The stories I'm currently most obsessed with [2nd-Person Fic starring you and Twilight Sparkle]
Singularity. Solitude. Loneliness. All three words describe the same thing: your existence. Knowing only one other being of your kind, you've grown sick of what you are and that which restricts you: your form. With your form comes an innate sense of anonymity, one you are forced into obeying by one thing: your family. Down in your spirits, you long for a life among those who you're forced to avoid, a chance at replacing it all with the help of one creature: your newest friend.
A/N: Finally, the Twilight Sparkle story I've been teasing at so much. Differing from my previous works, this one comes with a different set of 'legs,' you could say. Ha, get it, because you don't really have...legs...hm.
Just wanted to see what direction I could take the idea of seaponies in. Hope it turns out well!
Enjoy, folks!

[2nd Person Fic starring you and Derpy Hooves]
It's just an average day for you at the lettuce stand when you are greeted by Ponyville's resident mail mare. Though this normally wouldn't be out of the ordinary, she seems to be sporting some...strange gear.
A/N: I always feel like my descriptions are too short. The actual description part, not the Author's Notes part.
ANYWAY, this is my Derpy story! Inspired almost SOLELY by a picture I saw. I'll put it in the author's notes of the actual story, as to avoid spoilers here.
I started writing this about a week ago, just before Christmas. Once I started, I challenged myself to finish it before the year ended. And what do ya know, I did! Didn't publish it before then, but still...I felt accomplished.
...Totally pointless information, but I thought I might as well share it.
I don't have too much to say here. So I'll just end this off with the traditional:
Enjoy folks!
[2nd-Person Fic starring you and Vinyl Scratch]
Being a human, you are quite the unique specimen. Though you stand out among pastel-colored ponies in your wake, your form does allow for something many ponies aren't properly equipped for. A certain DJ took notice of this specialty, and decided to take you under her wing...
A/N: Just a simple one-shot with Vinyl Scratch. Yes, another story inspired by music. Seems to be my best inspiration, music does.
Rated [Saucy] by SFG's rating system. Be prepared for some heat!
Enjoy!

READ THIS DESCRIPTION. ALL OF IT.
[2nd-Person Fic starring you and Rainbow Dash]
Having turned away from the spotlight, you preferred to distance yourself from fame and popularity. Instead, you chose to live a simple life away from the crowds and fortune. But when you meet a multicolored mare with an unusual request, can you find it in yourself to go for the gold again?
A/N: Okay, this is going to make very little sense at first, but just bear with me.
So I've been playing a ton of Kid Icarus: Uprising lately. It is hella fun, and Sakurai did an amazing job at revitalizing the series. It has easily stolen the spot of "favorite 3DS title" in my heart, and I can't put it down.
So you're probably wondering, "what does Kody's videogame preferences have anything to do with a romance story involving Rainbow Dash?" Well, everything, actually.
A friend of mine noticed my new addiction to this title. He knows I write about ponies, and as such, he jokingly made a bet with me saying that I should write a story in which I use music from said game in every chapter. I shrugged it off and ignored it at first, but I went and started to listen to the soundtrack. Somehow, I developed a plan and storyline from doing so. Now, this story won't reflect the events or storyline from this title. It is entirely original.
The rules I was given are simple:
1. The music must come from Kid Icarus: Uprising.
2. At least one song must be used in each chapter. More than one song is viable.
3. The same song may not be used more than once.
4. Remixes or fan-made renditions of songs are not allowed.
5. The song must be used in a way that enhances the reading experience. I can't just toss a song in and say 'mission accomplished.' It must complement the events and make sense.
Now, I know what you are thinking, and yes. This is really weird. But hey, it worked, and this story was born as a result.
EDIT: It has been brought to my attention that some of the songs used in the story are blocked in certain countries. As much as I would love to get this fixed, I'm afraid I don't have much of a way around this. If this affects you, I apologize deeply.
This is how it works. When you get to a bit of blue text such as this, that's a link to the song. Open it in a new tab and continue reading as the music plays. Simple. When you get to some red, underlined text, that is the cue to stop the music. Sometimes, that cue may not be there, and the song is meant to play until the end of the chapter. Songs don't carry over to other chapters, however.
The music is not required for the reading experience. It is entirely optional. Well, for you it is.
I hope you enjoy my nerd-ery!

