I'm a huge fan of reading. Back when I was in school and everyone else was outside at lunchtime, doing sports or whatever, I was the kid that sat in the school's library and read the whole time. Unfortunately now that I'm at university I have less time to read, but I always take my laptop into lectures, just in case... heh.

My favourite types of writing are sad and (not excessively [pointlessly?] violent) dark fiction, though an appropriate level of romance also adds a lot to a story, in my opinion.

My favourite book/s would probably be those concerned with the universe of Ender Wiggin, particularly Ender's Game itself and the three that follow Ender afterwards.

I haven't done a whole lot of writing, though I'd love to do more. I've tried to write a few stories in the past, but they always petered out, mainly due to lack of planning/ideas to actually make a full story. Also, I'm often referred to as an 'economical' writer - that is, I don't use many words to describe what I'm writing. Ponies however, already having a world and background information for me to work off, seem easier to get inspiration for and write.
