Regardless of what the others say, I will always like the displaced idea. It was a good way to combine the HiE and Crossover tropes. It also gave people's OC's powers, without having to resort to the "7th Element of Harmony", "Alicorn" , "Gary/Mary Stu" cancers that plague this ridiculous website. So when your OC is given characteristics that the reader can recognize (i.e being a. Dalek), it's easier to comprehend and read.