[2nd-Person Fic starring you and Opalescence]
Life's tough for a stray. With all doors shut at your presence, you can only take what you can get. Which isn't much. If only there were some light at the end of the tunnel to help keep you going.
Perhaps that lovely Persian can change your views...
A/N: No. I don't know. And I'm not sorry. At all.
I wrote this at two in the morning. My friend was yelling at me the entire time.
...God. Why do I do this to myself.
Hey, I was wondering when Step Up, Don't Suck would update. It's been kinda killing me to want to know what happens!
I severely enjoyed Scorched, Turbulence , and Rejuvenate. They were possibly the highlight of what I read yesterday. Turbulence made me laugh... a lot, and for that I thank you.
The only really negative about all these stories that I found is the cliched, it ended. I know good things must come to an end, but, why were they so good. It killed my soul when I reached the final chapter
Birthday happy fun times ass blaster!
Message for ya ser
Hey there! I'm here to tell you in a most hippocritical fashion: Conitnue Something About Her! It's hippocritical 'cause I've been horrible about updating my own fics. But frankly I don't care, 'cause your fic is better than mine are, and I want more. A lot. So... please?
Sincerely,
Venter (On behalf of hundreds more).
Hello, Mr. Awesome person, a.k.a. Kody910. I first learned about you through the story "Scorched", and as I read many more of your stories ("Turbulence", "The Wub Carries On"), I was able to see the brilliance in your writing style, and how awesome you actually are.
I am the Approver, and I approve of this message.
Hello sir or madame,
I am Obsidian Raindrop the creator of a group known as The Great and Not Obsessive Trixie I am here to ask if you would like your story to be added to my group.
The only requirements are:
1. You have a story about Trixie and she is not completely obsessing over her lose at the hands of Twilight. (She can hate that she lost to twilight and even try and beat again but she just can't be be so obsessive like she is in most stories. )
2. She may be a supporting character or a main character it does not matter.
3. i can`t think of a third thing
Sorry to all those who either received this email twice or who don`t have trixie as a main or supporting character. Also just PM me if you want your story added.
Hello,
It's me Obsidian again asking you guys to do stuff you don't want to.
1. tell me the name of your story and the one folder you want it in
2.join the group it is really cool and we'll soon get a banner up
3. fallow because it will boost my confidence
Yours truly, Obsidian Raindrop
>>291017 Well, AJ also made "Rise from the Ashes" canon, so you can't exactly dismiss it. Heh... Also, the story didn't leave me wanting to examine things like the other games, and it seemed more like the game was just leading me along through its plot.
As for gameplay mechanics, I liked a lot of them, but to be honest, they should have made them more frequent. Ema barely did anything, when you recall her presence, and what she did, you pretty much only get one experience with unless you replay the game (hilarious, since the lottery ticket in 4-4 that she brings up to test the scanner, can actually win, OR lose).
Everything ended up "going as planned", but the idea of criminals actually being smart enough to get out of things, made the Jurist System necessary. Klavier was pretty cool, but seemed too emotionally 'detatched' compared to any and all other prosecutors, including Edgeworth.
Kristoph basically represented "devotion to law", so I didn't mind it so much with him. Also, it was good that a "First case" in a game would actually FEEL significant. I'll defend AJ as a viable Ace Attorney game, but it's definitely a weaker installment.
... Of course, the MASON system was bulls***, but we'll be here all week if we discuss that.

Oh, I totally agree with you on that. Apollo Justice was probably the worst game of the series, from both a story and gameplay mechanics perspective (though the bit about black psyche-locks was interesting, at least, if a bit underdeveloped).
From Phoenix willingly using the very tactic that got him disbarred in order to catch Kristoph Gavin in the first case to the thinly-veiled excuses to play the same freaking clip of Klavier's guitar catching on fire over and over again in the third case, to Phoenix's inexplicable pull with the justice system just to get the Jurist system implemented (never mind getting to control who was on the jury and everything else that goes into a jury trial), the story just flat out sucked.
And then there's the gameplay mechanics. I felt like the controls were very difficult to use during the Perceive segments. It was really hard to get the indicator to hover over the correct spot when I tried it. Then there was that one segment in the first case where you have to highlight the hand with the full house - that was way too nit-picky for me. (I mean really, selecting the King cards is wrong, but selecting the Ace cards is correct? WTF?) Oh, and let's not forget the gimmick mechanics that were used once and then never spoken of again...
I mean, seriously. I'd be sorely tempted to eject Apollo Justice from my headcanon for the series if it weren't for the fact that Gyakuten Saiban 5 will most likely pick up where Apollo Justice left off in terms of continuity.
It's just that bad...
>>290958 I can understand the reasoning behind liking Edgeworth, though Phoenix is just a bit more 'gullible' at times. True, he trusts his clients heavily, but take his performance in the fourth game. His in-court performance honestly felt like some bad writing. When is he EVER as 'cocky' as he was, then?
Personally, I'm more a fan of Godot or Franziska, specifically the latter, since she tend to go through minimal amounts of character development, but it's always entertaining to see her interact with other characters in the games.
