs and less free time. One day I looked in my closet and saw a huge collection of gear and realized I hadn't played in over a year, and decided that was it. Sold it all off. I may get back into it one day, but for now I barely have enough time to fish, hunt, and live. Pony is just a bonus, a little reward I enjoy on the side. You can still see my PB gear collection on my YouTube channel (example here), where I posted videos of my stuff when I eBay'd it.
Here's a test video from my gun camera - fast forward to about 2:00 to see me blast two guys.

What? Who? Where? Jumpin' Jeezuz on a pogo stick, when did I become well-known?
Barn was fun - didn't see that ending coming at all. I figured it would be "AJ's okay with it" or something similar, but the twist was handled well and made for a good lunch hour story. Also, the bit about RD being a screamer - that's classic!
Hey, man! Thanks for your favorite on The Barn
It's always humbling when a well-known writer sees my work.

Also
"I used to play paintball in it"
"Used to"? Why did you stop?

Oh, so why don't you make the pony's "coat" (I'm sorry) in camo?
The dogboy is too cute for his own good :D
