Why is it that lately in a lot of fanfic's I've been reading people have been calling Rainbow Dash by the name of the pony she was based off of Firefly, or in some fic's cases editing there story and calling her by both names it gets a little confusing there. For example  Flying High, Falling Hard by soundslikeponies calls her at the start of the first chapter Firefly but a few paragraphs later calls her Dash and this continues throughout the story.

Another thing is if they decide to start a story starring Firefly they should remember she doesn't have the same exact color scheme or cutie mark as Rainbow Dash.
